So…I wrote my last post yesterday at about 6:20PM…I didn’t get home until after 8!! I got kicked out of the library at about 6:50 when they closed and sat outside waiting…and waiting…mom said she was gonna get a ride with one of our neighbors to come and pick me up…still waiting…finally, sometime around 8, I decided I wasn’t waiting any longer and walked over to
undeadloner’s house. I called home and the conversation went something like this:
Bro: *answers phone* Hello?
Me: Hi. Where’s mom?
Bro: With the truck.
Me: Is anyone coming to pick me up?
Bro: Yeah, Ms. Webb is going too.
Me: When did she leave?
Bro: Well…she hasn’t left yet. I’m waiting for her to call back so I can ask her to pick you up.
Me: Wait a minute. You mean, no one’s on their way to pick me up, there hasn’t been anyone for the past hour…and no one may come for another HOUR??!?!?
Bro: Uhh…yeah.
Me: So you’re saying mom left a message at her house.
Bro: Yep.
Me: Oh great. I don’t want to go back outside and wait…now what am I supposed to do??!?!
Bro: I don’t know.
Me: Wait. How about when Ms. Webb calls, you can call me back here and I’ll go down by the library. Okay?
Bro: Okay.
Well, I FINALLY got something to eat (undeadloner made me a corn dog…I hadn’t eaten since lunch) and then all the sudden mom pops up at the door. Turns out they coasted our truck down the hill (it was going about 70) and all the way to the car place after they found out it was too heavy for the tow truck. Then our other neighbors gave us all a ride home. (they stopped at the school looking for me, and mom called home and my bro told her where I was) Now, I’m all the sicker for sitting out in the chilly evening in flip-flops and Capri pants. Fun….-.- oh, well. I can’t go to the softball game tonight b/c I don’t have a ride home (It’s not like I’m playing anyways >.>) Though, I feel kinda sad for my bro since he won’t be able to go to his first track meet.
Hmm…I was gonna post the lines we have written for our Spanish movie so far, but I think I’ll do that tomorrow.
Later!
