The Warrior who hates the Rain (Ep.3)
The man held Ren around the waist and pressed his sword to her neck. The way he held her she was unable to move her arms. The Man moved one eye over Skual than over Almet and stared him in the eyes.
“I’m not afraid of you Skual you won’t take the shot while I hold Ren here, but Almet on the other hand could very well jab through my side missing all vital organs and give me a flesh wound . . . but I could very well step out in the rain and all three of you will be dead,” spoke the man. Skual was aiming the .45 with his left hand and holding it with his right which was on his watch.
“You wouldn’t step out in the rain, in pains you too much, so don’t bullshit me Mytho,” the man looked back at Skual and smiled, he fully extended his arm with the sword out in the rain. The rain drops fell and splashed on the sword and his arm. Where the rain touched him, he glowed, a blue aura enveloped his arm and hand. He drew it back to press the sword against Ren’s neck again. As he did the Sword seem to give of a small blue glowing trail of its movement. Ren was being press against him almost on his right side as if using her as a shield. Mytho’s glowing right arm bent outwards so he could but the blade against her neck. Almet stood in a stance where his swords were close together to make it so they almost fitted together like a puzzle to make a wider sword. The Rain had completely drenched his hair but his outfit was still repelling the drops. Skual was moving his fingers that rested on his watch. Up on the cliff the covered up man looked at his watch a red light flashed twice. He took his long rifle from under his many layers he opened the triple barrel chambers and loaded a dart into the bottom center one. He locked in back in and aimed downwards into the city. With his high-tech scope he had his sights on Mytho’s side he was waiting for a more clear shot without Ren being in the way. In the street Skual had put his arms down his .45 rested by his side. Almet hadn’t say anything since here arrived. Mytho was still staring him in the eyes but he was looking at Ren. Mytho coughed away from Ren breaking eye contact and than looked up at what sky he could see.
“Are you gonna let me run off or what cause I’m sick of waiting?” he asked.
“We’re suppose to let you run off in the rain like you were normal?” asked Skual.
“Why is it you seem to be an asshole every time we meet Skual? Even around friends you always try to mister big shot,” Mytho retorted at him.
“Cause I’m CIA I can do anything, and there’s nothing you can do to me” he replied.
“Yes I can I’m a new age warrior unlike yourself which means I can hack you down for impersonating a warrior,”
“Do you see the sword? Only New age Warriors are able to carry swords legally around” Skual says showing a long sword under his trench coat.
“Than why do you show your CIA ID when someone asks you if you’re a New age warrior,”
“Shut up I don’t need to take this shit from you,”
“Skual you shut up all he’s getting you to do let down your guard down, he could have done away with you at anytime during that conversation, the fact that he didn’t means two things . . . ,” Almet was sounding like he was a scientist that came onto something.
“Either he doesn’t want to enter the rain fully or he can’t attack a friend,” Almet was now smiling but still in the stance. Mytho smiled and closed his eyes and shook his head. Without opening his eyes to watch them he spoke out loud.
“Well for stepping out in the rain I will if I have to attack you,” he took one step to the end of the dried sidewalk and another one putting his leg out in the rain. Up on the cliff Kiore saw his opening and took it. He pulled the trigger and the dart shot out with a silence whoosh, the dart stuck in the neck but not the neck of Mytho but of Ren she was instantly knocked out and Mytho let her down gently on the ground. He had moved so fast and accurate out of the path of the dart and put Ren in its path.
“Shit!” yelled Skual he drew up another .45 and had both on Mytho. Almet had changed stance thinking Mytho was going to attack.
“Now it’s my turn,” Mytho threw his sword through the air over the building, Almet darted for Mytho. But Mytho had already started to run at Skual the Rain splashed against his body in movement. Like a football player pushing another player out of the way. Mytho ran through him knocking him against the pavement Almet was inches away from Mytho when it happen . . . as if time stopped Kiore on the cliff was reloading, Ren laid knocked out, Skual was hitting the Pavement, Almet was reading to stab Mytho, and the glowing blue specks on Mytho’s arm and face glowed brighter until burst of Light blinded them all in that moment . . .
