Universe (S3 Mix)
Well...here I am again with some more news o my life.

On tuesday, a friend had contacted me and hired me to make some character designs for an upcoming animated show. Well...I can't say hired since he's not paying me...nor did we talk about payment, so I guess it's just a favor. Anyway, he told me to re-invent myself... and start drawing in the american cartoon style. He also told me to "draw my heart with my mind's eye". Only two of you will get the irony of that. But yeah... I've been drawing in styles I didn't think I'd ever draw in, but I hope my friend approves of at least one of them.

Another thing that had happen to me was that the Marines came to my house. Yeah, you read it...Marines. It actually began when I went to gamestop to reserve KOF06 and apply for a job there. I walked in and I saw these two Marine recruiters talking to some guys. I, dont like the Marines, and I walked to the counter and waited for a Gamestop worker to take my reservation. While I waited, I started looking over the upcoming games list to see if they really did change the release date for KOF06. They did and just as a Gamestop employee walked to the counter to help me, a Marine recruiter came and started talking to me. I cursed my bad luck in my head and I started talking back and having a conversation with him (I didn't want to be a jackass and just ignore him). So we talked about what I liked to do and what I had planned in the future and crap like that. After we were dne talking, we agreed that he should come to my house and I could HEAR WHAT HE HAD TO SAY ABOUT THE BENEFITS OF BEING IN THE MARINES. I capitalized that cause for a reason...you see. Anyway, the next day came by and they came at exactly the time that they said they would be. The same Marine recruiter came by and he told me that before we talked, that I should TAKE A TEST TO SEE IF I'M MENTALLY PREPARED TO JOIN THE MARINES... not talk, but take a fuckin' test! I could have said "no" but I decided to waste some of their time and said "yes". I took the test and I since I'm horrible at math, I failed... that and there's was this one section I didn't do because it said not to go to that section until being told so... little did I know that I was supposed to have ignored it and moved on to take it. Anyways, after that they left and I went on with my life.

Oh, and just in case you were wondering, I did reserve KOF06 and apply for a job at Gamestop.

Well...that's pretty much all I can remember right now. I'll see ya in a couple of days. Abayo!

Fatal Fight ver. 1
Well...since the song I'm listening to is from Xenosaga, let's start with that. Two days ago I went to reserve Xenosaga Episode 3. Before anyone says something about Xenosaga, I first have to say that this is my first Xenosaga game. I know it's weird but let me explain.

Back when the first Xenosaga was going to be released, I was pretty excited with the gameplay videos that they showed. I was planning to get it from the start, but what kept me from buying it was the fact that it was going to be a six part series. That was when I said, "oh f*ck this". But now that it's only a 3 part series, I can get it. What I'm going to do is get episode 3 but not play it. Instead I'm going to buy episodes 1 and 2 and play those first. So please...no spoilers, and don't say that I'm going to like or dislike certain characters or events.

Moving on... Yesterday, I went to see Clerks 2 again. Yeah I'm a nerd, but I'm willing to go see it again. This time, I went with my brother to go see it, and it was out of the blue because he asked if I wanted to go to best buy, which I said yes, and from best buy we went to the theaters instead of going home. I gotta say... I haven't heard my brother laugh so hard...ever. He said the movie was pretty good, but I knew he loved it.

Well...I guess that's it.

Don't forget to reserve your copy of KOF2006 and Dirge of Cerberus!

Metro Train
First of all, Metro Train is the name of a track they play for the last boss, Karai, in TMNT the Tournament Fighters. Even to this day, I love that track and I have a hard time beating her.

So...not much happened to me but I'll try to rememeber as many things that are noteworthy. The weekend that I last posted, I got to see Clerks 2. Man, that movie is incredible. I'm going to go back and watch it with the commentary.

Also, last weekend I went to the mall and met up with Firespitter, Cloud sama, and Otemba. They wanted me to play DDR and I did....and boy, I sucked. I need to get back to practicing... but I won't. I also played KOF2000 and I just realized that I'm getting better at playing the arcade version. Before this, Firespitter and I used to go one or two matches against each other and the the other would win, but this time, I completely beat him. The last time I played it was a long time ago.

After leaving the mall, Firespitter and I went to best buy. There, he got the next two My-Hime dvds while I got a Dane Cook CD and the Sonic Mega Collection Plus game on the PS2.

Well...I guess that's it for now. Abayo!

Rising Sun
Man...It kinda sucks when I'm absent for such a long time and I don't have much to say... I'll try to make this one lenghthy.

After a good six months, I finally got to talk to a friend of mine who had been overseas. We talked for quite some time. It was mostly about what I did over these six months. He told me about some cool places where he had been and I must say...I was pretty damn jealous of him when he said he got to buy some Calorie Mates.

Also, one of my other friends went to AX and he brought me some stuff (pins, posters, & a dvd) along with some merch that I gave him money for to buy. He got me two DOA figures, a MGS2 figure, and a DMC2 figure (...I didn't have much at the time I gave him the money). He also went to see HYDE in concert. He got some t-shirts and some posters from there too, but I didn't get any since I'm not a fan. I'm not saying that I hate him, it's just that I haven't listened to any of his CDs.

I think that's pretty much it for now. I don't think I have anything else worth mentioning except that I can't wait to see CLERKS 2.

Crimson Shadow
Nothing worth mentioning here except that a couple of days ago I noticed that it's been a bit more than a year since I first joined myotaku so... thanks to all of you who signed my guestbook, checked out my art and rated it, and a special thanks goes out to my friend who told me about this place, Otemba.

Crimson Shadow
Where was I...? Oh yeah!

