Man, you look good in a mini skirt.
Alright, today is task filled! I am going to attemp to clean my room. Wish me luck. More than likely I'll put in some movies and sleep all day. X__X I'm tired.
I worked 46 hours this week. Sweet check on Wednesday, I guess. Hoooray, I need one. A sweet check that is.
I watche Mad Hot Ballroom. Other than feeling kind of contrived, I liked it. It's a documentary about 5th graders in the NY public School system learning to ballroom dance and having a competition at the end of the year. It's kind of feel good, but at least it's real in it feel good-y-ness.
I'm going to go buy a wig today. Just a cheapish halloween wig. My green one didn't survive all my moves, so I want a new one. I'm thinking blue.
Wow, there has been nothing of importance to this blogging at all today. I'd like to welcome my new-comers...I love you and you know who you are. Haha, you can't even leave a comment about being loved either. *sticks out tongue* I'll get mine though, I bet.
Work rant:
The people who order movie for the stores are fucking dumb, and let me tell you why. Well, either that or they hate the people who work in stores and the customers they don't have to deal with. Anyway, on with the rant. Batman Begins came out on Tuesday... It was what, the 2nd or 3rd biggest movie of the summer? How many copies did my store get? 78. That's all, 78. They didn't even last through Tuesday. With the No late fees bullshit, we won't see half of them again until next Tuesday when people bring them back to get the new new ones, if we eever see them again at all. Seventy-eight may seem like quite a few, but compare that to 119 of Monster-in -law and 160 of Crash (an excellent movie, but it didn't rake in huge number box office or video) 92 copies of Constantine... What's next, 60 copies of Epi 3? God, I hate stupid people, and I hate it more when they're my bosses. Oh, and PaperClips, a documentary I am dying to see, is BBV exclusive Nov-Jan. No one else can rent it or sell it in that time period. Guess how many we're getting. Three. How Fucking Stupid is that? AAAAAAAGGGGGGGHHHHHHH Why do I have to work for such infuriating people? I guess I could quit. That would be sensible, but finding a new job would npt be easy and I don't need a paycut...I need to look back into school. Alright, rant done.

Jonathan's back in town now.
His vacation is over after this weekend. I've missed him, actually. Not in a store aspect, but in a friendly one. He's one of, like, 8 people I have ever known that gets my sense of humor, and really just me as a person. He's totally great, and desrves a really great girl, and yet he has none. I'm going to find him a girlfriend. No, I'm not, but I still think he deserves a great one.
The store is alright, I haven't burned it down or alienated too many people, I don't think. I worked with Cristina yesterday. She's new and Jeannie was supposed to work, but she had a thing, so they switched. I had scheduled Jeannie because it was Monday, and I needed someone there who knows what's going on, since I would have to leave and do paperwork and not handle customers at all. Instead it was Cristina, and while I really like her, she's still slow and doesn't know all the necessary stuff yet. I spend a good part of my day new-girl-sitting. I wasn't in a ood mood either, and I hope she doesn't think I hate her. I had PMS.
So, Jordan's dad came and went and I never saw him. He mostly came up to work on the house and to put it on the market, I guess. I don't think Jordan saw much of him either, actually, and God only knows what they talked about. I hope a few thing s may have reconciled.

Ugly Bags of Mostly Water
I'm tired. Work today was alright. I actually had a pleasant time with Secilia. I think once I confessed to myself about my negativity yesterday, I can finally get past it. I hope so. I was there longer than I meant to be though. and I am tired now. It's not even 1 am yet, so that's weird.
I was thinking of all the things I want to do tomorrow on my day off, and the list just keeps getting longer. I'm not sure if I'm really that busy, or if I'm just a procrastinator. Mostly I want to clean my house.
Did I mention Jordan's dad called? His parents haven't spoken to him since we decided on adoption. He'll be in town Sunday and Monday. Totally caught me off-guard, and now I want a clean house, just in case Jordan brings him by. That and my house is so dirty. I hate it, and yet I am too engrossd in TV or books to do anything about it. Shameful. That damn box is going to be the death of civilization. If not Civilization, then me, at least. And I'm as cool as civilization.
HA! SO, when I was like 9, I first saw The Warriors on TBS or Starz or somewhere. At the age of 9, I fell in love with the gang members that all dressed alike, and fought like they were dancers instead of bangers. It was on SPIKE TV tonight. I still love it, and the guy who plays SWAN, well, his acting isn't great, but he was attractive enough, he should have had more of a career.
Tomorrow I am going to watch Unleashed with Jet Li. I love him and I can't believe he's like 41 or 42. He's so pretty.
I finished the Zombie Survival Guide. Fun book. My favorite part is the end section with reprts of "actual outbreaks" within that my favorite is the one with the gang members...some of you know what I'm talking about. *wink* I've started Eregon. I'm like 7 pages in. I tried starting it at work, bad idea.
I watched some of Excel Saga, and it's silly. I think I like it, but I find Excel herself a bit much. It's scatterbrained and that seems to be what I like right now. I don't know why. Look at the robot, for gods sake...
Who wants to go shoe and jewelry shopping to go with THE DRESS?? I also need to pick out Jordan's wedding band. He wants something plain, but I need to find just the right one. It'll be fun. Everyone from Evil's site, we're all dating, you're coming along.

