New Fanart!

Fwah, had a nice day off.
Heyo people! Heheh, thankies mucho for all of the Birthday wishes! I had a great birthday (though a good chunk of my presents are still enroute from various places), and work has been pleasant too. I'm quite surprised that seven hour shift didn't kill me, actually, but ya know ^^ At least I found out something interesting about my friend/coworker Amanda . . . she likes anime too! Oh hell yeah I knew there was a reason I liked her! (ya know, besides the fact that she's totally cool).
Anyways, back to the Bday stuff for a minute, I wanna give a special thanks to Lordsesshomaru, because he sent me this lovely card.
Thank you soooo much! Ah, Gaara is so mucho cool! Heheh, just had to share this nifty card with everyone! ^____________^
Alrightie, now on to the subject matter of this post! I have new fanart! Yaaaay! Who is it of, you may ask? Can you say "Axel"? The picture is entitled "Cosplay". It's a pic of Axel dressed as Roxas. Yeah, I know, weird. And since it's weird, I will explain my thought process. Originally, I intended to do a picture of Roxas dressed as Sora, but for some odd reason, my fangirl brain popped up and said "Draw Axel!" But I wanted to keep the Cosplay theme, so I did. Anyways, here's the linky, so if ya don't mind . . . ? (Consider comments late birthday presents if you didn't send me anything ^_~)

Below them a drenched and soaking Riku contemplated the bucket he had just removed from his head, and then squinted upward at the boys staring at him from the window. His hair was plastered down flat and his school shirt clung translucently to his torso. He pushed his wet hair out of his face.
"I'M SO SORRY!" Sora shouted. "IT WAS AN ACCIDENT! ARE YOU OKAY???"
Tidus grunted and tried to haul the smaller boy safely inside the window as the classroom door opened behind them and the teacher looked out in trepidation. "Sora, get the hell back in here! Riku will forgive you. Right Wakka? What's he doing right now?"
“He's looking thoughtful," Wakka reported as Sora was protestingly dragged inside. "He's walking over to the drinking fountain. He seems fine, Sora, really. Now he's wiping his face. Now he’s... refilling the bucket."
There was a long pause. Wakka gulped.
“Now he’s walking towards the stairs.”
Behind them, the teacher closed the door again.
An hour later, after the combined forces of Vice Principal's Cloud and Squall had finally managed to end the Great Summer Water Fight of 2000, all four boys were standing wetly in the corridor, the sun warming and (slowly) drying them.

Random Scan of the Day:
Heheh, this sketch was done after I went on a magical girl kick . . . well, sorta. I watched some Sailor Moon (oh yeah, old school anime) Puni Puni Poemy, Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan, and other things of that nature, all within about a week, so my little brain was churning with ideas for costumes. It's out of my system now, but only after about four sketches like this. I chose to post this one in particular because it was the best in my opinion. ^^
