Random Rant # 8: New Theme!

Hey guys! How's it going? Well as you can see here, I've updated the theme of my site! That's right, it features the one and only Light Yagami from Death Note! Death Note is an amazing manga that I am just really obsessed with and quite enjoy. And guess what? I'VE FINISHED IT!!! The series is only 12 volumes long, but what an incredible storyline and characters it has! I highly recommend everyone who haven't checked it out to do so! ^__^ It is just that damn good! For those who don't know what it's about, one day Light finds a notebook on the ground outside on the school grounds and discovers that it's called a Death Note. He eventually learns from its instructions that if you write down someone's name and face in it, they will die. This notebook was dropped by a shinigami called Ryuk, who was bored. And thus, Light uses the Death Note to purge the world of evil, eventaully leading to the rivalry between him and the greatest detective in the world: L. So yeah. My favourite character is L, but I do really like Light as well. *nods* Other manga updates, I picked up Eyeshield 21 and Bleach vol.14 today finally! I'm still waiting on vol.15 from the shop I go to. But hee...the guy who works at the shop is so cute! XD I call him the white guy, because although I've been going to the same asian pop culture shop for the past 3 years, I've never learned his name, and everyone else who works there is asian ^_^ He goes to the same university as me, and I was actually quite surprised to see him, because his class is right before my Logic class, so when he's leaving the class, I'm going in! Yeah, he's just adorable XD he's starting to bald prematurely though ^^;; even though my guess is he's around 22-24. My brother wanted to beat him up one day ^^;; because I went in to drop off a dvd that I rented and the "white guy" immediately focused in on me and just ignored and walked away from the some other customer who was talking to him. That's really nothing though, right? Geez...strange brother...he was like, does he like you? I'm gonna get him!! *rage* I'm like, "Calm down" ^^; Haha, well, that's my random rant for the day, hope everyone is doing well! ^__^

Random Rant #7

Hello! It's been quite a while since I've updated, I've just been kinda swamped lately. Earlier this month I've had a few tests, actually I've still got 2 more to write before the by next week. Life's been pretty busy. I have to volunteer later at the hospital but I really don't feel like it ^^; It's actually snowing outside!!! Man....October and its already snowing. *sighs* Not that I mind the snow too much, but it's just really early. Not to mention that I don't have a winter jacket yet. I should really go and buy one haha. Anyway, that's all from me for now. This post is kinda pointless but I'll update again asap with better news. See you all later!

Random Rant # 5!!

Hey everyone! This is gonna be a quick little update from me. School is now in full swing, and I'm gonna be pretty busy for the next little while. ALready I've got loads of homework, mostly reading the first few chapters of each of the textbooks that are required in my course, but at first what I thought wasn't gonna be too bad, I find that the chapters are all around 30 pages long and mostly in small print >_< and that's about 5 textbooks, and though it doesn't sound like a lot, I think it is, as for a couple of my pyschology classes we're covering one chapter every class O__o;; And since I'm taking a full course load, I'm basically gonna have no life this year haha. I'll be trying to juggle 2 jobs, school, and volunteering constantly, so yup, that's gonna be no life for me, since I always work on the weekends...but I do have the occasional friday off so I'm glad. But on another note, I was majorly bummed that my friend that I met last year isn't going to the same university this year, nope, he had to go somewhere else, so I was pretty depressed about that. *sighs* It's actually kinda funny though, I couldn't care less if I saw some of my other friends as long as he was gonna be there. That's pretty bad isn't it? But so far all of my classes are going on alright for now. Textbooks and tuition has given my overall bank account a serious beating. I'm hoping I'll still have enough to cover my monthly manga buyings lol. Alas, that will be all from me for now. I've got to go to class soon, astronomy! wHOOO!! haha, well, I hope everyone is having a good start to their week so far. I'll come around people's sites a little later. ^__^

Random Rant #5!

