A little after eight that night Diego and Lloyd have gone through Tempest and made it to the other side. As they depart the ferry Diego gets a call. "No, I still haven't found him yet. I got a little sidetracked last night. Just relax and let me use my tracking skills." Diego says and hangs up. "Who was that?" Lloyd asks. "Not that its any of your business but, that was my sister. She too is looking for Shino. Not sure why but, she is." Diego replies. Back in Gami, everyone is sound asleep all over the truck. Ash is laying on his back with Pikachu curled up near the top of his head. Jesse crawls over quietly and carefully lays her head down on his chest and falls back to sleep. The next morning Ash wakes up and looks down at Jesse. He yells and scoots away quickly with a red face. Jesse hits her head on the floor and sits up. "Geez. What are you yelling for?" Jesse says rubbing her head. "Sorry, you just startled me. That's all." Ash replies. "Let me guess. You have never had a woman use you as a pillow while you slept." Jesse says a little irritated. Shino walks in rubbing the sleep out of his eyes. "Why are you yelling Ash?" He says and yawns. He looks at both of them and shakes his head then goes back to the bunk. Later that morning, Shino is checking the semi over and making sure all the gear is packed when Karen jumps out in a sundress with a couple towels in her hand. "Come on." She says grabbing his hand and dragging him away. Moments later Jesse comes out in a sundress as well and towels in her hand. She runs off in the same direction as Karen and a couple minutes later Ash comes sprinting out. "Where is she?" He says. "Where is who?" Gary asks. "Jesse. She left a note that she took Pikachu and if I wanted him back I had to find her." Ash says in a very pissed tone. "She headed down that path." Scizor says pointing in the same direction Karen went down. Lloyd and Diego reach Current that morning. "So where is he?" Lloyd asks. "I don't know. We just got here dumbass." Diego says parking his truck at the gym. They get out and Diego says "Well, I took you far enough so you are on your own. See ya." Diego walks off leaving Lloyd standing there. Lloyd looks around and spots the police station. He goes inside and looks for Officer Jenny. "Excuse me. I am Agent Lloyd of the ISF and I was wondering if I could use one of your offices for awhile." He says flashing his badge and a smile. Jenny backs away and says "Pick an office and do what you need to." Lloyd picks one and closes the door. "Sir, Agent Lloyd checking in. Sorry sir I have had no luck yet. Of course I am still alive. Why is that surprising? Any way I am in Current and from what I have been told Shino is on his way here. It will hopefully be only a matter of time and I will apprehend him." Lloyd says into the phone. He finds Officer Jenny and thanks her then leaves. "What a dumbass." She says. Karen and Shino are sitting on a beach having lunch when Ash comes running onto the beach. He looks around and spots Jesse on the far side of the small lake by herself. He runs over and she stands there with Pikachu next to her tied to a post. "Well you found me and as promised I will give him back." She says smiling sheepishly. "What's the catch?" Ash says cautiously. "You have lunch with me." She says moving to the side to show him the picnic lunch behind her. "Ooookaay." Ash says moving toward it slowly. "Relax. There are no traps. Just lunch and a nice swim." She says. They sit down and start eating. Pikachu looks back at them and shakes. The ropes fall and he heads back to the semi. They enjoy the meal and an hour or so after they eat Jesse stands up. Ash looks up at her and she slips the straps of the sundress off her shoulders, letting it bunch up around her feet. She is standing there in a skimpy bikini. Ash's eyes widen, his face goes completely red, blood pours from his nose, and he faints. "Thought as much." She says annoyed. She wipes the blood from his nose and rests his head on her lap. Karen and Shino are watching them through binoculars. "You gave her THAT bikini? No wonder he had that reaction. It doesn't cover much." Shino says. "You think that one is bad?" She says standing and removing her sundress. Shino looks back and his eyes are bigger then dinner plates. "That suit would of killed him." Shino says dropping the binoculars and playfully tackling Karen. Ash wakes up a few minutes later and is looking straight up at the bottom of Jesse's ample chest. Jesse looks down at him and says "You have never seen a woman dressed like this before have you?" "No." Ash says trying to move away but Jesse holds him in place. "Just lay still. There is no need to run off. Enjoy it." Jesse says softly. Ash lays there not sure of what to do. "I see your body is reacting to this." Jesse says after a few minutes. Ash looks down and turns bright red. He sits up and covers himself. Jesse gets up and grabs his arm. She drags him into the lake and says "Its okay. That's nothing to be embarrassed about. In the lake you don't have to worry about a thing. Actually I am quite flattered by it." Jesse swims around while Ash just stands there. She gets pissed and swims over to him. "Let's swim." She says and rips his shirt off. Then pulls down his pants leaving him in his boxers. "If you don't do something I will steal Pikachu and not give him back." Jesse says and swims away. Ash swallows hard had swims after her. "Looks like he is starting to actually loosen up." Karen says looking through the binoculars. "About time. That boy is like a board when he is around a woman." Shino replies. "Maybe you should teach him to loosen up around women." Karen says laying back down next to Shino. Gary and Scizor are still at the semi. "Tell me. Why do you stick with Shino? You heard the tape." Gary asks leaning back in the beach chair. "I stick with him because he lets me be me. When I first was banished from my home I joined up with one trainer and he tried to change me. After the first battle with him, he put me in a pokeball and left me there. I guess he dropped it or something because I was out and a few days later Shino found me in National Park. He is the kind of trainer all pokemon want. He doesn't let me do anything he wouldn't do himself." Scizor replies from the tree branch above Gary. Gary nods in reply. Shino and Karen return around sunset and Ash and Jesse return a couple hours later.

