-Anatomy Test

Tuesday
-3-5 page paper due (was assigned Thursday)
-2 1-page essays and worksheet due
-American Literature test
-Western Civilization test

Wednesday
-Anatomy Lab test (labeling every bone in the body)

Thurday
-Cry in a corner

Pumpkins
Unless you're color blind, you may have noticed that my layout has become...orange. Why? I just felt that the black background was too dark and uninviting, and I wanted people to feel more comfortable in coming to my site. I could have really tried to pimp it out, but I'm waiting on any big changes until Version Vibrant. I don't want to put a lot of effort into a site design and let it go to waste.

Also, I'm trying to figure out how to make my new site fun without killing computers everywhere. But hey, I'm trying!

I'll probably be reaching out to all of you with my next post, so please stay tuned!

MLK and Playoff Results
Happy MLK day everyone! Enjoy your time off, but don't forget why we have it. MLK was a great man, and he deserve a lot of respect and praise.

Giants 23, Packers 20
Wow, this was perhaps the surprise of the playoffs. Even though I picked the Packers, I'm glad the Giants won. So me and my brother tied at 1-1 this weekend, putting the head-to-head records at:

Me: 4-2
My brother: 3-3 (6-4 overall)

So unless we pick the Super Bowl different (which isn't likely), I've won! That's all for today, but keep checking back for more.

An Icy Reprieve
No classes today thanks to winter weather. But did that stop my teachers from giving me homework via email? No chance!

I think Adam's newest VV announcement concerning background images is going to make a lot of people very happy. I'm looking forward to any new sections that are coming our way (PLEASE let there be video games!). His new "group blog" feature is already light-years ahead of anything I've ever seen on a social networking website!

Playoff Picks: Results
This weekend turned out to be crazier than I thought, but it worked in my favor. Final results:

Giants over Cowboys
Chargers over Colts
Packers over Seahawks
Patriots over Jaguars

So this put me at 3-1 for the weekend, with my brother coming up at 2-2 (overall, he's 5-3). I'm leading the head-to-head, and there's only three games left, so it's crunch time. Picks for next weeks games should be up on Friday or Saturday.

In other news, SSB: Brawl announced a challenge system today. It's has a "X-Box accomplishments" feel to it, but you actually unlock useful stuff, like stages and such. I'm really looking forward to this game, and I'm hoping to play against some people from MyO once it's out.
