Yesterday evening I drove back to my hometown to attend the Benefactor’s Reception for the scholarship that I received. The event was held at a local vineyard and was very nice. I met up with my benefactor who was a very nice lady. We talked about our academic history, career paths, and even our current diet plans. The food served was also yummy. But I think the best part of the evening was being able to meet up with my original classmates. There was only a small handful that showed up because they had an exam to study for the next day. Still, the meeting made me truly happy *^_^*

In other news, my weight-loss plans are progressing nicely. I have lost about 10 pounds since I started school. Yosh! 10 pounds down, and 30 more to go! Mwuahahahaha!!!

Lastly, I just read the review for Death Note 2 and took a look over the screen caps. My God! I am such a Light groupie! *drools*
