Blah Like theMouse, I have also been feeling a bit disenchanted with posting on MyO ^^;; Something feels…missing, you know? Ah well! *^_^* Anywho… This Weekend My brother and sister are FINALLY coming back from their competition in Vienna, Austria. Yay! ALSO, my roommate from college will be visiting Portland on the same day when my siblings are arriving into back into the same city *^_^* Thus, I will be leaving for Portland a bit early on Sunday so that I can hang out with her *^_^* Dude, it’s been like 3 years since I’ve seen her! How cool, a visitor! Now…if only I can convince the other roommate to come up to Oregon as well…and then we’ll have the ‘trio’ reunited! Hehe! But…yeah, right! ^^;; Ah well! Perhaps another time! Being Ditched It’s official. My mom has bought the airline tickets for the family trip [minus ME!] to Asia. 3 weeks…alone *_* Dude… Work Goodbye IV Pharmacy for 2 weeks! I will be returning to the daily chaos & insanity of the Outpatient Pharmacy starting this Monday. Good times. Really? *ahem* Have a great weekend, guys!!! P.S. My friend just suggested I check out an anime called Yakitate!! Japan -- a series about a young man’s passion & quest to bake the perfect bread to represent Japan. I know it sounds a bit strange & silly, but I think I’m gonna try it out. I heard it’s pretty funny!

Hi Guys & Gals! One Insane Monkey: Not Today! Yep. My head is definitely feeling better today ^^;; My apologies for dragging y'all into my near nervous breakdown concerning work ^^;; No more! But yes, I DID enjoy those comments from yesterday about being called a caffiene addicting, neurotic, dummy ^^;; No worries! I got a good laugh from it. PLUS, it's true! Well, I don't really drink THAT much coffee. *^_^* A Tennis Playing Monkey? I had my first tennis class yesterday & it was fun and sweaty. I did REALLY well in the beginning, but it diminished quiclky aftewards ^^;; Very sad. HOWEVER, on of the tennis instructor is really CUTE! A boyish-kinda cute, you know? Hehe! I feel like a dirty old woman *^_^* Yeah...he's probably like...5 years younger than me. Ah well! Anime Naruto: My batch download of 76-100 should be done in a few days. Yay! I MUST finish this dramatic insanity! Hmm...well, I never really liked Sasuke much, and I still don't, but I DO like his new all-black outfit. Very nice. As for Gaara, well, I'm kinda feeling more sorry for him than afraid of him. *^_^* Prince of Tennis: AHHHH!!! Gosh darnit, when will the fansubbers [not counting W-Dreamers] come out with the missing gap episodes. Summer is almost half way over, man! Disappointment. The Clouds Have Parted & I see Blue Sky Working Woes: The Last! Hi guys! I know, you’re mostly likely quite sick of reading my woes of work ^^;; But this entry should be the last…for now ^^;; I did a bit of thinking today at work, and have decided that I’ve probably been a bit too hard on myself ^^;; Here was the issue: I do not ask questions at work! Here is my discovered answer: Like hell I don’t! I do ask questions. Heck, I ask them everyday whenever I am unsure about ANYTHING and to make sure that I am doing things correctly! For heavens sake, I make IV bags for sick people. There is just no way I’m going to let my timidness cause harm onto others. Nope! So, what was the problem? Hehe…I was just trying to be smart & perfect. I wanted to ask intellectual-type questions so that I can appear smarter than the other intern. But when I couldn’t find very many questions to ask, I freaked out. Then, I also wanted to learn AND do as much as I can to show my mini boss-lady that I’m a quick learner who can do many things. As it turned out, I don’t necessarily set that particular pace -- it is my mini boss-lady who does so. Apparently she wants me to start out slowly until she feels I’m ready to move on [and when the heck will that be!?!]. My only influence over this is to keeping poking her until she gives in ^^;; I talked to the boss-man about being afraid to poke the mini boss-lady, and he told me it’s okay! *^_^* He WANTS me to poke my mini bosses whenever I can! And…if the mini bosses do NOT like being poked, then he told me to snitch on them ^^;; Hehe! I like my boss man! *^_^* In conclusion, I’ve realized that I am doing things normally, at a normal pace, and being a very normal intern, I think. My problem is that I don’t want to be normal, and was obsessed with trying to make myself stand out from the other smarter intern. And you know what? It’s freaking tiring ^^;; I need to let go of my obsession. I need to accept that it’s okay to start off normally, otherwise I’ll continue freaking out, stressing out, and losing sleep. *deep breaths* And THAT is my resolve. *^_^* Good day & thank you SO much for bearing with me through this drama. I really do appreciate and take into account your guys’ words of encouragement. *^_^* P.S. I start my tennis class today, yosh! *^_^*

