Random Rant #....I'm done SCHOOL!!

Hey everyone! It's been QUITE a while since my last post, I apoligize, I've been quite busy this past month due to the fact that its exam time! However, I'm done! DONE LIKE DINNER!! HA! As you can see I'm in a giddy mood. Might be becasuse its lunchtime and I haven't eaten aything yet...wait, I have a granola bar with me so I should be good for the time being. Anyways, I finished my last exam today, this morning! It was for my Memory class taught by the greatest psychology prof I've had so far Professor Leboe. I hope I did well, I mean, I need to do really well on this! So I'm hoping, hoping with everything that I have, that I got at least a 70 on it. Please! Otherwise, my marks in that class would be quite poor, and I might have to repeat!! >__< GAH!! I studied my ass off for this exam, and I was relatively confident throughout the entire exam period, so I'm hoping that I did really well! NO! I did do well! Yes, that's exactly the kind of thing I need to be saying to myself, however, its not always good to delude yourself under false pretenses when you're unsure of what the outcome might be! Wow! I was thinking that quite quickly and typing pretty fast too! And yes, with that last exam, I am done school! Yes, I don't really care about my linear algebra that I'll probably have to repeat next year and screw doing that in the summer!! LOL! Anyway, I am now focusing all of my efforts into finding a summer job. I am really quite nervous on that aspect, however, due to my lack of experience in applying for them and getting interviews! I think I've only had five interviews in my life, two which landed me my current two jobs so I'm quite a novice in that department. Last year I didn't even go looking for a summer job as I just stuck to the two that I still have. And yeah...I need another job! I'm getting a little tired of doing what I'm currently doing, which is all in the food industry, so I need to stretch out my wings and do something in another area! *head is scratchy* *scratches it* Anything will do! I just need to get out of it really, ok, I guess not everything will do, but whatever. Other news...I've been going off a mile a minute at the moment haha! Ho-hum, I'm having troubles with men, and its always the typical problems that I have with them! Where half of it is his fault and the other half is me. This time its like all me *sobs* I've finally been able to connect back with my friend from last year and it was just SOOO great!! And I'm hoping to see him sometime either this week or next, not sure. I think he really does like me he's really sweet, but it might just be a friend thing. >_>;; But I'm not sure on what I really feel for him as I totally liked him last year but since the time lapse... I think I'm jerking him around a lot because since we haven't seen each other in a while we're talking about everything that's new and I like sharing with others about the people in my life! So of course that includes some of my other guy friends and girlfriends, and I think he's under the impression that I'm seeing other people. Anyways, its complicated @__@ I'll just have to figure things out for myself, and I should end this here before it becomes a therapy session haha. Hope you guys are all doing well! ^__^

Random Rant #19...or something

Hey everyone! It's been about a month since my last post I noticed ^^; Wow, that's a long time. I thought I'd update. So here it goes! It might be kinda long so bear with me please! First off, just wanted to say Happy Chinese New Year for anyone who celebrated it! I really wanted to go to the Kum Koon Garden for their annual chinese new year feast but my parents opted out. Sheesh, just because its about $50-60 per person...<_<; I can understand why. Instead, we just had a nice dinner at home that consisted of barbeque pork, lots of pan fried shrimp, fish, rice, noodles, and many vegetables! I could go on, but yeah. It happened this past sunday. The year of the Boar! Or the Pig, however you prefer to say it. I'm a rabbit, just so you know. ^__^So Happy Chinese New Year! Yeah! I haven't really actually been on here, like really on here for quite sometime. Well, not that long ago, but now it seems like I've been focusing more on this other site that I'm becoming more addicted to. Facebook! Have you guys heard of it? Do you guys have an account on it? *laughs* Some people say that its like myspace. I actually have a myspace account as well, but I only use it so that I can look at pics of my friends that they only posted there. Otherwise, I don't use it. I've actually had my facebook account for sometime now, but its only been in the past couple of weeks that I actually started going to it regularly. I was just on it before I came onto myO! haha. So if you guys have a facebook account, tell me! There's something fascinating about finding people that you know on there! I was discussing this with the people I sit with in my research methods class. They "shunned" me for not using myspace to its full potential. I on the otherhand, told them that facebook was my replacement to it. Anyway, enough about that haha. I was also thinking about getting a cell phone during my reading week, which is basically like a spring break which happened last week. I went to a couple of those mobility places and checked out their sites online and whatnot, and I was about to settle it and get one on tuesday, but then I thought further thinking into getting one should be needed! I thought I was one of those rare people who doesn't have one, especially since I'm in university....and crap, I just realized that I forgot to bring my Harry Potter book for my friend again. Damn. But I'm digressing...I then find out that my research methods buddy Scott also doesn't have one! He was feeling insecure about it, but then when I told him that I didn't have one either, it was, hmm, how should I describe it? A bonding moment. Or something like that. It was like this weird connection just flashed through us haha. Stacey, our other buddy laughed at us. But we did have a thourough discussion on this. Afterwards, it strengthened both of our resolves that we didn't need cell phones and that there was no point in us getting one now until we actually have a real job. So HUZZAH! I do not want to get a cell phone jist for the sake of getting a cell phone! Say NO to conformity! Unless...of course, you can really use your cell. The quickest way to get in contact with me has always been by email. Yup. Well...that was kind of long. Who else does not have a cell phone? On a last note, I'll probably change my theme in my next post. I've been swamped with work, but I've managed to finish watching Ouran High School Host Club during my reading week. It is really awesome! I read the manga beforehand, and couldn't help but notice the changed things, but man, it ended brilliantly. Go Host Club! I wish there was a host club here at school, but then again, I could always just go to those male escort clubs XDDD. So as youcan tell, it'll definitely be an Ouran theme. Random Rant # 18

