The Count Down Continues: Only 5 Days of School Left!

MyO Fashion Update
Wait. Why am I here? Why have I been poking around with my MyO site when I should be studying? Eh. I added a very cute One Piece chibi background and changed both my text & menu colors *^_^* Good-bye Blue & Orange, and Hello Brown & Pink *^_^*

Last Few Exams & Last Minute Cramming
I shall take my LAST Biochemistry exam, today *^_^* Thank the Lord, NO MORE biochemistry! Yosh! I don’t think that I’ll do well, but I am pretty sure that I will pass…hopefully ^^;; Afterwards, I shall SELL back my heavy textbook & trash my notes. Eck! Biochemistry was SUCH a pain in the butt ^^;;

A Pain in the Arm
I had to drive back to my hometown [yesterday] IN THE MIDST of my studying routine in order to conduct an employee health/drug screen for my hospital job. The nurse woman was unsuccessful in located the vein AFTER she poked me. Thus, she DRILLED the needle in & out of my arm. And you know what? It HURT!!! *_* In all my lifetime of getting poked my needles, THIS pain was the worst. Ooouuuch! Anywho, she finally sent me to someone else for the blood draw. Luckily, the second time around was much more successful.

Farewell, my beloved AstroVan
Yes. I have swapped my ugly brown AstroVan for the brand new Honda CRV. At first mum was like, “You cannot take the new car to school until the licensed plate has arrived.” Well, the license plate arrived a week ago. So yesterday, I peeled off my parking permit from the AstroVan & pasted it onto the CRV. Yay! *^_^* The CRV is now mine to drive *^_^*

Question for the Viewers on Edits
How do you guys edit the style so that you get the BOX [w/ border] thingy to encompass your posting area? Also, how do you get a background into your post area? If you know the answer, then please PM me. I would greatly appreciate the tips *^_^*

In in the end…
I think that I am looking for an excuse to procrastinate…which is REALLY bad, I know ^^;; Thus, I shall make my departure & get back to studying. Ugh…2 more exams & my brain is already numb *_* Lastly, thank you so much for visiting. I promise to get back to regular visits once exams are over with.

*hugs*

The Count Down Begins: 9 Days of School Left!

9 days & 3 exams...and then I'm free *^_^*

A quickie before I recede back into the depths of studying...^^;;

So, what has happened since my last post?
-I recieved a TRAFFIC VIOLATION of $94 dollars for obstructing traffic! WTF?!? I'd go into more detail about this inccident, but I don't really have much time ^^;; All I can say is that it's simply ridiculous! I shall be writing them a letter pleading 'No Contest'!!!

-I am SUMMONED for jury duty. Ack! I must report to the courts during my first week of starting my new job. Geez ^^;; All I'm asking for is a peaceful summer...with minimal interruptions. Eh. I guess I have no choice but to do my civil duty ^^;;

-Manga: I moved all my volumes from my apartment home this past weekend, and combined them with my volumes at my parents home. Uh yeah...I've got over 100 volumes of manga ^^;;

And if you multiply each volume by $10 dollars & exclude all sales/coupons/promotions, then it sums up to be $1000 dollars. ^^;; LOL! And did I tell you that I plan on purchasing 10 more newly released volumes this June. ^^;; Yeah, I'm bad.

-Anime: On TV, Naruto is coming out this summer, I think. It's dubbed by FUNimation, so voicing shouldn't be that bad. Hehe, my sister is pretty excited about watching it *^_^*, and me too!

On downloads, a butt-load of Prince of Tennis episodes were just released. They include episodes 161-174 -- the final episodes of the entire SERIES. *sobs* I am...sad. Now since they've release the final batch, why is it that they haven't released 154-160? My mind is boggled ^^;; One Piece is going well. I have finally CAUGHT up with the fansub releases *^_^* Pretty good, so far -- we are in the beginnings of the Skypiea Arc -- which I've heard is fantastic! And lastly, I have started watching a new series on fansub called Honey & Clover -- hilarious! So far, I am liking it *^_^* Unfortunatly, until I'm done with school, I won't be able to any...at all. Sadness.

