eh...mom's being crabby...but i really don't care at the moment, just as long as she isn't yelling...i wish dad was home and not in australia.
spanish class was hilarious today. we played this one game and it was fun. although, corey was freaking me out in american history...he was sitting behind me and kept making these weird noises. we were supposed to work in groups designated by the teacher, and discuss the chapter and write our notes. but for some reason jessica and i seemed to be the only people actually doing any discussing. it was a day we were SUPPOSED to talk, and it was nearly deathly quite in there.
remember that forensics tournament in ellsworth i went to? well, i got third place! YAY! ^.^ i was the only person in my school who placed.
i got my sports physical today...the doctor was asking me all these questions like, do you smoke? do your parents smoke? do your parents beat you? do you wear a seatbelt? and so on. (btw, all my answers were no) then i had to walk like a duck. o.O but it least i can participate in softball now.
OMFG! my mom was LISTENING in on my phone conversation!! WTF???!! at least my bro came over and told me. (thank you, monkey) then mom got mad at him for telling me, and her reason for doing it was "she never tells me what goes on in her personal life". WTF??? GRRR!!
Pony Club Quiz was awesome! My team (the "Boss Mares" ^.^) got 2nd in our group, and individually, I got 4th. If I had signed up for nationals, I would be able to go, but I doesn't really matter that I didn't b/c I wouldn't be able to make it out to Cali this year anyways. (Although I would love to go back to the state I was born in.)
The roads were REALLY bad Friday night, and not even halfway up to Duluth we had to stop and get a hotel room. What that meant was we had to get up at 5 in the morning if we expected to make it there on time. I ended up with 4 1/2 hrs of sleep, cuz I stayed up to watch Gad Guard (YAY!) but it was worth it. Sayuri's beginning to freak me out though...
Then on the way back, driving through Menomonie, we saw these dudes with wild hairdo's. Two of them had enormous spikes (porcupine head! he he) and this other dude looked EXACTLY LIKE A REAL LIFE VERSION ON TRISTAN. Wierd...
I was dead tired by the time I got to sleep in the beginning hours of Sunday. But I got to sleep in on Sunday so that was just fine.
:( Two of our little chicks have died so far. Poor little girls...I don't know why they're dying though, which worries me. They don't seem to be sick, at least.
I won’t be posting tonight, and probably not tomorrow either. It’s study hall right now (the class I’m NOT supposed to post in, but no one’s gonna know ^.^) Got Pony Club Quiz tomorrow, wish me luck cuz I haven’t studied much. I’m a Procrastinator with a capital P.
Since I skipped school yesterday, I didn’t have my name in the drawing thing for English speeches. And the teacher forgot about it today, so…I don’t have to give mine until Monday! Which means…(get ready)…………more time to NOT study!
As you can tell, I’m a little hyper today. Just a litttttttttttle. It’s all ladysesshoumaru’s fault. She’s the one that said Seto in roman armor was purdy. XD!
I’m gonna work on studying for the quiz/surfing the net. (I’m am the ultimate multitasker!)
Seto: maybe you should run a few more laps around the gym to work off all that extra energy.
Me: NO WAY! I almost died in gym…dang running test…
last night was...draining. i was SOOOOO tired when we finally got back to school around ten. but the good news is, i'm going onto state for forensics! YAY! so is my friend, rae ann. unfortunately RIN21 didn't make it. *hugs her*
i still gotta talk about last weekend. let's see...oh yeah, gad guard was on!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!! i was literally jumping up and down screaming when i found out it was on. (me no have satellite, me no get to watch gad guard T.T) even awesomer, there was a WHOLE episode devoted to katana! YAYNESS!!!!!!
krista and i had an encounter with a bat, too. we were watching tv (gad guard wasn't on yet) when suddenly this thing swooped over our heads. it flew back and krista screamed IT'S A BAT! i was torn between screaming when the bat got close, and laughing cuz krista completely FREAKED out. her parents weren't home, so eventually we (well, really I) managed to catch the bat and let it loose.
ack, i still have to write my persuasive speech for english. mine's about lowering the voting age and how i don't think that should happen. i'm curious, what are ya'll's opinions?
NOOOOO!!!! my parents are planning on moving the computer upstairs SOON (as in, this week) and that means...I WON'T BE ABLE TO DO A LOT OF THINGS AS MUCH ANYMORE!! NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! *screams* as in: messenger, posting, gaia...and all sorts of other stuff i normally do.. :( i need my own computer.
moving on to other things...on friday, we had this school assembly thing. well, it turned out to be all about making the right choices yada, yada ya...but it was actually quite funny. my favorite part was about why some people believe you can't get prenant if ur drunk: b/c the spermies are all so drunk that they can't find the egg! XD! but...the scary part is that some ppl actually believe that.
uh...i've got a lot more to say, but i guess i'll have to post it later. see ya ppls!
ack. filling out the form for the ACT can be best described as annoying...would i like, dislike, or am indifferent about mowing a lawn? seriously, that's a question on the entry form. and then a million others about a million other things...hmmm...i gotta finish that though, cuz i need to send it out tomorrow. yes, i'm only a sophomore and i'm taking the ACT. what i find weird is this: on the section where you can list what grade you're in, it goes all the way down to 6th grade...but where it asks what year you plan to enter college, it only goes to 2006. kinda weird, at least the second one is a required question. well, whatever.
i missed the bus today. i was gonna call home and ask if i could stay after school and go down to the library, but this one chick spent about 10 minutes blabbing on the phone before FINALLY getting off. then i called home and no one answered. i think my parents went shopping. so then i ran out to try and catch the bus really quick and they had left already. but i turned out just fine cuz i walked down to the library and my friend was there and she gave me a ride home. thank you krista! ^.^ plus, i got to pick up my book. fruits basket vol. 2 came in!!! HOORAY!
you know that picture i mentioned in the last post? i made it into my avatar. ^.^ i did remember all the other stuff i had to say, but i'm too tired to post it all now...maybe tomorrow. all i'll say is this: i'm pretty sure i convinced my english teacher that i'm crazy.
heh...haven't updated in a little while...got a lot to say, but at the moment it all has deserted me. >.< my brain's been dead practically all day, i think i need some more...uh...whatcha call it...oh YEAH! sleep! i remember that!
i would've fallen asleep during the biology movie if i hadn't been working on a picture OF someone sleeping in class. i'll post it later, my stupid scanner isn't working again. i swear, my computer must be taking stupid pills.
yesterday i got out of school early to go get my picture taken for my passport. then we ate dinner and stopped at best buy. (yay!) lot's of electronical goodies to look at and games to play. then we ended up getting back really late and still had to clean stalls and feed horses, and after that i was up as late as my parents would allow on the computer...all that BEFORE doing my homework. (hmmm...maybe that's why i'm so tired. nah...couldn't be)
well....gotta go take care of horses, so bai bai!
oh, yeah, random japanese phrase of the day: biiru kudasai!