During the entire festival, I helped at only one booth, the Red Apple Tree game. The actual game consisted of a tree (entirely made out of, of course, wood) with seven holes on the tree. The very top hole was used for decoration and what they did with it was that they had a snake look like it was coming out of that hole. Anyways, the remaining six holes had apples (made out of wood) that can be knocked down. What you had to do was wether how much you paid, you'd get a certain amount of beanbags ($0.50 for 3, and $1 for 6)to knock down the apples. Depending on how many you've knocked down, you could choose a prize from a certain selection.

Despite how much we charged, that booth made a killing. There were little kids and adults trying to knock down the apples so they could get a water gun or a doll. Man, we were busy all the time...we were really tired by the end of the day.

That reminds me...at the end of the day, there was a huge water gun fight. There were many casualties... few were left dry. I was hit hard... and I had fun too... loads of fun. It's an experience that'll last for quite some time.

One more thing before I go... I was called Milo for some reason... I don't know why.

What Are You Looking for on the Other Side of Victory
I'll begin by saying that this weekend was pretty freakin' incredible.

On saturday, I went with my friend, Firespitter, to an anime store. There you could rent dvds or just buy some figures and stuff. Since there wasn't anything that was worth buying (well, there was but I didn't buy it anyway) Firespitter rented an anime called Yami to Boushi to Hon no Tabibito. I only saw the first four episodes and I gotta say... if Firespitter won't buy it, I will.

On sunday, it was time I gave the signs I drew to the church so they could use it on the festival. Unfortunately, two of the ten signs I drew went in the trash (one of them was the one that I worked hard on and was kinda proud of drawing) because those games were changed with different ones. After giving the signs to the one in charge I went directly to 12 o' clock church (as I always do every sunday). At the beginning of the day, I had come in with the intention to turn in those signs, go to church and go to the arcade for the rest of the day..........at the end of church I decided to stay and help out. Why I stayed and helped out in the festival is beyond me.... not really, actually there was a dunking booth and the person that was in charge of the festival (who is also the person I hate and the person who cornered me into drawing the signs) was going to the be dunked and there is no way in HELL that I was going to miss this.

Well, I got to go right now, but tomorrow I'll go into a bit more detail as to where I helped and all the messed up things that happened over there in the festival.

That Day Was the Last Day I Saw Your Smile
Man... I got screwed today.

As I was leaving church, the old lady that's in charge of 95% of the church's activities caught up to me and asked me if I wanted to help out with drawing signs for a festival that the church was going to have next week. Unfortunately for me, my father was there and before I could say no, the supplies I needed to draw the signs were on my hands. Now I'm stuck with drawing church appropriate signs for the festival. It's bad enough that I'm not getting anything out of this, but the fact that I'm being forced to do this really irritates me.

Also, I deleted a few more pictures. I think that's all the pics I'm going to keep for now.

One more thing... you've probably heard about this but the big news that Nintendo had for the upcoming Smash Bros. game was that Solid Snake was going to be a playable character. I don't about you but when I saw that video, for that moment, I forgot about everything else and focused on getting that game the day it comes out.

Well, that's pretty much it for now.

Silent Hill 4 - Room of Angel
That song from Silent Hill 4 is... pretty messed up at first, but then I grew fond of it.

Hey, how's it going?

A couple of days ago I saw Dead Leaves and Kai Doh Maru. Dead Leaves, while short in length, was pretty freakin' crazy from start to finish. My jaw dropped at certain parts of the movie (mainly the scenes with the guy with a drill between his legs). One of the things that I didn't like in the movie was how it ended. I thought they could've shown a bit more. I may or may not decide to buy it on DVD... probably just rent it.

As for Kao Doh Maru...I really don't know what to say. I was confused at first because they kept on referring to Kintoki as a prince (implying that he was a boy) but his voice was clearly a girl's. I didn't find out until later that she was disguised as a boy (I looked it up on ANN). I don't remember if they explained it in the anime or not. Anyways, I liked the color they used, the action scenes were pretty good, and I kinda liked the ending (there aren't that many endings in movies or anime these days).

Also, I got to finish watching Maburaho and all I got to say is... I don't ever want to see that episode again. This is one of the stupidest endings I've seen. I know that the director was trying to end the show in a humorous note, but it just made me hate it.

Anyway, I deleted some of the pics in my portfolio because I thought they weren't that good to begin with and... I might delete some more later on.

That's it for now. Abayo!

Rumble Roses - Look to the Sky
Alright! It's tuesday! That means that E3 has started and we'll soon get some news on the next gen consoles and the games that'll be released soon!

I can't wait to hear news about MGS4, RE5, DMC4, and the PS3.

That aside, I saw the Final Fantasy Advent Children movie on saturday and...I thought it was ok. If I hadn't watched all those trailers I might've thought it was a kickass movie. My friend said that before he watched the movie, he thought that he had seen the entire movie through the trailers, and that after watching it, he was wrong. If he was referring to the action scenes, I'd disagree. They showed every action scene in the trailers except the Cloud vs. Sephiroth fight. What I did like about the movie was seeing Sephiroth getting his ass handed to him again...and that Aerith makes more than one appearance in the movie.

After watching the movie, Firespitter and I played Rumble Roses XX. It's a pretty fun game. Also, Firespitter got me something from when he went to the anime convention. He got me a Metal Gear Solid 2 figure. It was Pliskin, which is Solid Snake in disguise. He also got gifts for two other friends (you know who you are). The only thing I'm going to say is that if you two don't like your presents, it's your own fault.

Well, I'm going to check around to see if any info has been released in E3 so I bid you adieu for now.
