I had a fun Friday night! I went
out with Mrs. Quattlebaum, Jennete and a new exchange student to our school from
Russia, Delailah.

During 2nd block, just as we were getting ready to leave, Mrs. Quattlebaum called me to her desk. She'd asked me during
if I had anything planned for the weekend, I said no, so, she asked me how would I like to go to the movies with her and Jennete.
The whole class was like, "Why not
me? You better go, that sounds like fun!"
Lol, and she said she'd let me use her cell to call my mom and let her know.

We called my mom, Mrs. Quattlebaum
talked with her, she said it was ok. The car was trashed with empty green tea bottles from Mrs. Q, and Pop Tart wrappers from Jennete.

The first place we went was a hair salon called "Snobs".

Outside, it looks like any
of the other old, downtown buildings, but inside it was huge and gorgeous. There was a
giant Christmas tree; HUGE and you could smell the pine, a crystal chandelier, statues
of Japanese soldiers.

They lightened my hair, chopped it off really short, and asymetrical bangs, then dyed it dark, dark red.

After that, we went to Mrs. Q's house to let out her weenie dogs, Scooby and Dalphnie and so that she and Jennete could change. Her house is really nice.

We waited outside a church for Delailah.
We got a call from Delailah to just head to the mall, she'd be late as someone in her host family was too busy eating.

They tried to doll me up in new clothes, next.

A black tank top under a brown top, a half-jacket in army green, sweater with a grey fur collar, and faded blue jeans.
I actually liked the styles they were picking out, but they were just too small for me.

We went to get some chow at Chik-fil-A, and then I took Mrs. Q to Hot Topic, ha.

We didn't get anything in there, but I did see Andrew working. I could not resist ruffling his soft emo hair out of his face.

We went and get Jennete and Delailah, left for the
movies! We didn't know what to see, so, while Jennete, Delailah and I finished our food, Mrs. Q went out to see what was playing and asked some former students of her's outside what the suggested.

They suggested "August Rush". Delailah wanted to see Bee Movie!
XD

August Rush was really good! Jennete, Delailah and I constantly kept wiping tears
away. Jennete and I would groan and look at each other if the boy did something really stupid, Delailah would yell at the screen.
"Run, run!!" And bounce.
So cute, lol.

I got home at midnight.

What I learned in 1st block History today:

Alabama apparently has "gang" (ha) lines. And among these gang lines, the East/West Coast line is between a KFC and Churches Chicken.

LMAO. I don't even know how we got on that subject, but we spent the half the class explaining it to Coach.

   Alabama Anime Club's First Meeting!

*cracks fingers* Ah, just got back from the Alabama
Anime Club meeting that was held at Chris's house.

Sam, Chris and a friend of their's, a woman named
Dee, picked me up right after school. Shanna's had
never gotten an answer from her mom, so, she did
not come, too. :(

When we first got there, all the others were already
there and waiting outside. We had a funny, classic
moment... I went to kick Chris and I kicked his pack
of ciggs PERFECTLY out of his hand and it went
flying and landed right infront of the other guys.
Everyone was like, "OH SHIT!!!" the one token
One guy yelled, "Ooo, free ciggarettes!"

It was a blast, there was a few familiar faces, a few
new. Our guy who runs it all now works at FYE and
he is not only incharge of where and when we hold
our meetings, but what fresh, new, popular anime to
bring into the store and one of the ways we do this
is ADV sends a free anime DVD and we review it.

Yep, we sit and watch an anime DVD and then we
rate it 1 to 5 and give comments on it. But the one
we viewed tonight was a "visionary" anime or some crap like that where it's a long, boring-ass story,
lol. None of us had the attention span for it.

We also ate sushi Chris made for us and green tea.

When we rated the animes; I put a smiley face by the first of
the trailor reviews and we had a guy about my age,
maybe a year or so older, military dude, who
rated all his like higher than 5... Our head guy
was like, "The ratings are 1 to 5, not 10! And she
put a smiley face! How do I explain this to Fye!?"
XDD

None of us liked the anime and when he was
trying to rate our opinions, I said, "Put a sad
face down for me."

We even ended up wrestling... I don't know how,
lol. He made some comment, I launched at him,
almost pulling down his shorts, so, he fell across
me, laying over my stomach and chest... when
my punches weren't working, I dug my nails into
his scalp, he yelped then. I always manages to
hurt someone with my nails! And Corey
laid ontop of him for a minute, then, I kicked my
feet up and shoved military dude off me and he
did a head roll-flip off.

At one point, when I hurled my pillow at his face,
he said, "I like fighting with her! She gives back
just as strong!"

We'd put on music and dance like dorks... I was
the only one getting into any Jrock or Jpop Sam
would put on.

They kept asking what members who weren't there
did they think were ever going to come to junctions.
They mentioned Misty by her screenname and Sam
said, "Well, Alicia hates her and we want Alicia to
be there far more than her, trust me." <3 When they
asked black Corey about his brother, he too mentioned
wanting to kill him, I laughed, "Damn, let's all just
name who we want to kill!" XD

But all in all, we had fun and we talked about what
we needed to, we even set up stuff for Shanna so
if she could get off work, she was able to come, too.