Boo hoo hoo
Well, I came to a realization today. The same one I've had about 50 times before. I am a really negative person, and I don't like who I am right now. Everything and everyone at work pisses me off, even if it shouldn't and I hate a lot of stuff that I probably shouldn't. I realize I'm never going to be a barrel of sunshine, but REALLY, I don't want to hate and be mad at everything! That's stupid.
So, I got an email from a my friend, Sarah, letting me know Megan, another juco friend of mine was looking for a way to contact me. I was super excited because I had just been thinking about Megan a couple of days beforehand. I gave permission to give her my email and stuff, and now I am just waiting to hear from her. I've missed her super lots. I miss social interaction period. They have blogs on Xanga. I have an acct there just to comment on my friends who have them there. Everyone I ever met seems to be on there. Megan gave me a comment to fill her in on my life, but being as there are so many people I know there, I am hesitant to post my life account over there. I really just want to call her or send her an email so as to avoid all people knowing everything. I'm just guarded.
Looking at the accts of the people I used to know, I was seized by this nostalgia that I haven't been able to shake all day. I even dreamed about them all last night. I miss them, and I'm not sure what that really means. I miss who we all used to be, including myself. There are semblances of ourselves in the people we are now, but it's not the same. Never again will I have my hippie chick, or my silly comic or my sweetie... They all seem lost to me.
There is a friend that I met in juco, and she was wonderful, and she may still be. I haven't talked to her in like 4 years almost. I dislike her husband. He is every negative stereotype of a bible thumper: closed-minded and self-rightous and other hyphenated things. Jordan and she were really close at one point, but at a later point, she evidentally told someone or someones something personal about him that was none of her business to tell and now he won't even talk about her. I am not allowed to invite her. I want to, but then she'd bring her husband and Jordan and I would both hate people who are attending our wedding. That doesn't need to happen. In other wedding news, we can't find Chad. He's Jordan's best friend, and his phone is turned off and he has moved and we don't know where he is. He's supposed to be Jordan's best man. I need him!
I took a huge chunk out of my hand yesterday. It fucking hurts. BOO. It's also slightly infected, it's warm to the touch ans red as hell. Hell really needs a new decorator, red is not a great color.
My sister's kids have the Flu, and it was Nathan's birthday today. No one should have the flu on their birthday. I think he turned 4...maybe 5. hmmmm

So, I am currently obsessed with Invader Zim and especially GIR. I have altered my site to show it too... I'm a dork, AND YOU LOVE IT! Fuckers.
I saw Serenity yesterday. It was good. Really good. I really like Firefly too, but I can't afford the DVDs at this point. God, Christmas is coming up. I better not buy anything else for myself for a while. Anyway, back to Serenity... I wanna be a ninety pound bad ass. Hell, I could be bigger, as long as I am still a badass. I also want a spaceship. BUY ME ONE, NOW!!
I ordered the dress. Yes, THE DRESS. It can be viewed (on a model) here I love it. you should too.
Discovery has new Deadliest catch on, but now it's called Dealiest Season. I think it's shorter too, not a full season. I love that show. I also love It Takes a Thief, where these 2 ex-burglars "rob" someone's house to show them how poorly they have it defended. It's done with their consent, of course, and the owners get a complete security "make over" afterwards. But man some of those fuckers are dumb. Leaving keys in unlocked cars and such...
Jonathan's on vacation this week. Molly's in charge! Take that, everything. I spent 5 hours in a manager meeting yesterday. Getting paid tomorrow. That's awesome. Love getting paid.
I'm getting flowers figured out, but I still need to figure out where to have this damn wedding in the first place!