-Yay! Today is the Student Recognition Banquet! Pretty much, a bunch of pharmacy students, faculty, and staff will get all dressed up in pretty clothes, and dine together for some yummy food, drinks, and dancing *^_^* It should be fun tonight, but...why on Earth did they have to make it on a Tuesday night during Dead Week before finals? Strange. Anywho, I shall curl my hair and wear a cute looking pinkish-peachish cocktail dress *^_^*

-Okay, so this post wasn't that short. But yes, it's almost over...my first year of pharmacy school *^_^* I am feeling...I am feeling...very...very...*sigs* Nevermind ^^;; Okies. Give me about another week or so, and I'll be able to visit y'all. So until then, have fun! And thanks SO much for dropping & visiting *^_^*

*hugs*

Dude...I feel like my head is about to spin off my shoulders ^^;; Craziness...

So until then, I wish you guys the best of times with your day...week...vacation...whatever.

Study Break

Noooooooo!!! I took a gamble, and I lost (>_<). For this summer, I could've gone on vacation to:

Choice A: Austria, Germany, and Italy with my siblings for their International Orchestral Competition.

Choice B: The Netherlands, Belgium, and England with my parents to visit some relatives.

My choice: Choice B.

Result: Choice B was cancelled, and now it's TOO late for Choice A.

And I repeat: Nooooooooo!!!

*sighs*

Choice C: Roadtrip to DisneyLand in August. Cool, but...but...I really wanted to tour Europe ^^;; *tears*

Okay. Aside from that depressing rant, my anime downloads are going quite nicely, today *grins*

*^_^* And back to studying!

Star Wars: the Anime???...the Manga??? [Edit ^^;;]

Don’t ask. This was just a picture I found while meandering about the Web. ^^;;

And it was another laid-back, unproductive weekend. I think that I’m beginning to display signs of “Pre-Summer/School-is-almost-out” syndrome. ^^;; Uh, yeah. I pretty much shoved my studies aside and was…a bum ^^;: Eh. That only means that this school week will be busy as usual.

Monkey Orange & Star Wars
So I finally watched Episode 3: the Revenge of the Sith, and was quite impressed *^_^* I really think that George finally redeemed himself with this latest movie. It was full of action and darkness. I also felt that the story nicely filled in several story-related gaps that were left behind from the previous & subsequent movies. Although, I’d be lying if I said that I didn’t feel sad by the end of the movie. *sighs* It was still a good movie *^_^*

Monkey Orange & the Saiyuki Rant
I had no idea that the storyline/timeline for BOTH the Saiyuki manga & anime series were a bit disconjointed. ^^;; Initially, I wasn’t planning on collecting the manga [first series] because I thought the story coincided with the one in the anime [first season]. But I was wrong ^^;; The entire second arc of the anime is missing in the latter half of the manga [first series]. Instead, the latter half of the manga [first series] is the first half of the anime [second season].

Confusing? *sighs* Well, heck, I was quite confused too. Thus, I decided to just go ahead and purchase the latter half of the manga series, since I do NOT plan to purchase the second season of the anime because the price was raised from $20 to $30 dollars per volume. Heck no! I shall read my graphic novel version, and smile *^_^*

Monkey Orange & the Last Few Remaining Weeks of School
I can taste it, guys. Summer. It’s SO close *^_^* I only have, let’s see…1 video-taping, perhaps 2 drug quizzes, a few write ups, and 4 more exams left!!! *big grin* I gotta hang in there! Almost…almost…done. I must…remain focus! But…it’s so…hard.

^^;;

blah, blah, blah

Current Mood: Eh???

