Bleh
Well Career Day: Part One went rather well. My contacts started to dry up during my last interview so hopefully I wasn't 'blinking' too much -- also, the fire alarm went off and we all had to evacuate the building. ^^;; False alarm >_<
Part Two will resume tomorrow, with 3 more interviews. *crosses her fingers* Please let me get an internship, pleas. Otherwise...I'd feel like SUCH a total loser >_>
So yeah, right now I'm waiting for my ride to a free dinner tonight. It's sponser by Independent Pharmacists -- should be neat. Heck, who am I kidding? I'm going for the free food ^^;;
...so hungry.
I won't be able to visit your sites tonight, BUT I will try to visit them tomorrow [while I'm researching the next drug lot >_<].

Am I really alive, or am I just a zombie?
Busy, busy work.
I took my quiz retake, and STILL got 1 question wrong >_<. My instructor gave me 'eh' look and told me that she'll let me get away with 1 wrong question, this time. Phew. I really need to work on 'reading' the question ^^;;
I also took 1 of my 4 midterms today. Honestly, I was a bit lazy in terms of my studying for that class, so hopefully -- a C, or so.
And tomorrow, is Career Day! I heard that the fair isn't TOO bad, and that landing an internship is quite easy. I hope so! I'm VERY excited about the notion of gaining Pharmacy experience WHILE getting paid & a class waived at the same time *^_^* Ooo...money.
This evening I will be joining my classmates at a Brown Bag event at the local hospital. We will be checking patient medications and immunization records. I think it'll be a good experience *^_^*
And afterwards...more studying and sleep. I still have two horrid exams on Monday, and perhaps another on Thursday. It never ends, this cycle of exams, papers, projects, and quizzes ^^;;
Okay. I'm gonna make a quick run to your guys' sites, and then go back to my place and eat lunch & type a paper. |

You know, perhaps I SHOULD become an insane doctor!
I'm actually posting from home ^^;; But since my bro is pretty obsessive about his computer, I doubt that I will be online long enough to visit you guys ^^;; Gomen!
I must vent now. I got 7/10 on my calculations quiz, and must retake it. I feel like such baka head! *bangs her head on the desk* My instructor corrected it in red ink, and drew 'frowned' faces near my inccorect answers. The comments pretty much suggested that I killed 3 of my patients via overdose. Man, I felt SO bad. >_<. I redid the problems and relized that they resulted from the simplest of mistakes ^^;; *sighs* It's hard.
*hangs her head over in shame*
...a retake...me? (>_<) baka!
*sighs*
Anywho, I activated my plastic today, and bought 3 volumes of manga *^_^* They were: Rave Master 11, Mythical Detective Loki 1, and Tactics 1. I finished Tactics today -- very bishilicious *^_^*
I also *gasp* did schoolwork. No choice, really. I have MOUNTAINS to complete. Afterall, I got midterms, quizzes, and interviews next week!
*wants her winter vacation, now!*