Over the next three days nothing of any real importance happens. Shino is resting and healing. Ash is training his pokemon along with Gary who isn't training as hard. Jesse and Karen are taking in the full spa treatment. Lloyd has arrived in Purgatory and is meeting his mercenaries. "Gentlemen, this will no doubt be your toughest mission. Our goal is to apprehend The Shinogami. It has been proven to be rather difficult thus far. With you by my side I believe we can accomplish this." Lloyd says. The leader steps forward and says "My name is Grant and I am the leader of this group. Why should we go after Shino? I see no benefit in it." "Grant, for your services you will be paid handsomely." Lloyd replies. "Where's the cash?" Grant says. Lloyd hands him a large duffel bag. Grant opens it and inside is loaded with money. "Alright. Get your gear and follow me." Grant says handing the bag to another mercenary. "Where is the rest of the mercenaries?" Lloyd asks looking around at the seven mercenaries present. "This is all of them. We run a small but very efficient team. There was another team we used to team up with with a hundred members but they haven't been seen for awhile after taking a job for a man named Larry (Lloyd shutters remembering the movie). Rumor has it that they went after Shino and didn't survive." Grant says as the two humvees pull out of the airport parking lot. Diego is sitting at a restaurant in Devil's Mind having a nice dinner alone when his phone goes off. He answers it and listens carefully to the person then hangs up. "Great. More trouble." He says. Akurei walks in followed by Aurora. They spot Diego and pull up a chair. "What's with you?" Akurei says. "I was just informed that a new ISF agent has arrived and has hired The Seven." Diego says. "That's all? Don't worry about a thing. The Seven are excellent mercenaries but Grant is very intelligent. My advice is to let this just play itself out." Akurei says. "Where is my love?" Aurora asks. "Not sure. He ditched my guys in Tempest. I bet he is on his way to Current by now." Diego replies. They have a nice dinner and just talk. Maurice and Guadalupe are still getting the wedding preparations together. "Where should we go for our honeymoon?" Guadalupe asks. Maurice shrugs his shoulders and stares at the plates in front of him. "Someone shoot me." He says to himself. "Bang." She says making a gun with her hand. Maurice hangs his head and remembers she is psychic. "The bar-b-que is a little over a week away and we are looking at plates and silverware. Can't we do this after we are married?" Maurice says. "No. Now quit bitching and tell me which one you like best with these forks." Guadalupe says. Maurice sighs and gives in. Two more days pass and Shino is up and moving around without a limp. Celebi checks him over. "I honestly can't believe you are healed up as much as you have in this short amount of time. All of your bones are almost completely healed. The few remaining ones should be healed by tomorrow night." Celebi says in amazement. Shino stands and stretches. Several pops are heard as he does so. "You know for a tall guy you are surprisingly limber." Ash says watching Shino do a back handspring. "Yeah. My fighting style requires that." Shino says doing a side flip to a front flip to a back flip into a back handspring. "I see you are felling better." Karen says. Shino just nods and says "Very much so. We will be leaving here in a couple days. So live it up." Shino walks off followed by a large group of local people. Lloyd is sitting in a humvee on the highway just leaving Devil's Mind. "I don't see what the hurry is. The ferry has been shut down." Grant says looking at Lloyd. "I have wasted enough time here. I would like to get back to my girlfriend. I will just have to force them to take us across in another boat." Lloyd says. Grant shakes his head and an hour later they pull into the ferry parking lot. Lloyd storms off and another mercenary leans over to Grant. "Why not take the bypass tunnel? We could be across this in a couple hours." The guy says. "Because I am not that interested in catching