Craftworld Miel'sha - chapter IX
Ugh...everybody is after me. At the play one person(much stronger than i) told me to sit down, and another(also stronger that i) told me to stand up and not to take that s**t. So i was standing up and siting down, and one was hitting my arm, the other was grabbing my neck and strangling me. And today everybody was hitting me. I have no feeling in my right arm! I need to take self defense lessons or something so people don't bother me. he's my story, which i know wont hit me.
The Chaos Lord stood there, a demeaning, maniacal look in his battle hungry eyes. He was massive, atleast 7 1/2 feet tall. His armor encompassed all but his head. On his backpack, which provided some power to his armor, were three spikes sticking out, each mounted with heads of past victoms. Hopefully theirs would not be included. His Chaos power armor was very thick, and powered by nano machines and other technologies, to the point that it had a mind of it's own. His hands were power claws, able to rip through thin armor plating. He unsheathed a sword, that looked rather strange. It curved left and right, and faces could be seen on it. Apparentally whatever the sword killed, that victem's soul would be imprisoned in it. The Lord pointed the sword to them, and spoke something in his foul, gutteral language. The team broke left and right, and the Lord charged them. The rangers took up firing positions in the trees, and the gaurdians, with their supernatural speed, managed to barely dodge his attacks. One gaurdian stuttered, and was immediatly hacked down by the huge sword. His waystone tryed to save his spirit, but the sword was stronger, and absorbed it. The rangers continued to fire their long rifles, but to little effect. The shuriken simply bounced off his unholy armor. Another guardian was cut down, his spine flying out his stomach, and landing on the ground with a splash of blood. The lord continued his dance of death, his eyes a burning orange, that made him look even deadlier. The guardians continued firing their weapons while doging the attacks. One lucky hit severed a power cable, and his sword arm fell to the ground. But he simply tossed the sword to his other hand and continued to attack, with a renowed vigor. Another hit on one of his power cables from Al'thae, and the area of impact detonated, and blew out a chunk of his armor. Extremely frustrated, and seeing that he was slowly loosing the battle, he pulled out a melta bomb. Usually attached to vehicles to destroy them in a burst of magma, he threw it at the guardians, who had been recently fighting at the base of the trees, where the rangers were. Auriel, seeing that that bomb would kill them all, grabbed it and sprinted at the Lord.
"Auriel! What the hell are you doing!?" screamed Al'thae. The Lord was caught completely of guard, and Auriel shoved the melta bomb in his face. She quickly looked back to her squad, and a single silver tear flowed down her cheek. She motioned with her lips to say "Al'thae, I love you." And then the bomb detonated. |

Craftworld Miel'sha - chapter VIII
oh no! i missed a day! well, to recap on yesterdays events, nothing special, except i saw a school play that one of my friends was in. The play was boring, about a magical horse of seven colors (it sucked) and today, same old, same old...i had 2 hours of math in the morning...(it also sucked) and yesterday i forgot how to pronounce the word "comfortable" i thought it was pronounced comftable (comf-table)
yup, pretty sad. now my story.
The team took up firing positions around the prison chamber, and put the prisoners in cover. They protested, saying they want to fight, but were denied that request do to their injured and tired state. The first chaos marine emerged from around the corner, gun blazing, but was immediatly mowed down by the eldar. More and more came out, all being slaughtered, until the number of corpses almost blocked the entrance. After the last one was destroyed, they moved back the way they came. As they appraoched the exit, they saw a massive shadow of a man, and emerged to find something that would take all their strength combined to defeat...a Chaos Lord.
once again, i stop abruptly since i have lots to do, and i violin lesson soon.
quik reference: Horus Herecy and Chaos:
This all takes place in the 41st millenium, and the Imperium of man has stood for that long. But 10,000 years before this, was the Horus Herecy, Where legions of Men betrayed the Emperor, and turned to the evil that is Chaos. A bloody, brutal civil war was fought, and the Imperium was aided by the Eldar in this conflict. The forces of Chaos were defeated, and retreated to the Eye of Terror, a swirling cluster of planets that looks like a small, purple and black galaxy, even though it is much to small to be one. Chaos is lead by their god, Slaanesh, and Abadon the Despoiler, and other gods and stupid Chaos SOBs. |

