   can't think of one :D
Can't say i've done much today.
I figured out how to do a part of my programming assignment :)

Programming Assignment 1
That's the assignment incase your interested :)

Played a bit of Jail Break (JB) today (what a suprise, hehe).
There were some people on there pissing me off tonight.
I sometimes like to play JB to get rid of some tension (I was tonight), i'm sure you can appreciate that fragging the crap out of people is quite good at that.
But even if i'm in a stressed mood I always like to play fair, and not do lame things.

These people were being a bunch of fucking lamers, you've guessed it, they were all from the same clan, playing with the same player model and skin, how fucking sad is that.
I'm not sure what the name of the clan was, mainly because they were too lazy to think up a clan tag.
They just put ]namehere[, that's not a tag, that's a lazy clan leader.

Anyway, there were a couple of lame things that they ALL did, not just one, ALL.
Must be some stupid clan "tactic".
They spawn kill, if it happens once, i don't mind, but 4+ times is a joke, and is not on, and just pissed me off.
I really hope i don't have to play them in the upcoming JB (friendly) tournament.

Some people might say "why not fight fire with fire", mainly because i don't want to snoop to spawn killing, or release killing (which is EVEN WORSE), that's just fucking lame and i don't want to sink to that level.

I'm not sure if that little rant made any sense, but i just had to write this down to release the tension i couldn't shift on the JB server.

I feel a bit better now, it's midnight now, better go take my anti-allergy pill, I'm allergic to dust, cats and pollen incase your wondering.

Goodnight and Peace Out readers :)

Good Day
Today was good, i slept in till 11am got up and went to Argos with my dad to get my christmas present.
I've asked for a digital camera and they had a 4 Million Pixel one reduced to £115 :)

We bought that and then went to home (needed some breakfast, it was 1pm!!) and then went out with my sister and dad to visit my grandparents (always a joy :P).
That took a couple of hours, it wasn't too bad to be honest, saw on the news while i was there that they finally got that mofo saddam hussein.
I personally thought they would just shoot him once they found him.
I doubt they execute him beacuse they will just piss off all those terroists (what a bunch of sheep!!) that love him so much, fuck knows why.

I played some JailBreak tonight, quite alot of people there, mainly because it's lockdown night :)
There was a few people pissing me off, not sure why, they were just pissing me off.
MoS|Q|uito, what a fucking stupid name, was the main one, though because of that fragging him gave me a great sense of pleasure.
I even shouted out in delight on the voice chat program that i use while playing, as to the amusement of the other regulars on there.

HEYA BOOST, if your reading this :) Hehe.

Can't say I've done much else today, if you feel like trying to frag my ass at JailBreak, stop by www.planetjailbreak.com and download it, or even post on the forum (i'm Katana on there).

Goodnight otaku's, and other readers ;)

   Finally!!!!
It was my last day of term at university today, and about fucking time.
I spent 4 hours doing my maths assignment in neat so that I could hand it in, and i did, but i didn't do some of the questions (relational algebra, sets and universe of discourse), too damn hard!!!

I did get some help in programming support from suzy cutts with my programming assignment.
Thanks to suzy my code is now alot more efficent, hell, I was able to get rid of a function.
The program and it's functions total around 400 lines of code now :)

My last lecture, i use that word lightly, wasn't really great, me and 5 others showed up (woo fooking hoo!!) and we got to see some of the christmas sites that we were supposed to have made.
The guys doing ours didn't finish it :(
the unfinished version is still up at http://www.amusingcrap.com if you really want to see what most of my lecturers look like :D

I've been chilling out most of today, been doing a bit of work on my C program, finding the bugs and major flaws.
I've gotten rid of the obvious flaws, just a couple of minor ones that don't stop the program working, more cosmetic really.

It's, bloody hell, it's 1am, fooking hell, didn't realise it was that late.
Better go take my anti-histimine and get some sleep.

Goodnight Everybody
Peace Out :D

   Done.
I went out yesterday and bought a tie, shirt and a pair of trousers for my presentation, with the help of my mum :)
Also got my haircut, Grade 3 shave on the back and sides, with a french crop on the top.

After that I came home and spent most of the day working on my presentation, the slides, the speech etc...

I did play a few games of JailBreak on the mothership server. kicking ass as usual :D

I got up this morning as was a bit nervous about doing my presentation, i had practiced it alot the night before but i was sure i'd miss a few things out that i would like to say.
i put on my suit and i must say that i looked very smart and i felt a strange confidence that comes with wearing a suit, you almost command a kind of respect that comes with it.
After my first lecture (system's architecture) i walked over to the room with most of seminar groupand after the first few people presented it was my turn....

