   Erin-chan and the No Good Dirty Rotten, Very Bad Day

Time of Post: 10:10 PM(MT) Current Gundam Mood: Quite pissed off at my friend, but slowly getting over it. Okay, I won't go into detail, but I am very, very pissed off at one of my friends right now. Let's just say that he was talking crap when I wasn't at school--he insists he joking, but he has no tact, and this supposed "joke" has launched a rumor that is very, very annoying. Once again, I won't go into detail, but let's just say it involves my integrity. I'm sure it will dissipate with time, but for the moment, I'm not speaking with him. *eye twitch* Even after I got home from school (and away from that ugly rumor) I still wasn't feeling too great. I spent a large amount of time trying to sleep--as usual, I'm short on it--but failed at that, so I got on the net and tried to find something to cheer myself up. I read a couple of cute fanfics, and that helped, but I think my greatest find was this picture right here: Yeah, that snapped me out of it! I just about had an anime-esque nosebleed when I caught site of this! O_o Does it make me shallow that something as simple as a picture can put me in a good mood? Anyway, just thought I'd share to see if anyone else looses the ability to think for a few seconds. Aaooo! ^_~ Random Notebook Scan of the Day: Yeah there's a story behind this one. You see, I was trying to stay awake during class once, so I doodled this and . . . I fell asleep in the middle of drawing it! >_< I'm not joking!    Thank you, medicine!

Time of Post: 10:00 PM(MT) Current Gundam Mood: Feeling muuuuch better today! ^_^ My dentist appointment this morning went about as well as expected--though I do have to go back to get a filling next week -_-" I was still feeling pretty crappy afterwards, so my mom stopped to pick up more tissues and some medicine. Thank you! I feel sooo much better now that I have something to unclog my nose! I ended up staying home again, but I will go tomorrow. . . I promised. *pouts* I did do something productive today though. You see, I finally finished my brother's Christmas present! I'm well aware that it's two months late. . . but I had a really hard time with this one! My brother tends to have high expectations when it comes to my drawings, so I was kinda nervous. In fact, I still wasn't quite satisfied with the finished product, but luckily he was. And man oh man did he show it! I don't think I've gotten that many hugs from him in one day in a looong time.    Still siiiiick!

Time of Post: 10:35 PM(MT) Current Gundam Mood: XP Well, I ended up staying home today (and we're out of tissues now too! Mommy! I need soft tissues for my poor abused nose! TOT). Thanks for all of the well wishes though. ^_^ Mou, I have a dentist appointment tomorrow. I'm sure he'll just looove my sick breath. Oh well, thems the breaks for him, neh? Uuuu, what did I do all day? Not a whole hell of a lot, I'll tell you that. Mostly I just sat on my butt and watched Prince of Tennis. I do love that show, even if it does go a little over the top sometimes. Its just one of those things that's fun if you don't take it too seriously. Like Kaidoh for instance. If I took all of his hissing seriously, I would hate him, but right now I'm at the point where I have a hard time not cracking up whenever he does it. Oh, and apparently my laughter is infectious, because my bro has started laughing at his hissing too. ^_^ Random Notebook Scan of the Day: Don't have one today (too tired and lazy to hunt one out and scan it), but I'll make it up with some Teni-Puri pictures, neh?    I'm siiiiiick! XP

Time of Post: 10:00 Current Gundam Mood: Mou, not feeling too good. Well, I have to go back to school tomorrow. . . that is if I even go. I may have had a four day weekend, but I spent most of it miserably sick--that's most of why I haven't been posting, actually. Even now I'm not feeling too good. I'm fairly certain I have a sinus infection, if the cottony feeling in my head and nose is anything to go by. Either way, I'm sick and tired and just a weeee bit grumpy. But! On to lighter news, I have new fanart! I spent some of my time as an invalid over the past couple of days watching Gundam Wing, and I was inspired to do a picture of Wufei. I put him along with something I saw on a bumper sticker once. I hope it can get at least a chuckle. ^_^ Other than drawing and watching Gundam, I also spent a fair amount of time writing, though I got less done that I'd hoped. Still, progress is progress, neh? Hmm, what else? Oh, I've been hunting for info on an anime I've been hearing about. It's called Meine Liebe (I believe that's German for 'My Love'). Anyone heard of it? If so, is it any good?    Happy Valentine's Day!