up to Shino that quickly. Besides this guy is an ass, who cares if we waste his time. We got two million dollars for this job. Why rush?" Grant replies. The other mercenary nods in agreement and Lloyd returns in a pissed mood. "Those bastards won't take us across because the new ferry is still being tested. We should head back to that town we just passed." Lloyd says. A female mercenary knocks on the window and Grant rolls it down. "Sir we just received word that all the hotels and motels are full. There are no rooms available." She says. "Guess we make camp here then. Inform the men." Grant says. The woman salutes and heads back to the other humvee. "What? Camp out? No I must refuse that idea." Lloyd says. "Tough shit. You are going to have to rough it till the ferry is ready since you refused to listen to me. Now get your shit and help set up camp." Grant says. The mercenaries have their tents set up in a matter of minutes and are almost completed setting up camp. Lloyd on the other hand is struggling terribly. The mercenaries sit around the campfire while they enjoy the show. Around sunset a white pickup truck pulls into the parking lot and Grant stands up. Lloyd finally got his tent up a few minutes before. Diego walks up and says "May I see you camping permit?" jokingly. "Well isn't this an honor. The old man winter himself." Grant says shaking his hand. "I saw the humvees and figured they belonged to you. What brings you out here?" Diego says sitting down next to the campfire. Lloyd jumps out of his tent causing it to collapse. "That is classified information. Only those whom I have deemed important enough may know that." Lloyd says trying to sound important. "Going after Shino. Figured as much. You ISF agents are all the same. Complete idiots. (turns towards Grant) Sorry to hear about your buddies." Diego says. "How did you know we are after Shino?" Lloyd asks. "They were morons for going after Shino." Grant says. Diego looks back at Lloyd and says "I know everything of importance on this island. There is nothing you do on here that I don't know about. For example you have been staring at Eva here (puts his arm around her and pulls her closer) and having perverted thoughts about her. Such a pig. I will give you the same advice I gave your predecessor, go home. You will fail at your mission." Diego says. "That is a complete lie! I was not fantasizing about Eva." Lloyd shoots back. Diego takes off her button up military shirt so she is in her tank top. Lloyd's face turns red and Diego has her sit in his lap. "If that's true why are you blushing so bad. Should I take off her pants as well?" Diego says running his hand up her leg to the belt. Eva's face flushes at all the attention. "That's enough Diego. Lloyd here is some super agent and will apprehend The infamous Shinogami." Grant says. Eva pushes Diego backwards off the log and starts kissing him. "Stop that!" Lloyd shouts but nobody listens. Diego gets up and carries Eva off into the woods. "Are you going to let him do that?" Lloyd asks. "Yup. She is a grown woman and can make her own choices. Besides we aren't going anywhere tonight. I say let them have their fun." Grant replies. The next day around noon Diego and Eva return looking refreshed and very dirty. Eva's hair was a mess and had twigs and leaves sticking out all over. "Thanks for a wonderful night. Now remember the survival skills I taught you." Diego says and kisses her cheek. Eva crawls back into her tent and falls asleep. "Thanks for bringing her back this time. I would of been upset to have the only female mercenary run off with you again." Grant says drinking his coffee. "Not a problem. I guess I should be off. I have to be in Tempest by six or I will miss the other ferry on the other side." Diego says and heads back to his truck. "Wait!" Lloyd shouts running after him. "Can you take me with?" he asks. Diego thinks for a minute and nods. They climb in and Diego drives onto the beach. "How are you going to get across without the ferry?" Lloyd asks. "Like this." Diego says as the water begins to freeze. Lloyd screams as the truck drives onto the ice.

