Musak
Fell asleep during Japanese class today. Now, before you grab the pitchforks and torches, I was tired, man. That's not what I wanna talk about today, though. Really, the subject is anime music, because that aspect of the show is important to me. An anime can win me over with its opening song alone. That's what happened with Cowboy Bebop, anyhow.
So the question I pose today is: What are your three favorite anime opening songs of all time? Here's mine(well, mine actually goes to five, gomen nasai ^_^;):
"Tank!"-Cowboy Bebop
"Cruel Angel Thesis"-Neon Genesis Evangelion
"Forever"-Elemental Gelade
"Obsession"-.hack//Sign
"A Thousand And One Nights"-.hack//Liminality(second episode)
Just 'cause I like to go all out, here are my four favorite endings songs:
"Ride On Shooting Star"-FLCL
"Kaze Wa Mirai Ni Fuku"-Trigun
"Tasogare No Umi"-.hack//Liminality
"Sexy Sexy"-Ghost Stories
Returning... With A Vengeance!
Once again, I'm back. The fiasco from last time settled nicely; I didn't miss anything important. Now this time I'm back at ASU because I got picked to be in Upward Bound's summer program, which is going to have English, Math, and, get this, Japanese courses. Okay, the only thing I'm exicted about is learning Japanese. It's probably just going to be rudimentary Japanese, you know, the basics and extra stuff. There's another thing, though. It's a summer program so we stay in the dorms. Its almost like actually going to college basically, which is cool, but I'm walking everywhere, and I'm a big dude and this is Arizona, so... you get the idea. Nevertheless, I'm liking the whole deal. Now I've got to email my mom, so later. Yeah, I'm a momma's boy, so sue me. Heh, Later.
Note: If you have time, listen to my entire song. The Mars Volta always have good endings, and they don't disappoint with this one. Later. Comments (5) |

Okay, This Is Starting To Suck...
I don't think I have explained this in detail, but the only reason I'm back on on a weekly basis is that I'm part of this program called Upward Bound that's for high school students, and they meet at ASU (Arizona State University) almost every Saturday for the academic school year, and there are a lot of computers... with Internet. You do the math. Okay, so because this is the last Saturday they are meeting this school year, the seniors in the group were going to do this presentation somewhere else other than where we usually meet. But I came late, so I don't know where anyone is. So I went to the nearest info desk, which is at the Memorial Union, and I got to the room where, supposedly, the meeting was to take place. But no one was in there. So now I'm in a place called Coor Hall, which is right above where we usually meet, and I'm using a PC (obviously). Oh, crap, I've got to cut this short. I've just spotted the group. Thank God!! Later. Comments (1) |

One of my favorite quotes from Anchorman up there. (I'm laughing even now as I type.) My sister wants to buy me a car for my 16th birthday, which is--*whew!*-- just around the corner. For some reason, I don't wanna drive, though. Which is funny, because my dad didn't learn how to drive until my mom taught him. I don't want to go to that extreme, though. Actually, I don't even want that much for my birthday. All I want is to skip school for a day to go see Spider-man 3 with my mom and get the new Pokemon game. Pretty humble, huh? (And extremely geeky...)

Wait For It, Wait For It... Okay, I'm Back
Well, in the two weeks that have passed, I've seen Monster House, Let's Go To Prison, Silent Hill, the latest two Harry Potter movies, and Borat. All were great except Harry Potter, which has declined steadily. Comments (4) |

OMFG Where The F*** Have I Been??!!
Yes, it is me. Hold your applause, please ^_^. Well, how long has it been. About a century ago, maybe? But enough about the past, now on to tha future!!
Okay, first off, I was able to read the entire Love Hina manga. Long overdue, that one. Second, has anyone ever seen Happy Feet? I love computer animation automatically, but that movie blew my mind, man. Suh-weet. Thirdly, there's a bunch of new anime I have to ask if anyone's heard of. Does Gilgamesh, This Ugly Yet Beautiful World, Genshiken, Eureka Seven(!!), Moon Phase, or Elemental Gelade ring a bell? Lastly, I am glad to be posting again, which will probably be on Saturdays from now on. You have no idea how good it feels to be back. Jet Black forever, suckas!!!
