   I'm alive . . . *curls up in a ball with Death Note*

Time of Post: 11:30 PM(MT) Currently Listening To: "No! Virtual" by Kotani Kinya Current Gundam Mood: Stressed. Very stressed. Mouuu, I don't like having my Daddy in the hospital! He's a very uncooperative patient--meaning he doesn't like being in the hospital either, and is pushing himself waaay too hard to get better, which is only making it harder for him to do so! Phew, that was a mouthful! Anyway, I found out exactly what he has in terms more specific than "an infected leg". He has something called Cellulitis, which is caused by a combination of things (diabetes, poor circulation, obesity, etc) which my dad happens to have. We're not sure what triggered it to happen now of all times, but it happened, and my poor Daddy's whole left calf from knee to ankle is bright red and blistering. It's pretty gross, actually, but they finally got the swelling down enough to bandage it yesterday while I was visiting him . . . another thing I got to see while I was there is how my dad acts on morphine. Now that was weird. He's the type that will mumble incoherently when he's asleep, and talk non-stop when he's awake, and only make slightly more sense than when he's asleep. He kept mixing his mumbling about stuff from his work (social worker) and stuff about books he's read. It was kinda interesting when it made any sense. . . Anyways he'll probably be in the hospital for at least another week or so. If you're the type who prays, would you mind giving him a quick prayer? I'd really appriciate it. Fwah, well besides the whole "Dad's in the hospital" thing, work isn't real fun right now either. I'm pretty sure one of my supervisors hates me. She's constantly chewing me out for standing at the register . . . Uuuuuummmmm, lady? I'M A FREAKIN CASHIER!!!! Standing at the register is what I do! But nooo, apparently, if there aren't any customers, I'm supposed to tidy stuff. Now, I can understand keeping the stuff near the registers nice falling under my job description, but she told me that if there wasn't anything to do, to go fold shirts. Uh, the shirts are at the other end of the store. What am I supposed to do with my register? I kinda can't just leave it sitting there. . . Ma~taku! That lady irritates me! Anyways, sorry about that rant. I just had to get it out of my system. Feh. Well, anyways, I guess I'll get to what I really wanted to talk about. Can you say 'Death Note'? Mwahaha! I have become totally obsessed with this over the past week or so. I'm finally caught up the the current American releases--meaning I have the first five volumes and am eagerly awaiting six. Wai! This series is so good!!! Ah, so many twists and turns, not to mention the totally deep plot! This is a total psychological treat, a real mind game where you can never guess the outcome, no matter how hard you try. Believe me, every time I've tried to predict what would happen, I've been totally off, lol. Anyone else read Death Note? If so, who's your favorite, Light or L? I like L ^^ In fact, here's a pic! ^_~ Hey, and just for the hell of it, another. I just love his expression here! Ha, I am so totally gonna do a fanart of him sometime soon. Anyways, on to why I love him to death! First off, he's a mad genius. He's very interesting to watch because he's so eccentric--sitting like a monkey all the time, anyone?--but he's also very smart, and reading the way he deduces stuff is really fun. Also, he's always eating something. It's just kinda funny because he seems to always have a piece of cake or some pudding, or some sort of treat that he munches on unabashedly while he's talking to people. I dunno, it's endearing in a weird way. And if he's not eating anything, he chews on his finger. Also oddly endearing. Alright, alright, I'll stop talking about L now, lol.    So much for camping . . .

Time of Post: 10:04 PM(MT) Currently Listening To: "I Believe In A Thing Called Love" by The Darkness Current Gundam Mood: A bit worried. Well, now I bet a bunch of you are kinda confused right now, thinking "Now, wait a minute, wasn't she supposed to go camping?" Ahaha, you'd be right. I was gonna go camping today, but . . . well, my dad had to go to the hospital. He got an infection in his leg--don't ask what that means, because I don't know either, that's just what they told me--and now he's on antibiotics. My mom says he'll be there for a few days. So, we're staying here rather than going to the reuinion. I'm still a little worried, but have been assured that he will be just fine. I'm still gonna visit him tomorrow though. Well, since we're not going camping, I now have two days off that I don't know what to do with. Well, actually, I didn't know what to do with them earlier, I've since made plans. Tomorrow (Mon) I'm gonna go visit my dad, then spend the day with my mom, then on Tuesday, I'm gonna visit Jerry and David again. The reason I'm going this time is because I got a new anime and I really want them to see it cuz it's uber funny. What anime, you might ask? Ah, it's called 'Bokusatsu Tenshi wa Dokuro-chan', which translates to 'Club-to-Death Angel Dokuro-chan'. Ahaha, yes, it's very violent, but also very funny. It reminds me of Puni Puni Poemy for some odd reason . . . anyways, here's a pic of Dokuro-chan herself! That's Sakura (boy) flying away covered in blood in the background. Yes, she kills him and brings him back to life fairly regularly. O_o Anyways, I have another new fanart today, so if you would be so kind as to look at it, along with the other two pics I submitted yesterday, I'd be much appriciative, and I would show it with a plate of cookies.    New Fanart!!