Early the next morning at ISF headquarters Agent Tendo is standing before his boss. "Sir, I am sorry for taking on such a large case and not being able to finish it. I will accept any punishment you see fit." Tendo says bowing. "Are you kidding? In the short time you were in charge of this case you gathered more information about Shino then we have since the investigation started when he was arrested for murdering those four high schoolers. As a token of my appreciation for doing such a damn fine job I want you to name any city and that's where you will be the new Chief of Operations." The boss says. "Really? Its so sudden. Could I have the day to think it over and give you my answer tomorrow morning?" Tendo replies. "Of course. Got to run it by the wife first. I understand completely. Don't worry about naming a replacement. I know the perfect person. There have been rumors circling around that he is a traitor and rat. Besides Lloyd is a real kiss ass. This assignment would be irresistible to him. (he presses the call button for his secretary) Please call Lloyd and tell him to get up here right away." The boss says. A few minutes later the secretary leads a real scrawny looking man in. He has the total ass kisser look. Moving on. "Looking good today Sir. Have you lost weight?" Lloyd says right away. "Shut it. The reason I called you here today is because you seem to be more competent the Tendo here. He is going to fill you in on the Shinogami case. I am sure you have heard of it. As of this moment you are the lead Agent on it. Tendo here is the case file. Go over this with him. All the info we have on the guy is there so memorize it. That is all." The boss says and Tendo takes the rather thin file. "Wait Tendo I would like another word with you. Lloyd wait outside please. (Lloyd leaves and closes the door) I know this isn't all the info. It is a few basics. I want him to start with the same info you had and see what he can dig up. So stick to this." The boss whispers. "Sir, he could get killed if he does something stupid." Tendo whispers back. "Relax. That is a risk all Agents take everyday they are in the field. Besides he is going in alone. I am giving you all of your men and frankly we can't spare any more. You'll understand why I am doing this in a few minutes." The boss whispers. "You saw the tape. He may end up like that." Tendo whispers. "You go brief him and you'll understand." The boss says. Tendo and Lloyd walk to a conference room and go inside. "So you failed. That's no surprise. You weren't qualified for the job to begin with. I guess the boss chose you to make you feel special. An amateur such as you could never bring down a criminal mastermind like Shino." Lloyd says arrogantly. "Here is the info you need. The height and weight aren't important. What is important is this. (Holds up a picture of Scizor) This is Scizor his most trusted pokemon. If you see him then Shino is around. He won't rat on Shino so don't bother. Another important thing is his (points to a picture) semi. Its a rolling fortress. Also a good sign he is around. You will be in his territory. Most of the people there love this man out of fear. They won't be much help. He has a very violent streak in him and he doesn't stop even if you stop breathing. (shows pictures of Larry and Jerry) These two were unfortunate victims who crossed him. Be polite and respectful to him and he will be the same. (pulls a dvd out of the papers) Watch this tonight. You will understand what I mean. The entire time I was there he didn't act like a typical criminal. When you get there have an Officer Jenny call him down to the station for you. He will come down to the station. And that's everything I have. Good luck you'll need it." Tendo explains. "That's all we have on this guy? We have been after him for years. Where is his criminal record?" Lloyd says. "Go to Dark Islands for that. It is to big to bring back." Tendo replies. "I'll have this guy brought in by the end of next month." Lloyd says standing up. "If you survive that long." Tendo mutters under his breath and goes back to the boss's office. "Yeah. I feel bad for Shino to have to deal with this guy." Tendo says. The boss laughs. Later that afternoon Lloyd walks into the boss' office. "Alright Sir. I am packed and ready for my men." Lloyd says. "Sorry. We have no men we can spare." The boss says. "What about the agents that incompetent Tendo was in command of?" Lloyd says. "They are being sent to senior agents who need them. If you want men then hire some mercenaries. You can write them off as a business expense later but, for now you are going to have to pay for them out of your pockets." The boss says. Tendo is outside on the phone. "Shino you are going to have fun with my replacement. He is a total arrogant asshole. He will be there in a few days. Enjoy." Tendo says and hangs his phone up. Back in Gami, Ash has gone back to training his pokemon. "I must say Ash you have gotten used to killing your opponents. I am impressed." Shino says as Pikachu slays another Venusaur. Ash doesn't respond and sets up another match. "You know you should be taking this time to enjoy a woman's company." Shino says with a slight laugh. "Shino. I must know how you heard what I said to myself yesterday at the truckstop." Gary says. "Oh, that? I am psychic. I can read minds. Move objects. All that stuff with my mind. Nothing special." Shino replies nonchalantly. "If that's true then why don't you do it all the time and stop those bastards that are after you?" Gary asks. "Takes the fun out of life to know what someone will do before they do it." Shino simply replies as he pulls out his cell phone just before it goes off. He speaks for a couple minutes and then hangs up. "All of us are invited to a bar-b-que next weekend. Should be fun." Shino says before walking away followed by a large crowd. "You know the more I am around him the more mysterious he becomes." Gary says and walks off. Karen and Jesse are relaxing in the spa at a mud bath. "What is it about Shino that attracts you so much? His entire life has been one violent bloody mess and yet you stick with him." Jesse asks. "To be perfectly honest with you I am not entirely sure why. I guess part of the reason is that he isn't like the other guys. He doesn't try to be someone he's not. All the others try to show off or flash some cash. I don't care about that. Shino has never once tried to show off. When I met him he was flat broke so money is not the answer. I guess it all boils down to the fact that he doesn't try to impress me is why I stay with him. If that makes any sense." Karen explains. Jesse nods and Karen says "What about you and Ash? Are the seeds of romance starting to take root?" Jesse giggles and says "The seeds of romance? Not sure. They might or might not be. For right now I am just going to enjoy myself and do stuff I couldn't do when I was with Team Rocket." Jesse replies. "Sounds good to me." Karen replies.

