Today... was really boring. Seriously. I got up at noon, and I've spent all day on Gaia (my new obsession) or playing Harvest Moon... or both. Well actually it was pretty fun, just a bit... I dunno, uneventful.

Brian called today... It was actually kinda fun talking to him. I have to say, it was the only fun phone conversation that I can remember. Usually phones are really awkward for me. We talked about a lot of things, from the graphics in the new Harvest Moon to... well, a lot of other really random stuff. The best part was probly when he told me to hold on, then yelled to his mom, "I don't need money! I'm living off the fat of the land!" Heh.

Oh yeah, and my mom wanted to watch Fight Club with me. I stupidly agreed. So we watched part of it, then I noticed that she nearly fell asleep, so I paused the movie and said she should go to bed and we'll watch the rest in the morning. So she started childishly arguing about it, saying that she wanted to watch the end of it. So I told her that she probably wouldn't remember any of it, since she had had a few drinks. Her counter arguement was that she would watch it again then. *sigh*

So obviously she was drunk. I finally convinced her to just watch the rest tomorrow, so she started to get ouf ot her chair, and immideately fell on to the floor. She wasn't hurt or anything, but I had to help her up. She kept saying how it wasn't fair that I had to see her like this, and how it wasn't fair that I had to take care of her, etc. I just kinda... made sure she got to bed alright. Hopefully she wont' remember any of it tomorrow... *sigh* Never thought I'd have to be a parent for my mom...

I really hope it doesn't happen again...

Aside from that incident, today went pretty okay. I'm sleepy now. G'night.

So, I'm out of school for the summer. Yay, I guess...

I dunno, it just seemed really anti-climactic. Finals were a joke. The hardest one was math, and only because I had to guess on a whopping four questions. And the last day of school? I was the first one done with the Biology final, so I just like slept the rest of the time... Then in gym, I had already done the mile, so I just sat and talked with James. Bleh. Boooooring.

Then I went to this Coney Island place with Cam, Brian, Tim, Andrew, Liz W, Katharine, umm... and some other person that I don't think I know. There were like 15 people invited and 8 showed up. So we walked there after school, then there was some confusion... the plan was to go to this one park afterwards. But some people didn't know or something...
And then Liz W said that since the park was near her subdivision that we should all go there first. Then all 3 girls left in some car with.. somebody... I guess one of their parents? Oh, and Andrew couldn't go to the park, so he just got a ride home or something.

That left Cam, Brian, Tim, and I to walk like a mile or two... or something to their sub. We didn't even know if we were going the right way at first... So we got there, and we were kinda lost, and Cam thought it would be funny to trick the girls and make them kinda "chase" us around the sub. So we finally met up with them, but they were pissed and said something about how we were mean and we could just go to the park by ourselves...

So we walked like another mile to the park, and again we didn't even know if we were going the right way. And when we finally got there, we..... um.... well basically, we sat for like 2 and a half hours. It was incredibly dull. We could have played tag or something, but Tim was too much of a lazy-ass to get up and do anything. So we just sat. And talked. Most of our conversation was just us talking about how bored we were. I have to say, yesterday was the most boring day I've had in like months.

So yeah. Oh, and Brian and Kora are gone now. Brian will be back int 2 weeks, Kora in a few days. I've probably already mentioned that several times here, but my memory is pretty bad, so whatever.

But I still have friends here... Chris and Cam. Tim doesn't count because he's never online long enough to talk to. Bleh.

I have to say, the most interesting thing that's happened in the past few days is when I spent FOUR HOURS trying to think of a name for my stupid kid in Harvest Moon. I settled on Icarus. In the end it was between that, Tiamat, Deimos, and Ba'al. Heh.

Well, I'm bored as hell right now, so I'm just gonna unpause this videogame here... bye.

I haven't updated in a few days. So sue me.

Then again, it's not like I've been busy... everyone else has been though. Studying for finals and whatnot. (I never study for anything)

I don't know what to say now... Nothing is really going on.

I feel a bit sad... I really want to help a friend, but I don't think there's anything I can do... oh well...

I need a nap.. or something... *sigh*

have a nice day...

Do you believe in global warming? Yes? No? Well, regardless of whether or not you do... SEE INCONVENIENT TRUTH.

If you think that global warming is real, there's a good chance you'll find out how bad it really is.

If you think it's a hoax, your mind will be changed. If it isn't, I'm sorry to say, you are a fucking moron.