The Food Dynamics class parties were so much fun.

Oh, my god, we all had like only 5 minutes to get ready before the judges showed up and I was running around like crazy.

One of the coaches came by to judge us, and he tested my already testy nerves by pointing
out like a jackass that our invitation was not made like everyone elses and was bought.

And when I get mad, I talk 90 mph.

I looked at him and said, "Well, you try running around like a headless chicken buying all this
crap by yourself when you ain't got the money and no one in our group has ink, so, you don't
need to be hating, because we did all we could and I did most this crap myself so don't you try to tell me what we ain't got done!"

I did have to restrain myself from cussing... I wanted to end my sentence with, "Damn!"

He just blinked at me, LMAO. My teammates were laughing and Clement piped in, "You tell him!"

At least britangie let me know she couldn't go get the stuff, so, even at last minute I was able to cover for her.

Mrs. Bonner, my old Fashion Dynamics teacher, was one of the judges~! I was so happy to see her, I gave her a hug, lol.

YehSung... in black eyeliner andbsinging a TRAX song!? Does this man WANT me to kidnap him!? D: This man is so fucking beautiful in every way possible and I want him. <333

Men That Own My Soul:
Ueda Tatsuya (KAT-TUN)
YehSung (Super Junior)
Jay Kim (TRAX)
Kyo (Dir en grey)
Kaoru (Dir en grey. Yes, it's official. Him, too.)
Hideto "hide" Matsumoto (He is God, afterall.)
Masuda Takahisa (NewS)

These are not just men who I like or find hot, for these are men that can bring the NaeNae to her knees and make me a pile of drooling, fangirl mush.

At break, I was telling Shanna about the YehSung clip I watched and she started singing "Are You
Ready?" as we were going inside and our friend Kerry walked by yelling, "Not really, no!" and then as he was behind us he yelled, "Okay, now I am!" LMAO!

Ah, so, last night, Friday night, I went to our state's Peanut Fair, with Shanna! ...I can still taste the onion and Italian sausage I ate.

Shanna, with her mom and dad, came and got me, and they dropped Shanna and me off. We got our armbands. Armbands let you just show them to the people and ride as many rides as you want without having to pay for each one.

Oh, man, my head is such a blur, I can't even recall what the first ride we went on was. I think, though, we went in one of the buildings, first, to see the peanut people booths Shanna had helped work on, both had Chuck Berry themes, lol, but she said the theme for all of them were suppose to be 50s rock n' roll. It
was cute. They had peanut girls in poodle skirts on thinks that made them twist, I wish I had my camera, some were really cute and
others were amazing, I couldn't believe that they were only 5th and 2nd place!

We had found Cody in there and then all of us went on rides together. The fun thing at the fair is, especially the first night, if feels like the whole city is there, so, you're bound
to run into all your classmates, lol.

First person we met was Christina, an old friend we use to hand out with, still friends, we just don't really hang out, lol, with Jenette!

I asked Jenette if she was having fun so far, she gave me a big smile and a enthusiastic, "Yeah!"

I saw other friends there, like Skittle, Flippi, kids from class, Robert...

They even managed to somehow drag me on a ride a normally wouldn't. It's one that everyone sits in a line and is buckled down by a bar across them all and it swings side to side, then gets so high, and higher, that you are up in the air, the worst is when it does a full circle spin.

The whole time in line I kept saying, "I gonna die, I'm gonna die..." lol. When they got me
on the ride, first thing I said to Shanna was, "I hate you..." XD

When it got going, I was SCREAMING, "Crap! AHHH! Crap! Crap! Crap! AHH! MOMMY!!!!" and there was this blonde mom with her two daughters beside Shanna who laughed her ass off at everything I yelled.

We went on the Blizzard, another favorite. Cars go around in circles, kinda waves up and down, it goes backwards, too.

We got on the Crazy Mouse, which is like a kid's roller coaster... Not really, it is tall and
it jars you around like you think it's about to fall over the side and it spins, too. No loops (I will never go on a roller coaster with loops) but lots of big dips and twists and turns, lol.

We got back on the "CRAP MOMMY!" ride and this time I was all sweet "wee"s, lol. We saw Robert and waved to him. All the people on the ride imitated me in swinging their legs side to side with the ride, lol.

Some goth guy came up to me, holding his goth girlfriend by the shoulders, who was smiling shyly and said, "She wanted to say
'hi' to you." I look down and she smiles and says "Hi~!"
I just waved and stared confusedly.

Okay...? She's cute with her big bug eyes covered in black eyeliner, and glitter, and her dark red hair, but who is she? XD

We were tired and aching and were running out of rides, so, seeing we were beside the ferris wheel, which Shanna wanted to go on all night, I asked if it was the big or small one. She said small. I told her take us to the big one. If we were going to do this, it
might as well be all the way, right?

