::I Can See Clearly Now, by Johnny Nash::
I can see clearly now, the rain is gone,
I can see all obstacles in my way
Gone are the dark clouds that had me blind
It’s gonna be a bright (bright), bright (bright)
Sun-Shiny day.
I think I can make it now, the pain is gone
All of the bad feelings have disappeared
Here is the rainbow I’ve been prayin?for
It’s gonna be a bright (bright), bright (bright)
Sun-Shiny day.
Look all around, there’s nothin?but blue skies
Look straight ahead, nothin?but blue skies
I can see clearly now, the rain is gone,
I can see all obstacles in my way
Gone are the dark clouds that had me blind
It’s gonna be a bright (bright), bright (bright)
Sun-Shiny day.

::Work vs. Monkey Orange vs. School::
Yep. I can totally relate to Ichigo [Bleach] in the above picture.
Sorry guys, I'm going to nap for awhile until I can regain some strength ^^;; My sincere apologies, BUT I promise that this will only be a nap. I won't be dead.
Why, you ask?
~Intense school curriculum -- my 2nd year of pharmacy school
~20 hours working at the hospital during every other weekend
~Teaching Assistant for a pharmacy class
~Chairwoman of an outreach program & thus, must organize events
~Etc.
*hugs*
I won't be updating soon, but I will come by and check up on y'all. I promise. Just give me some time.

::Monkey Orange vs The Steve-man::
What can I say? My weekend was NOT exciting because I had to work – to work with the Steve-man. LOL!!! Nah, working with the Steve-man was not as bad as I thought it would be ^^;;
In fact, I kinda like the Steve-man [pharmacist-wise] even though he IS quite intimidating. Again, he gave me his rare encouraging words most likely because I looked like I needed them ^^;; But yes, I think that I can learn lots from the Steve-man – I just need to work up the courage to ask him questions withOUT being “annoying” – as he emphasized to me numerous times ^^;;
Hehe, I also enjoyed working UPSTAIRs with the Steve-man because I got to wear my official pharmacist garb, my white coat. Additionally, the Steve-man also gave me my very own pharmacist “Mobile” phone, in case he needed to reach me. Yep, I felt cool. The Steve-man also assigned me to roam the halls & gather information from patient charts – which additionally, made me feel cool. LOL!!!
Aside from looking at charts & labs, the majority of my days with the Steve-man were spent on entering orders for medications. Ugh (>_<) Despite the amount of orders that I’ve entered, I am still quite slow. And gosh darnit, I despise doctors with horrible handwriting!!! How can I enter the order if I can’t even read the horrid handwriting! *sighs* The Steve-man said that I must master order entry FIRST, before he teaches me more interesting things. Thus, at the rate I’m at – with reading problems – who knows when I’ll actually get there! *_*
::All in All::
The weekend was okay. I have Monday off from work, and I shall enjoy it, darnit! But…what I should do? Hmm…
Anyways, I hope that you all have a wonderful Monday & week! *^_^*
::EDIT::
Yeah, I just finished watching a few of my fansub episodes & felt like ranting ^^;;
Honey & Clover 18: I LOVE this series!!! And WHOever said that watching fansub is a form of cheating the anime industry is wrong! It IS b/c of these fansubs that I am SO going to purchase this series once & whenever it's released on DVDs *^_^*
Naruto 109: Ack! Sasuke...you...you...pulled and Anikan Skywalker on everyone!!! But then again, I'm NOT surprised that you'd turn to the darkside (>_>) Hmph!

::Monkey Fact::
My first baby word was "Water!"
::Weekday Leftovers::
I had dinner at my relatives’ place on Thursday -- which was nice because they phoned over to Vietnam where my family is currently staying. So, I ended up conversing with my family for a bit over the phone *^_^* The only bad part about Thursday was…the death of my pie – my delicious lemon meringue pie I brought over for dessert DIED when my aunt dropped it face first onto the floor. ^^;; Sadness.
My Friday [yesterday] was incredibly dull. Even though I had the day off from work, I ended up doing…not much of anything. A shame, really ^^;; Now that I think about it, I should’ve…like…driven to the mall or something ^^;; Ah well! Despite that, not ALL of Friday was bad. The Mouse called me, and we conversed for a good while *^_^* It’s always fun talking with him. Thank SO much, Shawn! You are an awesome friend! *^_^*
::Theme Change::
Yes, the monkeys are gone! ^^;; I think that I’ve been overdosing a bit TOO much on the color, pink lately – too much cuteness, you know? I needed a change, well…I was also very bored on Friday too ^^;; But yeah, the theme has changed to that of an anime series that I am currently watching & enjoying, called Yakitate!! Japan. You guys can click on the image for more information about the show *^_^*
Yakitate!! Japan
::All in All::
I will be WORKING this weekend. *sighs* My only wish is for the Steve-man to be nice. ^^;;