Agent Tendo has landed in Blackthorn City and has caught a cab to his home during the time Shino was telling his story. Tendo is walking around his home waiting for his family to arrive. A couple hours later a long black limousine pulls in front of the house. Tendo walks out and his two daughters give him a big hug. His wife stands there for a moment with tears of joy streaming down her face. She hugs him tightly. Tendo finally lets her go and has them go inside. "Nice to see you." Akurei says leaning against the limo. "I'll admit I had planned on shooting you when I saw you. But that wouldn't be smart. Instead I would like to thank you. Because of you I have seen what is truly more important then my career. So as of tomorrow morning I will be off the Shino case. Another ambitious agent will take my place I'm sure but that's fine. Shino can deal with him as he sees fit." Tendo says extending his hand out. Akurei smiles and shakes it. "I'm guessing I wasn't the one who changed your mind. What did Shino do?" Akurei says. "He sent me a very effective message. You won't have to worry about Larry or Jerry anymore." Tendo replies. Akurei laughs and opens the limo door. "If you ever need something let me know. We'll be seeing each other soon." Akurei says and climbs in. The limo pulls off and Tendo goes inside his house to be with his family. An undisclosed location in an undisclosed building in a stereotypical bad guy office sits a man in the shadows with only his arms from the elbow down in light. "Damn. Tendo has been a wasted investment." He says. A man standing across from him (also in the shadows) says "Yes but not to worry. Other pawns have been put in place incase something like this happened. I only need a few days to put them in place." The man sitting puts his hands together and says "Take as much time as you need. I don't want to underestimate Shino. He can be very unpredictable at times. Just keep your objective in mind." He picks up a surveillance picture of Karen taken the night of the bonfire before they went to Tempest. On the highway Shino and crew are zipping down the highway when he spots a truckstop ahead so he slows down and pulls in. After parking he heads inside. "Alright this is a robbery. Do as I say and nobody gets hurt!" He shouts and everybody freezes for a second. A Houndoom comes sprinting around the corner snarling. A waitress from the diner comes out and sees him petting the Houndoom. "Must you always do that?" She says. "Just checking on Houndoom here. Her reaction time is a little slow." He says. "Yeah. She was feeding her puppies when you barged in." She replies. "So she had them. Good. I'll call Akurei and let him know. I really do appreciate you taking her for me." Shino says. "No problem. I know how you can repay me." She says winking at him. "Ahem." Karen says grabbing Shino's hand and interlocking her fingers with his. "Sorry he is taken." Karen says. "So. I just need him for an hour or so. You can have him after that." The waitress says with a smile. Gary stands back with his mouth open. "How does he do it? Women are throwing themselves at him and he doesn't do anything to get their attention." Gary says to himself. Shino looks back over his shoulder at Gary and smiles. "I will teach you later." Shino's voice says inside Gary's head. Gary jumps at the sudden realization that Shino heard him inside his own head. Everyone heads into the diner for some proper food. Shino sits down across from Karen at a table while Jesse sits across from Ash at the same table. James and Gary take a seat a table next to them. During the meal Shino's phone goes off. "Hello Agent Tendo. Haven't seen your men in a while." Shino says. "I know. I have removed myself from your case and will be taking a different one, so I can spend more time with my family. I would like to thank you for your subtle message you sent me. I will let you know who replaces me." Tendo says and hangs up. Shino sighs in relief and says "That's one problem gone. I'll have to deal with the others once I am fully healed. Now lets eat." Everybody digs in. Once they are done eating Ash says "So what is the next town we are going to?" "Well the next badge is in Current but, we will be stopping in a small town not to far from it so Shino can heal up some more." Karen says. "What's that town called?" Jesse asks. "It's called Gami. Named after Shino. It's like an all inclusive spa and resort." Karen replies. "How did you manage to get a town named after a criminal like you?" James asks. "Easy. You will just have to wait to find out. As for you James, I think this will be where we part ways. Jesse you on the other hand are more then welcome