This'll be my last post before camp. I was kinda hoping against hope that I'd get up a new theme before leaving, but that ain't gonna happen now. Especially since we lost power yesterday.
About yesterday, we lost power at around 12 o'clock when a storm moved through, and didn't get it back until 2AM! Which made me suddenly realize how many things I do that require electricity. Plus, since I was trying to pack for camp, half the stuff I wanted needed either to be washed, or ironed, both of which require electricity. Plus, I'd gotten pretty muddy earlier chasing chickens so we could take them for blood testing. (They all decided to hide under the coop, making it nearly impossible to catch them. -.-) And no power meant no power to pump water out the well, which meant no water pressure, which meant no shower. T.T At least there was enough water pressure to get some water to clean the mud off my legs. But yeah, I hope I never lose power for that long again. It was rather frusterating.
Well, I've gotta work on this chicken essay, (since I didn't make it to any workshops, and 4-H requires either that or a written essay to show chickens at the fair) and look up a bunch of info before I go to camp. So, later!