Craftworld Miel'sha - chapter VII
yay, i'm still at home cause i leave to school late today! Some parent teacher thingy in the morning. Horray for leaving late! Oh, and i can't see the animated pics on my site. I can't see Kenshin sleeping, doind his sword play, or Ryo-okie with the carrots. Can you see these?
I NEED TO KNOW!!
The Marines were caught completely off guard. Volley after volley of shuriken ammo fire cut down the marines. Heads went flying, torsos exploded, limbs were severed. Even their highly protective body armor could not stop the microscopic shards of shuriken. One chaos marine managed to fire a round into the bushes, but only one. He was torn to shreds by shuriken. his entire body was completely evisorated. His enhanced organs spewed across the ground, and his blood splattered his fellow marines. And then it was over. The guardians and rangers moved out of cover, and made sure everyone was dead. The team moved into the tunnel. They went down a winding staircase, until they reached what appeared to be a communications room. "Look at this!" yelled Al'thae.
"What is it?"
"It's a map...leading to some underground cavern...and at the end, theres some relic...of great and ancient power."
"Keep that map"
They headed out of that room, and soon enough, came to the kitchen.
"These idiots call this food?"
"This food is not worthy of a bug!"
"who gives a damn about the crappy food, we have to find the prison block."
They moved on through the underground base, until they heard a moaning around the next corner. They peered around it to find who they had come for. "YES, it's the prisoners!"
"Ugh...what?..." moaned a prisoner.
"Were here to help."
"The keys....over there..."
And sure enough, there were the keys, resting on a metal hook.
*fidling with keys* "Which one is it?"
"Try them all."
"The silver one..."
moaned yet another prisoner.
*unlocking cell door*
"Brothers, we have found you."
"We thought we were goners" Said a healthier prisoner.
"But in our time here, we overheard the guards talking about something...evil. In a cave somewhere on this planet."
"Yes, I do believe we found the map for that."
At that moment the alarm was sounded, and footsteps were heard coming closer to their position.
quick referance: shuriken weapons
All eldar guardians, dire avengers, and rangers use shuriken weapons, as do some of their combat vehicles. Shuriken is a small crystal like substance, and in weapons, tiny, microscopic shards of it are cut, and propelled through the barrel. But these weapons tend to be rather unacurate, due to the lack of rifling on the barrel.
These are the weapons that use shuriken:
shuriken pistol- higher ranked eldar, that i'll discuss later, will use this weapon. Basically an officers pistol, so to speak.
shuriken catapult- strange name, but the basic rifle-type weapon used by guardians and dire avengers.
shuriken cannon- fires massive hails of shuriken at the enemy, cutting down squad after squad with shuriken deadliness.
ranger long rifle- used by most rangers; basically an eldar sniper rifle. |

Craftworld Miel'sha - chapter VI
YAY, i saw Monty Python and the Holy Grail last night! funniest movie ever! if you havn't seen it, then get to it!
The party peered through the bushes and trees to the crash site. There was a sentry tower, a couple barraks, a tunel leading into an underground base, Three artillery pieces, a Rhino transport, and about 40 Chaos marines.
"Well, how do you propose we get in?"
asked Auriel.
"We rangers do this for a living. We sneak in, set explosives on the artillery and the tank, and go hide. Once we detonate them, we pick off the remaining marines from our cover." Said Shiek.
"Ok, let's do this."
The band of rangers activated their cameleoline cloaks, so they would perfectly blend in to the environment. Shiek motioned for one ranger to get up into the enemy sentry post, take out the guard, and whistle if they where spotted. The band moved in slowly through the less heavily guarded back entrance, and they took cover behind a barraks. Shiek motioned for the two demolition experts to move in place. They scanned the area, making sure they hadn't been noticed. They then placed the explosives on the Rhino and artillery, and retreated back into the trees, as did the ranger in the sentry tower. "Ok, the explosives are set, once we detonate them, we pick off those fools. Got it?" Shiek said through her comlink.
"Yeah, yeah, got it. It's not that hard to understand, you know?"
BOOM!!! that was followed by three more consecutive booms. The rangers and guardians opened fire.
sorry i have to stop there, but i'm in a hurry. I'm leaving to go to my dad's soon, and still have to play my violin and eat lunch. I'll have to continue tomorrow.
Bye for now! |

