   Heehee, sorry!
Heehee. ^_^; Sorry for not updating this in a while. Nothing much interesting has happened. Well apart from one of my friends breaking a light with his sabre during fencing.
But what I really want to talk about today is what I've been doing in school. ^_^ First, today was the first day of Student Aid. It's a bit of 'community service' that my school requires us to do. Pretty much what it is, is all the 8th graders go to different teachers around the school and help them out. I help out this 2nd grade teacher called Miss Rubin. My job is to pretty much help the kids with their creative writing. It's a lot of fun. :)
Secondly, I've got a part in my school play!!! We're doing Bye Bye Birdie and I'm Mrs. MacAfee. Isn't that so cool?!?!

   Amazon gift cerficates rule
When I was recording all the interesting stuff I got for Christmas I forgot to put in that I got a $20 gift certificate from amazon.com. Well yesterday I used it to get a subscription to Anime Insider and get the second Inuyasha movie, The Castle Beyond the Looking Glass. I can't wait to get them! If anyone's read Anime Insider, could you tell me how they like it? And could you guys tell me how you liked the movie too? I don't want a description of it, just if you thought it was really good, better than the first one, whatever. (I want to know if it was better than the first one a lot.)

   All's Well that Ends Well
Well here's the end to the fencing tournement story. I lost the argument this morning and my mom told me I had to go. So my dad drove me to the place where it was at and it turned out to be an Elk's Lodge! Isn't that weird? Then, we walk into the room where we sign in and the line went ALL THE WAY AROUND THE ROOM!! And the room was pretty large too. But anyway, we waited in line for about 15 minutes. I was getting more and more irritated as time went by. Finally I asked dad for his cell phone and called mom. After another 15 minutes of talking to her (and the line had barely moved during this half hour) mom finally gave in and she agreed that I didn't have to compete.
If you think the story's over then you're wrong! We were driving home and this guy started to pull out from an intersecting street. It didn't turn into anything too sereous like a crash or something, but the guy honked at us and gave us the middle finger. I thought it was pretty funny because things like that just don't happpen that often around us.

   Fencing
I haven't said this before, but I'm really into fencing. I fence foil (a type of weapon). Even though I haven't been to many tournements, I have a lesson everyday on the weekdays and on Thursdays I have two lessons pretty much back to back. (I'm not sure how I manage to do my homework on those days. ^_^;)
But anyway, as you probably know (if you don't you're living under a rock) Christmas was yesterday. I'm tired. I stayed up till midnight at a family party. Now my mom's expecting me to go to a fencing tournement at 1 this afternoon. I really don't want to go. Don't get me wrong, I had a lot of fun at the other two bouts I went to, but they weren't the day after Christmas! The few little 5 point bouts would be fun, the first two at least. I don't think I could do anymore than that without falling asleep. But then there's the 15 point bout... x.x Must I say any more?? Oh yeah, and if I win that bout then I get to have another 15 point bout! -.-;;;
I've got a bit of a chance to talk my mom out of making me go. Wish me luck!
