So, a lot of people are talking about Otaku Awards... I wanted to do some nominating, but I just don't feel like I have been active in enough forum, reading or posting... to do so fairly. I have a few in mind...but I can't fill in enough of the fields to bother with the thread... I thought that I would take this opportunity to just give a mention to some member of OB I have come to appreciate in my time there.
Dagger: Wow, that girl is really knowledgeable about her stuff, and she's really nice to everyone. Even if she disagrees with you, she is so cordial about it. I pay dues to the Dagger fan club.
BabyGirl: A really sweet individual. She has great posts, and her mO is interesting. She posts some really great pictures too.
Queen Asuka: A good mod, she's the one I noticed at first doing mod things... I also really like things she posts, and she has always been nice to me when I've contacted her about something.
Tony: I would write his screen name, but I always butcher the spelling. I just think he seems like a REALLY cool person. He has great taste in music and fun avitars... He also seems really intelligent and is another poor college student, much like myself. Plus, I love Wrapped in Platic, it's just an awesome looking site.
Poison Tongue: As everyone can see in my sig, I am VP of the committee to make him a mod. He seems an intelligent man, and he backs up his opinions, of which he has many, with facts... He's quite a fun read.
duorock17: She doesn't post a lot, but I talk to her a lot outside OB. She's an awesome person.
Solo Tremaine: I used to look through the Yu Gi Oh threads quite a bit and he's just awesome... as a person and his posts (mostly mO for me) are interesting. I visit his mO almost everyday.
MillieFan: She's really the first person who made me feel welcome at OB. She responded to one of my Trigun posts, and we tried to raise the quality level in that thread together, but it was a losing battle.
Well, that's it for now... and remember, this is just OB, not mO...that would be a completely different list.

mmm, home again... I had dinner with my coworkers tonight, and it was nice. We went to Carlos Okelly's and Buck gave us Sam goodie gift cards for Christmas, only a little late. Since the restuarant is in the mall, we all promptly went to spend them. I used mine to buy a Serial Experiments Lain Vol 1 DVD. good stuff so far. Then a bunch of us hung out for a while, but I am home now, drinking coffee.
Work was ok today. We got a new guy and I was training him. He did alright, and he's pretty nice. He gets a thunbs up so far.
I splurged when I was buying... oops. I bought a 4 disc set of Record of Lodoss War...I was going to buy the Indiana Jones boxed set next week... It may have to wait a bit longer.

What a day... I worked, yippee. Then I got home and Lindsay had actually cleaned the living room!!! Yayness!!! So, I will do the dishes...
I got home from work and promptly left my house again. I cut my hair... 5 inches!! A needed relief if you ask me. After that I went to the book store and bought Full Metal Panic manga Vol1 and 2! Yay!
Then I went to see Cold Mountain and it was really good. Some woman was weeping in the theatre...hmmmmm.
Eventful day I guess, how was yours?

A few days gone, but back again... Lindsay's home again, so I am not all alone.
I've been doing laundry and cleaning all day... and watching movies in between. Good times!
I've been really busy, but with nothing too important to report. Lots of work and being sick, and KSTATE got their asses handed to them at the bowl game...grrrr!
I've been hanging out with people, but tonight I am bored and I can't hold still...BOOKS, that's what I need to be paying attention to right now... I'm going to read a book! I say this as if it's a new concept... Later

Vicious
Not the villan, my Flu... It was absolutely vicious for about 14 hours, since that point I can take in stuff, but I'm really sore and tired. I am supposed to work 2 til 10 tonight, and I am going to be completely useless! I should just sleep some more, but I need to disinfect the house before Lindsay comes home today so she doesn't get it. I called her yesterday to warn her that I had it. I'm glad that it was just a 24 hour bug, if I had to get it.
On to other news, I am better on all fronts... Jordan and I are OK, though I fear he'll come down with the Flu today. oops. I got tons of gifts, and I got to see my family, but they gave me the Flu...Ah well, every silver lining, right?
Ok, well, now I am mentally and physically better! Molly's Back, and I hope for good!