Feeling Better, but a Bit Nervous I talked to my mum yesterday about my feelings concerning work & timidness ^^;; She gave me a good encouraging talk, and now I'm feeling a bit better. I have decided to tackle this problem of mine by physically writing down my goals and questions I'd like to accomplished & answered while I'm at work. I will bring these 'writings' to work and discuss them with my superivisors to let them know what I expect from them & myself. I think that doing so will help me to organize my thoughts & goals. How does it sound to you guys? It's not too lame is it? I...I...really need to get the ball rolling. So while I haven't been getting much relaxing & good sleep this weekend, I am looking forward to a fresh start on Monday. At this point, I don't care if I look like a fool anymore. I have to do things my way or else I WILL be at a total loss. *deep breaths* Wish me luck *^_^* Anime Naruto: I'm wrapping up the 3rd season, and everything is going insane!!! *^_^* Arigato, minna-san! Yes, yes, thank you SO much for your birhday wishes and greetings. *^_^* My world will not come crashing down if it wasn't recognized, but I just wanted to let you know that I really do appreciate your kindness & thoughts *^_^* Also, I would like to give extra thanks & appreciation to animegirl-11 and to TheMouse -- the both of them sent me wonderful extra goodies! *^_^* You guys...you guys...are SO nice! *big hugs* Really, you are! Vacation Request: Denied Well...my family is planning a 3-week trip to China & Vietnam in August...and mum REALLY wants me to go...and I want to go too...but...I was DENIED. *sniffle* Work: Confession of a Coward No kidding. I think I'm too cowardly at work to ask questions. I don't deny it. I know it's wrong. And I absolutely hate it! What the hell is wrong me? Why can't I speak up? Am I being too paranoid & obsessed with the other intern [who is much brighter than I], or am I just being too worried, or am I just a lazy coward who can't think beyond the box? Damn...I am SO losing out on this oppurtunity to learn. I am feeling quite unworthy of this awesome job ^^;; I think...I think...I need to be slapped a few times ^^;; Afterwards, I will cry & then listen to a lecture that tells me to get my butt into action. And then, I will feel better. *sighs* Anime Naruto: Rock Lee vs. Gaara: Oh...my...poor...*ahem* Anywho, the preliminary matches are now over. And now...for more training until the third exam ^^;; Bleach: Watched 39. Want more. Ichigo, man, you never cease to amaze me *^_^* One Piece: Watched 151. Hehe, you just DON'T mess with Luffy, man! Birthday, me? This is Monkichi-chan *^_^* Another Year Older You know, I think I’ve definitely reached the age when birthdays are just not as fun ^^;; Yep, today I have officially turned twenty-five, or 25. And…that’s 5 years away from…30 ^^;; Ah well! No special plans, so far! If I’m not too brain dead from work, then perhaps I’ll get the family to go out to dinner or something. If not, then it’s okay. I accept my old age *^_^* Work: IV Pharmacy Yosh, it was so much better on Wednesday than on Tuesday. My pharmacist supervisor lady actually spoke more to me & taught me how to do some stuff. On Wednesday, I got to practice my ‘sterile’ & ‘handling’ techniques when dealing with syringes & needles. And finally, I was able to officially prepare IV bags & TPNs [Total Parenteral Nutrition, or liquefied food] *^_^* The scary part of work from Wednesday was when the old pharmacist lady started asking me knowledge questions ^^;; I was like, ‘Okay self, try not to give a dumb answer otherwise she’ll think you’re stupid & have no respect for you!’ So, I tried me best to recall my knowledge AND was able to successfully answer her question! Phew!!! Now THAT was frightening – but I survived *^_^* Lastly, I met a very funny pharmacist dude *^_^* He totally looked and acted like Jon Stewart from the Daily Show. LOL!!! It’s good to now that there exists funny & adorable pharmacists – it makes me feel more at ease *^_^* Anime Chrono Crusade. I bought the 6th dvd volume a few days ago, and watched it. Man, the craziness!!! Mind you, I am also reading the manga – which is also good – but then again, I often get a bit confused with the meshing of the storylines. Hmm…it’s all SO dramatic now – I wonder how the show will end ^^;; Although…I did hear that it ends…sadly *_* Naruto. The matches for third exam are pretty cool to watch. I love finding out the characters’ secret abilities and such. Also, I was a bit disappointed because I wanted to see Kakashi vs. Orochimaru ^^;; AND speaking of Kakashi, something tells me that…he’s hiding something. Hmm… And in the End… Thank you SO much for your visits, comments, and encouraging words. I really do appreciate it a lot. You guys are the best *^_^* *hugs*