Not feeling well? Talk to your pharmacist!
Hi guys!
*^_^* Life feels SO much better near the end of the week. My days are less busy, and I get to actually sit down and zone out for a while. It’s NICE! Eat some food. Take a nap. Watch some anime. Read some manga. Go online. Just nice! *^_^*
Sadly, such tranquility does NOT last as long as I’d like it to. For next week, I’ve got assignments to complete, regular lectures to study for, quizzes, MIDTERMS, and internship interviews with SIX different companies. ^^;; I don’t cry. I don’t have fits of rage. I just laugh. Laugh, and…maybe freak out for a while ^^;; But it’s life. I suck it up and move on. Give it my best with NO regrets *^_^* …and then I whimper in sleep – just KIDDING! It’s tough, but I always manage to get through.
Oh yeah, I got 16/17 on my 1st drug quiz. *^_^* What ticks me off the most was that it was open-notes. Dammit, it should’ve been 17/17. ^^;;
Enough of school-talk, already!
Goodies for me?
I recently received a package in the mail from an online friend. *^_^* I got the stuff on Wednesday [a horrible day filled with tons of schoolwork], and was SO happy! Getting that package was seriously the highlight of my day. The package had episodes of One Piece 41-108, Prince of Tennis 124-128, Kyou Kara Maou 14-18, Hunter x Hunter OVA 3 GI Final 12-14. *big GRIN* Thank you SO much! She’s a total life saver *^_^*
Tonight I’m gonna try to download & burn episodes of One Piece 112-113, Bleach 2, and Haru Kanaru 1. I think PoT 133 is out, but I’m not sure. I shall check. At this moment, I don’t have much time to watch all of these cool and wonderful shows ^^;; BUT, I still gotta pile up my reserves while the resources are available, right? Aww…I love anime.
Did I tell you guys? I got my plastic…err…credit card in the mail a few days ago. MY name, MY address. *grin* I have been EXTREMELY frugal these past weeks, so I think it merits a bit of fun and rewarding spending, ne? It won’t be much, I promise ^^;; Just maybe..oh…5 or 7 volumes of manga. Hehe. I still need to finish 1 more new manga that I haven’t read yet ^^;;
Discourse, time! Part One: Pets, my Goldy!
Sorry to say, but I was never the typical child who grew up with a dog or cat. Why? Simple. Mum. Mother does NOT like animals. Actually, she just prefers NOT to take care of them. Therefore, growing up, my only pets were…fish.
Fish. Such creatures are easy to care for. Sure, they’re not exciting and you can’t play catch with them, BUT they are good pets in their own simplistic way. Fish live in a small area [usually in a corner of the room], they eat few flakes of food, and their poop doesn’t come in a notable and stinky pile ^^;;. My oldest fish lived for 7 years! It was a goldfish who started out the size of a pinky and grew to be 3 fingers wide & almost 1 hand long.
And then…one day Goldy puffed up and couldn’t swim. Goldy still breathed, but was handicapped. I wanted to take Goldy to the Vet clinic, but mum and dad gave me strange looks. *sniffle* Goldy died. I cried. The end.
As the years progressed, my parents became more flexible toward the issue of pets. My next pet was a duckling, named Hugh the duckling. *^_^* To be continued.
Question for thought
-Which of the 20 common amino acids exhibit a chiral carbon atom?
Hehe, just kidding! How about this question: Ever had pets? What kind? Name?
Have a great weekend, guys!

Medications question? Ask your pharmacist!
A quickie.
This week has definitely been better than last week, so far. I finally nailed down some of the moves in my aerobics class -- yay!
As for my other classes, I've been quite productive. I have been doing a lot of catching up even though I am still a bit behind. Still, life as a student pharmacist is VERY busy work. I really DO admire my classmates who are able to stay atop of everything ^^;;
Man, I'm hungry. I shall grab some lunch and do some more work.