Time of Post: 10:31 PM(MT) Currently Listening To: "Cloud Age Symphony" by Okino Current Gundam Mood: Feeling a bit wicked. Mouuu, I had a morning shift today, and lemme tell ya, anyone who shops before noon is insane. Blagh, I don't even function before noon! Ah well, at least I was home by four. ^^ That's always nice. Anyways, I thought I'd warn everyone that I won't be here for the next few days because I'm going camping. Family reunion and all that. I should be back to post by Tuesday night, which will be Wednesday here. We're going somewhere different this year for our reunion, so I'm a bit worried it won't be as fun. We usually go to Silver Creek, but this year my aunt insisted we go to her cabin, which I've never been to. I also think my mom, my other aunt, and my grandma are a bit miffed at her for kinda forcing the decision on everyone else. *shakes head* family politics are complicated. Aaaanyways, on to something else. I have new fanart! Ya~ay! It's been a while since I submitted anything, neh? This time it's a (late) birthday gift for Lordsesshomaru. Hope ya like it, Chris! Time of Post: 10:41 PM(MT) Currently Listening To: "You're Beautiful" by James Blunt Current Gundam Mood: Tired and just a wee bit pissed off Mouuuuuu, I just got home about 15 minutes ago, and I'm sooooo tired! I only did a four hour shift, but I had a lot of . . . difficult . . . customers today. *eye twitch* I'll just say I had a bad day and leave it at that, neh? Hmm, what else can I talk about? Ah! I found how I can watch more Bleach without having to wait until September! Yaaaay youtube! ^_~ Ah, I do so love that site . . . though if I wanna watch anything, I have to be prepared to wait for long periods of time. Stupid slow internet, making even really short videos take 20-30 minutes to load, minimum. . . feh, but I will be patient! Anime is worth the wait!! ^_~ Oh hey, speaking of youtube stuffs, would you guys please go visit atreyu7slip and watch his AMV?    I'm finally in on the series!

Time of Post: 10:57 PM(MT) Currently Listening To: "Run" by Snow Patrol Current Gundam Mood: Happy ^^ Yaaay! I didn't get called in today! That's the first time since I started working (Besides Sunday, but that doesn't count since that's the day I put that I couldn't work anyway otherwise I'm sure they would've called me). I was so happy when I woke up around 12:30 or so to discover that the phone had not rung at all. Still, I wasn't taking any chances at them calling me in for a night shift. Sooo! I went over to Jerry's house for the afternoon instead! ^^ We watched a lot of anime--I'd brought Get Backers and they'd just bought Golden Boy. Haha, I wonder which one they liked more? XD I could tell they enjoyed Get Backers, but I don't think anything will beat Golden Boy in their minds! Ah, it was so much fun watching that with guys who love dirty humor! The whole time they were saying things like "Holy shit, look at her!" or "Oh, that lucky bastard!!" >.< It was a good laugh though. It's so fun to see them get all worked up about stuff like that, and their constant commentary made the anime twice as funny. Anyways, on to the topic of my subject-thingie--I have discovered Ouran High School Host Club! Haha, okay, well I didn't exactly 'discover' it. I've been hearing about it all over the place, and I finally got curious enough to see what all of the fuss is about. And I'm glad I did! ^^ I've only seen the first episode and I'm already in love with it. I love the art style, and the characters and story are really charming. I think I'm also in love with the twins, Hikaru and Kaoru. Man, what is it with me and red heads lately? O.o I usually don't care that much for red hair, but damn lately! What's the list up to now? Gaara, Axel, Renji (thanks LS for reminding me of that one, lol), Reno, Hiro, and now Hikaru and Kaoru. Geez! XD There they are--that's Kyoya in the middle. I like him too. ^^ Aaaaanyways! I think that's all I have to talk about today.    I've been called in again!