Some Quickies My apologies for the lack of proper visits today...but, I will try to get to them tomorrow ^^;; Work Yep, I started in the IV pharmacy on Tuesday. So far, I don't like it BUT I don't hate it either. Hopefully, Wednesday will be more interesting. Anime Loveless. It's over, it's done. Nothing has been resolved ^^;; And man, the manga better be licensed soon *^_^* Naruto. Finally, the third chounin exam!!! Rock Lee is soo adorable *^_^*...in a wierd way, that is. Movies War of the Worlds. Eh, it was okay ^^;; Is that really how it ended in the book? Batman Begins. Hehe, I actually thought this movie was pretty good. It's unfortunate, though, that I watched it bootlegged on my bro's computer ^^;; I would probably have enjoyed seeing more detail on the actual theatrical screen. Ah well! All in all... That's about it for now! Hopefully my Tuesday will be better. *sighs* I miss my brother & sister -- who are now half way around the world. *feels lonely*

Movies! Movies! Movies! Comments *^_^* Godel: *rubs her cheeks* ^^;; Yeah, those gestures! I’ve noticed that the more advanced the seals…the more gesticulation is involved. As for being a pharmacist, I also used to think it was quite boring too! In fact, I once vowed never to be a pharmacist. So yeah, I’m eating my own words now ^^;; Pumpkin: Yep, since we have the same birthdays, then we’ll BOTH be getting old together! Hahahaha! What will I be doing on that day? Nothing too special since two of my siblings will be out of the country, and I have work so I’ll be likely be dead tired when I get home ^^;; Mouse: Man, I’m still feeling a bit weird at my job ^^;; And I feel even weirder mainly because the OTHER intern is SO much smarter than I, So I guess that weird isn’t the right word choice – how about stupid? ^^;; I know, I know, I should be more confident. I’m actually trying to do some extra studying for my job [so that I can be on top of things], but the motivation isn’t quite strong enough ^^;; Little Kagome: You know, I often wonder how the OTHER intern is doing as well, but knowing him he’s mostly likely doing better than me ^^;; Eh Sweetz: So far, my 3-day weekend is going pretty well! I’ve watch a lot of anime, listened to wonderful orchestral music, and even washed my beloved car *^_^* Mew Wem: The technicians at the Outpatient pharmacy where I worked are SO nice *^_^* Hopefully, the ones in the IV therapy will be nice too *^_^* And yes, you should definitely try out Naruto – it’s a fun & enjoyable show *^_^* Hinaru: Thanks! Hopefully your weekend is going pretty well too! Have you finished all your schoolwork yet? *^_^* Number 5: I don’t know how it is in the Phillipines, but you should definitely consider pharmacy *^_^* Or, just some to the States, and THEN do pharmacy. Good pay *^_^* And thanks for the advanced birthday wish *^_^* Movies The thing that I love best about summer are the movies *^_^* Although, I’m still not exactly sure what to make of this summer’s selection. But, I DO know that I will be watching the following movies: Batman Begins, The War of the Worlds, and Charlie & the Chocolate Factory. Well, I was considering adding the Fantastic 4 to the mix, but unfortunately that the cast does NOT appeal to me at all! ^^;; Anime: Naruto Yo, my sister, brother, and I are totally devouring these episodes *^_^* We’ve now started the second chounin exam and were just introduced to…the snake man!!! Cool, but in a creepy way. Hehe! Although we are still in the 30s, my batch download of 51-75 is happily on it’s way *^_^* You know, watching this show reminds me so much of Hunter x Hunter mainly because of the exams and fighting, and…that the same seiyuu voiced both Gon and Naruto. *^_^* Good stuff. Vienna International Youth Music Festival Well, in just ONE day my brother and sister will be leaving the States and on their way to the Vienna International Youth Music Festival in Vienna, Austria [for 10 days] where their school orchestra will be competing with others from around the world for the title of…’Best…in the World’? Hehe. Yep, yep – I am quite the proud elder sister *^_^* And yes, they are very good at playing their violin & viola. In fact, just yesterday, they had a farewell concert for family members at their school, and they were SO good. Ahh, such advanced music from such a young group! Hehe, my 17-year-old bro got to play a viola solo and then another solo for quartet *^_^* Very nice. Man, I WANT TO GO TOO!!! Eh. Another day, another day. Happy 4th of July! *hugs*