to tag along at least till I get to see your incredible body in a swimsuit." Shino says. Karen elbows him in the ribs and a crack was heard. "Excuse me? What did you say?" She says. "I think Ash (cough) would really (cough) enjoy it (cough) if you (cough) came along. And in case you forgot Karen I am injured." Shino says. Jesse is blushing from Shino's compliment as well as Ash from Jesse be allowed to come with. "Jesse and I are inseparable. Where she goes, I go and vice versa." James says standing up. "I would love to come with you guys. Thanks. Sorry James but Team Rocket isn't what it used to be. I quit." Jesse says moving her chair more towards Ash. James stands there completely defeated and shocked. "Take care of the bill will ya? Thanks and see ya." Shino says patting him on the back. "Here you are sir." The waitress says handing him the bill. "I don't have one hundred and fifty bucks!" James says. "Really? Follow me." The waitress says. While Shino and everyone else head for the giftshop James is headed for the kitchen. Once they are done they all head back to the semi where Scizor is using Pikachu as a rag to wipe the tires. "What are you doing?" Ash asks running over. "Draining him of electricity so he can build more." Scizor says handing a very tired Pikachu back to Ash. They all climb into the bright and shiny truck. An hour or so later they pull of the main road and onto a narrow dirt road. They get closer and closer to a dense forest. Shino stops and blows the air horn. The road appears to dead end into the trees. Suddenly the trees get up and move out of the way. "Whoa. What the...?" Gary says. "Meet the largest group of Sudowoodos in the world." Shino says waving at them as he creeps by in the semi. "Why hasn't anybody tried to catch them?" Ash says with a pokeball in his hand. "Many people have tried. None have succeeded. They all died." Karen says calmly from the passenger seat. They drive over a little hill and come to a very secluded town. "Welcome to Gami. The hardest town to get to in all of Dark Islands." Shino says. The entire town has very wide streets which make it easy for Shino to maneuver the semi and every business has one semi parking spot. Shino parks in the middle of town and they all get out. The people of the town come running out of their homes towards Shino and Scizor. Few of them are wrapped in towels due to the fact they were in the bath or shower when Shino arrived. "Lord Shino. Welcome back." An elderly man says bowing. "Thank you. It has been far too long. Have you been receiving the supplies I have been sending?" Shino replies. "Why yes we have. Thank you. Mistress Karen you look as radiant as always." The elderly guy says bowing again. Karen bows back. "These folks are friends of mine so please be polite to them while we are here." Shino says. "Of course. I am guessing you will be here for awhile then?" The elderly guy says. "A few days. I need to rest up. Since its so late we will just stay in my truck for the night." Shino says. A sound of disappointment comes from the large crowd. They disperse once Shino and company have gone back in the semi. "Alright. I have seen some weird stuff since I have been on this island but that was the weirdest. I think you should tell us how that all came about." Gary says. "Well, remember when I told you I disappeared for three years. I came across this town by accident. While I was here a terrible fire started and had burned almost half the town to the ground. A woman's house had caught fire right next to the place I was staying. I was going to leave and not get involved but she screamed when her kids couldn't be found. Now look around here tomorrow and you'll see this isn't they don't have any fire protection. Anyway, I hobbled over and dove through a window. I finally found the four kids huddled upstairs in a closet. I tossed the three oldest ones out the third story window into their pond. Before I could toss the fourth the floor gave out and we crashed all the way to the basement. Scizor managed to put the fire out and the rest of the building collapsed onto me. Two days later they found the child, was hungry but unhurt for the most part. I wasn't so lucky. I had a piece of wood puncture my left side and stick out the right side. Scizor put me into a shed and six months later I was up and about. From then on they have praised me for saving those kids. I tried to explain it wasn't a big deal but they won't listen so I put up with this every time I come here. Its very refreshing actually. And before you ask yes they know all about my criminal activities." Shino explains. They all wandered to different parts of the truck and fell asleep.