Time of Post: 10:38 PM(MT) Current Gundam Mood: ^___^ Happy Valentine's Day, all! What? I'm a day late? Kuso! >_< Uhm . . . *hands out candy and cards anyway* Okay, on to how my V-day went. I didn't get any valo-grams at school, though Jerry assured me earlier that he'd wanted to send me one, but hadn't been able to get a hold of someone who was selling them. I did, however, get valentines from all of my family members. From my brother I got a pack of twix (my favorite candybar), from my dad I got a cute little stuffed dog, a happy bunny poster, and three (yes three!) new sketch books, and from my mom, I got a nice, home-made card (my mom makes beautiful cards) and a box of pocky. Yaaay! Lots of munchies and cute things! ^_^ I am a content girl today. Heheh, well, I have lots of new fanart in honor of this commercial holiday--which is why I'm a day late, actually; I didn't have them finished in time yesterday to post, and I didn't want to get up early to finish them ^_^"" Anyway, I have three pics; two that the girls will like better, and one that the guys will like better. And along with all of the V-day goodness, I also have a fanart of Ritsuka from Loveless.    It's too early. . . .

Time of Post: 6:55 AM(MT) Current Gundam Mood: Tired! Yes, it is an odd day; I'm posting first thing in the morning. I usually--as most of you know--post at night before I go to bed, buuuuut! Last night, I was running a little behind (I believe the word is 'procrastinating') on everything, so I had two choices before going to bed. 1)Post, and 2)take a shower. Obviously I opted for bathing, and that's part of why I decided to post now of all times. ^_^ Anyway, the other reason I'm awake and posting at this ungodly hour is because I have new fanart! Hai, a picture of Takuya that I'm fairly proud of, and a picture of chibi Kanashi and Jiro that I thought turned out pretty cute. Votes and comments earn brownies and icecream! Brrr! *shivers* I always forget how bloody cold my house is in the morning! I'm tempted to go get my blanket and snuggle with my cat.    Manga!

Time of Post: 10:49 PM(MT) Current Gundam Mood: Happy, but vaguely harassed. ^_^ I just got home from running out to get some manga. I bought Loveless vol 1 and Eerie Queerie vol 4, which I believe is the last in that series. I can't wait to see how things end up between Mitsuo and Hasunuma! ^_^ Anyway, you know what? My brother really must be feeling better, because he was picking at me the entire car ride to and from Boise. You know, pulling one strand of hair until I notice, poking the back of my seat, jiggling his foot to make the entire car shake, etc. He generally only does stuff like that when he's in a good mood, so I take this as a positive sign. Other than that, I really didn't do much. I spent most of the day in my PJs watching tv. I didn't get dressed until nearly 7pm. I probably should've spent that free time doing something productive like cleaning or drawing, but I was feeling really lazy. Nice, neh? Random Notebook Scan of the Day: Oyasumi!

   Lookie Lookie!

Time of Post: 10:38 PM(MT) Current Gundam Mood: Feeling quite a bit better. Well, I didn't see much of my brother today, but for the hour we were both at home, he seemed a bit better. He didn't complain about anything, so that's promising. We'll see how he's feeling when he gets home from work. Speaking of my brother, he let me play Luminus the other day on his PSP, and I am totally hooked! I love tetris and puzzle games like that, so this is a real treat to play. And the music is awesome! If you ever get a chance to play this game, do it! You'll love it, I promise. ^_^ Oh! I got the newest issue of Manga Magazine today, and look what it came with! Yep! They're little valentines featuring the manga Loveless. I've seen the first couple episodes of the anime of Loveless, and I can't wait to get my hands on the manga. Anyway, aren't those just so kawaii! I love them! (and I'm not givin em away, no siree! I'm keepin em for myself! ^_~) Hmm, what else? Oh, my dad brought home a bargain bin anime today--meaning something he got at a pawnshop for cheap. He picks these up sometimes, and they tend to be rather hit or miss. Some good ones he's gotten include: Darkside Blues, Demon City Shinjuku, and Appleseed. We've gotten rid of the bad ones, and they were erased from my memory. O.o Anyway, the one he brought home today is something called "Bubblegum Crisis". Anyone ever heard of it? I have no idea exactly what it's about, but judging by the cover I'm guessing something Sci-fi. Ano, I think that's it! Random Notebook Scan of the Day: Heehee, I did this one during Seminary today.    Mou. . .

