::Slow Week::
First, I left all my manga at home over the weekend and had nothing to read this week. Then, my body became quite sore from the new work-out moves I've been doing. And to top it all off, the very rainy weather here is leeching out the rest of my energy. I feel like the entire week [so far] has been a "Case of the Mondays." Bleh.

::For Friday and the Weekend::
I won't go into much detail about it. I will save the details for my next post. Let's just say that Friday and the weekend will be busy but fun *^_^* Hopefully it won't wear me out for next week ^^;;

::Class Schedule for Winter 2007::
I registered for Winter classes yesterday. For the most part, I was able to register for the classes that I want. However, there were two dancing classes that I really wanted to take but couldn't due to required class conflicts. Ack! And this Winter term will be my last at this University campus. *sniffles*

Biopharmaceutics I
Drug Literature Evaluation
Japanese I, part 2
Beginning Piano, again
Swimming I
Basketball I
Salsa I [alternative was Latin Dance I]
Night Club 2-Step & Shuffle [alternative was West Coast Swing I]

Despite my whining, I am quite excited about this Winter term. It should be fun *^_^*

::Anime::
I decided to watch some anime since I didn't have any manga with me. I watched some One Piece goodness. The G8 Arc has concluded and now I'm off to the Davy Black Arc. There's also a new opening song and sequence which both quite cool. The new song is very catchy -- I like!

I watched the new releases of NANA which was nice. I am definitely liking this series better than Paradise Kiss. I'm glad that Hatchi made the decisions she made in episode 28-29. Her character is finally growing *^_^*

Death Note was pretty cool. Man, the makers of the anime are doing a great job of portraying how evil Light looks. And to think, he'll get more evil looking at the series continue. LOL! Viewers also get to finally meet L in episode 6. I can't wait until the two meet eachother. LOL!

Lastly, I watched Kyou Kara Maou! episode 73. Honestly, I'm not impressed with how the climax is building up for the end of this series. There are only five episodes left and, sadly, I don't feel any excitement. Such a pity, really. Well, at least I had enjoyed the majority of this series since I started watching it...a few years ago.

Ock, one more! Naruto. And just when I was beginning to think I was seeing the light...the end of the fillers...well, I was wrong. (>_<) Episodes 208-209 were horrible.

::ALL-in-ALL::
This week is almost over. I gotta hang in there until then. ^^;; But before I leave, I'd like to thank you all for stopping by. *^_^* I shall make some time later on to visit you all too!

L [from Death Note] says to have a great day, and weekend!

::Goodbye, Tennis::
Thursday was my last day of Tennis class. I am a little sad to say that I won’t be taking Tennis class anymore. I’m done. I took two terms of Tennis I, so I think I’ve had enough. Don’t get me wrong, for I am still a newbie and therefore suck. However, I have accomplished my goal of not ‘sucking’ as much. Yosh!

::Piano::
It’s all about taking baby steps. I gave up on doing the Metallica song for my recital. I was a coward. Instead, I have switched over to Spring by Vivaldi. It’s a pretty song, and much easier for me. Well, I shouldn’t say that it’s easier…it’s just a song that I think I am more capable of learning and performing.

::Murder Mystery::
I will be attending a social event for pharmacy students this evening. The event is taking place at a historical mansion up in Portland. The theme is 1920’s murder mystery. Apparently actors and actresses were hired to help with the interactive activities. It should be a fun evening *^_^*

Ah yes, I ate yummy ramen yesterday for dinner. Except, my ramen did not come via cup. It was much more tastier that the typical cup stuff *^_^*

::From the Previous Post::
“The above titles are the manga series that I collect[ed]. I made my 400th purchase yesterday. Wow."

*covers her face in shame*

Geez. And I wonder why I’m poor? Mum always gives me a ‘look’ and then compares me to a drug addict. Whatever. If y’all think that’s bad…man, and I didn’t even include my anime collection yet. ^^;;

But yes, let’s move on to a different topic *^_^*

::Cleaning Up::
My procrastination on schoolwork this week was mainly due to playing around on the Internet. To be more precise, I have been updating, changing, and moving around on all three of my blog sites: MyO, MySpace, and LiveJournal. I also have a Facebook account but I do not consider it a blog.