Gary arrives at the Gym before sunrise and sees a sign on the door. "Gone to Devil's Mind for wedding arrangements." reads the sign. "Great. Now what?" Gary says walking over to the semi. Shino is limping around the semi inspecting it. "Mornin Gary." He says. "Morning." Gary replies. "Maurice wanted you to have this." Shino says tossing him something. Gary catches it and looks at it. "The badge? But why? I never fought him." Gary says. "After you left last night we got to talking and he and Guadalupe decided to go and get some wedding preparations done. So he gave me the badge to give to you so we can leave as well. Can you unhook the cables for me please?" Shino explains. Gary nods and crawls under the truck and unhooks the cables. Within an hour Shino is pulling out of town and headed to the ferry. Karen is still asleep in the bunk when they reach the ferry. A couple hours more Shino pulls over on the side of the road and gets out of the truck. Scizor steps out of the bushes and motions for them to follow him. The three of them walk for a few minutes and come across a campsite with a smoldering campfire. Shino walks upto the tent and opens the flaps quietly. Inside Ash and Jesse are cuddled up together under one blanket. Ash is pressed up against Jesse's back with one hand around her stomach just below her chest. Shino pulls out his phone and takes a few pictures. Scizor returns with a digital camera and hands it to Shino. Shino takes another picture and the flash causes them to stir in their sleep. Ash is the first one to open his eyes. Jesse wiggles back against Ash's chest. James hops over still in the sleeping bag. "What the hell is going on in here?" James says. Ash looks over towards flaps. "Hope we aren't interrupting anything?" Shino says with a smile. Reality sets in for Ash and he looks down at Jesse laying next to him. He freezes up as Jesse rolls over so she is facing him. "Mmm. Good morning." She says completely unaware of anyone else. Terror has come across Ash's face and Jesse looks towards the flaps of the tent. "Oh." She says. Ash is only wearing his jeans and Jesse is only wearing the shirt Ash gave her and her panties. "We will leave you two to get dressed." Shino says closing the flaps. A few minutes later they come out with red faces. Shino and Gary are laughing and James is fuming. "I believe there is a story here." Shino says with an eyebrow raised. Ash swallows hard and Jesse laughs. "Relax. I am just curious to know how two enemies end up in bed together." Shino says. "Well we were following him and tried to steal Pikachu when he stopped us. Then we followed him because we were heading the same way. During rainstorm the other night Ash let me stay in the tent to get out of the rain. Then yesterday James didn't feel good so we stayed here. Last night I found a hotspring and invited him for a soak to repay his kindness. When we came back James had stolen Ash's sleeping bag so I let him sleep next to me. That's all. Nothing else went on." Jesse explains. James is standing there struggling with the sleeping bag. Ash examines it and says "Somehow the zipper got melted." "How am I supposed to get out of..." James says before Scizor runs his claw down the front of the bag. James stands there motionless. After awhile Karen joins them and Shino makes a large meal for everyone. "I am curious to know how you met everyone." Jesse says. "Who?" Shino replies. "Karen, Maurice and his fiancée, Diego and his siblings. All of them." Jesse says. Shino leans back against the log and thinks for a few moments. "Well, I first met Karen when I was in solitary confinement for brutally killing a Corrections Officer (CO) and a pedophile. Her father was the only CO that cared for me. He brought me my meals and after awhile became the only one who took care of me. He brought Karen in one day hoping she could get me to speak, she eventually did. After a little over a year he managed to convince the warden and judges to release me to his care. In doing so he enrolled me into kindergarten where I met Maurice. He was the biggest badass in kindergarten. When I showed up he had to teach me that. We fought and I broke both of his legs and one of his arms. He broke most of my ribs and shattered my ankle. While we were in the hospital we formed a flimsy peace treaty. That's where I met Guadalupe. Her and Karen would come everyday to check on us. After a month we were healed up and back to normal. A few weeks went by and during arts and crafts we made macaroni pictures. Someone said they liked mine better and Maurice attacked me. We fought for a few minute before he put me through the wall followed by the teachers desk. I smacked it away and it hit Diego, who was in first grade and was headed to recess, Diego jumped into the fight and the three of us ended up in the hospital again. We became friends then. Over the next few grades nothing exciting happened. Paul, Slash, and Sparx. They were younger then us. Paul and Slash are one year behind me and Sparx is two years back. I first met Aurora in eighth grade and she was in