   I'm going to whine like a baby now, my apologies =_=

Ugh...I have SO much work to do this weekend =_= My Happy Thursday is suddenly looking NOT to be as happy as I'd like it to be. Usually I'd just bum around on Thursday and watch my downloaded Anime, right? Right. Sadly, my downloads are SO slow!!! Therefore, there's nothing to watch! IN ADDITION, I can't even be a bum because I have SO much homework and studying and writing =_= Yes. I'm actually going to be doing work on a Thursday *sniffle* And I'll continue to be doing work throughout Friday and the weekend too! My exam results turned out to be what I did NOT predict =_= I was originally testing out a new studying strategy that I thought was increase the chance of success--but it didn't. I was aiming for at LEAST 45/50, instead I got a 40/50 while my peers got 43/50 and 41/50. I HATE being at the bottom! I am a creature driven to succeed. I must be at the top! *insane chuckling* All this studying and homework has really deprieved me of my bishies. I think I'm losing it. I shall devise another studying strategy for my next exam, next week. It must work!!! *desparately needs bishie loving* Though my Thursday won't be 'Happy', I shall wish that YOUR Thursday be a 'Happy' one *^^*

   Me, a Metal head? How can THAT be???

It's true. You seriously can't tell by looking at me BUT I've completely fallen in love with the metal band, Metallica. THAT even surprised myself! I never listened to Metallica before UNTIL I listened to Apokalyptica -- a Finnish Cello quartet who arranged and performed Metallica songs via nothing but Celli!!! THIS group is awesome. With just 4 Celli, they were able to imitate electric guitars, drums and a human voice. I HIGHLY encourage you all to give Apokalyptica a try. The music is a very unique approach to Metallica--it adds a touch of classiness to the Metal *^^* and makes it sound like something from the Fantasy genre. But yes, I NOW enjoy listening to the original Metallica in additional to it's classical counterpart *^^* And it's pretty good. With Metallica it's not just senseless electric guitar and drums--their combined melody and harmony is quite good. Examples [these songs aren't as fast, instead it's more dramatic and VERY good]: Metallica - Unforgiven Metallica -Nothing Else Matters But you know what I think? I think that it's the fast-paced rhythm of the music that I enjoy a bit more. The fastness of it all is GREAT when I study for an exam AND especially to listen to BEFORE and exam *^^* Examples [these songs are pretty fast & excellent for head banging *^^*]: Metallica - Enter the Sandman Metallica - Sad but True Metallica - Wherever I may Roam Metallica - Holier than Thou Which is my favorite song? I can't really tell. ^^;; I SO need to go out and to listen to some of their OTHER albums. Most of the songs that I am listening now are from the Black Out [i think, or Fade to Black--something like that ^^;;] album. Yeah. Let's just say that my musical tastes are ECLECTIC ^^;; I enjoy a bit of everything. What about you guys???

   Do I really need to title my subject here?

You know, I just realized that July is almost coming to an end. What? How the heack did THAT happen? *sighs* So, what's new? Phoney Business: Well, I finally got my replacement cellphone *^^* It's NOT the trendy flip-phone that I wanted BUT hey, it works! A Visit from Zach, the ex-Lab Instructor *^^*: Yep. He stopped by the lab yesterday--which of course, is nice for me *grin* I wanted to talk to him some more, so I approached him with questions about my experiment *grin*. Perhaps he'll stop by again today before he leaves for his field research. Test: Wednesday, or Thursday I hate it when test dates are mixed up! I could've sworn the Professor said the test was on Thursday BUT then I discovered that it's actually on Wednesday. Bummer. You know what's also on Wednesday? Answer: my lab quiz. Double the study, in half the time. Eh. Anime Stuff: Downloads: For some reason, my downloads are going VERY slow!!! Annoying. I just hope that they'll at least be finished by the end of Wednesday--that way, I can watch *^^* Yuyu Hakusho: Man, it's been a while since I watched this show. Cartoon Network is FINALLY showing episodes that I have yet seen. *^^* Yep. Good to be watching Team Urameshi once again! *loooves Kurama*

