20 More Days and a Snowy One at That

We got out early today because of snow. *wide grin* Our principal, after handing over the news, waited a minute before talking again, so that we could go wild.
Oooo, new poem (and I think some of ya might like it). It's a cliche poem surrounding the cliche of a knight in shining armor riding off on a white stallion to save the damsel in distress from the fire-breathing dragon:
"Damsel in Disappointment"
My knight in shining armor
That you need to oil a little more,
I could hear you riding over
When you hadn’t even gotten a mile away
And as you took your grand time
With all that armor, the fire-breathing dragon
Decided it was bored, and marched off,
No longer wanting to wait for neither you
Nor your white horse, shining armor and all.
And let me remind you, I was here for hours
Before I started to hear that god-forsaken armor
Clanking and banging to deliver you, knight,
To save me from the now-nonexistent dragon.
You’d better have a good excuse ready
Or I’ll take that white stallion, and ride off
Into that sunset, leaving you alone to
Think over why I left you sitting on your
Rump, getting grass stains on that
Worthless tin contraption you fancy to be armor.