Star Wars: the Revenge of the Sith
Episode 1: The Phantom Menace was…okay. Episode 2: the Attack of the Clones [right? ^^;;], was plain horrible! Ock! Horrible! Thus, hopefully, Episode 3: the Revenge of the Sith will not be a total letdown. Although…if it IS a letdown, then I won’t be surprised either ^^;; I shall be going to watch it this weekend with my siblings *^_^*

Anime Music & the Question
Yosh! I was finally able to locate & download some Kyou Kara Maou! mp3s *^_^* It took me forever, but I got them. Okay, here’s a question for you guys: How do you host mp3s on your MyO site? I’ve noticed that some of you have music players on your site that is NOT the midi player under the avi. Please PM me with directions. Greatly appreciated *^_^*

Fall 2005 Registration
I made a boo-boo and registered for Monday lab. You see, I totally forgot that I’ll be working weekends for next school year ^^;; Yep. I’m gonna die with Monday lab. Crap. On other hand, I did register for 2 fun classes. Here is my schedule for Fall 2005:

-Pharmacy Practice IV w/ Lab
-Pharmacokinetics
-Pharmacology & Medicinal Chemistry I
-Clinical Applications IV
-Tennis I
-Group Piano I

Holy Mother of Cows!

Current Mood: Jolly Happy

So, did you all have a great weekend?

*smiles*

The Weekend Homework & Exam Preparation
Although it wasn’t the most exciting weekend, I got butt-loads of schoolwork accomplished. And what does that mean? Monkey Orange is cleared to start mega-studying for this week’s exams with minimal hassles *^_^* Eeeeeeexcellent [Mr. Burns-style; The Simpsons].

Bargain Anime
So I stopped by Best Buy on Friday. Initially I wanted to purchase Chrono Crusade DVD volume 5 – which I’ve notice was available a week ago. Sadly, it was not there ^^;; I was disappointed. But…my eyes then noticed some other anime DVDs that were priced very good. And I bought them, all 3 volumes. I ended up purchasing Gravitation DVDs volume 2,3,and 4 for the prices of $7, $7, and $9 dollars! *^_^* Yosh! All I need now is volume 1 *^_^*

And Monkey Orange’s BEST news of all!!!
Thank the Lord, I GOT the hospital internship position!!! I am fully contracted for employment this summer, next school year, and the following summer. Yosh! I shall be receiving top-notch hospital training, full benefits, and a wonderful pay of $28 dollars per hour. *swoons*

I am so…happy…and VERY grateful to Joe, who I think played a very big role in landing me this position. Ah Joe…such a nice man. *^_^* As for my other Walgreens position, I’m gonna try to keep that as well ^^;; It’ll be better if I can pull off both internships in a hospital & retail setting. So yeah, I will most likely NOT have a life this summer ^^;; Eh.

Current Mood: Exhausted & Frustrated

This week has been tiring, frustrating, and fast. I am so happy that the weekend is only a breath away. But despite it being the weekend, I’ll still be busy with work. ^^;;

This weekend: I gotta finish up the herbal project & develop a power point presentation & catching up on more notes in preparation for next week’s exam. Hmm…I think I’m leaving something out ^^;;

Yeah. I’m tired. ^^;;

Ah yes, anime
Just for the record, Monkey Orange does buy anime. ^^;; It’s just that…well, she can’t always restrain herself when there is also anime that is being offered for free ^^;; It’s like…saying “no” to free food & product samples at a store, except…I keep coming back for more ^^;; LOL!!!

A holla
Though I won’t be there in person, I shall wish theMouse a happy graduation this weekend! Also, I’d like to give a big thanks to hinaru for pointing me in the direction of some manga-goodness. You guys, rock!

*hugs*

In in the end...
Have a great weekend y’all! I shall try & do the same. And as always, thank you for stopping by *^_^*

EDIT
I've been listening to my Prince of Tennis music, and suddenly felt sad ^^;; I miss them! I miss my TeniPuri boys. First, the fansubs come out really, really, really slowly. Secondly, I am reminded that the show has already ended in Japan. *sniffles*

Hmph!

Current Mood: see picture of Gwendal [Kyou Kara Maou!] above.

Azureus DUMPED for BitTornado/BitComet
Yeah, so yesterday [Wednesday] wasn’t the most productive day. Rather, it was quite annoying. I have been using Azureus as my downloading vehicle for anime for a few years now. So then, it came out with this newly updated version and…and…now it’s being a pain in the a**. Geez.

