Listening to: Zero 4 - Freesia

Well...I got nothing to report except that I finally landed that job that I was going for. Hopefully starting tuesday, a new employee with hopes and dreams doomed to be shattered will walk into those glass doors and start his life in the evergrowing career of gaming.

Also, I have finished watching Neon Genesis Evangelion. Some people don't like the ending...and some I do. I am a person who thought that the ending was weird...but none the less I liked. If I go into details as to why I liked it, I'd most probably spoil it for some of you who haven't finished watching the series (I know who you are).

You know...I've been thinking...in order for myself to be more open I have to say what I'm thinking or what I'm feeling (naturally), so I decided that one day...well, night...I will post on this site about what troubles me...what I'm thinking when I'm not doing anything or when I'm with friends but not engaged in a conversation. I may have done this before...as the 13th post...which I've deleted long ago.

Oh well...I'll visit any sites that have updated tomorrow. Abayo.

Listening to: Shinobi - Red Blade
It's NOVEMBER! ALL RIGHT! Which means only one thing...my friend in the NAVY is coming to visit soon and that he'll bring back my old comics and my Denis Leary DVD!! I miss them so much! I can't wait to start redrawing the comics while watching No Cure For Cancer and Lock n' Load! I'll finally have something to do to kill time! MWAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHHHH!

...

Ahem....

Moving on...my friend Firespitter lent me the Platinum Edition Neon Genesis Evangelion DVD Boxset andI must say...that's quite an improvement over the original. Right now I'm going to watch the 5th DVD. Also, I don't remember if I said this before (I'm too lazy to check in my past posts) but I also saw NieA_7. It's a pretty good show, I enjoyed watching it. It's a damn good break from all those dragonballs, alchemists, and gundams out there. I have to point out that the previews (if that's what you can call it) from NieA_7 are completely different from what I've seen. It's from the same people that did Lain so if you haven't seen it already, check it out.

Well...that's pretty much all that I can think of posting right now. I might post again sometime today. Abayo!

Currently listening to: RMZ4 - Cyber Space
Yeah...the subject...or title is weird. I decided to place what I'm listening to as I update my site as a subject.

Well, hopefully today I'm going to Fry's to buy Soul Calibur 3. Then after that, I'm probably going to watch that platinum version of Evangelion (or whatever newer version is out right now).

Hmm...nothing new happened with me. I'm might get hired for the job I applied for, I just have to call or come in on tuesday morning. Also, as this month rapidly passes by, I've yet to come up with an idea as to how to celebrate the N.A.A. comic's 3rd anniversary.

Well...that's pretty much it for now. I'll go to any updated sites later today.

One more thing, if anyone has played soul Calibur 3, please tell me what you think of it. I don't want to know what your friends told you or what you heard elsewhere, I want YOUR opinion on the game. Abayo!

Hmm...let's see...where do I begin?

Friday:

I invited Firespitter to my house and to much of my surprise, we didn't play that many games. We first played Guilty Gear Isuka. We fought two Leopaldons (lv.999) at the same at least three or four times. Fortunately, we lost only one match. After that, we did random team matches. I used either A.B.A., Sol, Venom, I-no, Anji-mito, or Robo-Ky 2 while he used either Ky, Bridget, or Baiken. Afterwards, I let him play DBZ Budokai 3 while I beat Megaman Zero 4 to show him the ending. I finally got to transfer my data from the 1st Golden Sun to Golden Sun: the Lost Age.

Later on that day, we went to another friend's house to drop off some dvds and give advice on how to beat Skeith in .hack//Infection. We stayed out there in hot sun talking (well, frispitter did most of the talking while I stood there counting the minutes as they passed by) for a good hour or so.

We spent the rest of the day downloading gameplay videos from upcoming games like KOF:MI2 and DOA4, and we then watched some Red vs. Blue. Not to mention the fact that we also ordered some dvds off of ebay and anime corner store and saw some old video game commercials.

I'd like to post some more but right now I'm going to the theater to watch that new movie that came out. Abayo!

Whew...I've calmed down a bit.

Where should I begin...?

Oh yeah! I forgot to say that after a good...year or two...I finally bought GOLDEN SUN: THE LOST AGE. Now I can finally finish the story I began so long ago. But there was a problem, to send the saved file from the first Golden Sun game to the second, I needed to send the info via either cable link or password. I didn't have a cable link so I tried the password. Copying six pages of code (actually it was more like 5 & 1/5) onto a computer or paper isn't fun...especially when it turns out that THE LOST AGE says it's an invalid password. I gave up...then I remembered something. My friend Firespitter has a cable link. All of a sudden I felt like I was saved.

Ok, enough of that. Let's move on...

If I hadn't said this before, I'll say it now. This month marks the 3rd year anniversary of the NAA comic, and I want to do something special. Most of you are propably saying, "wtf?! three years?" so let me backtrack a bit.

