From the nice weekend & into the new work week Saiga [Legal Drug] Mood: Refreshed Good Weekend So, how was your guys’ weekend? Was it relaxing/tedious/boring? Well, for myself, my weekend was quite nice, though it should be longer ^^;; LOL! The best thing about working instead of being in school [except for the money] is that I have no homework due or tests to study for *^_^* Yosh! Over the weekend, I got to spend some quality time hanging out with my 9 year old brother on Saturday because our parents were outta town, the 17 year old bro was at some X-Box party, and my lil sister was at a tennis tournament in another city. Yep, it was just the oldest & the youngest children hanging out. Together, we went shopping, bought a pet fish, and ate gourmet burgers *^_^* Nice. Lastly, I also got my haircut, which mum says looks great! I think so too! I look better with shorter hair than with longer hair *^_^* And of course, my feet are feeling great too *^_^* Being Asian: Do I look Japanese or something? LOL! It’s an interesting story, actually ^^;; The children in our family are mild Asian mutts. We are, for the most part, of Chinese heritage with a teaspoon of Vietnamese & a dash of Cambodian. Out of the 4 kids, myself and 2 brothers looks Chinese, whereas my sister often gets commented that she looks Japanese ^^;; But yesterday when I got my hair cut, my hairdresser said that both my sister and I look Japanese – a first for me ^^;; Really? How so? Don’t we Asians all look the same to a small extent? Well, my answer is ‘yes.’ But the funny thing is that although we all look similar with our jet-black hair and slanted eyes, we are also able to distinguish each other into different types of Asian-ness ^^;; I look Japanese? I don’t think so ^^;;. My facial features are more Chinese, I agree. LOL! It’s really strange. I guess you have to be Asian to understand. Or, am I wrong? I wonder though, can Hispanics tell the differences b/w other Hispanics based on looks? What about for Caucasians? Can they tell the differences as well? Americans/Canadians/Europeans/Russians? Strange ^^;; And in the End My mind is still a bit boggled. Ah well! It’s off to work for me? Yes, me and my beautiful hair cut *^_^* Mwuahahahaha!!! *hugs*

Rolling in the Greens? Kakei [Legal Drug] Mood: Content Monkey Orange Completes Her First Week of Work It’s true! I have just finished my first week of working as a pharmacist intern *^_^* So, how was it? Painful – my poor precious feet ^^;; Well, aside from the sore feet, work is okay. I will not say that it’s the best simply because at times I feel quite inferior to my colleagues ^^;; As Ryoma from Prince of Tennis would always say “Mada, mada, dane!” or “You’ve got a long ways to go!” True. ^^;; So get this, I was driving home from work yesterday and decided to calculate the amount of moolah I’d make this summer. And then, I was startled by the result ^^;; At $28/hour for 3 months, I’d end up making about $12,000.00 [w/o tax deductions & etc]. Umm…wow? *_* So here is the take home message for you kiddies: GO TO SCHOOL!!! Invest in yourself a good education & then you too, will be able to ‘roll in the green.’ *^_^* I know school can be a pain in the butt, but hey, it’ll pay off in the end, right? Hopefully ^^;; A New Anime: Naruto FINALLY! My batch download of Naruto 1-25 was completed a few days ago *hugs her cable Internet* My sister and I finished watching the first 2 episodes, and so far it’s pretty funny. I can’t wait to meet Kakaishi, though *^_^* I’ve actually read the first few volumes of the Naruto manga, and am totally a Kakaishi fan [my sister too] *^_^* Although, I was also quite surprised to find out that the seiyuu who voices Naruto is the same woman who alsovoiced Gon from Hunter x Hunter. Cute!!! Sharing the Love: Have Some MP3s! I found a pretty good anime MP3-mooching site *^_^* All you have to do is register with the site, and then search for your songs [which may bit a bit tedious] but hey, it’s a pretty good source *^_^* Enjoy! Gendou’s Anime Music And in the End Man, it’s been quite the week for me ^^;; For this weekend, I plan to relax my feet, watch some yummy anime, and get a haircut *^_^* Yep, sounds good! Monkey Orange & the First Day of Work Kazuhaya [Legal Drug] Mood: Spastic Well guys, I survived my first day of ‘real’ work at the hospital’s outpatient pharmacy on Monday *^_^* Overall it was a good, except that now my feet are sore – quite sore ^^;; The pharmacists there told me that Monday is their INSANE day & it’s so true ^^;; I ended up losing count of all the prescriptions I had to fill ^^;; On one end, the phone is ringing like crazy, on the other end is a massive pile of prescriptions to fill, and on another end are very disgruntled patients ^^;; Man, the craziness! Aside from that, the pharmacists & techs that I worked with were quite nice & patient to me even though they also have to work hard to keep up with the fast pace. So overall, it was a good & crazy day *^_^* I wonder how long it’ll take me to get the hang of things ^^;; Hmm…what else is there? Ahh, that’s right! I was finally able to watch some Inuyasha this past Saturday. It’s been like…months since I was able to properly watch Adult Swim because I was at school with no cable ^^;; Hehe, it’s not really much of a problem now *^_^* AND, I also started watching a new series on fansub called Meine Liebe. Legal Drug Yep, I am definitely in a Legal Drug mood *^_^*. Legal Drug is a manga series by CLAMP. From Left to Right: Kazuhaya [Main Guy#1], Rikuo [Main Guy#2], Kakei [Pharmacist], & Saiga [Pharmacist's boyfiend] Story: This series sets in a pharmacy called the Green Drug Pharmacy. The owner is a post-cognitive pharmacist bishie who employees 2 unique young men to work at his business as part-time pharmacy technichians/part-time strange item finders. It's actually a pretty good series *^_^* I highly recommend it -- and it's not just my fangirl/pharmacist-side speaking ^^;; Hope you liked the pictures! Updates I will officially starting work this coming Monday *^_^* The first pharmacy I will be working in will be the Hospital's outpatient pharmacy, which is also known the the Hospital's retail-side of pharmacy. Instead of directly interacting with the 'hospitalized' patients, I will be working with discharged patients & hospital employees wanting their meds. AND after 3 weeks, I will be rotated over to the IV pharmacy in the main hospital building where I will wear scrubs & make...IVs. *^_^* Lastly, I have started my first batch download of Naruto 1-26. Yosh! *hugs*