Hello! Its been a little while since I posted anything new. And I'm also in a little rush today. Why is it that everytime I post something, I do it before I have to rush off and go somewhere else? Seriously, I don't understand myself sometimes, but maybe that's the only way I'm able to update haha. Yesterday, I felt enlightened. I was taking a walk, and I haven't taken a walk in a very long time, and I couldn't help but be overcome with a sense of peace and calmness. I had forgotten what that felt like, and it's been so long, that I had actually forgotten what a peace of mind felt like. I'd been kind of obsessed lately with finding what the significance of my existence has been, and because of that, I've just been in an odd bipolarish mood. I'd be really depressed one instant, but when something really simple happens that makes me happy I become euphoric. Man....I dunno. Obsessed with my reason for being here. On my walk, I came to the conclusion that if I have to find out my purpose, I hope that it'll be in someone else. That they I can say something like that I exist because they need me, as no one really needs me right now *sighs* I've overcome portions of this "quest" but it's still there. I finished Hikaru no Go the other day, a most AWESOME manga I must add, really brilliant, and when I was reading it, it was like an obsession within itself it that makes any sense. Anyway I really do have to go, I have to meet my friend that I just ran into for lunch. So I hope that everyone is doing well, and having a good week so far. See you! ^_^

Random Rant #17

Hey everyone! How's it going? Well, this is a quick little update, seriously, this time, it is a rant, since I don't have much time before my bus comes and I'm sitting in the compy lab killing time. Right now I'm on my spare...actually I'm done school! I only had one class today cuz my research methods class doesn't happen on fridays because...well its a little complicated haha. I usually meet my friend on fridays where we can just hang out and grab a bite to eat at University Center but today she didn't show up! It's times like this when I knew that I should've gotten a cell phone. That's right people. I'm one of the few out there right now that does not possess a cell phone! Isn't that crazy! We're at risk of wiped out in this technologically advancing world that we live in. But yes, this was one of the occassions where I'm like, if I had a cell, I could phone her right now and see where shes at...or maybe she's sick today? Or something came up? And what sucks is that I have her christmas present which I didn't have time to give to her yet and today I wanted to! Damn! Alas...well, I'm hungry, seriously hungry, its lunchtime so I'm gonna go hop on my bus and go home. I'm typing klinda slow. ^^;; Anyway, I'll come by people's sites later. Have a good weekend!! ^_^

   Random Rant #15

Hey guys! Happy New Year! It might be a little late to say that though, but I hope that everyone had a nice New Years and Christmas too! Sadly, I've got school tomorrow, first day back to class and I'm not looking forward to it very much. I'm just too used to my christmas break! XD Anyway, this is just a quick update since I haven't updated in a while, but I've been making a bunch of wallpapers lately, and some of them I posted already on here, it was just this weird must make more walls o__O phase haha. Be sure to look out for them! ^__^ Ah, and also, for the Near wall that I made, I just wanna say that I got the image from the best Death Note site ever deathgod.org! Yeah! ^^ On a last note, I just wanted to thank Chaotic Angel for helping me out with my site! There was a few things that I couldn't have done if it wasn't for her help! Thank you so much for your help! I really appreciate it!! *hugs* And I put up a new theme for the site, its of BECK: Mongolian Chop Squad! It's an excellent music manga and I'm just getting into the anime right now! GO BECK!! Indeed. So anyone broken any of their new year's resolutions yet? XD Anywho, talk to you all later! ^__^

Random Rant #14

Heya guys, how're you all doing? Me...well, actually I'm kinda ticked off. First time I came back to the site since most of my exams are behind me and I only have one more to go, and I check on the comment manager thing and then I just see someone bashing one of my walls, calling it a rip-off of someone else's work. You know, that really pisses me off! If it was some other random bashing I'd be cool with it, but when it comes down to plagarism...dude, I've never plagarised anything ever. And to accuse me of that just bothers me. *shakes head* The wallpaper in question is my Ichigo vs. Renji Bleach wall. I sent the person a lengthy pm stating reasons that I found wrong with their assessment. I wonder if they'll respond back, I was pretty blunt and almost mocking in a sense. Hmm..well, it's kind of hard to describe the tone of it, but I definitely laid out my feelings on the comment. *sighs* Geez...people. Anywho, that's my random rant of the day. It's been a long day of work. I'm probably gonna go and sleep now, so I hope that everyone is doing well. See you later! ^__^