Mrs. Quattlebaum keeps getting on my good
side more and more, now. She made me so
proud the other day when she said she finally
accepted her daughter converting to Muslim,
because she said she stopped and looked at
it from her daughter's view.

We also carved pumpkins. Michale scooped
out all guts, and when he went to go wash
his hands, he said some teacher said that
he looked like a frog, lol (his green mohawk).

I sat beside Mrs. Quattlebaum and watched
her carve a raccoon into it. Omg, it was all
lopsided when she finished, so, they stuck
a pencil on the bottom left side... Now it's
Peggy the Peg-legged Pumpkin. XD

In Food Dynamics, Jenette, our Turkmenistan
exchange student, came up to my desk and
said, "Mrs. Quattlebaum told me about what
happened to your dad. I'm very sorry, are you
alright?"

I smiled and thanked her and as class was
dismissed, I walked up to her desk and I
gave her a hug. She told me if I ever needed
anything, I could talk to her. And she was just so sweet and cut it made
me smile ear to ear. With all the love, I know
I'll be alright. :)

On the bus, Flippi kept singing "I wanna sex
you up", then, he and his emo gal pal were
arguing over what they should name his penis.
Flippi asked, "Alicia! What sounds better?
Queen Elizabeth or Lacrecia? We're trying to
name my penis."
"I'm not helping you name your penis."
Then he and the girl argued awhile, I respond-
ed, "How about 'non-existant'?"
He asked everyone on the bus around him. As
you can imagine, not many people answered
him, lol. Then he went back to singing.

   Annie's Halloween Party!
[Music: Go Girl! Koi no Victory - Morning Musume ]
[Watching: Ronin Warrior OVAs!!! ]
[Currently: Should be getting dressed. x3 ]

More photos from Fye anime party, pics from
worker at Fye:

seraphicdeviltry676/Animania/?start=0

So, Annie's Halloween party Saturday night!

Yeah, these posts are going to be outta whack
since MyO was screwed over the weekend, lol.

Kyle came to get me a bit early and I was still
doing my hair and hadn't gotten my shoes on
yet, so, it took me a minute or two.

We get up to Annie's and the Chinese girl
exchange student who they've taken in, Mie
(pronounced "me") answered the door. She
was SO cute! Short hair and emo glasses! :3

Annie took Kyle in the back to help him get in
to his costume and I stood in the living room
talking to Annie's mom and Mie. Annie's mom
asked me about my dad and they both gave
me their sympathy.

Kyle came out in thigh-high fishnets, panties,
a corset, arm bands and not much else. XD

He was suppose to be Dr. Franknfurter, but
he so needed like my dad's black afro, lol.
When Cody came by as Alucard, I thought I
was going to piss myself laughing! XDDD

We were like, "You look like Cher meets John
Lennon meets a pimp... we just went on, then
he said he looked like Howard Stern and OMG
he did! So, I kept saying he was Howard Stern
cosplaying as Alucard. XD

Mie was taking lots of pictures and she used
my camera card to put on her laptop to save
some of my pictures and kept saying, "Whoa,
people back home not gonna believe me!" XD

Mie brought out her laptop and showed us all
pictures of her classmates, friends and of her
home country.

What was really cute was during her picture-
slideshow, the power died and she whinned
in a very cute Engrish voice,
"Where's the powah!?"

We all cracked up so hard. It sounded like a
bad Engrish super hero asking where all their
super powers went. XD<3

And Annie's mom told Mie to play a song she
really liked, her favorite song and she played
this ballad and said, "The singer, he is a very
popular man in China."

I asked, "What's his name?"
She said, "Jay Chou." but her accent was so
thick, I asked, "Jay Chou?"
She said, "Yeah!"
I perked up, "I listen to his music! I like him!"
And she perked up, "Really!? I did not know
Americans knew about him!" lol.
We sorta fangirled for a second like, "Yeah,
I like Jay Chou!" and everyone laughed. XD

Mie kept running back and forth from her room
in the back. At one point she came back with
a tiny tiara and we put it on Cody's head. XD

Kyle and Annie played a fighting video game, I
sat in the middle, making funny comments.

They had the gayest characters... Annie had
some guy in a shiny silver shirt and a woman
in a dominatrix leather bikini while Kyle had
two neko-girls. Annie sucked, so, I kept teas-
ing. x3 I was like, "You're getting your ass
kicked by CAT GIRLS. Can't you blind them
with your shirt? Grab 'em by the tail! Wow,
they have really good boob-tape..." XD

My favorite duel was between the Japanese
school girl who liked to flash her panties and
the black guy in the skintight silver bodysuit
with a light hanging from his head like the fish.
It was so fucking gay and funny! XD

Cody went to go his DDR game, which we
never did end up playing, and was gone for
what felt like hours. XD

