::WEDNESDAY, June 20th 2007:: {CLICK the picture above to find me *^_^*} ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ ::Reporting In:: *twirls around* Yep, I'm still working my numerous hours at my three jobs. All are enjoyable to a certain degree, but I think I'm starting to get a bit tired ^^;; Luckily my vacation is right around the corner -- it begins this weekend, actually *^_^* The families and myself will be heading on a two-week road-trip to visit the amusement parks in Southern California, then the Grand Canyon, and finally Las Vegas -- woo hoo! ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ ::NONSENSE BABBLE, IGNORE IF DESIRED - Anime/Manga/Gaming:: I was finally able to get caught up on my Naruto S and Bleach episodes. I had fallen behind about 5 to 6 episodes for each show ^^;; So, now that they've been updated in terms of watching, that leaves me about...oh...6 more shows to catch up on. Bleh. Manga-wise, I finished reading the entire Angel Sanctuary series with volume 20. It was soo good! I love Kaori Yuki's artwork - gorgeous. And now I can't wait to finish up her Count Cain/Godchild series. And speaking of series' ending, Death Note should also be coming to a finale for both the anime and the manga. The last DN volume is available this July - yay!!! As for the anime, meh, I'm still quite behind on the episodes. Blarrrrhhh! SO many things to read and watch, but so little time ^^;; Okay, okay. And moving onto to gaming...yes, I've semi-transformed into a girl-gamer among everything else that I do ^^;; But I've been good, really. I haven't played for the past week *^_^* Hehehe! Yes, my gaming has involved Devil May Cry 3 -- and Dante totally rocks! I am...almost halfway through the game -- which means a lot of progress 'cause I usually am awful at these things ^^;; Ahh...And did you know that the Devil May Cry anime has also been released? Mwuahahaha!! Lot's of blood and lot's of violence...and of course...lot's of Dante *fangirly swoon* ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ ::ALL-in-ALL:: Hmm, this post turned out longer than I expected. Games include: Elite Beat Agents, Jump Ultimate, and Nodame Cantabile. -Got a Play Station 2. It's slim & black. Games include: Tales of the Abyss, Metal Gear Solid 3, Soul Caliber 3, and Devil May Cry 3. -Visited the medical school campus in early preparation for this Fall. Woo hoo! ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~

My days have been consumed with working all day and then dazing out when I get home ^^;; Ugh. Are these the symptoms of a 'grown-ups' life? Noooooo! On the lighter side, I get extra money AND the weeks are moving by quickly. LOL!!! Ah yes. I also gave out my first vaccination to my supervisor. She survived, and so did I ^^;; It wasn't that bad. *pokes* ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ ::Of ANIME:: Not much. Haven't had the time. Very sad. I have a small pile of Naruto Shippuden and Bleach to watch in addition to everything else. But Ooo...I just downloaded the first episode of The Skullman *grins* It should be interesting. ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ ::Of MANGA:: I did it. My library has reached over 500 volumes that spans over 90 different series. (*_*) Whoa. ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ ::ALL-in-ALL:: Life is good. The weather is getting nicer. Believe it or not, but I was actually looking forward to the non-stop work schedule this week. Whatever. It seems that the employment paper work for one of my new employers weren't prepared for me, and obviously not completed. Thus, I wasn't able to work for this past Wednesday and Thursday. While it's nice to have those days off, I'm still irked by the companies lack of organization -- especially when I was prepared and even drove there. Gas for the car, you know, ain't cheap these days => $3.06 per gallon. Geez. ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ ::Of ANIME:: I gotta say that I've been enjoying Naruto: Shippuuden. No, I don't read the scanlations. I'm simply savoring each episode as they come. On another note, I'm looking forward to watching the next arc of Death Note, which features Mello and Near. Unlike most DN critiques out there, I don't think that this second arc 'sucks.' I'm still entertained. *^_^* ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ ::ALL-in-ALL:: I think I'm gonna vegetate for the rest of this day. Eat some junk food. Watch some anime. Read some manga. Take a nap. ::SUNDAY, April 15th 2007:: {CLICK the picture above to find me *^_^*} ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ ::MARATHONING WORK WEEK:: This week is THE week. Starting Monday, I will be working for 12 straight, 10 hour days...for a total of 120 hours in less than 2 weeks without any days off. Additionally, I will also be starting my two new jobs this week. And the question is...can I do it? Will I still retain my sanity? We. Shall. See. Mwuahahahahaha!!! ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ ::Of MANGA, ANIME, & MOVIES:: With my acquisition of Gorgeous Carat volume 4 from Sakura-Con, I was finally able to wrap of my reading of this series. Additionally, I was also able to move on to finish up Gorgeous Carat Galaxy. *^_^* 2 out of my 5 interested Spring 2007 anime series have been released as fansubs. I've watched the first episodes of Claymore and Darker than Black. So far, they're both looking pretty good. I can't wait to watch more - and also for the remaining 3 series to be fansubbed and made available. I finally watched the first Death Note movie last night with my sister and mom. Yep, mum definitely hated Light and loved L. Overall, I thought the movie was okay. There were definitely a few things tweaked compared to the manga. The actor who played L was perfect. But I still think they should've chosed someone else to play Light -- however, he did do a pretty good job of being cold blooded and evil. Heh, I am definitely looking forward to the second movie whenever it gets fansubbed and made available *^_^* ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ ::ALL-in-ALL:: It has been a very nice weekend. I made sure to enjoy it, rest up, and prepare myself for this upcoming marathoning work week. ^^;; Well, I hope you all have a wonderful week. ::SAKURA-CON 2007, PART TWO:: {CLICK the picture above to find me *^_^*} ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ YOU know, I actually had a nice post thingy typed up for you lovely people but then my computer went wonkers ^^;; Bleh. Thus, this simplified update. Enjoy *^_^* ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. I was excited to see this video game represented. These guys had the clothes, the hair, and even the dialogue! Good job. Objection!!! As the evidence states... ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ D. Gray-Man. Awesome show and manga. I was very happy to them represented. The costumes were all nicely done, with some better than others *^_^* My favorite costume was Allen. And oh my, there was even a Millenium Earl. I also found a Linali, but I guess I didn't take the picture. The only character missing was Kanda. Sweet. I am very much looking forward to the release of Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Mario Party 8 (^_^) -ARGH!!! Gasoline prices are insane. $2.94 per gallon (*_*) -Watched Super Size Me for the first time yesterday. ::MERRY MARCH MADNESS:: {CLICK the picture above to find me *^_^*} ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ And the count down begins. My Winter Term will come to end after March *^_^* I have Spring Term off from school, so yay!!! Lot's of things to look foward to after March. First is Sakura-Con in early April. Woo hoo! I'm soo excited about this year's guest line-up in Seattle. I'll finally be able to meet & greet some pretty cool mangaka from Japan, seiyuu, and voice actors/actress. Exxxxcellent. Then afterwards, I'll get to start working a few new jobs in addition to my work at the hospital. I'm looking forward to learning news things in new environments...and also getting paid for it. *grins* ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ Other than that, life has been good. -My little sister made it onto her varsity high school tennis teams -- woot! My littlest brother will be heading off to his State Chess tournament in a few weeks. And the other brother is still enjoying his life as a University freshling. -I'm still living through the remaining time of my Winter Term in pharmacy school. I'm still watching anime. I'm still reading manga. And I'm still fangirling as always. -My other free time is devoted to reviewing old notes, cramming new materials into my head, gymming, swimming, dancing, and eating *^_^* Yep. *^_^* E tu??? ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ EDIT: Bah!! I totally missed my 3rd year anniversary of being on MyO. Eh ^^;;