My kitty came home this morning. I am so relieved. I was afraid he'd been run over or taken away or something. He's never stayed out so long before. Welcome home, Kyo.
I found a couple of gowns that I liked on Friday and my mother and I are going to look at them again today. We'll see about some pictures of what I pick out. After alterations and such...

Here I come, ready or not.
I'm not sure this will be one either, actually. I have not been up to much, actually. Let me think....
I went to Manhattan, and I think I had a good time, though I remeber very little of it. It was super awesome to see my friends. THe hangover during work the next day ws less than fun, though. BOO hangovers.
Last week was pretty uneventful, really. Mostly work and the gym. I got weighed and measured for the month today. Over the last month I've lost 3.75 inches off my body, icluding an inch off my very problematic hips. That news mmakes me happy.
Jonathan goes on vacation as of this Saturday... That leaves me in charge. Maybe I'll fire everyone. Maybe not. I swear, I am never going to feel bad about Secilia and her lack of hours again... The girl whines and whines about not working enough, but when called to cover a shift or asked to stay late she always says, "no," not to mention she always asks to be the one to go home early if it's slow... Well, fuck her. I don't give a shit. She's a thorn in my side...
A not-so-small Secilia rant. I used to really like Secilia. She was a good worker, and she got along well with people. She got a crush on Jonathan, the store manager. Secilia has a boyfriend, now she atually has a fiance, and yet she has this obsession with Jonathan... SHe would call him everyday, and then show up at the places he likes to hang out. She would also tell the other employees that it was the other way around, Jonathan would always invite her to do stuff, and she would have to say no, and try to show people that she was The Favorite, even though that is not the case at all. (though that manefsted itself later)
When another employee left, she was moved up to a shift manager position. This was the biggest mistake I ever made. Yes, it was my mistake. I am the one who promoted her, and I did it over another employee because I thought her customer skills were better. For some reason, I think she attributed her early promotion to Jonathan, and became very abusive of her power. She likes to try and tell people what to do and then sit at the desk and do nothing. She is always trying to spy on what I'm doing, like she wants to steal my job from me... She likes to tell the CSRs that she's aobve them, and they need to listen to her... It's incredible bullshit. She doesn't pull that shit when I work with her... It's sorrowfully hilarious, On Tuesdays, she works with Jonathan, and without fail, she will always be within 5 feet of him, and if she's not the moment someone else approaches him, she's RIGHT THERE. God, I want to punch her in her stupid cunt-face... and tell her fiance...
So, due to the ugly shoplifter last month, we lost our employee rental priviledges... We did inventory on Saturday and we weren't missing anything else, so we got them back. Monday we got the score of the secret shopper that had visited the store over the weekend. If you score below 85% Jonathan and I lose our bonuses and the store loses their rentals again. I drilled it at the weekend crew that we needed a good score. SECILIA did not suggestively sell to the secret shopper. That question is the MOST IMPORTANT and worth enough to destroy the shopper score. Now because of her I get no bonus and no free rentals for a month... I hate her.
My mommie came over on Saturday and we did some wedding shopping. We bought silk flowers for the bouquets and tried on gowns. I cannot find one similar to the one I want. I don't want to go to Davids. I actually went inot hte store one day and not a single person even said hello to me. Fuckers. See if you need my business. It was fun, and I love my Mommie.
I am going to see my maid of honor on Friday. It'll be so much funness!
I have to go to work now though. Night, kiddies.

No, I'm not, but I am still quoting Grr from invader Zim. I need a funny little malfunctioning robot that eats everything.
So, I tried to watch Monday night football last night, but the Chiefs were killing themselves. Denver didn't have to do anything, the chiefs helped them out so much with a very high level of suckage! I'm so glad it's football season. I LOVE IT.
I went to buy wine last night, and I am so excited. I found this Australian winery named The Little Penguin. THE WINE HAS A PENGUIN ON ITS LABEL. I have not opened it or drank it yet, so I don't know how it tastes, but it makes me happy.
Some sort of stomach bug is going around town. I think Jordan and I both have mild cases. Boo! The wine will kill it, right? heh
I'm going to see a movie this afternoon, but I don't know if I want to go see Corpse Bride or Emilt Rose today. I shall see them both, mark my words... but today, which one?!?!?!?