For some stupid reason, I cannot connect to any peers. I mean, I notice that it is trying to connect to the peers, but it just wouldn’t. *sighs* I need my anime fix, and I need it now. Thus, I have decided to “take some time off” from my relationship with Azureus. My rebound vehicle is now BitTornado and BitComet -- which aren’t as good as Azureus, but it gets the job done. ^^;;

So, if you guys have any tips on how to improve my Azureus situation, then sharing would be greatly appreciated *^_^*

“We need volunteers. I know your number, so I WILL call you if I have to!”
And those were the words of my classmate. She had made an announcement yesterday, that she needed volunteers for an event for today. Pretty much, a big group of middle schoolers will be coming to the College of Pharmacy for some pharmacy-related fun projects.

So then, my classmate asked our class for volunteers, after which she pretty much said that if nobody volunteers then she’s gonna start calling up people to get her way ^^;; Yes. She called me. I mean, I could’ve been mean and said “no,” but I said “yes” instead. Eh. It’s only for an hour though. But still, she…she…actually called. Scary woman.

UPDATE:
Azureus, darling, you suck!!!
BitTornado, dearest, you suck too!
But, BitComet, honey, you’ve got lot’s of potential. Mwuahahaha!

Dammit, I’ve spent quite a SEVERAL hours trying to fix this problem, and got absolutely very little schoolwork done. I AM DOOMED ^^::

UPDATE II:
I have changed my mind. BitComet is horrid b/c it won't let me open the files. Ack! Thus, I have decided to run back to BitTornado.

*sighs*

Mmm…sleep!

I’m pretty much like Ichigo [above] every morning…and throughout the day, sort of ^^;; Let’s just say that it’s been a busy week, and will continue to be for next several weeks until school is over ^^;; Yes, this marathon is almost over. But unlike theMouse who be graduating [lucky], I still have another 3 years. *^_^* Fun.

Monkey Orange & Mother’s Day
It’s probably a bit late since it’s NOW the mid-week, but how was your weekend? Did you all treat your mommies well this past Mother’s Day? Well, my family went out to dinner on Sunday *^_^* Sadly there was a horrendous waiting line at our first choice restaurant. Eh. It was all good in the end *^_^* Later that evening, I helped my mom build resumé for a job position that she’s interested in applying. She was pretty happy afterwards, so then I was also pretty happy *^_^*

Monkey Orange & the Parking Ticket
So, I was walking back to my complex for some lunch, and lo & behold, I discovered a parking ticket on the windshield of my AstroVan! (>_<). What? I’ve been parking at that same spot every now and then, and now I get a parking ticket? Ock! This should not be! I read the citation and it said that my residential permit was…invalid. Heck, no! I was so upset and confused that I called up the Parking Enforcement department, and they contacted the enforcer of the area.

I then spoke with the enforcer and she told me that I was fined $25 dollars because my residential permit was stuck on the inside of my AstroVan, when it should’ve been stuck on the outside. Eh?? She explained that by placing the permit on the outside, it will reduce the chances of people swapping the same permit for different cars – a form of cheating-the-system. Geez. Anywho, I did NOT want to pay $25 dollars for such crap, so I played the role of “Aww…but I didn’t know. I just recently bought this permit…so is there some way we can work this out?” She bought it. She ended up giving me a warning. Phew.

Later, as I walked out of my complex and back towards campus, I noticed 3 parking tickets on 3 different cars. My car was clean. Evil, enforcer.

Monkey Orange & Anime
Over the weekend I watched quite a bit of One Piece with my siblings – which is always fun of course *^_^* And this week, I have been watching Bleach -- which is really good, now that I’m nearing the end of season one *^_^*.

I thought that it would be fun to post some pictures below:

Urahara
Haha! He got his hat knocked off. But you know what? I like Urahara. Of course, Urahara’s seiyuu is also Miki Shinichiro…so that may have given him a couple bonus points ^^;;

Ichigo
So, cool! Ichigo now has a new kick-ass Soul Slayer. Hmm, I probably should’ve capped a cooler stance or something *^_^*

Ichigo
I just thought that this was a pretty cool “Don’t mess with me!” kind of look in his eyes.

Ichigo & Ishida
These faces…these expressions…they all crack me up! *^_^* Love it!