Mood: Blah. Work Friday is my last day working at the Outpatient pharmacy. All in all, it was pretty good even though it got hectic several times. Eh, that’s retail pharmacy for you! So, what did I like about working there? The people *^_^* The pharmacist I worked with were so nice & patient *^_^* I also liked how that day goes by quicker. What did I not like about it? I get sore feet & that I wasn’t able to practice my counseling as much. Also, I’m unsure of what I’m supposed to be doing most of the time because we get so busy & that no one is really willing to show me – which then scares me from asking any questions because I don’t want to be a bother ^^;; Man, I think I need more courage otherwise I’ll be at a total loss for myself. My biggest fear in working at the hospital is that I don’t want my co-workers to think I’m some fool who is not worthy of being there ^^;; *sighs* Ah well! I shall be off to the IV therapy pharmacy starting next *^_^* Anime Naruto: dude, the hand gestures/movements before each attack totally rocks! It’s quite funny because my 9 year-old brother likes to imitate it ^^;; Cute! Fansubs: Ock! I must say that I am quite disappointed with the SLOW release of fansubs this summer, so far. I figured that since it’s the summer, then the pace would pick up a bit – but it hasn’t! *_* July!!! The GOOD thing: I get a three-day holiday weekend, this weekend. BUT then again, my birthday is also coming up on July 7th! ACK!!! I’m...getting…old. m(*_*)m

Drug of the Day, Vicodin Monkey Orange: the Pharmacist Intern Man, Vicodin] is definitely a popularly prescribed medication at the pharmacy. So, what is it? Well, the brand name is actually Vicodin, while the generic is simply Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen. This medication is a schedule 4 narcotic used to relieve mild to moderately severe pain. FYI, medications that are classified as schedule 2 are actually locked up in a vault [like Percocet/Morphine/Adderall] ^^;; Anywho, I got to counsel a patient on Vicodin on Monday – it was my first time doing it at my job ^^;; Everyone was incredibly busy, so the technician grabbed me and told my to counsel – and I did. Well, it wasn’t the best since I forgot to mention some important info ^^;; But hey, now I know *^_^* Still…I don’t have the courage to voluntarily counsel a patient yet ^^;; I need perhaps…a few more weeks ^^;; Anime For those of you who download anime fansubs, have you ever watched a fan-dub? Well, I haven’t…until yesterday, that is ^^;; I was kinda bored so I decided to download Prince of Tennis 1 fan-dub. And man, it was SO horrible that it was actually HILARIOUS!!! Thus I was laughing hysterically while my ears were suffering. LOL!!! Fan-dubs ARE funny *^_^* My next batch download of Naruto 26-50 finished a few days, and yet, I’m still onlu on episode 5 ^^;; Plus, my hard-drive is running low on space so I’ll have to pause on anymore such downloads. But yes, Naruto is going pretty well. My take on the characters? Kakashi is AWESOME, and Sakura…well, I think Sakura is a bit neurotic. But you know what the sad thing it, though? I’m…kinda like Sakura ^^;; Well, it depends, really ^^;; Shhh!!! Ahh…Loveless *^_^* The more I watch this show, the more I like it *^_^* I remember when I first watched it I was like, “What the heck?.” And now, I love it! Sadly, there is only 1 or so episode left before it over *cries* And gosh darnit, the manga NEEDS to be licensed because nothing has been resolved! I might even burst a vein from frustration once the show is over! Must-have-more!!! Argh!!! Oh, and on a side note, Soubi is incredibly yummy *drools* ^^;; Manga No more Gravitation *sniffle* Ah well! The ending was sweet, though *^_^* AND, I can’t wait until I get my hands on part 2 of this wonderfully hilarious & cute series sometime in the distant, distant, most likely very distant future – but hopefully not THAT distant ^^;; And lastly Saiyuki first season manga also came to end. It was shocking!!! I had absolutely NO idea that the true identity of HIM is actually as a one of HIM. ^^;; Geez! Hehe.