Did you know? 96% of patients don't ask questions about the medications their doctors prescribe for them!
Hi guys!
The wedding was pretty fun *^_^* Compared to last October's wedding, this wedding was easier to manage. Phew!
Wedding: Not your typical American wedding...'cause we're not really Americans ^^;;
The ceremony began in the morning at the bride's home, then the to the groom's home, then to the park, then back to the groom's home, and then the reception. It was a long day ^^;;
The highlight of the wedding was the reception -- always *^_^* We had a live band so it was quite...lively. My brother and sister dedicated a song to my aunt and uncle via their viola and violin *^_^* All went pretty well...and late into the night.
The only bad thing about the wedding was the resturant and food. >_< The reception was held at the same place as last year's wedding. Mum told granny NOT to hold it at the same place. However, this particular resturant is the only place with suited capacity for a large crowd. Ah well...
I have another aunt getting married in March. Luckily, her reception will be held at a DIFFERENT resturant *^_^*
Shower, a baby shower:
So, the very next day my family went to my uncle's baby shower. Quite a busy weekend, yes. Yep, I'll be having another cousin ^^;;
Actually there's some drama behind the story of this particular uncle. ^^;; I won't go into much. But let's just say, that I met 3 more cousins that day too. Well, step cousins to be exact. Eh.
And...it's another cousin!
Hehe. I forgot to mention that my OTHER aunt had a baby on Thursday. We visited her at the hospital on Friday, and poked the baby a bit.
Man...what's up with these waves of wedding, babies, and cousins? ^^;;
Among other things...
-The past weekend was INSANELY busy. I didn't get to go back to campus until late Sunday night because I had to finish my laundry at home >_<. It's okay, though. I was able to study my conversion factors during the wait. Man, I gotta a conversion quiz today! No fear! For I have studied!
-I learned this morning that Christopher Reeves died last night [the original Supeman]. I am a bit sad by this because I like that actor. And especially since he worked SO hard to battle against his paralysis, too! *sniffle* He will be missed.
-My plastic finally came in mail! BUT, I can't use it until I activate it from home this coming weekend >_<. Please be patient, my manga! I will come for thee!
-Lastly, my apologies for not having visited your sites in the past few days. I have extremely busy >_<. Let me finish up a few things here, and I'll try to stop by tonight, k?
Thanks guys!

50% of the almost 2 billion prescription filled annually in the US are taken improperly!
Hey guys! *waves* Man, Wednesday was indeed a tough day for me to chew. Thursday started off on the wrong foot, but luckily it got better *^_^*. I sure felt good after my aerobics class – it must be the endorphins from the workout ^^;; After I worked out, I came back to my room, ate a yummy lunch, watch some Anime, took a shower, and did some schoolwork. Man, midterms are less than 2 weeks away! Damn you, biochemistry! *shakes an angry fist*

Bleach 01 [optional]:
I watched the first episode of a newly fansubbed anime called Bleach. The only thing I knew about this show was that it’s from Shounen Jump. I think that you can purchase the first 2 or 3 manga volumes at your local bookstore. Anywho, I thought it was interesting, so far.
The main guy, Kurosaki Ichigo, looks like a grown up Kyo Sohma [Fruits Basket]. Ichigo is a hot-headed 15-year-old student who possess high spiritual awareness – and can see and somewhat exorcise dead people. One day, he came face to face with a nasty ‘dead’ creature that was about to attack the soul of a girl he befriended. Before he could do much, a chick in a black yukata/kimono thing pops out with a sword is kills the thing. This chick turned out to be a shinigami – death god. Blah, blah, blah.
We find out that Ichigo is special. Another creature attacks – this time it’s after his sisters. But not really – the creature was after…him. Why? It wanted to eat his highly, spirited soul to gain powers. To save his sisters, the shinigami chick suggested that Ichigo ram her sword into his heart so that he would gain her ‘death god’ powers. He did that. And now, Ichigo is wearing a same black outfit, the sword is now bigger, and he’s mega powerful. He beats up the creature – the end.
And here’s picture of a poor, bound-up Ichigo, who had a mustache drawn onto his face by the shinigami chick:

Man,…I like to say ‘man’ a lot, don’t I? ^^;; Man, I can’t believe I’ve finished the first 2 weeks of school. It seems so unreal 0_o And still…I feel like I haven’t accomplished much. I REALLY need to pick up my pace, and to stay focus and determined. Argh! Just smack me if you feel like I’m whining too much! ^^;;
This weekend: Wedding! I’ll be running around in a pink dress ^^;; Man, I don’t have time for such festivities. Ah well, I love my aunt so I will go and support her *^_^*
Okay. I’m gonna so shower, and do as much work as I can today. That way, I can be free to watch some of my newly downloaded Anime *^_^*
Ahh…this fangirl has been way too deprived of her bishies.
And thanks guys, for your words of support. I really do appreciate it! In fact, here, have a present!
You know you WANT a stuffed, pink bunny. BTW, if you EVER see one these bunnies ANYWHERE, then please…LET ME KNOW! His name is Kumagoro [Gravitation] *^_^* I’ve been searching for one forever!
Toodles & have great weekend! |