For dinner we had hot dogs. Annie's dad and
I can tell stories for hours and that's mostly
what we did at dinner, Mie was the only other
one who'd tell stories, too, lol. At one point,
Annie's dad was telling a story, but I saw
Kyle about to eat a plain weenie... He's all
dressed in whore cloths... I couldn't resist
the photo chance. Annie saw this and we
both were just fucking cracking up. XD My
friends always use to tell me I needed to
meet Annie because we'd get along so well.
Lol, they were right! :3

When I was talking about my dad, I mentioned
the hulla girl outfit and Annie's dad cracked-up
and said, "I never met him and I think I like him
already!" XD

We went into a back room so Annie could
show me videos of Dragon*Con, a con she
goes to, and I could show her videos of my
beloved MomoCon, lol. Oh, and Annie said
she might be able to go to MomoCon, too!

But when she asked Kyle if he's going as
Kenpachi, who's gonna be his Yachiru, he
mentioned Misty and I exploded. I said if
I saw that bitch's face at MomoCon, if she
showed up, I'd kill her and that wasn't even
a joke.

Anyway, we also ended up watching lots of
other funny videos. Mie would watch some,
then run off... We should tie that girl down.
XD But she just arrived the day before (yeah,
good impression we're already leaving! XD)
so, I think she was still settling in.

I showed Annie the Real Fans of Genius
videos and introduced her to Hard Gay!!
Woooo~! She loved him, lol.

We acted silly the whole night. Cody and I
battled with giant wooden food utensils, we
sat in a circle on the floor as Annie read an
Egyptian book about death and we were all
(meaning Cody, Kyle and I XD) acting like
smartass kids...
Annie: "That's a knife!"
Cody: "It looks like a corn cob."
Me (not Mie XD): "Wow. Egyptians can't draw."
Annie: "When you die, this thing eats your
soul if your evil..."
Me: "An ardbark with a pig's ass will eat our
souls...?"
It was so funny, we were next to tears from
laughing at some of the stuff. Kyle was right;
we should have video tapped it, lol.

Shiiiit. Because of all the events that have been
going on, I never did have time to do my doodles
of like chibi KAT-TUN and Dir en grey and maybe
others with Halloween themes. D:

I thank you all for your love, support, sympathy
and kind words. You really have no idea how
much it means to me. :)

Tiger: Thank you. I do plan to actually keep in
touch with Faye, infact, I hope she will come
to my Foods class Thanksgiving dinner.

My dad wasn't perfect, but he was awesome.
He is someone I will always look up to and
admire. He's all I wish I can be, too.

Bou-chan: You really don't read my posts, do
you, sweetie? lol. I've mentioned my father is
a Marine countless times.

And yes, Okinawa is a military base, so, you
get stationed over there. My cousin Justin is
in Okinawa right now.

Yeah, the last picture is nice. It was used as
the last photo in the slideshow. Very fitting.

When the priest waved insense over my dad's
casket, my uncle leaned over and joked, "Well,
your dad always loved insense..." XDDD

Hahaha, the line about Ueda's big lips got me
to smile. Thanks, hun.

Momo: Thank you, that means so much to
know. Yes, it's hard sometimes, but I just
try to keep going. I can't just fall to pieces,
that won't do any good, anyhow.

Yeah, I always hate when I hear of somebody
pass and I think, "I wish I could have met them!"
At least with him, I not only met him, I had him
as a dad. :3 I was lucky.

Japanese translator for the Air Force? That's
awesome! ^^ Air Force is good money, too,
so, you'll be in good shape! XD Military is a
great thing for education. I understand where
people get their misconseptions about the
military, I just like to point out what I know is
TRUE.

Sasaya: Aww! *hugs* I didn't mean to make
anyone cry! XD

Yeah, my family is crazy, but strong and with
my extended family of bikers and all my dad's
friends, there's no way I can't make it through
all of this okay. XD

Yeah, my dad was all about life, so, how
could I possibly respect his spirit by giving
up on my own...?

OMFG! That prank sounds awesome! XD If
I ever run into another sci-fi convention, I am
SO doing that!!! XD

Kyle... and he wonders why people think he's gay... XD

Kyle and Annie pointing to the "WTF" on her shirt, lol.

Kyle and Mie. :3

Bad Dr. Frankenfurter and Ghetto-Alucard and Kyle's face says it all, lol.

Group picture. Blah. I like the ones we took an Annie's camera. Not blurred, we actually posed, Mie posed with me, lol. They were cuter.

Emo Alucard... XDD

Eat the weenie, whore!!! XD

Kyle and Annie playing video games... I blinded them with the flash. XD

Never leave me alone with a camera, lol. Here's me and Megan!

XD If you don't ask, I won't either. XD

Know that painting "America Goth" with the farmer and his wife... yeah. XD

Alucard with Mie's pretty tiara~! XD

I put Alucard's hat on Mie... How cuuute! >w<

...Hitler, gay pirate-patriot... yeah, don't ask about this one either. XD We had too many Halloween cookies. XD

MomoCon like THAT! o_O

My Father's Funeral

FINALLY! I am so sorry. I did get home Sat., but MyOtaku was... well, we all know, lol.