Craftworld Miel'sha - chapter V
yay, saturday! and i've noticed less and less poeple come to my site. my comments for my last few posts went from 9 to 5 to 3 to 2 to 1. well...whatever, here's chapter 5
After the grooling chore of burying our dead, we headed out to find those foul minions. "I've seen this tree before" Al'thae said in a dazed and tired voice.
"And I've seen you shut up before, perhaps you can do it again!" said Auriel in an impatient voice. "He's right though, we've been walking in circles" said another.
"Will you all stop complaining!!!"
"Sorry, can't, it's my job" Al'thae siad as a sarcastic remark.
"Don't make me hurt you Al'thae, because I will if you don't shut the hell up."
*silence*
"What I thought, keep it that way."........."Stop, I hear something..." The squad peered through the bushes to see some blury shaded figures, for it was dusk, and the lack of light made it hard to see the exact figure. "1...2...3!!" The squad leaped out of the bushes, melee weapons drawn. "Stop!!" said a voice, likely from the other group. The sqaud almost fell flat on their faces when they heard that. "well, I'll be damned, how'd you guys end up here?" asked Auriel. "We were banished from our Craftworld long ago, and came here."
It was a band of rangers, experts at disguise, espionage, and the art of death.
"Some of us were captured by Chaos marines when we had our guard down. We took out many of them, but they overwhelmed us with shere numbers. We escaped, but some of our other comrades were not so lucky..."
"Indeed, they horribly mutated."
"How do you know of this?"
"because...they attacked us. We had no choice but to destroy them..."
"hmmmm... I see. What's done is done, now we just wish for vengeance."
"As do we. Our Craftowrld was recently destroyed by a Chaos fleet, and we wish to avenge the souls lost. Do you know if any of our kind of escape pods have crashed on this planet?" Auriel sayed in an excited voice. "Yes, we did find one pod of the sort, but it is heavily gaurded by a large force of Chaos. They might have taken prisoners from it, or killed them."
"Then take us there." Auriel said in a demanding tone.
"Why are there so many Chaos on this planet? What are they really here for?" she thought to herself.
"By the way, my name is Shiek, and these poeple here are what's left of my band. What is yours?"
"Auriel, and this is my sqaud."
"OK, Auriel, let's go open up a can of
wupp-ass."
"I think you have been in this jungle too long."
"He."
With that closing remark, the new band headed to the pods crash site, hoping their friends there are still alive. |

Craftworld Miel'sha - chapter IV
It was impossible to stop the first casualty. The shot had rang out of nowhere, and pierced the pilot of the crashed pod in the chest. His upper torso was immediatly turned into a mist of blood, and he fell to the ground...dead. The squad ran back to the pod for cover. Some ran inside, others behind it. They were pinned down by fire from nine separate places in the tree line. The gaurdians could not pinpoint the location, but Al'thae looked over the pod, fired his gun randomly to where he saw a muzzle flash. He was rewarded with a corpse falling down through the trees and onto the hard earth.
"One down, eight to go." he said. "Don't get cockey, we still gotta take the rest out." Auriel siad as she returned fire.
One gaurdian tossed a plasma grenade into the trees. It exploded, and the amount of fire at them decreased. Seeing that, a few more guardians tossed plasma grenades. The area they were firing at erupted in a plume of plasma and smoke, and the firing ceased. The gaurdians emerged from their cover and cautiously moved to the trees, or what was left of them. They surveyed the carnage, and then the first body was found. And another, and another, until all nine were acounted for. "Khaine, forgive us." This was followed by multiple *gasps*. The corpses were not that of hostile aliens, but that of their own kind, to a certain extent. They had been horribly mutated, such as extra limbs, eyes, and in their expression, a look of retarted defiance. One gaurdian took of his helmet and vomited on the ground. "Dear Khaine, what has become of these poor souls?" Questioned Auriel. There were no leads to go by, except one. "I've seen this before." said the oldest gaurdian, Men'sha. "It is what those foul minions of Chaos do to those who turn to them, or those they capture." "Are you sure?" asked someone. Men'sha reached down and pulled down one of the deceased rangers cloaks, revealing his chest. On it was branded the hideous mark of Chaos...
"This can't be, our people are immune to the effects of Chaos, as long as they have their dreamstone."
"Well, these ones don't."
"Could they have been removed?"
"immpossible, once a dreamstone is implanted in your forehead, it cannot be removed."
"Then the only explanation is that they never got one."
"yes, strangly enough. Perhaps they were banished from their Craftworld before they recieved one."
"I guess so, it's the only explanation I can think of."
"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go find those Chaos bastards that did this!"
"No! we must first bury our fallen comrades, then we will look for the Chaos fools, hoping they're still on this planet. Come on, let's begin."
quick reference-Dreamstones:
Dreamstones are fused into a young eldar's forehead during a special ritual. It is quite painful. it may feel like your forehead was just burned by a hot coal.
These dreamstones are small and red, but they do have a purpose aside from making you look sexy. They protect against the influence of Chaos. This pull is very strong, and all eldar must resist it, lest their soul be devoured by Slaanesh, the Chaos god of pleasure. |