::Monkey Fact::
My favorite snacks, of late, include chilled grapes, boiled soybeans, and buttery popcorn mixed with Junior Mints. Yum, yum!
::Sunday Leftovers::
Yeah, my Sunday [yesterday] was quite lazy ^^;; I started the day by watering the plants outside, and then cleaning a few things. Afterwards, I showered & ate, turned on the AC and watched the ending of Edward Scissorhands. I was tempted to watch Planet of the Apes, but…nah!
I realized that with ALL my days off, I haven’t really been watching that much anime. I think the reason for this is because I just DON’T want to sit on my butt and watch stuff, you know? But then again, I usually have nothing to do that I just end up walking or driving around in circles. So yes, I decided to plop my butt in front of my computer & catch up on some anime like a bum ^^;;
My initial plan was to watch one new episode from each fansub series I had – and I have 7 series. I watched down to the 4th series [Naruto] and could NOT move on. I got stuck at a very good arc! I think I ended up watching a good 10 episodes of that series *_* Man… I really wanted to get to One Piece, Saiyuki Reload Gunlock AND Yakitate!! Japan. Ah well! Another day!
ALSO, during all that laziness, I received a special surprise call from The Mouse. *^_^* Yep, yep. We had us some good talking! I wonder if he saved me some Chinese food from last night *^_^* LOL!!!
::All in All::
Not a bad weekend, despite a few things, like:
~ALMOST killing my mum’s plants
~Spending over $100 on underwear & a handbag
~Being a sloth-like, anime watching bum
This work week should be interesting. I am looking forward to working with this week’s pharmacists….but….this coming weekend I must work with…the Steve-man! *_*

::Quickies::
~The plants in the backyard are looking a bit healthier & happier, I think. Although, the problem has shifted from a water issue to a bug issue -- of which I have no idea to address ^^;;
~Frontyard plants are looking very dry. I shall water them today *^_^*
~My brother's parakeet seemed a bit depressed for the past several days -- poor thing. I then decided to put it outside & to enjoy the warm weather. And now, it's back to it's usual chirping self -- well, until I bring it back into the house ^^;;
~I was gonna drive to the beach by myself today, but then...that's really depressing. I wanted to bring my little cousins with me, but their parents didn't want them to go. *sighs*
~So, what will I be doing today? I think I'll clean some things around the house, watch my vampire movies...read some manga...and prepare for work tomorrow. It'll be...a hot day today, too. Lovely.

::Girl's Evening Out::
Yesterday I had dinner with one of my friends from school. She also brought along her friend who is pretty nice. The 3 of us ate at BeniHana -- a Japanese shushi/karoake place *^_^* Mmm...the food was quite yummy.
Afterwards, the 3 of us went shopping -- bad idea! The girls with me were major shop-a-holics, and sadly I was unable to exhibit much restraint from buying stuff ^^;;
I ended up spending over $100 on 2 pairs of underwear, 1 thong, and a handbag ^^;; I mean, I like my purchase but...hehe. Yeah. I've just been spending way too much money this past week with my speeding ticket, ATM withdraws, online purchases, and now this.
Yep, yep. I gotta go on a diet -- a spending diet. Yosh! *^_^*
::The Weekend::
Nope. I haven't a clue what to do this weekend. I guess that I could bum around but that's like...a waste of time ^^;;
All well...I'm certain I'll find something to keep myself busy. *^_^* Like...catch up on my manga reading -- which I'm 4 volumes behind. And...perhaps visit a few relatives so that I'm not totally lonely.
::Plants::
I've noticed that the plants in the front yard are also dying. Now THESE plants simply need water everyday! It's just the backyard veggie plants that are...uh...overwaterd ^^;; Man, I still feel guilty. I'm just hoping that the plants will get better soon. ^^;;
::All in All::
I will try to have a good weekend, and so should you all! And now, I am off for visits, yosh!!!
*hugs*

::Beware, the plant-killer enters::
Okay. I'm feeling very guilty today. I think I have committed a sin -- the sin of killing...plants (>_<) Nooo!!!
So, before they left the country, they ALL stressed for me to water the plants. "Water, water, water...make sure they don't shrivel up and die!"
I've been watering the plants EVERY day since they left, while fearing that they may shrivel.
And then...the leaves started shriveling & turning yellow. The main stem looked dry, as if suffering from a drought. I was like, "Crap! They're shriveling 7 not getting enough water!"
I then fed them more water, and still...they looked dry & even worse. I then hypothesized. Could I be feeding them too much? I research it online, and surely enough the symptoms of overwatering is the plant looks DRY!!!
Crap, crap, crap! I have drowned my mothers garden plants. Her peppers, her beans, and her precious bau!!!
Noo!!!
Dammit! I can't even water plants correctly ^^;;
This is...a very bad omen.