Time of Post: 10:04 AM(MT) Currently Listening To: "D-technolife" by Uverworld Current Gundam Mood: *cries* I got called into work again!!! Noon to six today. I dun wanna goooooo! TOT Meh, well I guess I shouldn't complain. . . I mean, originally I was only gonna get about 11 hours of pay for my first paycheck, but now I'm gonna get 27--more if they decided to call me in AGAIN before Thursday. *cries again* But! Money is money, and I know for sure I'm going to get at least $125 (all my pay actually adds up to around $178 or so, but I took 30% off for taxes, though I'm not sure that's the right percentage.) It's not even so much that I don't want to go in, it's that I want to sleep more. I didn't konk out until around 4AM last night, and then it was on the couch. My parents woke me up before they went to work (around 5:30 or so) and I just, for some unknown reason, grabbed a pillow and went back to sleep. On the couch. My brother had a good laugh when he found me a couple of hours ago. Then another when he observed the "Hey, can you come in today?" call. He keeps teasing me, saying "Bwahahaha! Welcome to my world!!" So yeah, I'm running on about three hours of sleep right now, but I don't want to doze off again, because I know I won't wake up again before it's time to go to work. *grumbles* Okay, okay, I'll stop complaining and switch to how I spent Father's Day. We took my Dad out to eat at this mondo buffey called "Golden Corral" (I think they have these in other places too, I'm just not sure where, besides Utah) and we all stuffed ourselves pretty full. Then we went to Borders for Daddy to pick out some books, but they were closed, so we had to go to Barnes and Noble's instead. I actually didn't mind, because they had Loveless vol 2!!! *jumps for joy* I've been waiting for this for months! Ah, I'm absolutely in love with this series! The story is so deep, and I love Ritsuka to death. *wuvs on the adorable kitty ears and tail* *ahem* Sorry about that, fangirl moment. Uhhh, well that's all from me for now. See you all tonight!    O_o Day 2!

Time of Post: 12:06 AM(MT) Currently Listening To: "Middle of Nowhere" by Hot Hot Heat Current Gundam Mood: Caffine, sweet caffine. . . You know how I wasn't supposed to work again until Thursday? Yeah, well, not as true as I thought. You see, someone quit this morning, so my boss has been scrambling around for people to take over that person's shifts. Sooo, I got called around noon today (when I was still asleep) and asked if I wanted to work from 5:30 to 10. Of course, being the eager-beaver new girl, I agreed, and bam! Off I went. Yaaay, more money! Oh yeah, and my second day was much easier than my first. And Sara (my boss) kept telling me that I was doing exceptionally good especially considering it was my second day. Yay, praise! *basks in the warmth of having an ego boost* Ah, also because of the quiting person, I got another shift on Friday. And they're both evening shifts! Woohoo! I don't think I'd be able to function in the morning. . . Mwah, well once again work was the main part of my day, and not much else interesting happened. (except minor squabbling for the shower, but I won't bore you with that). Instead I've got another special in my Daily Scan.    And So My Life As A Cashier Begins. . .

Time of Post: 12:19 AM(MT) Currently Listening To: "Counting Bodies Like Sheep to the Rhythm of the War Drums" by A Perfect Circle----Nightmare Current Gundam Mood: I'm tired!! Well, I had my first day of work today. A seven hour shift, four hours of which were spent on orientation. We watched some videos, covered the various dos and don'ts, dress codes, time cards, etc. Then we did a little tour of the store, then we got some cash register training. Then we started taking customers. Aiiiee! I get so flustered! Ah well, but most of them knew I was new and cut me some slack. I think the thing I hate the most is taking off those bulky plastic tags they put on clothes and shoes, because you have to get the thing juuuuuust right or it won't come off. XP Ah well, at least I don't have to work again until next Thursday.    Shenanigans!!

XD Haha, I had fun today. ^^ David (not Jerry's little brother, but a different one) came over a while ago, and we just chatted with my buddies over IM. Yaaay Aya! *huggles Aya-chan to death* David is such a random guy, so much fun to hang out with. And I let him mooch a bunch of food because he just moved out on his own and always forgets to buy groceries. XD Anyways, the reason I'm all flustered is because the subject of yaoi came up, and, not being an anime fan, David hadn't even the slightest clue as to what it was. I got a little flustered to explain (not to mention my mom and brother were a few feet away and both know perfectly well what yaoi is), so I told him I'd tell him another time, lol. >_< Hmm, what else happened today? Hmmm. . . oh yeah. . . I GOT A JOB!!!!!!!!! Mwahahaha! I got it! I got it! *jumps around* Yaaaaay! I start on Friday. ^___________^ Another short post, sorry! Bai bai!    Short!!

Time of Post: 10:40 PM(MT) Currently Listening To: "KTK 2-Kiss Kara Hajimaru Miracle" by Steel Angels-----"Wondafuru!!" Current Gundam Mood: Pretending I'm not nervous Ah, I had my interview today. It was. . . short. Really short. Only about ten minutes, actually. Apparently they'd been interviewing people all day, so I might not get it. I'll know for sure within the next couple of days. *crosses fingers* Meh, well that's my main point of the day. All of my other various art projects have been sucking away my free time, but for once I don't mind. If I keep busy, I won't have time to fidget about getting a job. ^^ Oh! Well I did get a bunch of music I've been meaning to find for a while. Just some misc anime songs that I don't have the money to buy, lol. Hmmm, two songs from Saiyuki, one from Serial Experiments Lain, one from Steel Angel Kurumi, one from Dirty Pair Flash, and one from Berserk. Whew! I guess that was a few more than I thought, lol. But it's making my mp3 player mucho more interesting. ^_~ Meh, well short post today. Sorry! If ya want something more interesting, read my last post--I don't think many people saw it.