Hey hey! It's been practically a month since my last post, but my compy is currently in the shitter right now. Please excuse my language XD. I haven't been online for a couple weeks now around there anyway. We sent it into future shop to see if they could take a look at it and see why nothing pops up onto the monitor when we start up the compy. I mean, nothing popped up, it was just blank. I tried to reboot it and everything, but nothing worked, so we took it in. Now, about a month later, it's still not fixed. The reason is that they have to get some part in order to see exactly what is wrong with it, and they're gonna recieve that part on Sept.10th. Man...luckily I've got the university computer lab! HUZZAHH!!! Anyway, as you can tell, this is gonna be a long post as I'm gonna rant on for a bit. School starts for me next week, on the 7th, but I might possibly go in on the 5th because my co-worker at one of my jobs is afraid that she won't know anyone in her homeroom for orientation. She's a first year, and I'm going into my second by the way. I'm considering it cuz I remember all the free stuff I got from last years U1 orientation! *laughs* But I also might have to work that day in the morning. Gahh...well, I'll just have to see when the time comes! I'm also just hoping beyond hope that one of my friends that I made last year is gonna come back to school this year. Seriously, I'm gonna be lost without him. It's feel kinda weird knowing that he wasn't there, cuz we were in a couple of the same classes and hung out a lot after we were done. Man, do I hafta find some new person to bother? haha XD but I haven't spoken to him in a while since he doesn't live in the city and went back home. But overall, I do feel a little anxious going back. This year, I'm taking a full-course load, and last year I only took 24 credits. *ponders* I'm mostly taking pyschology classes, astronomy, and this philoshy logic class for first term. I just hope I don't die with school and two jobs. Yesh, that's right, I'll still be working my two jobs with the school year! One of them is only weekends, and the other is throghout the week and weekends too, so I think I'll be ok. But if it gets too much, I'll probably have to quit the wedding banquet place, even though I'm supervisor there...*ponders* Alas, I'm really obsessed with Animal Crossing for the gamecube right now. I know that game was released some years ago, but I never really had the chance to go out and buy it until now. I'm just obsessed, and I've only had it for about a week! hahaha...oh man. My little brother has been bored out of his freaking mind since there's been no compy for most of the summer, so he's been playing games all day on our GC. I'm also hooked on Criss Angel. I can't get enough of him! I watch his show every week on A&E...and I'm like, he's completely brilliantly awesome!! GO CRISS!!! Somehow, I feel quite energized at this moment, considering about the same time last week I was wondering why the hell I'm still here. I think I'm bipolar, my mood changes are pretty....interesting...<_<;; Ok! To wrap this up, I'm wondering how has your summer been? Are you looking forward to be in school again or are you already there? I'M HUNGRY!! I haven't had anything to eat and my stomach is rumbling! *thought I'd share that with all of you XD* I'll come by people's sites to today! ^__^ Cya later!

Random Rant # 4

Ack...my compy is currently on the fritz right now geez...I'm at my university's computer lab trying to register for my classes for next year. But for some reason, everytime I click to register for a course, the thing takes so slow to load and respond, meanwhile, if I do anything else, like going on myotaku, it's super fast...@__@ The funny thing is that though I thought I had currently registered for 4 classes already, I've only registered for one. *sighs* I'm impatient, and I thought the whole thing was loaded already, so now I'm going back to get those courses again, what a pain. *brooding* It's now booted me out of the system..stupid thing. Augh..I'm feeling quite frustrated right now. The whole thing should take perhaps 30 mins to do, and its already been like almost an hour as its moving so slow >_< I'll probably have to completely reboot my comp at home. I have no idea what the heck is wrong with it though, as nothing even pops up on the screen when you start it, and everything is plugged in correctly and free on dust...much be some kind of virus or something...I hope you guys are having a nicer morning than I am haha. I'll probably come around and visit people's sites today. I'll see you guys around. *waves*