Three years ago, on October, I drew a picture depicting my friends and I as SD characters and doing what we did best at the time (play magic, hanging out, or get dragged around with rope tied around our necks). After that, a friend said, "that's pretty funny. why don't you do a comic?" I pondered that for a minute and thought that was a pretty good idea. A day or two later, I made my first hand-drawn comic (that I'd drawn in years). At first, N.A.A. was originally named "Why Me?!" because my character was going to have the crappiest luck, but then a certain person didn't like the title so I changed it to "Not Another Afternoon" to imply that the characters were a lot safer, from others and each other, in the mornings during school instead of the afternoons where they are out of school.

-"N.A.A." ran for 64+ comics
-"After the Afternoon" ran for 10 comics
-"N.A.A. X" ran for 24 comics (I stopped since certain people went on to college, but wrote the end of the story in a summary)
-"Random Crap" , which doesn't take place anywhere in the NAA storyline, ran for 15+ comics
-"NAA's Holiday Special" , only one comic takes place in the storyline, ran for 12 comics

Anyways, if someone has a good idea on what I should do for the 3 years this comic has been around for my friends to enjoy then by all means, let me know.

I guess that's it for now. I think I ended up writing more than I what I should have...

Well... after making a few calls yesterday, it seems that I won't be going to the "jamaica" (ha-mai-ka) this sunday. Why, you ask? Simple. There's no way in hell I'm going by myself to a festival while my friends are either working, going to an arcade, or going to another friend's house to play eight-man Halo. Just for the record, I've been going to that church for more than ten years and I've yet to make ONE friend. The reason why is because it's impossible for me to make friends in church. There's every single type of person in there except the type I would have anything in common with.

If you think it sounds like I'm pissed off right now, then you're right. Today when I turned on the computer, I had to turn it on the usual way, not by pressing the power button but by INSERTING THE DAMN PLUG IN THE ELECTRICAL SOCKET!! Not only that, but I had to move aside various papers that obviously belong to my sister. I know that the person to blame for the computer messing up is my sister because when she and my mother where in mexico, the computer had no problems running smoothly. Now I'm having trouble with it. I don't know what kind of demonic, satanic, goth websites she's been going to or what she's been downloading, but if this continues, I'm going to lose it.

Not only that but when she was gone, the table where the computer is was a lot cleaner. Right now there are science fiction and school papers, an empty bottle of Jarritos, and two glasses, one with a wrapper of butterfingers in it and the other with an empty can of V8 on top of it. Sure she can clean her room and the kitchen just before her boyfriend comes on fridays but she can't even clean the mess she makes around the computer?!!

I'm going to stop here before I rant about other things and say something I'm going to regret.

Man...how long has it been since I last updated? Oh well, it doesn't matter now.

How's it going everyone? Everybody getting ready for Halloween at your respective houses? I know I ain't. (Bet you didn't see that coming) This year, like many years before...except for last year, we won't put up any decorations...or at least I hope not.

If anyone would like to know what's been going in my life, well then you're in luck. Nothing much has been going on in my life, except for the fact that I got Megaman Zero 4 and applied for a job at a certain place.

Let's start off with Zero 4. I was pretty surprised at the number of weapons you could take from enemies. Another feature that caught me off guard was the new elf-system. You no longer have to gather a crap-load of e-crystals to raise numerous elves. Now you raise only one and that one can copy other elves' abilities. Not only that but there's a limit to how many elves you can use at a time. Go over the limit and you lose points at the end of a mission. Oh my god...I'm starting to review this game...I better wrap this up. Anyways the ending, as well as the original jap. ending song, were...well...I don't want to spoil it for any possible Megaman Zero fans who haven't played the game so I'll say this... I was not expecting that.
One more thing...I know I shouldn't be surprised at the changes in the elf system (since they do it every game) but when it comes to the Zero games, I only check out the what new weapon Zero will use in the game.

Now to talk about the job.

....nah

I'll talk about a little event that'll happen at my church (yes, I go to church). Once a year, usually around may, my church does a little festival-type thing that we call a "jamaica" (ha-mai-ka). They have raffles, games, food, and probably the infamous "jail cell" will make its return. My church did one in may but they're doing it again next sunday because they need money to pay for some of the renovations around the church itself. Since I'm one to go out and help the church at times, I'm going to ask some of my friends if they could come with me. So those of you who don't feel like going, get your excuses ready.

Well...that's pretty much it for now. I'll go to any newly updated sites and probably comment tomorrow. Abayo!

HAHAHA!

I, Murasame K, have come back from the brink of insanity, death, and disease!

Ok, let me explain a bit about each of those three words.

DEATH: Ok not really... the thing is that I live in houston and it was supposed to be hit by the strongest part of hurricane Rita. I, along with others decided to leave Houston to escape from the hurricane. I went to McAllen and stayed at a cousin's house. Enter insanity...

Insanity: My cousin is married and has 3 kids. All boys! It was crazy. They wouldn't stop crying at my favorite times of day; morning and night. Speaking of kids, let's go to disease...