   Shounen Madness

Man, it's gonna be a warm day today ^^; Originally I planned on driving home the for weekend before 'rush hour.' Sadly, I was delayed because my eyes were glued to watching Prince of Tennis and my hands were busy burning them onto CDs for my sister ^^; Therefore, I will be stuck in traffic again! Hehe. I almost have 90 episodes of Prince of Tennis!!! Once I get caught up to the episodes that are released via fansub--I'm gonna switch over to One Piece *^^* Actually, I already started the download for the latter, but since the files are SO big it's gonna take a long time. THAT's why I'm starting them now *^^* I can't wait to watch it! Also, I have a few online buddies who are gonna send me Full Metal Alchemist and Hunter x Hunter!!!! Yay! *jumps up and down* I gotta stock pile my anime BEFORE this Fall!!! Once I start school in September I will NO LONGER be able to download Anime!!! Very sad. Speaking of which...I'm beginning to watch more and more Shounen. *sighs* It's fun and all...but I'm still a romantic at heart *wants more Kyou Kara Maou to be released* Ah well. More homework and studying over the weekend for me. It's all a never-ending cycle, isn't it! *wonders if her replacement cellphone is in yet* Have a great y'all, and thanks for stopping by *^^*

   Happy Thursday!!

Let me just reiterate again, I love NOT having those daily quizzes!!! It frees some extra time for me to focus on other material *^^* Today, I have only 1 quiz--for the entire week! Yay! I'm feeling quite prepared for it, so hopefully all will go well *^^* Once class is done with, I'm gonna ENDULGE in Prince of Tennis, and hopefully some the other downloads will be finished too. *^^* My summer session is almost half way completed. My replacement cellphone is on it's way. All is going well *^^* May you all have a wonderful Happy Thurday *^^* P.S. Today will be Zach's [my CUTE lab instructor] last day!!! I must enjoy it to the fullest!!!

   Better, better!

Thankfully, I'm feeling SO much better today. I've concluded that my condition yesterday was due to the '24 hour virus'. I exhibited all of the symptoms and was lucky enough NOT to puke at all! *^^* I am a SURVIVOR!!! Woo hoo! I felt like puking during my morning lecture, but resisted it to the MAX! I told myself to hang in there and I did *^^* When I got home, my muscles were sore, and I even had a fever! And to tope the off, it was a hot day and the AC wasn't even working *sighs* BUT, I am doing MUCH better today *grins* A Farewell to the Cute Lab Guy, Zach: I discovered yesterday that Zach will be the lab instructor until the end of this week! WHY SO SOON!!! I wanted him to stay longer *tears* He is SO cute *blush* Aww...Zach... Death to the Daily Lab Quizes! That's right! I no longer have to take those annoying daily lab quizzes. Phew! They were SO bothersome! Instead, this next section, we have to work in groups and conduct an experiment [the effect of doing 'jumping jacks' on heart rate & body temp.]. Blah...At least the experiment is not as laboring as the quizzes! *grins* Oh yeah, I get to dissect a brain today *^^* Sweet.    ughh....

*enters post with swirly eyes* My apologies for not having visited your guy's sites for awhile ^^; My tummy is acting really funky this morning so I'll try to keep it short [like I ever do, right!] Anywho, I went home for the weekend as I usually do. BUT when I got home I realized that everyone came down with the '24 hour virus'! Accompanied with that particular sickness, is upset stomach, vomitting, diarrhea, muscle soreness/fatigue, and a slight fever. *feels her funky tummy acting up* I really hope that I did NOT catch that virus! I absolutely CANNOT afford to miss any day of class! My course are super accelerated so I'd be screwed if I missed a day! Ughh...I feel so...nautious...*swirly eyes* I think I'm gonna go buy some Pepto Bismal--to help my tummy...ughhh... Aside from the sickings, being home was relaxing. My birthday was celebrated [somewhat *^^*] and my aunt was engaged! Yay! Here are my birthday goodies: -My sister made my a Prince of Tennis birthday card! SOO cute! It has a row of the Seigaku tennis bishies on the front *drools* -Bought myself some stuff ^^; It included a beautiful Hana-Kimi artbook. Very bishilicious *^^* ALSO bought Hot Gimmick manga volume 5. Good stuff *^^* -Lastly, I got some money from my aunts and granparents when I went to the engagement party on Sunday. Okay. I feel like I'm gonna throw up now. I shall depart!

   Another Happy Thursday!