1:16 PM, Saturday, Oct. 27. I'm back home.

My father's viewing was on Thursday and his his funeral was Friday. Both were very nice.

We got so lost on the way up there, because my stepdad wouldn't stop to ask directions.

He finally pulled into a parking lot an my uncle Wiatt, grinning, came and got us. We went to Celine's house. A lot of the family was there. I saw my cousin April, who's my age, but we're
so different we hardly ever got along much. She gave me a hug and asked if I was alright. I got
a lot of hugs as you can imagine, lol.

My aunts and uncles all sat at the dinner table along with my mom and stepdad, discussing
what to do and what I had to do. They joked about asking me if at the funeral I wanted to be on this thing that would swing me. XD

My 13 yr old cousin, Alex, who is kinda into anime was sitting on the couch reading her "Hibiki's Magic" manga. She kept showing
me all her favorite parts.

Before the viewing we had to go to the house so they could let me go through dad's room.

They let me know that all the stuff he owned was mine, anyway, so, I could take whatever
I wanted.

My dad has weird shit. XD

You'd think it'd make us sad to go through his
room, but we were so busy having a laugh at
all the crazy shit he owned, we couldn't be.

Anne, one of my aunts, was telling us how she
was in the other room while Wiatt was in dad's
room and all of a sudden she heard, "Boing,
boing, boing, boing!"

Wiatt had opened dad's closet and all his little
bouncy ball collection had spilled out and Wiatt
was trying to chase them all down! XD

I took all the bouncy balls and said that on my
dad's birthday, I'll release them all at once in
his honor, lol.

We found his hulla girl, leperchaun and hippie
costumes, weird hats (I did let uncle David get
the hot dog one, lol), some of his books which
included the ORIGINAL, hardback, signed ver.
of Memoirs of a Geisha and some Marine Corp.
books. I left some for my cousin, Nathan, cause
they said he'd adore any Marine-related books.

Also got his canes and posters, his vest, his
Korea jacket, Anne found his Japanese silk
pajamas for me along with the blanket he got
for being in Okinawa... All his Asian stuff they
dug up for me. Some of his movies... lots of
random stuff, all which made me smile.

He has so many canes, Wiatt joked, "You'd think the man was a cripple!" I got like 4 or
5 of them and there were so many left over,
Wiatt joked that each brother and sister could
have one and maybe some of the kids, lol.

At the viewing, I was allowed to dress in my
regular cloths. TRIPP pants and my hoodie.

Viewing was held at the Chattanooga Funeral
Home right across from their Catholic church.
We were in Palor A. He laid in his casket in
blue Marine uniform, the lid of the casket had
the Marine Corp symbol.

We all got a good chuckle at how hard they
tried to make his messy hair look decent,
yet still couldn't hide his cowlick, lol. But he
looked handsome, nonetheless.

They let me view him with family for as long
as I wanted before friends could. I kissed his
forehead... Good way to realize a person is
really dead. If felt like kissing an ice box. I
didn't touch his skin after that, just his hair.

I cried a lot. People would comfort me. Wiatt
made himself my tissue-man, again, lol. He'd
take my used tissues and get me new ones.

Joesph (these are my uncles, btw) said the best
sentiments. He didn't use any sugary words or
religious bullshit that I was so sick of hearing. He
just hugged me and said, "This fucking sucks."

Old ladies are depressing as fucking hell. They'd
all come up to me and stare at me with sad eyes
like they were trying to drain any happiness or
calm I'd found and were waiting for me to cry. I
liked it better when people came up to me and
would tell me how they knew my dad and then
would tell a funny story about him. It helped.

Lots of people would just come up to me and
stare for awhile before saying, "She looks just
like her dad." I heard a lot of comparisons to
my dad.

I went outside at one point, sat under a tree by
the road. I saw a long line of bikes pull in. They
were all from one of my dad's biker groups, The
Southern Cruisers.

There were also some Marines there. I found
out later a young man named Chad Love, a
Marine had died. He drowned. He was in the
Parlor G. I saw his name on the board beside
my dad's "Chad Love USMC". My dad's had
his sergent rank before his name.

His Marine Corp. friends who came by to see
him found out my dad was a Marine and they
came to pay their respects.

They'd run into my mom. She'd told them she
was his ex-wife. She said when they found out
he had a 19 yr old daughter (me), they kept on
saying, "I'm so sorry."

Mom said later at the motel, "The one thing
about Marines. They never forget about their
own." Mom said they wanted to talk to me,
but I was outside at the time.

That's why I get offended when people talk
down about Marines.

When Faye arrived, Celine ran up to me to let
me know. I gave Faye and her sister a hug. I
grew worried about Faye just seeing her. She
looked so empty nd depressed, like there was
hardly anything holding her up.