Time of Post: 10:00 PM(MT) Current Gundam Mood: Worried. Sorry I haven't posted in the last couple of days; I've had a lot going on. The main thing is my brother. He's been complaining about not feeling well for a couple of weeks now, and in the past few days things have gotten worse and he's a little out of it. He says he's getting dizzy spells and shaking pretty badly. One of two things is wrong--either he's really sick (like with allergies or something minor like that), or he's having problems with anxiety again. This happened a couple of years ago, and his anxiety got so bad that he had to go on anti-depressants to get rid of it. He stopped taking them about a year ago, but he still has some left, so he's gonna try them again and see if things get better. Let's hope it's something simple like that, neh? Anyway, now that that's out of my system, I'll move on to my day. I think the most interesting thing was that I finally made some progress on my project for art. Our current big assignment was to pick a famous artist and emulate their style on a 2x3 ft painting. I chose to do M.C. Escher. I really like his eye-trick stuff. I'm painting a dragon climbing from a painting. Heh, a painting within a painting. ^_^ Why don't I just show you guys the picture that inspired my idea? It's called "Reptiles" Anyway, I'm going for an effect like that, but I doubt I'll be able to execute it that well. Wish me luck, neh? Hmm, well not an overwhelming response to my fic. I'll just post it on fanfiction.net when I get it all typed up and link it so those who really want to read it can. Sound good? Good. ^_~ Oh yeah, like the new layout? It took me forever simply because photobucket kept resizing my bg and making it too small. I had to upload it like five times before it got it right. ^_^" Also, I ditched the sprites because I didn't really like the way they looks, but I'm pleased with things now.    Don't Cry For Me, Argentina!

Time of Post: 10:05 PM(MT) Current Gundam Mood: Genki! I saw Evita for the first time earlier today and I've had that Argentina song stuck in my head all day! Hence the subject. Anyway, it was pretty good, but not my favorite musical. . . damn you Argentina song! You plague my mind by playing over and over and over again! >_< Aaaanyway, not a whole heck of a lot happened today, so I think I'll post a couple of paragraphs from my new fic. It's a Gundam fic--I forgot to mention that the other day. I haven't finished typing it yet, but I do have something, so I'll post that. It's called "Needed" and it's gonna be a sappy little romance story between Quatre and Duo. Yes, yaoi and all that, but I haven't decided if I'm going to put a lemon in there or not. Who knows; I'll cross that bridge when I come to it--meaning if it does happen, it won't be for a while. Anyway, here's a little snippet. If you guys like it, I'll post more. Needed Chapter 1: Awake It’s so dark. A hand twitched, almost unnoticeably. Why is it dark? A tongue flicked out, moistening dry lips. Am I asleep? Eyes moved rapidly beneath closed lids. I think I am. Maybe I should try opening my eyes. Long, dark lashes fluttered against pale cheeks. Finally the eyes opened, only to clamp shut again as they were assaulted by blinding light. Duo hissed and brought a hand up to block the light so he could see, but found it much more difficult than it ought to be. His arm felt like lead, and after only a few moments of holding it up, he had to put it down again. At least his eyes were used to the light now. Where am I? He glanced around, taking in his surroundings. He appeared to be in a hospital bed, with several beds lined on either side of him and across a small aisle. The room was silent, save for the various beeps and other noises made by life monitoring systems. He looked for a call button, but found none. Duo made a face. What kind of hospital doesn’t have a nurse call button? On the off chance that someone would hear him, Duo called out tentatively “Hello?” and nearly recoiled at the sound of his voice; it was gravelly and hoarse, almost as if it hadn’t been used in a while. He coughed and cleared his throat, then tried again. “Hello? Anyone there?” Better this time, but still different. His voice sounded odd—-deeper, maybe? There was a slight noise out in the hallway, followed by a voice saying “I’ll check, buy you’re probably just hearing things again, Cat.” A woman with two thick spiral braids of a reddish color poked her head into the room and scanned it lazily. She froze when her eyes landed on Duo, who had sat up, and her jaw dropped. He opened his mouth to say something, but before he could, she’d zipped away, yelling, “Cat! Cat! You were right! One of them woke up!” Woke up? Duo barely had time to register the thought before the door opened again and a blonde rushed in. A very familiar blonde. “Quatre?” Duo asked, surprised to see his small friend in nurse’s scrubs, staring at him, mouth agape. “Duo?” He breathed, “Duo! Oh, Allah! You’re awake!” And that's all you get for today. ^_~ Tell me if you like it or not, neh?
