Note to Self: Call before going somewhere. . .
Time of Post: 10:51 PM(MT)
Heh, yeah, after school, I drove into town and bought a couple of mangas, but I forgot to call my brother and tell him I was going to be late. I got home and he was just about to leave for work, and I got a hurried chewing out. You know "You really ought to call if you're going somewhere. I was really worried! Ah, I've got to go, but I was afraid you'd gotten in a wreck or ran out of gas or something! Call next time!" *snicker* And this was coming from my brother! Oddly enough, when my mom got home, she wasn't the least bit angry with me. She actually seemed happy that I could drive on my own in rainy traffic. Go me! ^_^
Anyway, the mangas I got were Naruto vol. 5 and Legal Drug vol. 2. Both were wonderful!! Although Naruto left off with a cliff hanger again. They like doing that, don't they? Legal Drug was cute too, and I liked the little bonus chapter they had at the end about chocolate. ^_~ that was entertaining! Tweaked your curiosty? Too bad, I'm not tellin!!
Okay, I need you guys' opinion on something, neh?
Here goes: Last week on Tuesday, I decided that I was going to skip Seminary. For those who don't know, Seminary is a religious class, no credit is given to those who take it, so it's technically not against the rules to skip, its just frowned upon, and everyone skips at least once. So I decided to go have lunch with Jerry instead of going. So Tuesday came, and I went over to Jerry's house for a couple of hours instead of going to class, didn't get caught, and had a lot of fun catching up. He's a good friend and I hadn't seen him in a while.
So all goes well and things should go back to normal, right? Wrong, my friend, Robert, who is in my Seminary class, has been trying to send me on a guilt trip ever since it happened, and it's really pissing me off! I mean, why me? Other people skip all the time, and he never bothers them about it. Hell, he laughs about it with them! So why should I have to feel bad about something that everyone does? Is that fair? You know, I think the only reason he's mad at me is because I didn't bring him with me.
So yeah, do you think it's fair for him to get mad at me and to try and send me on a guilt trip about something that he doesn't care about anyone else doing? Any and all opinions are welcome.
Thanks so much! |