I stood up and gave out some A4 handouts that i made loaded up my slides, took a look at my notes, started the stop watch on my mobile phone (Nokia 3310), and started talking.
I think I talked a bit too fast but I kept my cool and apart from pausing a couple of times to look at my notes and catch my breath, I think it went well.
It was meant to be 8 minutes long but the stop watch showed around 6 and a half, if I was thinking on my feet I could have loaded up the Dell website to show off some of the features that I talked about to pad out the extra time. I didn't think to do this until I sat down :(
Overall I'm glad I did it and that it is out of the way.

I had another lecture and a couple of seminars before I could home at 4pm.
It's the last day tomorrow and i'm very glad it is, I'm starting to fade now, and the weeks are feeling longer and longer and I really need a break to restore my energy level's.

I don't think I've mentioned it before but I have an illness called Myalgic Encephalopathy or M.E. for short.

If you want to know about this
Click Here for some useful information.
I am a member of AYME incase your wondering.

I'm going to bed soon, I'm all mosturised and cotton suited (can't find a website to describe this, hehe) and i've taken my anti-histimine pill (the drowsy kind).

Goodnight People.
Live Long and Prosper _\\// (hehe)

   Been a While
It's certainly been a while since I posted on here, I've been really busy with university the last couple of months and I just forgot about myOtaku blog.

A few things have changed on here from what I can see, you can have pictures in posts now :)
If anyone can tell me how to have a custom background on my post page please let me know :)

Anyway, university has been going well, I've made some friends :) and I am enjoying the student life.

I am feeling a bit swamped by all the assignments we've been given, I have 4 on the go and I have to give a formal presentation tomorrow, which I haven't even practised yet :S

My programming assignment has gone well (C programming) I have 95% of thw code working, commented and kind of debugged ;)
I just have to write the pseudocode for it now, which is basically an english version of the code.

The course is alot more difficult than i expected but there's nothing like a challenge, and it's very rewarding when you finally solve a problem :D

I finally got this new PC working that I was given, it took 2 months to solve the problem (stupid technical support), they sent out the head repair manager (mike) and he re-installed Windows XP Home which solved the network card problem and let my use the net :)

After a few hours on the net, the damn PC caught the MSblast worm, which (with the help of mike) I was able to get rid of, phew.

I also bought a Dreamcast off eBay, which was a nightmare. Took 3 weeks to get here, only after I had chased up the seller to the point that he was probably sick enough of me to just send it.
It came with no power or TV leads so I left a complaint on eBay :p

Luckily, during the time I was sick of waiting so I bought a fully boxed, great condition Dreamcast with 2 pads, 4 games and a memory card out the local paper for £25.
Quite a bargain since the one on eBay cost me £50 (£15 of which was P&P, RIP OFF!!!!)
I'm now keeping that one for spares incase anything goes wrong with the decent one.

It's a great little console, been playing Sonic Adventure on it for ages, I have got another 13 games for it, I'm sure I'll get round to playing them eventually :D

I am still watching loads of anime, when I find the time. I got distro access (donated $30) to a encoding group (Legacy-Anime on DC++) so I can get loads of anime (full metal panic, kenshin, hack sign, SDK).
Full Metal Panic and Kenshin are my favourite ones at the moment, I'm upto Kenshin 31 and FMP 12 and they keep getting better.
Hopefully I'll be able to upgrade my 'net connection to 600kbit next year, GoodBye hard drive space :D

Another thing I'll mention, I got on a clinical trial at a hospital 30 miles from here, it's to do with atopic eczema, which I have severely. They hope to be able to turn the eczema "OFF".

If you want to read more about it then here is the Link TextTrial Info

Back to the present, today I'm going to buy a shirt, tie and a pair of smart trousers for my FORMAL presentation tomorrow, I'm doing it on Dell Computers.

Might get my hair cut as well, my fringe (I think there called bangs in USA) is getting too long to stick up with gel.
I'll put a pic of myself on here when I can afford a decent digital camera (next student loan payment).

I think that's enough for now.
Bye.

   University
I haven't written anything in days because I have done nothing worth mentioning BUT I'm writing this blog from UNIVERSITY which is very cool, I got my user/pass this morning and I tried it out and it worked :))

I'm still kinda nervous and annoyed because I was told that this would be enrolment day and its induction day :( which means I get no student loan check or anything :(

I'm gonna be here till 4pm by the looks of it, I'm alone on the campus as well, no friends :( yet ;)

I did talk to a few people in the lecture hall where we registered and they seemed on the same sort of wavelength nerd/geek wise :) so thats pretty cool.