And Happy Thursday to all those who've wandered to my site *^^* Seeing as how I'm up my Aunt's place for summer school now, my b-day yesterday was quite dull. AND I didn't get any birthday calls from home either *sniffle* Believe it or not, the only people who wish me a happy birthday are those that are online *sniffle* Geez...I feel loved *sacastic* BUT thanks, you guys...for doing so *huggles all* I try NOT to crave and be dependent on attention...but...but...it's the thought that counts, right? *sighs* Sometimes I feel like I am truly alone in this world *sniffle* *slaps herself back into reality* Anywho, moving on... I now have a new lab instructor for Anatomy. It's no longer the short grad-school student, girl. INSTEAD, the new instructor is a gorgeous young guy with the sexiest eyes and face I've seen in months! It's true. I haven't seen an attractive guy in person in quite some time ^^; And THIS guy...Zach...is....*drools* I took my lab practical yesterday and found myself stealing glances at HIM rather than focusing on the cadaver at hand ^^; *pleasurably sighs* I can't help it! I think I have a crush on him *^^* Woo hoo! NOW I have something to look foward to when I go to lab *^^* Mmmm...Zach... *dreamily sighs* *hearts in her eyes* *feels giddy* *^^*

   To birthday, or to not?

Happy Birthday, me!!! *sighs* Afterall, it IS just another day, right! And I gain another year! I am stead fastly approaching my mid-20s...and soon...30s... *cringes* Oh, where is my youth going to? And after the 30s I'll be over-the-hil at 40! *sighs* And then...retirement. . . . Got a lab practical exam today, and 2 more exams tomorrow. Yay me *sarcastic* On the brighter side of things, I'm almost 1/3rd of the way done with summer term, yippee!!! Now THAT calls for a celebration *^^* *whips out a cake & some scetchy beverages* Enjoy!

   a 'Case of the Mondays'? NOT!!!

Hello all! I hope that everyone enjoyed their weekends! I did, sorta. ^^; I'm still at home. Since Sunday was a holiday, I don't have classes until Tuesday ^^; I'll drive back later this evening. So, here's a little recap: Death of my cellphone, or is it?: *sighs* It's true. My primative cell has...died. What do I mean by that? Well, the battery life has been shortening for some time now [this means that despite recharging, the phone doesn't operate as long as it should during the day]. AND now there's something wrong with the recharging mechanism. Therefore, I can't recharge my 'already-drained' cellphone. Sucks! My mum is gonna call up the store where we bought the phone to see if they can get us a new phone SINCE we bought a 2-year service plan and it's only been a year! It's okay. It's just a cellphone ^^ I haven't relied TOO heavily on it that I'd freak out right now. BUT, once I start school this Fall I WILL need a better cellphone w/ a better plan seeing as how THAT phone will become my primary phone to use. Therefore, next month I'll finally be getting a new cellphone! Yay! And you know what? It'll be one of those trendy flip phones too *^^* Once I get that phone, my family will enroll in the 'Family Plan' and things should work out nicely. *dreams about her new flip-phone-to-be* And then, I'm gonna get me some cellphone toys too *^^* A gain in 'Sleep' hours, foiled! Yeah. So I was gonna sleep some more this weekend...but...I ended up staying up late in the night watching Prince of Tennis with my little sister ^^; *sighs* I have such a WEAK will when it comes to refraining from bishie-infested Anime ^^; SO bad! Things to obtain before school this Fall: Alrighty. Inch by inch, I am getting closer to school this Fall. AND I finally almost have the things that I need ^^. -new cellphone [later] -TV w/ duel VCR & DVD player [check. I just got this over the weekend too! Thanks Mum! I love you!] -Studio to stay in [check. I'll be sending out my rental application tomorrow! *^^*] Sore muscles, learned muscles, or both?: Our family went hiking up to a huge waterfall on Sunday. Yes, I was panting ^^; I'm not the most active person, plus I'm getting old ^^; Eh. Anywho, this morning my leg muscles were sore ^^; Just slightly, though. But you know what the sad part is? While we hiking yesterday, I kept naming and relating my muscles to the material I'm learning in class! Totally dorky, eh? Example: My brother's like 'This part of my leg is sore' *he points to the front portion of his lowermost most leg* And I'm like 'That's your Tibialis Anterior. *grin* It goes from your medial condyle of the Femur and attaches to Metatarsal 1 and Cuneiform 1. It functions to plantarflex your foot!' *silence* Ugh. I SO cannot wait until I'm done with the muscle unit...which is THIS week! *does a happy dance* Well, ONE quize and THREE exams left this week until the weekend. Gambette, me!!!