Cable Internet!!! Thank you, my beloved lil brother, for setting up our cable Internet *^_^* Yosh!!! I have decided to halt my relationship with BitTornado and returned to Azuerus *^_^* But now...my lil bro and I are engaged in a battle for bandwidth -- my anime downloading versus his online gaming ^^;; Ah well! I am the one who is paying the Internet bill, therefore shouldn't I be the one who gets preferential use? Teehee! *big grin*

Monkey Orange Returns Hi guys! Long time, no post ^^;; Well, I have finally settled myself home – at my parents home, plus some siblings *^_^* From the Beach The beach trip from Wednesday was totally awesome! The weather was sunny & warm, and I also got some shopping done *^_^* Man, I love the ocean! I am definitely living near some sort of body-of-water in my future. If I were to be landlocked, then I’d totally go insane *_* Monkey Orange Heads to Work Anyways, I’ve been shopping for the past few days for career clothes & shoes. I think…I am ready for work this Monday. Well, I’m not actually working yet ^^;; I have three days of orientation this week, and then…I begin work on Thursday. But even on Thursday I won’t be working yet because I have a jury summoning at the courts. Man…all I want is a nice flowing week ^^;; Eh. Early Spending I haven’t worked yet, so I haven’t made money yet. Well, such is the evilness for having a credit card *^_^*. The manga released this June was very yummy indeed. I ended up purchasing the following manga, plus a few pending: Sensual Phrase 8, Hana-Kimi 6, Angel Sanctuary 8, DNAngel 8, Tactics 2, Chrono Crusade 5, Rave Master 15, Detective Loki 3* & Legal Drug 3* * = still pending. Additionally, I have also signed up for cable Internet at home. Exxxxxxccelllent! And in the End… I am now officially a second year pharmacy student because…I have passed all my classes – yosh! *^_^* Thanks for bearing with me, guys. I shall be off to visit y’all at last! *hugs*

School is Over! I had my Pharmaceutics final yesterday, AND it was more EVIL than my Biochemistry final. The reason for this evilness is not because of lack of studying, it is because the exam was simply unfair & unreasonble & strange. 100% of my classmates agree, ALSO something is definitely "out-of-whack" when you notice that the fast-test-takers/"A"-students of the class are breaking out it sweat. It...sucked ^^;; HOWEVER, my last Pharmacy Practice final today was quite nice & lovely, so no complaints *^_^* Anywho, I am done...and quite mentally tired. I shall now go back to my apartment, nap, clean & celebrate w/ friends. And tomorrow...I shall go on a beach trip w/ some other classmates before we all depart for the summer. Okay, guys. I am SO sleepy. I shall update again in a couple of days. Thanks for visiting *^_^* *hugs*

The Count Down Continues: Only 2 Days of School Left! Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle, by CLAMP Anime I watched Tsubasa Chronicles 8-9 this morning before heading out to the library. The overall story is progressing, but at a very slow rate. I wish that this series is more interesting, but then again, the only CLAMP stuff that I am familiar with are X and Legal Drug. Eh. My View on the Characters: Syaoran: He’s…a bit too much for me, emotionally. He’s sweet, yes, but not really that interesting. Sakura: Granted, she’s lost her memories, but still…a bit too spacey for me ^^;; Kurogane: Hehe, this guy is pretty amusing. Not bad *^_^* Fai: Now this guy…I like! Fai is perhaps the most interesting character in this series. Besides the fact that he’s pretty cute, Fai is quite the intellect, wizard, and exudes overall cool-ness *^_^* That’s it! I shall continue watching this series simply for Fai This shot was taken after he got out of the pool where he sealed away an EVIL sorceress [from RG Veda. He also had a very nice tattoo on his back – the source of his magic *^_^* The upper shot of Fai in his full wizard garb *^_^* His coat is HUGE – and can mostly likely fit another person inside. Ooo…I should be the other person *^_^* *maniacal fangirl laughter!* Final Exams I have only 2 exams remaining: a Pharmaceutics Final on Monday & a Pharmacy Practice Final on Tuesday. Studying for both of these exams is slow BUT thorough, I hope ^^;; Oh my gosh, look at the time! Gotta go! *hugs*

The Countdown Continues: Only 3 Days Until School is Over! Thanks! I'd like to thank you guys who PMed me with the box-thingy tips *^_^* You know who you are! I shall play around some more with it after I am finished with school. Anime I downloaded and watched Loveless 9 and Bleach 34 -- those epiodes left me shocked & wanting more ^^;; I also watched Honey & Clover 4 -- this really is a cute show. I am definitely keeping it *^_^* As for Tsubasa Chronicles 8 & 9 -- I haven't watched them yet, but I am definitely getting bored...and disappointed. And in the end... If you were wondering about my BioChem test on Friday...well...it was very icky! *_* But, I'm just happy it's over with *^_^* Anywho, back to studying! *hugs*