Random Rant #13...or whatever rant number it is now

Hey guys! How is everyone doing these days? I haven't been around theotaku for a while now, I've just been so busy with school and work these days, I've got my finals next week, so I'm just posting to let everyone know that I probably won't be around until pretty close to christmas time. It's just been so hectic with school because of my final exams, I've got 4 of them next week on the last two days of classes before exam week, and I only have one during that time, and that's astronomy on the 16th. Man, I started to really hate astronony, in the beginning, it was all good, until it started getting more complicated with all the physics. I hate physics. >_<;; But I've stuck it out, as I missed the date to withdraw from the course. My other courses are going pretty well, but I am kinda worried about my pysch research class, I'm praying that I do really well on the last exam, so I can hopefully squeeze by with either a C or a C+. *crosses fingers* Not to mention that I've got a huge paper due on the last day as well, and I'm working! It's getting to be christmas time, and both my jobs are getting packed because of it. And I have to start on my christmas shopping! That's always a challenge for me as I never know what I'm supposed to get people. And the malls are always so packed. I should've started sooner, but meh! Have any of you guys started on your christmas gifts yet? Anyway, that's just an update from me, I hope you guys are having a good week! Love and Peace! ^_^

Random Rant # 12

Ahhh well I've finally come around to updating! Haha ^_^;; I've been meaning to, but last week I was really sick. I had to the stomach flu and that was just horrible. And the worst thing, was that it all happened at work! Last Monday, I get to department store restaurant where I work at and I wasn't feeling too good at the beginning of my shift. My co-worker who I was taking over from said that I didn't look too good and gave me some advil. I thought I'd be ok after taking a couple, as they usually work, or tylenol, but I didn't even last half an hour into my shift! I just felt like vomitting and I told Ruby the cook to cover the front for me as I was gonna be sick so I just took off into the washroom and puked in one the toilets. Needless to say, I'll just skip over the other details but the manager drove me home. But I was sick for a few days after, and on thursday I was better, but friday I made a full recovery! So I was able to get back to work! Yay! I love working at both my jobs, even though that can be majorly stressful at times! Anyway, still have a slight dilemma, do any of you guys know how I'll be able to put the quiz results I got that's not from theotaku after the comments link? I'm kinda confuzzled about the whole thing. Any ideas would be much appreciated. Well, I hope everyone is having a good week then! I gotta get studying!! Laterz!

Random Rant # 10...Well, it is done!

Hey guys! How is everyone doing this week? Well anyway, I just wanted to thank everyone on their opinion regarding the DN wall that I found which the user clearly did not make herself. Doing some digging into the issue, I analyzed and compared the wallpapers together and found that nothing was even remotely changed in the submitted work. Convinced with the evidence, I decided to ask the person if they even made it! To which the reply came back as a no, and even confirmed my thoughts that they didn't even make even a tiny edit on it before submitting it! So then I just reported the wall, I mean, what else could I do? It's plagarism! The sad thing is that this user makes awesome wallpapers and has very nice fanart, so there should have been no need to do that. Senseless...geez...and stupid. Yes. *nods* That's a bit of L's character rubbing off on me XD How did everyone's Halloween go this year? I didn't go out or really do anything lol. I had a test the next day that I had to study for, so I spent most of my time studying and handing out candy for the kids, before just letting my dad do it cuz I started feeling lazy. It's been super cold and snowy out, so there weren't very many kids at all. Snow...>__< It's too early! And we'll be getting more snow over the next week too. Geez... The fan manga section here is really starting to pick up. I think I've started reading so many of them that it's getting hard for me to keep track of O__O;; haha, but I think I'll try to keep up with it lol. On a last note, I'm just wondering if anyone can help me with a minor thing. How do I get the comments link to go before the Death Note quiz that I've got after my post? I've been quite confuzzled about this. Any tips would be much appreciated. Well, I gotta get studying for my astronomy test tomorrow, so I hope everyone has a good day! ^__^

More plagarism?

Hey guys, this is a brief post, but I'm just wondering on what your guys opinion is on this. I haven't really been checking up on the Death Note wallpapers section here in a while, but there were two that caught my eye that I'm sure that that person could not have possible done. I'm thinking about reporting them on this. Take a look: This first L pic compared to the one that I found some time ago: Same thing They look exactly the same, and the person also submitted the wall found on deathgod.org on the top right of Light tossing the apple. I think I'm gonna report this person. What do you guys think? The walls came from the official site.