Ack! >_< My contacts are SO dry right now -- it's difficult to see. I've been working almost non-stop today and it STILL feels like I haven't accomplished much. *sighs*
...so hungry.
*sniffle*
EDIT: Man, I was SO out of it last night that I left my PDA at the computer lab >_<. Luckily, the good citizens of this campus did NOT keep it for themselves -- so it's now back with me *^_^*
This morning, my usual radio station was NOT airing [National Public Radio], so I felt a bit lonely. And then later, my cell phone decided to ring during class. Ack! ^^;;
Geez, i still have 12 more calculation problems to complete, and 10 more drugs to learn.
*inhale/exhale* I can do it, dammit! |

Finishing what you started!
Alrighty! Yesterday was full of semi-excitement. Why, you ask?
One. A few days ago, I discovered that there was a problem with the CDs I burned [the Anime ones]. I was truly afriad that THAT would've been the end of my downloading spree. >_< Luckily, I resolved the problem -- so I can now continue to download happily *^_^*
Two. I confess -- I've been a 'bumming' student pharmacist ^^;; I've negelected my readings, practice problems, and preparing for my term papers. I was bad. WELL, I got my act together after an 'almost' freaking-out- inccident. I finally organized myself, and EVEN started on some of my work! Yay, me!
Three. I attended the first practice for Tennis Club. And I've decided to...retire. *gasp* It was a good 2 hour experience, but I'm just NOT ready yet ^^;; To put it simply -- I suck! >_< Man, i can't even keep the ball in the green, dammit! *sighs* BUT, instead of leaving after the first 5 minutes, I decided to stick it out. I gotta finish what I started -- and i did so with pride! At least I think I did ^^;;
Anyhow, I've decided to enroll in Tennis Class next winter term. I figured that it would probably be better if I learned 'how' to hit first, right? All in all, I believe it was a damn good effort. Before I made my exit from the courts, I was able to chomp on some free pizza and soda pop. I never let free food go to waste *^_^* Mmm...yummy.
Should I still do Ultimate Frisbee? Knowing me, I'll probably get so outta breath I'd have to retire early ^^;; Nah. I don't think that I'm THAT bad. Perhaps I'll take a frisbee class spring term *^_^*
Well, I guess that I'll just keep my physical activity limited to my Step Aerobics. Dammit, I almost trip over the step yesterday, too ^^;; I SO have NO coordination. It's sad.
All is well, that ends well. At least I tried *^_^* See, I'm not a total loser.
Alrighty, I gotta do some mega school work from now on. I pray that the procrastination bug keeps FAR away me!

Not a bad day
Yay! The downloading works -- excellent! I'm gonna try to download as much as I can today, so that I won't drag it on too long! *huggles the FTP server* I should be caught up with my Prince of Tennis, Full Metal Alchemist, and Kyou Kara Maou episodes. But then again, I still gotta watch them too *^_^*
Well, I've decided to do Tennis Club. I will show up to the first practice tonight to see what they've got to offer. Although, Panda's suggestion about the cute frisbee guys is quite tempting *^_^* I enjoy playing frisbee, i just think that my chances for 'passing out' will be higher if i join them *^_^* Ah well!
On Monday evening, my family came down to campus and attended the White Coat Ceremony for 1st year Pharmacy students *^_^* Yep. Now that I have my white coat, I am officially a Pharmacist-in-training. Well...that's what they told us. *^_^* And afterwards, they fed us free food -- which was pretty yummy. Mmm...cheesecake.
*sighs* i still have plenty of reading to do AND i gotta start studying! I plan to do my readings in the morning, but it's SO hard to get up when it's still dark outside. *sighs* I gotta fix that!
*^_^* |