Random Rant # 3

Hey guys! Well I haven't updated in a while, but I've been pretty busy these weeks with work! Last week I worked about 35 hours, which isn't too bad if I must say so myself XD. Ah, but just this past weekend the yearly anime convention called Ai-Kon rolled into town again ^_^ Whoo! So much fun! I only went for one day though =( because I had to work for most of the weekend. I should've booked it all off, but if I did my co-workers at the restaurant would be screwed as currently one of them's on vacation. I learned how to play Go and saw an Aikido demonstration ^_^ I also watched the original Yu-Gi-Oh! series as well as Leave it to Piyoko, which was freaking hilarious. The Artist's Faire was amazing, the people featured there are so talented, and I bought this awesome Death Note magnet and an L necklace! When it came to the Dealer's Room, where they were selling all sorts of merchandise from the various vendors, I just went spending crazy XD I spent over $200 that day ^__^ and I finally found CardCaptor Sakura! I've been searching for that manga for ages, and I've found it! The guy I bought it from told me that there the anime store downtown that I go to that should have the whole CCS series in stores, so I'm like YAY!!! I had a great time, unfortunately, I didn't bring a camera with me, so I wasn't able to take pics of all the wonderful cosplayers =( oh well. I met up with some friends and my co-worker, but I couldn't find my friend that I only meet up with at the convention every year, so that was disappointing, but I'll see her around eventually. ^^ Anyway, because of Ai-Kon this weekend, I changed the theme to my site. It's now of L from Death Note! Death Note is a wonderful manga, and if you haven't checked it out, you should! There's a live action movie out now I believe, so I can't wait to see it! *____* The actors look sooo good and I'm totally pumped! I wanna see it!! *excited* And I also hear that there's an anime for it coming out pretty soon! wOOtness all the way!! YA-HA!! And I also put up some new fanart, so if you'd like to check that out, please do and tell me what you think of my characters! ^__^ On a last note, I'm looking into new manga to keep me occupied XD. So my random question of the day is what manga do you recommend to me? I'm open to any suggestion, thanks! Well, gotta roll, so I'll see you all later then! Ja ne!

Random Rant #2

Hey everyone! How's it going? This is gonna be a brief little post, well, much shorter than most of the others that I've posted heh. I've changed the theme to the site! It's now of my favourite band, Billy Talent!! How do you like it? I made it all myself ^_^ I love those guys! For those who've never heard of them, and like rock music, I urge you to strongly check them out! In fact, here's their site: www.billytalent.com They're just so amazing, I love their music and all of the different subject matters that they touch on. They're music has helped me and I just really love them - the people that they are in general, cuz their just a bunch of really great guys. ^__^ Go get their new CD! Billy Talent 2! It rocks! Random Rant #1

Hello! I'm back from the dead haha, I haven't been around here for a long time now, but I'm now officially on summer break!! wOOtness!! I just finished my calculus exam about an hour ago, and I'm relieved and happy, because I honestly felt like I did good on it, so I'm just hoping that that's the case. There's only this one question, on the graphing that I really had trouble with...bah, I messed up on the graph pretty bad methinks, but I couldn't figure out why it just looked so wrong! All of my other calculations were leading up to it, and that all made sense, so I couldn't figure it out. I was actually done pretty early, the exam was 2 hours long and I was done about an hour into it. I then took the next 40 mins to check over my stuff and ponder why my stupid graph didn't look right lol. Ah! But my T.A was there to help out with the exam and everything. T.A stands for teaching assistant just so you know if you didn't ^^ and he is soo awesome!! I absolutely adore him, seriously, he is the best!! I was raving about how cool he was to my friend who also had to write the exam and she thought I was majorly crushing on him or something haha. We were talking about our T.A's and somehow the conversation went to their looks when we saw each other's T.A's lol. My T.A's name is Clint, and for the longest time I thought his name was Glenn. Wow, that's pretty bad...I mean, I don't know how I got Glenn from Clint, thats horrible lol. Clint is just so cute! I mean, he's got this geeky cuteness to him that's so adorabale! It's his glasses, I swear, their like square rimed and black, and he always wears the same ripped jeans...it gets me wondering if he has any other pair of pants @__@ and his hair!!! It's like this little mess of dark soft curls...holy I sound pretty obsessive don't I? But let's get the facts straight, I don't like him in that kind of way whatsoever, I just think he's really awesome and funny and cute, in this admiring kind of way...if that makes any sense whatsoever. I'm just like that with people whom I'm quite fond of, like my friends and co-workers! I can rant on and on about them for hours, honestly. It doesn't matter if its a guy or a girl, I could rave on and on about why I think their so awesome ^__^ But Clint seriously is really awesome, if only you could all just listen to him talk about random things. He's actually really artsy, but for some reason he's a math T.A lol. He's really passionate about math and the arts, its hilarious. He thinks everyone who goes into business will come out evil and corrupted XDD Oh man, he reminds me of my old high school teacher McDowell...he's got issues with Wal-Mart McDowell does. Hmm...the only thing I'm worried about now is when I retake Linear Algebra next year I might end up with Clint as my T.A again! Not that I'm complaining, but that'd be kinda weird. Wow, I've spent this post completely ranting on about my awesome T.A, perhaps next time I should talk about something else...well that's pretty likely haha. I hope that everyone is doing well, but I'm kinda hungry and I'm gonna go catch my bus home, so take care everyone! ^__^