Her sister, Norma, told me she's mosty been
sleeping, which is what she does when she's
depressed. Norma both at the funeral and at
the viewing kept begging I keep in contact. I
promised I would, and I will.

Once Faye viewed his body, I let her see his
funny photo album that was beside his casket.
I wanted her to smile. The first picture you see
is my dad in a coconut bra and hulla skirt. How
can you not smile? lol.

Afterwords, I went up to her and said, "They
told me you never saw my dad in suspenders."
and with that, I pulled out the American flag
suspenders I saved just to give her. It got her
to smile and laugh a little. :)

Faye was just so crushing to watch. She broke
my heart when she mention how this Thanks-
giving, they planned to come and get me so I
could have spent my first Thanksgiving with my
dad and them.

When my mom mentioned how we were going to
leave early Saturday so I could go to a Halloween
party, I said, "Dad wouldn't want me to mop around."
I mosty said that to Faye, who I was on the floor,
she was in the chair beside me. It was me saying
to her, it's okay to be sad, but it's okay to be happy
too and my dad wouldn't want to see you like this.

Joesph was going around snapping pictures. He
went to take a picture of Faye and Norma's kids
looking at my dad's body and they posed all
cheesy, with tounges out and giving peace signs,
I chuckled and told them dad would have been
so proud of that, lol.

And because he was Catholic, there was this
long ass ceremony with the rosary beads. It
is basically the priest goes down each single
bead on the roseary necklace and chants The
Our Father:
Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.

And everytime he says that, everyone else
says the Hail Mary:
Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of death.

And they repeat this over and over until they
have gone through each bead. yes, it's very
repeatitive. When it ended, Joesph went to
the casket and started chanting, "A~men.
A~men." all the brothers and sisters joined.
Some looked on confused, Joesph smiled
and explained it was tradition. Yeah, they
did it every Thanksgiving after prayer.

There was a last viewing before the funeral on
the day of it. I was dressed up in a long black
skirt, boots that killed my poor feet and black
jacket. Everyone joked it was sad it took such
a tragedy to get me to look like a girl, lol.

The bikers all came in on their motorcycles. It
was such a site. Tom had 3 giant flags on the
back of his bike. An American one, a USMC
one and another. One of the guys joked, "I'm
riding infront of you; I don't want those flags
slapping me in the face." XD

Tom also showed us his new patch on his
vest. It said in memory of my father and he
told mom he'd send me one. <3

So many people honored my father as if
he were a celebrity. Ruby Falls, one of
the places he worked, lowered all their
flags to half-mass just for him.

I was able to stay calm, cool, proper... I did
start to tear up when I walked up to my dad's
casket and said, "Good-bye, Daddy."

We got in a limo and drove to the church right
across the street. I acted like a proper young
lady, hands infront of me, head either bowed
or held high. I had to walk behind the casket
and help 3 of my aunts drape the white sheet
with a silver cross with yellow, orange and
silver over dad's casket.

There was a small Asian boy carrying the
cross thing and blonde and brunette girls
behind him holding the candles, all three
in white robes. You've seen it on tv. The
priest shook water on the casket, sand a
song and we walked in.

I cried a lot. And I only had one tissue. I kid
not, after, I squeezed it 5 times and it was
just dripping water like a leaky faucet. o.O

All the eulegies told funny stories of my dad.
My dad made friends with every single person
he met and NO ONE who ever met him could
ever think of a bad thing to say about him. He
was outgoing, funny, nice, had a great sense
of humor, wondeful laugh and love for life. My
dad was someone truly to admire.

Some people would walk by me, like after
they'd gone up their for the priest to bless
them and recieve the body and blood of
Christ (bread and wine), they'd pat my
shoulder or hug me... my itty bitty cousin
Haley glomped me around the shoulders.
It was so sweet, I smiled through tears.

My aunts and uncles read parts from the
bible.

The day of the funeral also happened to be two
of my cousins birthdays. Sam and Mackenzie.

Sam wasn't there, even though his sister, Alex,
was. Mackenzie was there. I kept grabbing her,
giving her kisses on the cheek and wishing her
a happy birthday.

At the church, it was a beautiful Catholic funeral.
The Catholics are so morbid and dark, it's only
fitting they can do death so beautiful, lol.

I had to walk behind the casket

We drove to the cemetary and the sight was
pure amazing. Behind the hearst and limos
was a long trail of motorcycles, led by Tom.

We'd turn a corner and watch the motorcycles
pass and it seemed like the line of them would
never end.

He was burried in a military cemetary, just like
he wanted. Military funerals and cemetaries
are the best. They're so amazing and beautiful.

When we got there, we arrived at this little
concrete covered area with chairs and his
casket resting on a cement block.

I had to shake hands with one of the Marines,
a young black male, so that he could know I
was the one he handed the flag to.

I sat on the very end of the first row. For some
reason, when I see Marines, I'm able to stay
very composed, so, I was the only one there
not crying. XD

I had to say a lot of stupid shit in my head at
some points to keep from crying. XD Like in
my head I was going, "Shama-lama-ding-dong,
squirrles..." anything, lol.

