   Dark Wings
this is a story I have about 12 pages of (and I'm still writing it) This is just the first "part" of it, since I don't make chapters all that much...I might go back when I'm done and do that...the first paragraph-thingy is in a different font than everything else, but it won't show on this post... *psh* this is the first page:

“Kimari, we’re not doing this out of hate, but out of…well, we have to protect ourselves,” the council looked down at me sadly. I spit at their feet, as good an aim that I could get from being tied on the floor.
“Just say it, you hate me,” I snapped, glaring up at them, “Say it so I can hunt you down in a later life!”
They just shook their heads and sighed in unison.
“Say it or get on with the binding! I hate waiting and you know it!” I growled from the floor. All six council members lifted their hands together and murmured the binding spell. I screamed in agony, and a thought from one of the council members flickered over my thoughts.
‘You won’t be given a second life, not until the binds are broken, but until then, you will be trapped. When they do break, we will find you again, and bind you once more.’ I knew exactly who it was. That little [insert curse word of choice here] was always telling me things to get my spirit down. I’ll show him…I’ll show them all…
With one final screech, my body was gone, my soul bound…and my life anew…

“Hey, Steffie, I didn’t think to see you here,” I heard a male voice behind me.
‘Oh, great, not him again,’ I thought, looking for a place to hide.
“Hey Steffie,” he repeated, sitting down right next to me. It was Alex Tamara, and I hated his guts. He knew it, too! His red-brown hair shined in the sunlight, and his blue eyes shined with a smile.
“What do you want now, Alex?” I snapped, turning to look at him. The whole girl population of Shari High loved Alex…everyone, but me.
“I just wanted to eat lunch with you today,” he said. I looked around for another place to sit or an escape route. None came except cold glares from other girls that were watching the whole conversation. I returned their glares fiercely and turned back to Alex.
“But why me?” I groaned. He laughed loudly and looked around also.
“They are all glaring at you…” he started.
“Because you’re sitting with me,” I cut him off. His smile showed all of his pearly whites.
“And all the guys are glaring at me,” he said.
“Why would they?” I asked with a snort. None of the guys, or girls for that matter, even talked to me. They even avoided me.
“You don’t know what you look like…do you?” he asked, throwing me off guard.
“Um, what?”
“I shouldn’t even have to say it. You’re as wonderful to look at as the moon goddess herself,” he said, weaving his arm around my waist, but I wouldn’t take it. I slapped his arm away.
“Can you just leave me alone like everyone else?” I asked. He just laughed playfully, and stayed sitting next to me.
I glared at him and got up, since the bell was going to ring soon. He got up with me and grabbed my stuff before I could stop him.
Let me explain about Alex. He is sort of a new student, since he just moved to this area a few months ago, before school started and has made a big effort to try and be my friend. I was fine with everyone not talking to me and avoiding me, but now they hate me also. I just couldn’t win at this school. And to top it all, I have no clue why he would want to be my friend.
Suddenly a thought went across my mind, not my own, ‘Are you so sure?’
‘Now I have other voices in my head? Am I schizophrenic?’ I thought wildly, and the other…thing chuckled darkly.
‘You really don’t know?’ it asked me, ‘I am sitting right next to you, Steffie, or should I say Kimari?’