   RANT

Hey guys, how's everything? Enjoying the summer now that its getting really nice and everything? I know I am ^_^ Hope your weekend went well and all, cuz mine started out nice but ended up sucking big time >< As of now, at my wedding reception job I am no longer a supervisor. My co-workers told me on Saturday when I had just barely started my shift as they were all upset and wondering how I was taking the bad news. And you know...I was at a complete loss because no one had even talked to me about this. It came totally out of the blue. I was pretty shocked let me tell you, because, ironically I was supervising that night!! They told me that the co-ordinator was gonna break the news to me, but they were all really surprised that I wasn't informed of this yet. I took the news pretty well after that though, cuz I was pretty mellow and everything, and my co-workers were all worried about me and how it was gonna go down later when I had to talk to the co-ordinator. To make a long story short, aftter I was done I had to find her, cuz she wanted to talk to me. And so, the co-ordinator told me that as of now I would no longer be a supervisor so I didn't have to worry about those duties or anything anymore. I pretended to be all shocked and everything, but what really pisses me off was the reasoning behind the demotion.... We'll take it back on sunday a couple weeks back where everything went smoothly except that the special plate for someone who was allergic to eggs and the vegetarian plate didn't go out. She was all bitching at me and everything, but when she went after my servers and yelled at them, I just couldn't take that crap. I'll take the blame and the heat for everything, so don't take it out on my servers! And from that, was basically why I got demoted back to being a server. It'd take too long to explain the whole sunday ordeal, but that was the main reason. I was fine with it Saturday night, but the more I think about it as the days go on, the more pissed I am about the whole stupid situation! On top of that, my co-worker got fired last week cuz of this misunderstanding. >< There are 4 reasons why I'm still mainly pissed about, and they all stemmed from the co-ordinator's obviously prepared speech on why I'm demoted: 1) The sunday incident but she also mentions that there were other problems before. WTF?!!!! There is only one other incident that I can think of and that was the african wedding that proved disasterous even before they got married!! And why didn't anyone say anytyhing to me about that then huh?! 2)She and the other supervisors agree that I shouldn't be supervising. Come on, when did she have the time to really get together and have this little discussion? There are only 3 other supervisors, and I could only think of one who she could've had the talk with about me, and I can't believe that the other 2 would agree!! Have they no faith in me whatsoever? And don't the server's opinions count? How about the manager?! Maybe it's because I get along so well with them and that we're all friends and they know they'd back me up no matter what....I dunno...>< 3)Ardith said that I didn't want to supervise anyway. Ardith is the supervisor of whom I was referring to earlier. Nobody likes her supervising, and whenever I'm serving or something in her room and she's supervising, heck I do most of the work that she's supposed to be doing anyway! Geez....and why would she say something like that? I've never discussed if I like supervising or whatnot with her before! >< 4)They never gave me a chance to defend myself, or protest ever the decision. They're decison was final, it didn't matter what I said. And that really irrates me the most. I had to really hold back on a lot of things, really restrain my tongue otherwise I'm pretty sure I would've got my ass fired for sure. And that pretty much sums it up. I just really had to rant on about this because I was getting more and more irritated as I thought about it as the days went by. I work there this saturday. I'm not sure what I'm gonna say to any of the supervisors yet, but i'm gonna tell my co-workers what went down and everything. I'm fine not supervising, as they're not reducing my pay, but the reasoning just pisses me off. *whew* Ok, I'm done now. Just had to get that off my chest XD. Hope you guys have a good day!    Jajaja....^__^

