   Time off uni, an update!
I've got this week off university so I've found some time to update my blog, probably a long post :)

A lot of things have happened in the last month, at the start of February it actually SNOWED in my town.
A miracle by any account, since I haven't seen any in nearly 10 years. It was only about an inch of snow but it was still cool.
I went outside and played in it for an hour, after that my hands and face had frozen stiff :)
I tried to make a snowman, but there wasn't enough snow for it :(
That was at night, but I took some pictures in the morning.
I have uploaded them to some web space that was kindly provided by a friend of mine at uni, drop by his companies website, just a little plug there :)
His company makes websites for people in the UK.

The snow had all melted by the time I got back from university :(

I also upgraded to 600kbit internet, so my 120 GB hard drive is quickly filling up with anime :)

All Legacy encodes, mainly distro only ones :)

Stop by the Jailbreak website and check on the tournament.
The team I’m on (Team Parole) is in the semi's, just waiting for a date now :)

I've also been playing the Unreal Tournament 2004 Demo a lot as well, mainly Onslaught, one of the coolest game types I’ve played in ages, mainly because of the new addition of vehicles to it :)))

I recommend everyone play it at least once, the demo is a 200MB download I think.

I went to the Orthopedist at the local hospital on Friday, which was fun :P
It took 30 minutes to get there because of road works next to the hospital.
Then I had to wait an hour in the X-Ray waiting room till I was called in :(
Only had to wait 5 minutes to see the orthopedist after that though.

The story is that I have a very big problem with my shoulder muscles, they are very lax, and this means I can pop out my shoulders, whether it be voluntary or involuntary.
If I don't get it treated my shoulder joints could become arthritic :(

Anyway, the doctor played around with shoulders, he was able to pop out the joints on both my shoulders in all directions (down, forwards and backwards).
He looked very surprised when my left joint popped back in quite violently, it doesn't hurt to pop them in and out, so it didn't bother me.

The diagnosis is that I have a rare shoulder muscle thing (can't remember the medical term).
I have been given a 6-month course of physiotherapy for them, if after a year, my shoulders show no sign of improvement, they might operate :S

The operation isn't very successful, and very very very painful to recover from :(

SOoooo, I’m going to work my arse off at physiotherapy.

University is quite hard at the moment, I have 6 assignments to do at the moment, the deadlines for them are a week after each other, which is fun :P

I did do something interesting in my C Programming lab last week, I wrote some code that generates lottery tickets and put's them in a nicely formatted notepad TXT file. Each ticket is sorted into ascending order of the numbers, it also removes duplicate numbers :)
It can generate as many tickets as you want :)

I’m doing the System Architecture one at the moment, mainly because the deadline is Monday :(
Don't think I’ll bother coding it, too hard.
The design is worth 60% of the mark anyway :)
So I’ll just do loads of that instead.

Lastly, I took a picture of myself on Friday (was bored), thought I should post a better one than that one I took at Christmas. (About 500k).

   Doing Fine.
Thought I'd write an update :)

Well, my cold is gone now so I’m in a much better mood.

University is good at the moment as well, probably because we haven't got the second term assignments yet, heh.

I did do a lot of programming in my breaks yesterday and I was able to do the first 8 exercises for this week, the 8th one was a bubble sort algorithm designed to sort strings into alphabetical order.
Due to the way C works the algorithm actually sorts the letters into uppercase first, then lowercase, which is cool.

I ordered a new 120GB hard drive on Monday afternoon, got here at 9:30am on Tuesday, very fast delivery by any standard.

   Bleh, update.
Hello people,
I'm writing this one at university, purely because I’m bored and I don't feel well enough to do any work, which means this is going to be a long day, since I don't finish till 5pm today, and it's only 12pm at the moment.

Anyway, what have I been doing the last few weeks?
Not much to be honest, just getting back into the university routine of working and such.

One thing I did do was buying all of cowboy bebop on DVD this month from www.playusa.com.
I'm not very happy so far, it cost me £120 to buy all the DVD's, which I didn't mind, because that is what I expected it to be, BUT and a big BUT, I didn't expect to pay another £30 in import VAT and fucking royal mail clearance fee's :(((

So it has cost me £150 to buy all the DVD's now, unfortunately there is nothing I can do about this since there was something in the Terms and Conditions of PlayUSA that doesn't hold them responsible.

Shit happens, and it seems to happen to me a lot.

I feel a bit shite at the moment, I think I’m coming down with a cold, which should be very fun :P

Anyway...
I've always talked about Jailbreak a lot, of course I still play it, just not as much as I’d like now that I’m back at university.

If you visit the jailbreak homepage (www.planetjailbreak.com) you'll see we are holding a Tournament at the moment, which is cool.
I'm the reserve player on Team Parole :)))
I get to play with the mappers and designers of the game, which is very, cool :))

Providing I get to play (I’m the reserve player) my first match will be on Thursday this week, we get to play the lovely ][apitate (Decapitate) team first, bah.

If my grammar was fairly decent, this post might have made some sense :)

   MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
Hello to you all :)
It's still christmas day in this timezone.

Firstly, what did I get?

My main present was a 4 Megapixel digital camera.
Very cool, here is my ugly mug :)
I had to scale down the picture (was 2272 x 1704) and get rid of the dreaded red eye ;)

The t-shirt was a present as well.
By the way, I did have eyebrows, but when my eczema was really bad i scratched most of them off :(
They haven't grown back :(

Me and my family went to my nan's for a couple of hours at lunchtime.
We all chatted, exchanged gifts and such, was nice.
Came home and had a big christmas lunch made by my dad, thanks dad, was really great :)

We've all just spent the rest of the day chilling out, played a few games of Trivial Pursuit.

Going to watch Kenshin 59 now.

   Hoi Hoi
I was going to write last night but I was too tired, or I forgot, I can't remember which.

Yesterday was a good day.
I went to a little party at my uncle's house (mum's brother) to celebrate my grandparent’s 50th wedding anniversary (wow!).
My grandfather jokingly pointed out that he could have served a shorter life sentence :D

It was great, my parents and uncle cooked a meal for us all, which was delicious.
I ate food and drank champagne till I couldn't move :D
Well, it was my breakfast, lunch and dinner :)
We were there for about 5 hours talking, eating and drinking. I enjoyed myself.

I spent the rest of the day chilling out and digesting all that food, hehe.

Not sure what to do today, probably just watch anime like I do most days, been watching a lot of kenshin (distro access is good).
I'm up to episode 38 at the moment :)

Anyway, not much else to say.