The MySpace and LiveJournal have been acquiring dust, so I felt an obligation to clean it up and make it look pretty. Although, sometimes< I don’t really see the purpose in doing so since the traffic is very lite. ^^;;

Each of my accounts is available to different groups of friends. And with each of those groups, I tend to post about slightly different things. However, I also have a handful of friends who are commonly spread across my numerous accounts. Thus, these folks know me a bit better than some other folks.

::Whackjob, where?::
Does having several accounts make me a weirdo? Perhaps. Maybe I’m hiding something. What if my personality here is nothing like my schizo true self on MySpace. Or, what if I’m actually a square shaped alien living in Kansas on LiveJournal?

Hehehe. Am I making you guys paranoid yet?

Have no worries! I’m just being very silly today ^^;; And to prove that I’m not some whack job, I shall welcome anyone of you all to my various accounts *^_^* Just PM me.

Wait…how the heck did I get to this topic? Whatever. I don’t feel like wasting the effort I put into typing this post by deleting and starting over.

I’m tired. I need to get off my computer and sleep. But before I do, here’s a little picture I made for my LiveJournal account. I really like it and think it’s hilarious. So, I will share it with you!

Enjoy.

Tuesday - November 7, 2006

Yesterday wasn't as bad as other Mondays, but it was still unproductive. Perhaps it's a psychological thing but I feel completely unmotivated to do anything on Mondays. Heh, it also didn't help how it rained the entire day. It will also be raining for the entire week and most likely beyond that too ^^;;

Ugh. I feel like such a blob. *pokes tummy* I think I ate too much last week. Man, I better not have gained any pounds, or else!

Monday, my absolute least favorite day of the week. I will try my best to make this day not ‘suck’ as much *^_^*

I have made changes to my site. I generally like to keep it simple. I like how my text colors are not overwhelming, but at the same time provide a nice balance to the black and white of the background and default text color. I have chosen Pucca as the new avi representative. Honestly, she often reminds me of myself ^^;;

The weekend went by nicely. I did some computer training for the hospital to prepare for the switchover to the new system at the end of November. I am hoping that I won’t be scheduled to work on that day of Hell & insanity *_*

Anyways, I am excited for March to arrive! Why? Why, you ask?

For the beginning of March, I will be accompanying my sister and her orchestra as a chaperone to New York City, NY for their participation in the National Orchestra Cup competition at the Lincoln Center. And then a little after mid-March, I will be attending the American Pharmacy Association Annual Conference in Atlanta, GA. Lastly, I will be heading up north to Sakura-Con in Seattle, WA.

I must do as much fun traveling as I can before the next school year which is when I officially and finally become a third year pharmacy student. Once my third year of pharmacy school begins, I will no longer have any free time off until the day I graduate after completion of my fourth year. It is then when I truly become an adult.

Noooooooo!!!!!

Yep. All that junk food I ate yesterday sure made me feel sick. I was like a robot that continuously fed off of candy and other miscellaneous sweets ^^;; *pokes her tummy* I plan to work ‘it’ off today with my tennis and gym-faring. Yes, I know, I know. Binging is bad. I shant do it anymore. Yosh!

Anyways, my piano midterm yesterday turned out really well. Personally, I think the teacher guy was very easy on us students. I ended up acing the exam ^^;; Another anomaly!

Oh, did I ever tell you guys about the piano final exam for that class? Well, the final exam is in the form of a piano recital. Teacher guy said that we can perform any piece that interests us, and that he’d be more than willing to help arrange songs that aren’t available as sheet music.

Okay then! I emailed him my song and he liked my selection *^_^* When I spoke with him yesterday, he suggested that my performance should be done as a duet between myself and him – that way, the song would sound really cool [and it’ll be easier on my part ^^;;] This will definitely be challenge for me. Still, I am very excited to start practicing the song. I chose to perform “Unforgiven” by Metallica. Cool, isn’t it! A piano arrangement of this song is gonna sound awesome.

