Wow!!
My friend Lyndsey, whom I haven't seen for over a year called me out of the blue today! I havent' talked on the phone for so long in quite a while! It was nice talking to her, and she's going to come over and spend the night tomorow.
Oh, and Jerry's probably coming over tonight so he can help me with my math, and in return, I'll give him some drawing lessons!
Later!! ^_^

Good but boring day. . .
You ever have one of those days where you're happy, but kinda bored all day? That was me today.
*gulp* I did something brave today that I know I'm gonna regret. My friend, Jerry, is one of the nicest, funniest, and most interesting guys I've ever met. If you hadn't guessed by now I kinda sorta like him. But I don't want to ruin our friendship by saying something. But. . I decided to hint a little. I sent him a valo-gram (little cards that you buy that the office passes out on Vday) and I wrote "Daisuki!" on it. For those who don't know, daisuki is like a step down from I love you in Japanese. If he takes it as a joke, that's fine, or he might not get it, but just maybe he'll take it seriously. *blush* Gaah! I'm so nervous now! Maybe I'll have a Valentine after all!
Cross your fingers!!

My Top Ten Favorite Animes
Since I have nothing better to post about, I figured I'd talk about my likes and dislikes in the anime world.
Lets start out with my favorites!
1. Love Hina:
This is the manga that got me into reading manga. Before this, I only watched it on TV. Love Hina is the reason that I'm such an anime freak! One bad thing about starting my manga life with Love Hina is the fact that my standards for art have been set pretty high. I don't like poorly drawn manga. But if you get the chance, read Love Hina, the story is addicting and funny, and the art is amazing!!
2. Inuyasha:
I know, I know, everyone likes Inu, but in truth, the story is really really good, and all of the characters are likeable! Not to mention, Sesshomaru has his own fangirl club; I mean, just look at how many girls are in love with him!! Great series, no question!
3. Ranma 1/2:
This series was made by the same person who made Inuyasha, and she did wonderfull with Ranma too! The story is well developed and funny, and I love all of the characters!
4. Tenchi Muyo!:
This was one of the first animes on cartoon network, and although it was heavily edited, it was perfect for my ten year old self. This is still one of my favs, and I love watching and reading it whenever I'm bored.
5. Fruits Basket:
I've only read the first volume of this series, but I've already fallen in love with it. The art is amazing, and the story is great(so far). I can't wait to read more!
6. Princess Mononoke:
Anything by Hayao Miyazaki is fabolous, but Princess Mononoke is my favorite of his films.
7.Warriors of the Wind:
Another of Hayao Miyazaki's films. This one was made over ten years ago, and it was the first anime I ever saw(I was four). Even today, it remains one of my favorites.
8.Comic Party:
I like this manga a lot simply because I can relate to it. An aspiring manga-ka fighting his way to the top, trying to make deadlines and making lots of strange friends.
9. Dirty Pair Flash:
Okay, first off, the title is decieving. The show isn't pervy or anything, and I wasn't the one that bought it, it was my brother. Eventually, he persuaded me to watch it, and it was really funny! I recomend it if you're not too embarassed by the title! ^_^
10. DNAngel:
I love this manga!! The art is gorgeous and the story hooking. Even though Daisuke is younger than me, he is just soooo adorable that I want to huggle him until he faints!! *Ahem* Anywayz, its a great manga, with beautiful art!!
And that's all folks!!

Even More Fanart!
I dunno why, but for the last couple of days, I've been drawing like crazy! In two of my new pics, I decided to follow ElvesAteMyRamen's advice and blend the colors, and it turned out great! My only regret is not being able to try out the famous colorless blender. I need to get out and buy one.
Hmm. Well, other than that, my Aunt Pammy and her husband are coming to stay a couple of days this weekend, then my mom is going with them to my uncle's funeral. I wish I could go, but I have school, and my parents don't want me to miss anymore.
Have a nice day!!

Thanks So Much Everyone!
I'm feeling a lot better than I was yesterday, even if I'm still very sad. Thanks for all of your comments and support, they really helped. Thanks especially to AwesomeDude898. Logan, you are so wonderfull, and I'm very thankfull to have you as a friend.
Well, on a lighter note, I've gotten 600 hits on my site, and have done a pic to comemorate it. The pic was originally intended for when I got 500 hits, but I didn't finish it in time. This one was made earlier today.
Also, my Inuyasha website is officially online. Here's the link if you want to go and check it out. Click Here
Hope I didn't put too many spoilers!
Thanks again everyone!
-Erin

In Loving Memory
This post is dedicated to my uncle Markie. He died last night. I miss him already; it doesn't matter that he lived over 200 miles away, we were still close. He was a wonderful person, who was never unkind to anyone. He died in his sleep, and I'm glad for it. I think that's the best way to go; to simply slip into oblivion. I loved him dearly and always will.
Goodbye Uncle Markie.

A New Anime and a Movie Review!
Well, I ended up renting movies instead of going to the theatre, so here's a review of Shaun of the Dead:
I really liked this movie; it had all of the quirky humor that I like as well as a good plot. I give it a nine out of ten.
And the new anime I've found (which isn't new to most people) is Fruits Basket. I'be been hearing good things about this one for so long that I decided to buy the first volume and try it out. As predicted, it was really good! I plan on buying volume 2 as soon as I can.
Well, hope everyone has a good day!! ^_^