The preacher talked some, two baby-faced
Marines stood right outside the covered area.
After, some bagpipe player played that song,
you know, the one people will sing when you
are about to face doom, lol. Uncle David said
dad didn't trip over their dad's grave, but must
have tripped the bapipe player up.

Right after, they did a 21 gun salute. Everyone
jumped, even my aunt who was watching and
ready, but not me. XD Mom jumped and laughed.
She whispered to me, "I forgot that part!"

After , the two Marines walked up to
the casket and in stiff motions removed the
American flag off his casket.

The black one held one in as the white one began
to fold it into the triangle. Poor guy. My family had
later mentioned how poorly he did it, but I saw
where he messed up and it's not easy. He tried.

After he folded it, the black Marine turned and
faced another white Marine. He held it up for
him as this guy would hit the flag three times
with a bullet, tucking it inside the flag, saying
at each one, "For God. For country. For honor."

Then, the black Marine turned on his heel and
walked up to me. I swallowed the lump in my
throat. I knew what was next and wanted to be
very proper.

He kneeled before me, presenting the flag and
looked me dead straight in the eyes and said,
"On behalf of the President of the United States,
the Commandant of the Marine Corps, and a
grateful nation, please accept this flag as a symbol
of our appreciation for your loved one's service to
Country and Corps."

I was trying so hard not to cry, but this guy's
voice was so shakey as though he were going
to cry! I kept thinking in my head, "C'mon dude,
please hold up! I'm trying to hold up myself, so,
you have to, too!"

I smiled softly and nodded to him as he handed
the flag over to me and I held it in my lap.

They ended it by playing Kansas's "Dust in the
Wind", the song daddy always would tell me he
wanted played at his funeral. That's when I finally
broke down and cried, and of course, an uncle
was by my side, embracing my shoulder, lol.

But I laughed... Everyone said how they hated
that song, how cheesy it was... Yet they were
all singing along. Dad must have been laughing
his ass off at that, lol.

The Marines stuck around, because Chad Love's
funeral was the same day, too. I will always pay
my respects to him, too, because the Marines
were kind enough to do the same for my father.

After, people collected the flowers. I took one
rose, Marie gave me another and I ended up
collecting a whole, bright bouque, lol.

Norma asked again to stay in touch. I hugged
Faye and told her to please be strong. That
woman is so fragile, it's heartbreaking to even
look her in the face...

Then we drove back to the church for lunch. I
gave Mackenzie more hugs, kisses and birth-
day wishes... It must suck to have your birth-
day same day as a funeral... She's 9, now,
by the way. :3

The food was yummy. I sat at a table with
mom, my stepdad, David and his wife, and
the flag had its own seat beside me, lol.

My aunt Marine gave me another bullet. She
said it's tradition to hand them out to family.

We all told funny stories about my dad, David
explained the one he told at the funeral, about
how my dad accidently burned 80 acres, but
somehow it was still all David's fault, because
HE had the matches, lol.

His wife told me about their sons, Justin, I
know of. He's my cousin who is into anime
too and we'd fight like crazy until Tenchi
Muyo came on. XD

She said right now he's in service and in
Okinawa and that he goes to anime cons
in Maine as Miroku. That he once asked
girls to bear his children, got 80 yes, 30
no and his mom asked, "How many slapped
you?" XD

They later asked me my e-mail address so
that we could talk.

One of the funniest moments... My mom is
a HUGE Bama fan, the family are all Tenn-
essee fans. Uncle Ricky and mom will act
like kids fighting over it.

They used mom's Bama pen to pass around
as everyone was writing e-mails and addresses
down... Ricky wrote like 3 addresses, we
watched, snickering as we realized he had no
idea yet what he was writing with. When he
finally did, he hurled it acrossed the room and
screamed and our table errupted in laughs. XD

Back at our motel there was a Sci-fi convention
going on. Mom and I would run down the halls
to go to the vending machine with microwave
foods and would crack up.

Mom would try to shush me from making fun
of them, but I'd laugh, "What are they gonna
do? I'm an otaku. Our swords are bigger!"

I even made up a song for them: "Oh, to be
fat and 40 and a drunken pirate!" because
some were dressed as pirates, all were dead
drunk. I asked mom, "Pirates aren't sci-fi.
They existed. Aren't they suppose to be crap
like aliens?" XD

The funniest was I was getting a frozen pizza
and we hear: "Baby, baby... I'm drunk." and
this woman in short leather hot pants, a cape
coat and halter top and long brown hair comes
stumbling out, being held up by two men, one
who amusedly asks, "Are you talking to your
daughter?" (she was on her cell).
She replied, "No. I'm drunk. I wouldn't talk to
my daughter drunk." I was so close to pissing
myself laughing! XD

I played on mom's laptop a lot. Read fics or
played Gravitation or music videos. We got
home early so I could go to the Halloween
party... and that will be the next post.