That said, the past few days have been pretty okay. Nothing really big happened, other than the previously mentioned Liz going away.

I'm at my brother's for the night. I'm bored so I'm just gonna quote some of the conversations from the car ride after the movie... (it was me, my brother (Matt), his wife (Chrissy), and her brother and sister Leanna and Aaron (not respectively))

Leanna: Ooh, look at the moon...
Matt: Wouldn't it be funny if the moon suddenly exploded right now?
Leanna: I was going to say melt, but then I thought, where would it go?
Chrissy: *laughs* No, it would be better if just a part of it exploded, and it was just a chunk of space debris.

^^That wasn't random...

Leanna: It kinda bugged me that he kept saying the ice age ended, cause we're still in the ice age...
*conversation about what constitutes an ice age*
Tom: Well really, it's only an "ice age" because we say it is... We're not really in anything.
Aaron: What are you talking about, we're in a car!
Chrissy: Tom, we are not getting into a philosophical conversation on existence. *waves hands over Matt and the dashboard of car* Oooh, there is no Matt, there is no car!
Matt: You know how you can tell I'm real?
Chrissy: How?
Matt: *punches Chrissy*
Chrissy: Ow! *swings at Matt's still oustretched arm and horribly misses*
People in backseat: *crack up*
Matt: Did you miss because I don't exist?
Chrissy: *laughing* yes...
Matt: Oh no, I'm having an existensialism crisis!

Bwahahahaa... ^^These people are cool. Mainly Matt and Chrissy though, cause like.. I dunno, I still don't really like Leanna and Aaron much... bleh.

Now I'm gonna go get some pizza... holy monkey it's late for dinner. O_o aaaa need food

10:35 PM - 10:45 PM
I'm sad and yet happy. It's very odd.

I'm sad because some of my friends will be leaving. Tomorrow, Liz is going to Europe and she'll be back in July sometime. A week from today, Brian is leaving for 2 weeks, and Kora for 3-4 days.

I... It's going to be weird, especially without Liz. You may not know this, but Liz keeps me sane. (Well, really it's Liz and Chris, but really if you remove either I start to... well, let's just say I'm not as emotionally stable as I could be.)

But I'm also happy, because Liz has been looking forward to this for a long time. She's excited about going, so I'm happy for her. I'll live. It will be weird, and maybe even depressing at times, but everything will be okay. Life is good.

Friends are better.

I'm going to go now. Goodnight, anyone who reads this.

Why the fuck do some people like to argue so much? I like to argue, yeah, but only because I enjoy proving points and stuff. Which is why I like proofs in geometry. But some people just argue about everything all the time! I admit, I argue about stupid things. But at least I give it a rest after a while.

I just had like an hour and a half long argument about the pronunciation of a japanese word with Cam. He keeps telling me "you're not japanese, we're in america, pronounce it the american way!"

Wtf? Who says they have to be different? It's a japanese word, why wouldn't I use the japanese pronunciation? "durr, cause we're in america!"

And being in america has what to do with pronouncing foreign words? Well, only that the majority of the population will pronounce it wrong. LIke the Rio Grande. It's "gran-day", not "grand"! It's spanish! They say things differently in that language, you know.

Same in japanese. You know, any word in japanese can be very easily written in english without skewing the pronunciation. (not the same the other way around, I'm afraid)

There's a character for "ah". It's written as "a" here. And it's always pronounced "ah". Simple enough, right? But no, because english has like 3 different ways of pronouncing one stupid letter. So it "ah-nee-may" becomes "an-i-may". Just because more people say it that way doesn't mean it's right... And I refuse to say it the "american way"; that's like saying I should speak like a hick if I go to Texas. And there's no way that's ever happening.

I don't care how other people say japanese words, but I'm going to say them correctly, no matter where I am. I don't start these stupid-ass arguments, they do. I wish they would just leave me the fuck alone... I'm so sick of this...

._.

Well, some stuff has happened over the past few days... not much though. Let's see... Monday, uh... Okay, screw it, I don't remember anything from Monday, Tuesday, or today.

Except that... well, I'm addicted to Harvest Moon again. It's so fun! I love it. I started a new file to show my friend who wouldn't shut up about his game... mah, anyway...

awww! It's a little racoon! *little pink hearts*

I mean uh.. *ahem* anyway!

Nevermind. I have nothing else to say right now. Life seems to be good. Kinda.