Craftworld Miel'sha - chapter III
Well, another day. But in the morning stuff happened. Right in front of the school there was a HUGE branch that had fallen off a tree, and was on the sidewalk. And then there was a dog/husky looking thingy walking around the school entrance. I bet some stupid kid will take a dance with fate, and the dog will bite his hand off or something.
Everywhere arount Al'thae, warning lights were flashing and other warning indicators were buzzing and huming. The re-entry flaps had decintegrated upon the impact of the shockwave. Now all they had left to land with where the air breaks, but that hardly helped their dire situation. "Brace for impact!" yelled the pilot, as they careened toward the ever approaching ground.
SMASH!!! the pod scraped along the surface of the alien soil. (or as iggy would say: surfacerface...remember iggy? surfacerface? 5th grade?) The pod came to an abrupt halt, and the crew exited. "anyone injured?" asked Auriel. She was happy to here a bunch of dazed nos. Al'thae scanned his suroundings. It was better than he'd hoped. Lush, green grass, rolling hills, trees with hopefully edible fruits, a clear blue sky surrounding a big orange sun, and a huge lake. "paradise..." siad Al'thae, as he started to walk toward one of the native trees. It blossomed glororious yellow and white flowers, and from it grew large, slightly mishapen red fruits. Al'thae plucked one, and bit down into it. "Delicious!" he yelled. "Al'thae, don't be distracted by your stomach, we have to search for other pods that might of landed here." said Auriel. "and where exactly is here?" said the pilot of the pod. "Well, let's go find out, shall we?" Auriel said back. They went to grab their gear from the pod, and were off. Then Al'thae sensed something move in the tree line a few hundred yards away. "wait, i saw something move in those trees there."
"possible, but we have to move, and i'm sure whatever it is we can take it on."
And somewhere high in the trees, was indeed a creature watching the squad. It peered through the scope of it's own hand-crafted rifle, took aim, and readied to fire... |

Craftworld Miel'sha - chapter II
before i begin, i'd just like to say today sucked. In my last period i was kicked around and treated like crap. Some who did this were my friends! I've got no feeling in my legs after being kicked there so many times! now let's begin.
The gaurdians ran forth to join battle with the enemy, and clashed in a shower of blood and gore. The Chaos Marines never stood a chance against the god-like speed and precision of the Eldar. Marine after marine was cut down in a bloody swath, and the small squad of Eldar fought their way past the Chaos Marines, crushed skulls and cutting them to ribbons with their advanced weaponry. After the battle had been won, the squad continued to escape their doomed home. After dodging falling debrees, and weaving through other wrecks, they finaly made their way to the near end of the Craftworld. the last pod was just leaving as they managed to jump on.
"Where's my brother?" asked Al'thae.
"i don't know. He was following me at one point, but then i lost him and heared a scream behind me." said Auriel.
"damn! Do you think he made it out?"
"i don't mean to be the downer i usually am, but i have my doubts."
The surface of the drop-pod heated as it soared through the atmosphere of an alien world. Behind them, they watched their beloved craftworld fight it's final battle, until some blasted Chaos weapon blew it to smitherenes. But the Chaos fleet did not expect this. The explosion was so massive, that it engulfed their entire fleet. As the shockwave spread through space, it caught up with the small pod. It was nocked back and forth, reeling on the edge of obliteration, but managed to make it out, not unscathed though. The pod descended onto the alien world, their crew hoping the landing would turn out all right. |

Craftworld Miel'sha
well, another day, another...well...nothing i guess. I never get anything in return for the stuff i do around here. I work my ass off in school, then come home to homework, and boredom.
anyway, i noticed alot of people have stories, llike Pex has fast food chronicles, and rustym had something i can't remember.
so here's my story. yay!
The alarm sounded, and Al'thae woke up hitting his nogin on the bed above him, which was empty for some reason. His squad leader came running into the small room saying "get yer gear on, we gotta leave in 5!!"
"what's going on?" said Al'thae.
"the craftworld is under attack by the great enemy! we have to abandone it!"
said the squad leader, Auriel. As Al'thae scrambled to his locker, sleep still evident in his eyes, he geared up, stumbling with the zipper of his undersuit, he grabbed his weaponrey and was out the door.
Al'thae was 120 years old, a mere eye-blink in the life-span his people had, which was near eternity. He had been a Gaurdian for 20 years, and had relativley little experience. BOOM, BOOM!!! The explosion of missiles and other larger projectiles could be heard across the hull of the weakened craftworld. As Al'thae and Auriel made their way to the nearest escape pod, they were encountered by an enemy bording party. But at that exact same moment, some of Al'thea's other squadmates found him, and took a look at the odds of the battle about to comence...
more to follow tomorrow. And i bet half of you didn't quite follow that, so i'll answer any and all question's about it! |