*sighs* The pharmacy career fair will continue today. I had one interview yesterday, and it went okay. It could’ve better if I was more prepared. Whatever. I already have a job so it’s not like I’ve got something to lose, right? Man, I felt very rusty coming out of that interview yesterday. I need to brush up on my response so that I’d sound more ‘sharp.’

I originally scheduled three interviews today, but somehow I signed up for another interview at the last minute. I had no choice, really. And to be honest, I’m not really interested in working for this particular company either. It started with a conversation with the company’s pharmacy manager, who is someone I sort of know from attending similar previous events. He asked if I signed up for an interview with this company. I said ‘no.’ He said, ‘Well, let’s sign you up right now. Are you free in the morning?” “Uhm, I think so.” “Great. Then we’ll see you tomorrow morning!” Ugh…^^;; And now I somehow have gained another interview. So, four interviews today. Lovely.

Ughh...

The food I'm eating so far for today is making me feel a bit sick.

I was in a rush driving back to the University campus this morning so I ended up ordering a McDonald's breakfast meal. I don't think I've consumed so much fat in one sitting in a long time ^^;;

I've also been snacking on a few mini candy bars since last night. My favorites have been the Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and Snickers.

Ock! This is bad for my diet. I gotta stop this evil consumption after today ^^;;

Here is the carved pumpkin that my siblings and I created over the weekend. The design is original. The thing inside the pumpkin is a candlestick so that it’ll glow at night.

* * *

Woo hoo! And by some strange anomaly, I managed to ace my Japanese midterm, which was somewhat unexpected. But, I shall complain no more ^^;;

My dance class yesterday was okay. I have concluded that I do not like to dance Single Time Swing. I…I just don’t have enough ‘bounce’ to make it fun ^^;; Very sad, I know. Me, not enough bounce? Whatever. The class has now started on the Viennese Waltz – which is pretty much described as fast-paced, partner, spinning around the room. ^^;; It looks really fun, but I think I’m gonna totally be dizzy once I start dancing to it ^^;;

Yesterday I bought an 8” Thai chicken wrap from a café for ‘to-go’. And you know what? The ding-bat serving girl made my wrap out to be 4”. Heeeello?? 8” not 4” If I weren’t already far from the café, then I would’ve turned around back to the café and demanded a remake. Not only did the ding-bat screw up on the size, she also screwed up on the tortilla. I wanted a wheat tortilla not a flour tortilla. Geez, apparently the ding-bat can’t read the order. Totally careless! Hmph!

Another thing that bothered me yesterday [and throughout the weekend] was my right foot. I’m not sure how it happened, but my right toe-joint is somewhat swollen. Thus, walking normally is a little painful. It sucks because I wasn’t able to go to the gym and work out yesterday (>_<) I gotta take it easy until my joint heals up. ^^;;

Okay. That shall be enough venting for today ^^;; Thank you for bearing with me ^^;;

Happy Halloween folks! Be safe.

Greetings, beautiful people *^_^* I would like to thank those of you who made it over to visit and comment on my site. Seriously, where did you all come from since it had been so quiet around here? Still, I appreciate your visits very much. I shall make time today to visit y’all as a token of my loooooove *^_^*

My weekend was busy. I worked at the hospital on both Saturday and Sunday. I went to my baby cousin’s one-month-of-life celebration. It’s always nice getting together with my numerous family members. It’s also fun because I got to poke baby Tam. On the following day, my siblings and I carved a pumpkin in honor of Halloween this coming Tuesday, October 31st. I shall be driving home from the University so that I can hang out with my family and have some ‘spooky’ fun.

Here are some other notable notes from my weekend:
I bought myself a keyboard so that I could practice for my piano class from the comfort of my room. I sampled some disgusting yogurt. Fat-free & sugar-free yogurt is not delicious. Lastly, I did my civic duty and voted. I voted on all the State measures and for State Governor. I did not vote on other…things that I wasn’t sure about. Eh.

*sighs* This is gonna be another insane week. I’ve got a piano midterm and a career fair to attend to – in which I shall be interviewing with a few companies. Grrrrreat ^^;;