I'm gonna go get some lunch and a drink with the few measly quid I got on me after I've calmed down a bit by browsing the net and such :D

I might write another blog later to update, I just wanted to write this while I can still remember everything cos i'm quite nervous and won't remember everything later :)

See Ya Later peeps :D

   A Day Late :)
I forgot to write my blog last night, I guess I just went to bed without realising, Anyway......

Yesterday I went down the College where I did my National Diploma and picked up my
OFFICIAL NATIONAL DIPLOMA CERTIFICATE :)))))))))))))))))

It looks really cool as well, with the little silver holographic mark in the bottom corner and stuff. I'm well chuffed about it :))

I started downloading Command & Conquer Generals: Zero Hour at around 4pm off a 100mbit server.
It's the expansion pack for C&C Generals, This is the first RTS (Real-Time Strategy) I've played so I got the expansion pack for it as well.
It adds a bit of spice to the game, new weapons and vehicles, and headaches trying to figure out how to defeat the missions :)

I played a bit of UT Jailbreak while that was downloading.

Haven't done much today (20th sep), I've just sat around chatting on direct connect and watching Street Fighter 2 V.
I also, you've guessed it, played some UT Jailbreak.

It's 12:53am so I'm going to bed now,
Goodnight.

   Chilling
Today was a pretty chilled out day for me.

A market research woman came round at midday and did a follow up to a survey I did 2 years ago.
The thing is I have no memory of taking one 2 years ago :S
The survey was about what I had done since leaving school and the support I recieved.
that took all of an hour to finish.

I also got a letter in the post this morning from the college I just finished my National Diploma at.
I can finally go and pick up my official certificate :)))
Haven't really had a proper course certificate apart from my crappy GCSE ones, so it should be cool to have them :D

I've spent the rest of the day chilling out.

Played a few games of C&C Generals and watched Episodes 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18 of Street Fighter 2 V.
I find it a really interesting anime since I played the old street fighter games on my Mega Drive.
I probably played them too much, I even got street fighter thumb from those pointy MD pads :)

I also played a few games of UT Jailbreak at 9pm. This is the only game I really play online since there are alot of regular players that I get along with and can chat with on voice chat *^_^*
I also find the game is a good outlet for any pent up anger and frustration, although it can cause it as well ;)

Anyway, thats another day in the life of me :)

   Great day
I went over to my Mum's friends house to see if I could get her NTL Broadband (NTHELL!!) working, but to no avail after 3 long hours going through system and network settings.
/me kicks NTL in the nuts :D

Her friend Ed was a blast as well, he showed me all his cool re-enactment weapons.
there were a few cheaper blunt swords but they could still knock you into next week :)

There was this really cool sword, kinda like a 2 foot hunting knife but the handle has a semicircle of sharp spikes around it (most deadly) and he also had a 50lb (string strength) draw crossbow which was very cool indeed.

After all that he did a short display with his fire chains. Words cannnot discribe how amazing and cool these displays look :))

Me, Ed and my mum's friend then sat down and had a few beers and i even tried some mead, very weird stuff but very nice and sweet.
Only way to describe it is like liquid honey but 14.5% alcohol :))

Spent the rest of the night chatting and listening to some damn funny adam sandler songs like At A Medium Pace (download it now!!!!)

Got back here at midnight and now i'm just chilling out before i hit the sack.

Goodnight Peeps :)

   Hello fellow Otaku's
This is my first post since i signed up when the new otaku site was launched a while ago.

Today i went to the university near me to sort out some stuff that i'm being allocated by university for my special needs.

I can look forward to a new PC (P4 2.4GHz, 512Mb DDR 333MHz, XP Home), and i'll finally have a new printer, this Epson 640 is starting to show its age.

It was a really nice day today, 26 Celcius and clear skies, was really nice strolling through the campus :)

I came home after the meeting and chilled out till Gundam Seed 48 had finished downloading on mIRC.

That series just gets better and better, can't wait to see who wins the war and if ZAFT destroy the moon base with there Genesis Gamma Ray Cannon.

I played Jailbreak (www.planetjailbreak.com) for an hour or so with a few of the regular server players.

I've just spent the rest of the chilling out and chatting on the Direct Connect hub i hang out on most of the day (Legacy-Anime.d2g.com) for anyone who knows what DC is :)
My name is Katana on there incase u do join.

Have fun and chill Otaku's :)