(I'm sure I left out a lot, but this post is so
bloody long... not like I could help it. Hope
some of you read it all, anyway.)

Pictures of my Dad:

The guy beside him is Tom.

Poor reindeer. Looks like he rammed it up the ass with the bike! XD

As Jin says "Everything's gonna be alright."
You didn't expect a KAT-TUN song quote from me? Come on! XD

[Music: Lucky Cha Cha Cha... Damn you, Mini Moni! ]
[Watching: Kevin James: Sweatin' the Small Stuff ]
[Currently: Getting ready to leave... Not really. Lagging around. x3 ]

Okay, so, some not so good news, peeps. My
dad has passed away, but it was peaceful, so,
that's good, ya know? I'm okay. At least I don't
have to sit and WAIT and WONDER anymore.

It was weird, today at school. I had no idea of
all this, I was told about him going to pass in
about 2 or 3 days the night before, but I was
okay and I was fine this morning... quiet and
zombie-ish, but no water works.

I get outside to break and I don't know what
came over me, but I just started to tear up.
Shanna put her arm around me and kept on
asking what was wrong, but I didn't trust my
voice, so, I pulled out a sheet of paper and
said, "My dad was put in comfort care. He's
going to die in 2 or 3 days."

I kept sobbing and holding to my Domo-kun
plushie. Shanna rubbed my back and even
Chastity came to my other side and rubbed
my shoulder. I really appreciate all the true
friends I have so much. <3

Shanna gave me a Bruce Lee pin she bought
while down in Orlando. My dad is the one who
made me a Bruce Lee fan. It's so cute. I love
Bruce Lee. I put it on my hat. :3

I walked to 2nd block with my face still covered
in tears and Mrs. Quattlebaum noticed right
away. She asked me what was wrong.

The thing about me, unlike most people, I can't
keep ANYTHING in. I will tell you everything, I
want people to know what I'm going through. I
hate to bottle stuff in. I'm a talker.

So, I told her. She hugged me and said I needed
to go see my counsoler, I did not need to be in
class like this, so, she walked me to my coun-
soler, who walked out her door and saw me and
said, "Alicia, what's wrong, dear?"

My counselor is this old black woman with a
froggy voice, but she's real nice. Out of all the
counsolers, she's the most comfortable to be
around, lol.

And I told her what was wrong. She invited me
into her office and I cried a bit, she talked to
me, told me the obvious stuff. But what was so
funny was when I'd finally get my tears under
control she'd say "think of the happy times" and
that made me want to cry more! Remembering
the good times makes me sad, because in that
moment you know you won't have any more.

She asked if I wanted to go home, I said no. I
was NEVER one of those students who took
pathetic excuses to go home. It took me to be
dying sick just to get me to stay home at times.

Plus, my dad would want me to go on and do
my best and be strong. And to go on with my
classes would make me feel better.

She did have some good news. She handed
me my paper which tells you if you passed
the exams or not. I have always failed the
math part. Well, guess what?

I finally passed all my graduation exams. I
am done with them. Go figure. A bittersweet
victory for me, but at least I won't have to
trouble with them anymore.

Mom said she called her and said that she
was amazed I actually talked. XD

I went back to class and yep, those crack-
heads were good for me. :) And Mrs.
Quattlebaum found these gold paper crowns
(someone joked: "but they're not Burger King
crowns!" see, kids at my school buy them
and paint them red and black XD) and we all
got one and wore them, lol.

All day you could spot my 2nd block class
mates. We wore the shiney crowns. :3~
People kept asking if it was my b'day. XDD

Food Dynamics, CD and Quintin tried to make
egg rolls, but had to use tortia rolls as a sub
and they didn't come out grand. Some of us
still ate 'em. I told them they did good, anyway.

We went all around the mall and Wal-Mart to
look for funeral cloths. The cloths were so
damn ugly. I just bought a nice coat and had
decided to wear a skirt and top I own.

Mom even bought me two cookies and two
brownies in the mall. :3 And we went to Old
Mexico for dinner and laughed about stories
of my family, mewmaw and dad, lol.

Yeah, I have to leave for Tennessee tomorrow
and I'll come back Saturday. Aw, damn, am I
going to miss Annie's Halloween party, again?
Kyle agreed to drive me this year. Oh, well...
I hope we can rearrange it, because Shanna
and Cody can't make it Saturday, either.

Oh, speaking of, after lunch, Kyle found me in
the hall and gave me a handful of chewy little
candies. XD Again, love my true friends, haha!

shiiiiiiiiit. Stupid computer. D: I left and it shut
down with half my post unsaved! Dammit! It
keeps going blue screen EVERY time I leave!

Yesterday was Sasaya's 18th birthday! Happy
Birthday, Sasaya/Julie~!!! 8D

Okay, whatever I posted before will have to
wait, because I have to hurry, now. o.o

See you all Saturday. <3
(I will be on AIM. Mom's gonna take her laptop this time, lol)
