Sing My Sorrows, Burn My Candles
That'd be the title of my newest piece of poetic...poetry... Anyways, it's inspired by AFI's Sing The Sorrow and the lyrics in it are from "The Great Disappointment". Enjoy.
----
Sing My Sorrows, Burn My Candles

When the beautiful stars fall from the dark night sky,
will you catch them for me?
Or left them slip through your fingers,
like the sands of the desert?

When the glowing ashes leap from the wide mouth of the volcano,
will you left them burn my flesh?
Or protect me and burn,
let the tears fall from my eyes?

"Never never wanted this/Always wanted to believe/Never never wanted this"

Be it the crying stars or the angry ashes,
will you be there for me?
Or so very far away,
let what may happen be?

My wounds will tell you my story.
My scars will sing their laments.
My eyes will play a moving picture.
My mouth will remain silent as always.

"Never never wanted this/From the start, I'd been decieved/Never never wanted this"

Let the wounds continue.
Let the scars chorus.
Let the eyes finish.
Let the mouth stay.

The tales never end.
The songs never cease.
The credits never roll.
The closing never opens.

O! Stars! Sing my sorrows!
O! Ashes! Burn my candles!

That'd be it. In other news, I got out of school early today. Yay! Unfortunately, the bus came so late it didn't really matter anyway. ~_~ I Knew I should have stayed at Penn Wood... And assessments start tomorrow. Here be da schedule an' what I's be doin' in each:
Wendesday: English (vocabulary) and Modern America (Spanish American War to the 1920's)
Thursday: Pre-Calc (conic sections, logs and exponents, sine/cosine/tangent/cosecant/secant/cotangent, and...something else...) and French (household chores and things used for them, physical attributes, and...some other stuff...)
Friday: Physics (Newton's three laws and related topics) and Theology (who cares? I don't pay attention anyway and I missed it because I got out "early".)
Well, that's my hell for the rest of the week. I handed in my Chorus assessment today. 'Change Les Miserables into a high school concert in sixty words or less and cast it using the current chorus but the the exact same people from the play' (it was the school show a year or so ago). o.O How do I do it again...? Well, I have to go study soon so I'll wrap this up ... done!