Disease: The night before we arrived at the house, my cousin's oldest son puked alot. So guess what happened to me? Yeah, I got the disease. But do not worry my friends, I did not puke. As much as I want to end it fast, there's no way I'm finishing it by puking! I held that bastard back all day. No matter how big the urge got, I managed to overcome it....somehow.

It was bad enough that I left some of my precious stuff at home because there wasn't enough room left in the truck or car, but getting sick on my birthday just wasn't fuckin' fair!

Well...at least my house is still in one piece...I'm thankful for that...really thankful.

Ok, onto other news. It seems that my sister shot off her mouth and said something she knows is untrue. To be brief, my relatives think I have a girlfriend! I know it's fake news because I know I don't have a g/f and I know if I did have a g/f, I'd be in a much better mood right now. Where my sister got that idea, I don't know, but I will set her straight and anyone else that she has told this rumor to.

Moving on... Because my brother shot off his mouth, my cousins found out that sept. 23 was my b-day, so you know what they got me even though I felt sick? A stick of sugarless gum and a reeses peanut butter cup! I shit you not people! GUM AND CHOCOLATE! Medicine would've been better for me since I was sick! This is one of the reasons I hate my relatives!

Hey...does it seem like I'm ranting or is it just me? Oh well, what's done is done. I'll log in tomorrow and check out any updated sites. Abayo!

(Right here is the part where I make a crack about hurricane Rita and my birthday but running the risk that I might sound like an asshole, I decided not to put it in the post. Sorry.)

hmm...
Yo!

How's everyone doing today!

I've been doing pretty good.

It's been quite sometime since I last updated and...nothing much happened. I just got back from the arcade and some pretty crazy stuff happened. First of all, I played that Sailor Moon game on the arcade. It's like one of those old 2D beat 'em ups like Final Fight and whatnot...except with magical powers and the ability to question your masculinity. Anyways, I got all the way to the boss (more like bosses) of the 1st stage before I got a game over. It seems that for that boss I needed a second player to help me split up those twins. Of course my friend Firespitter was watching, probably with no intention of joining me and helping because it might place him in the lower ranks of the badass-o-meter.

Well after that, I went to play DDR with another friend of mine, Sully, and we messed up big time. We had already played two songs and it was my turn to choose a song. I chose "ska a go go" (or whatever that song is called) and we were both doing ok. The song that some crazy steps (and turning up the speed didn't help) and then the song kinda stopped and the steps stopped coming so we then got off, a bit exhausted...big mistake. Much to our surprise, the song only paused a bit and then continued. By the time we got on to continue, it was too late...we got a game over. We felt like crap and my other friends telling us that we shouldn't get cocky didn't help either. So after that, I went to play some other games.

Next game was Street Fighter 3: 3rd Strike. Instead of telling you in detail about how hard it was to beat some of my friends, I'll make a little chart thingy. These are the people that won more than 4 fights.

Firespitter----Alex
Sully----------Akuma
Firespitter----Ryu
Myself---------Yun (I only lasted one fight afterwards)
Nema-----------Akuma (The 2nd round against him was crazy because both of us didn't stay in one place for more than two seconds and kept exchaging blows.)

Yeah...I suck in the arcade. The only I go is because most of my friends are there at the same time. I, myself, prefer the consoles. But to be honest, I came close to beating some of them with Ibuki, Yun, and Yang.

After all the fighting games, Sully decided to treat all 6 of us to some cookies and a drink each(it was someone's brithday). After that, I went home because I wanted to watch naruto and eat some spicy buffalo wings (I hadn't had those since who knows when).

Well, that's all for now. I'll go visit some on the newly updated sites tomorrow. Abayo!

Useless Update
Wow...how long has it been since I last updated?

Anyways, how is everyone today?

*dead silence*

Oh yeah...it's back to school for most kiddies. Well, the only thing I can say for those of you going to school is hit the books hard....no really, hit them, they're evil...but really, just try your best and don't give up easily.

Anyways, where was I? Oh yeah! Nothing much has happened since my last update except that whenever my aunt comes to visit our house, my cousins and my brother gang up on me and try to beat me in various fighting games. 20% of the time they end up beating me but they know damn well they can't match up to me...at least I hope not.

I just remembered something! Last week I went to the arcade to meet up with some friends and play DDR and SF3: 3rd Strike but my friend, Firespitter, showed me one of the greatest arcades I'd ever find. It was an arcade that had 300 games! some of them were good, but most of them I didn't care about. Anyways, as soon as firespitter and his friend were done playing MK2, I immediately got my hands on the arcade machine and started playing Pocket Fighter, Rage of the Dragons, Power Instinct Matrimelee, and SVC Chaos PLUS. I wanted to play that Sailor Moon game but firespitter didn't bring his digital camera so he could record it.

Well, that's pretty much it for this update. I'd love to type some more but I can't really remember what else happened.

Abayo!