Hey guys! How is everyone? Good news! I've now got over my depressive slump which seemed to last for a really long time. My apathy always comes back though and I generally don't have an interest in anything during that time ^^;; but now I'm in a much better state of mind, so much so that I feel like ranting for a while, which means that this post is going to be a long one! XDD Ja! I totally aced my calculus quiz today! It was so easy, I was surprised that I was even worried about it. Things are going smoothly for me in that right now, but I still am a little behind in the homework department. I'll be able to catch up on all of before my midterm which is next week! o___O;; It's coming up so fast! I also wanna say that I absolutely adore my T.A who has such a cuteness around him that I just can't but smile! ^_^ He's really helpful and good at explaining everything, and he's hilarious as hell ^^ hee...He's just so cute! I'm not really suffering much at work anymore now. I used to dread going in at the restaurant, because I was so tired of everything there and I really didn't want to put up with the same regular customers day after day, as they can really annoy the hell out of me sometimes X_X but now they've hired this girl who used to work there during the summer last year so we're no longer understaffed in servers! HUZZAHH!! Which means I don't have to work as much anymore there! Yay! I'm getting more supervising shifts at my other job, and that's always fun! I love everyone there! We're like this close family! ^_^ Jajaja I can't see myself leaving there now anytime soon, and to think that I was once considering it! I must be crazy! Has anyone seen Bleach 79 yet? When was it released? Recently methinks! I got it downloaded on my compy at home so I hope I'll be able to watch it when I go home...unless my brothers won't let me use it T__T Sheesh...but guess what? I've finally got into Fruits Basket! It's been almost 3 yrs since I first heard of it, and an old co-worker of mine recommended it to me around the same time. hahaha I had some free time last week so I went into the university bookstore to see if there was anything cool in their manga section. You know, I never even knew that they even had such a section until my friend told me, cuz he saw that they had the Bleach titles that I was lending him there. And lo and behold they have this lovely row of Fruits Basket manga, and I'm thinking, Why the hell not? It's about time that I picked it up! And I LOVE IT!!! <3333 Man, I spent about $80 just this past week as I've bought volumes 1-6 and they're up to 14...*drools* But I've banned myself from buying more of it until I write my midterm...gahhh...but can I resist temptation? Especially when I have my paycheck just burning a hole in my backpack right now as I'll be going to the bank later....nuuuuu!!! >_<;; I love the characters and the story!! I dunno who my faves are! Everyone is so amazing and beautiful!! *cries at their loveliness* I really like Haru and Momiji and Yuki and Tohru and Kyo and Hatori and...*continues to rant off names* I'm just babbling away now! You must be bored and sick of the length of this ridiculously long post by now aren't you? Well guess what? It does not end here!!! MWAHAHAHAA... After I got over my apathy and depressive slump, I'm now motivated to keep on going with the book that I'm writing, and I'm also in the progress of making my own manga! I did try that last year, but it failed as I quickly lost inspiration in the project as I was concentrating more on my story at the time. But this will give me something more to do that just sitting on my ass all day XDDD I'll post the first page of it when I'm done, but I'm currently in a debate with myself on how I should make it! So help me out guys! Should it go traditionally right to left, or how most people here in the West read things from left to right? I'm not sure how I should put it X_x;;...and I'm still debating over the characters names, there'll be two main ones, a guy and a girl, and their both new students at this high school. The title will be called Side Roads! ^__^ I got inspired cuz in my story two of my characters are creating this comic together in hopes of getting it published one day, and I'm thinking, why not create their comic?? And that's what I'm doing! Yay!!! The plot is kinda weak at this point, I haven't thought of everything yet as I've only just started on this project a couple days ago, but I know exactly what the characters look like and how theire relationships will be! *smiles* Wow, this is a REALLY LONG post! And I think I better stop now before you guys get really sick of me. Some of you probably have XD But just tell me what you think! ^^ Have a nice day everyone!
