Museum of idiots
Danish? Pasteries
Oh, I mock the stupidity of the world with my most favoritest They Might Be Giants song. If you kids tune into the radio show tommorrow, I promise you'll get to hear them in all their glory.
But seriously, renaming Danish pasteries after the prophet? I mean, if you hate denmark, and you name what you hate after the prophet? I'd be kinda offended if I were him.
Or did I just blow your mind? ^_^

Hahaha.
Oh, that debate was fun! Nice try, naysayers, but CLEARLY I won.
Clearly.
Back to the fluff, now. Bargain-priced candy for everyone!

Some thoughts
It is considered shallow to love someone for their appearance because looks fade.
Why then is it not also considered shallow to love someone for their intellect which may fade through age or dementia?
Why then is it not also considered shallow to love someone for their personality which may change with the phases in their life: the happy-go-lucky child, the emotional teenager, the middle-aged workaholic, etc.?
I was once told you should love a person for their soul, but what assistance does this advice offer if the souls are compatible, but the bodies that contain them are not either because of the society that restricts them or the personalities they express themselves through?
Unconditional love may be proposed as the solution, but what good is this if love is given merely because it should be?
Is it then better to love because you have desire to do so, regardless of reciprocation or supposed validity of your reasons because the passion behind it purifies tainted reason and overshadows need for reciprocation?
What are the differentiating factors of love? We are told to love our neighbor, yet we search for that ‘someone.’ What is the difference between love of neighbor and love of a significant other? Is it the desire to procreate? If so, the only difference is the incorporation of an animal instinct, which is fairly discouraging. And if there is no difference, why do we spend so much time looking for that ‘someone’ when anyone will suffice? Why not just return to the days of arranged marriage? Or have we come to the point that shallowness and animal instinct have become default characteristics?
Is romantic love merely a novelty created by humans to justify their animalistic attractions, or does it actually exist, but as a rarity?
Why is it that teenaged humans feel the need to ‘date’? Is it hormone-induced madness? Is it desire for acceptance, a brief reprieve from the uncertainty of the high school hierarchy? Perhaps it is lemming-syndrome, the need to follow suit, interpreting dating as a right of passage, a step above playing house, and a step down from lifelong commitment.
Then again, who really stops to think about things like that? Have things like relationships become so commonplace that an analysis of motives is considered unnecessary? Why is it that people are so eager to question the motives of their partner, so willing to take the time to find a partner, but when it comes to questioning their own motives, there is less willingness to both discern motives and spend the time necessary to do so. This, to me, is unusual, hypocritical, and unfortunate.
If people are not willing to get to know themselves, either alone or through interaction with others, how can they expect another to exhibit a willingness to know them?
Happy Valentine's Day.

Comic!
Life, the RPG
Yeah, it's my latest comic for Sally's Not/The Marble Orchird, my webcomic in progress. I'm trying to aim for a weekly update...so far I'm up to two. Honestly, the colouring and drawing are the easy parts, sadly cleaning the damn thing is a major pain.
Check the comic out if ya please, or perhaps click previous a few times and see some of the others one. Any criticisms would be nice, haha, but I think this latest comic will speak to you if you've ever played an MMORPG.
I'll be back later to check all y'all sites, then it's home for the weekend! Whoo!
toodles

I kinda liked my one panel so much I made it my new icon...which I guess is my third icon I've had for theotaku. (pronounced "theo-taku")

Hmmm
Ah, it's nice to see people taking notice of this cartoon thing, you guys' had some very intelligent input, (I will stare accusingly at Roboartemis the most,) hehe ^_^.
It's still going on, though, so it'll be interesting to see if Denmark apologizes or not. I'd kinda like to see the US support them, though. Lord knows how often we bitch about "seperation of church and state." How do we respond to the half of the world where church=state?
I suppose one may never know where the line is crossed and censorship is needed. Is it ever? Words are a powerful force, so too are pictures, but are they only as powerful as the reaction to them?
Consider a single person shouting the most horrible things imaginable. Totally offensive.
Would it matter if nobody listened to them? Nope.
But if people do...more and more people...eventually...it becomes a greater force.
...
lost my train of thought. I dunno, do people think we need more censorship? Should the drawings be destroyed and an apology made?
Harken back tommorrow for new discussions and hopefully a comic. You know, talky, then funny.

The world is stupid
Those damned cartoons again
The US is home to more stupidity than one cares to fathom most of the time.
But luckily, there's a whole section of the world that's even stupidier.
Judaism forbids icons of God, but you don't see them burning down the Sistine Chapel, do you?
I've studied all the major religions of this dang world, (rather in-depth, too, for it interested me,) and your religion is super, but your society is crap. Even worse than our war-starting government full of liars, who care less for the people, society, and life of this country more than any previous administration.
Idiots, complete idiots. Get over it already.

Good Golly
Damn I need sleep. Damn! Damn I say! Haha!
I can cuss like hell all I want, whoo!
So I was walking home tonight from the place, ya see, and I saw a pizza delivery guy, roughly my age and all, a college guy, running up to the dorm. He had his car still running and all, and I thought to myself, I thought "Wouldn't it be awesome to slip a dollar bill under his windshield wiper? I mean, he'd come back and be like, 'golly gee, an american dollar! Yay!' and then he'd go buy himself a soda or something.
Wouldn't that be sweet? I made somebody's day! But sadly I didn't have a dollar, so my momentary cool idea was lost to the wind.
I must say, I shall have to become rich so I may go and slip people dollars. They may call me mad, or daresay, even a tad daffy. Ho ho ho.
ALSO. JD Person asked for Yuan x Sheena from ToS. Having neither drawn either of them, it's going kinda slow...but I've got the idea down, now to draw, scan, and colour. Easy, huh? ^^

The truth!
Well geeze, people almost pretended to care, sooooo I have a new fanart up. It's Naruto, will you click and vote for it? Will it tickle your funny bone? Perhaps, maybe. ^____^
Oh, and since JD Person asked, yeah, I'd do a commission, I suppose. That's how I did something for Bleach and Yu-yu-hakusho, two animes I have never seen before, haha.
As you can see, though, I can't do much besides chibis...but if you perhaps needed something chibified, I could help you out. If I recall, you asked for a fanart some time ago...but I couldn't pull off all the details.
I did, however, end up with a pic of chibis kissing due to that. Man, some things are so cute they must rot your teeth.
Oh yeah, happy Saturday, everyone! Check out the fanart and be amused for a moment! ^^

News.
Disney bought Pixar. Watch for Steve Jobs to conceivably build some type of giant amusement park for MACs.
Mother 3 is coming out. Whether or not we finally get it here in the states is less clear...because NOA hates us for some reason. Maybe because we care. /sob
I was working on a fanart because I realized I haven't had anything new since November. Luckily, I have some random pics on my laptop that I haven't coloured yet. Sadly, Shino's coat proved to be too much of a bother tonight. Maybe tommorrow? Yeah, sure.
Palestine now has a crazy terrorist government, forcing the world to ask itself, "What exactly do you do when terrorists are democratically elected?" Well, hopefully you treat them like communists and not start a war...oh...right. <_<
That's all for today. Fanart later, maybe, enjoy the weekend, kids!