ninth. She fell for me which pissed Karen off. That was a hell of a cat fight. My freshmen year I met Akurei he was a senior and also the toughest of all his siblings. Not one person in school bothered him. Hell, the teachers were scared of him. He learned of Aurora's interest in me and decided to test me. This was the first time he spoke to me. He told me if I could beat him then he would allow me to date Aurora if not then I was to return to Jhoto. Sparx faced me first. Then Paul and Slash. Next was Diego and finally Akurei. That whole thing lasted four hours. Three of those was against Akurei. When the dust settled I was barely standing and he was out cold. Aurora rushed up to and hugged me, cracking my back and causing me to pass out from the pain. When I awoke I was in the hospital with Akurei and his siblings. Ever since then we have been somewhat friends. We have a mutual respect for each other. The other's and I have become good friends over the years. A few weeks ago I met Ash and Gary. Ash tried to take down Scizor and failed. Lucky for him I was in a good mood that day and didn't crush his skull." Shino explains. Everyone is quiet for a few minutes till Ash says "How did you meet your Pokemon?" "I was still in Goldenrod with my parents. We were at that big park at the north end of town having a picnic. While I was playing with the other kids there I saw him sneaking up to our food. I ran over and confronted him. We fought and fought. Neither of us was landing any punches. We called it a draw and my mom offered him something to eat. We've been together ever since. As for the other two I found the first one, I was a baby and was crawling around that place where all those strange Unknowns fly are. As I was told I found a small hole and started to play in it. I came across the ball and my parents didn't think it was anything dangerous so they let me keep it. As for the third one that one is the reason I vanished for three years. He messed me up very badly and almost killed me. Luckily he didn't and he let me keep him." Shino says with a smile. "Will you ever show me the other two pokemon?" Ash asks. "Maybe someday." Shino says. Karen gets up and stretches. "I'm going to go take a shower." She says and grabs Jesse's hand. The two of them walk back to the semi which is still parked on the side of the road. "Shino. Can I have a word with you for a moment?" Ash asks shyly. Shino follows him away from the others. "What is it?" Shino asks. Ash is quiet for a moment, arranging his thoughts. He finally says "This is probably going to sound stupid but, the last couple days I haven't been able to stop looking at Jesse's body. Like her large chest or great butt, and another spot. Is there something wrong with me?" Shino holds back his laughter and doesn't say anything for a moment. "She is very good looking I will give you that. No, there is nothing wrong with it. (stifles a laugh) You have hit was is called puberty. Happens to all guys. You just happen to be a late bloomer. I guess due to the fact that you have only focused on Misty for the last couple years. Your eyes have opened to the other females in the world. That's all." Shino says and proceeds to give him "The Talk." * Writer's note * (Due to the boringness of that and the fact you are online right now and can search that after you finish commenting on this chapter. I will forego explaining it to you and will continue with the story.) After Shino is done explaining they return to the campsite and clean and pack everything up. They climb into the truck and are off.

That evening as the sunsets Shino limps out of the chamber and the cuts on him have almost completely healed. Karen is sitting in the hot tub with Maurice, Guadalupe, and Gary. "That was some nice work you did on Larry." Guadalupe says. "Officer Jenny is charging admission to see the movie. It was some of your more gruesome work." Maurice says handing Shino a beer after he gets adjusted in the hot tub. The five of them sit around and chat while they drink. Tendo is sitting in the airport waiting for his flight. Diego has finally been released and is at Nurse Joy's apartment having dinner. Ash is laying on his sleeping bag reading a pokemon magazine while Jesse is looking around the nearby forest. James is laying next to the fire just pondering. She returns all excited and dives into the tent without looking. She lands right on Ash. She crawls off of him and says "Sorry. I didn't see you there. I found a hotspring not too far from here. If your interested." She grabs the towel Ash gave her the night before as well as the clothes and crawls out of the tent. "You comin?" She asks. Ash's eyes widen and his mouth is dry as a desert. He simply nods and grabs his pack. Pikachu follows them as well. Gary gets out of the hot tub and heads for the Pokecenter to get some sleep. Tendo is now on the plane heading to Blackthorn City. On the way his phone goes off. "What are you doing? Now is the perfect time to strike. He is badly injured and weakened." The voice says. "You didn't see the body or the movie. He is a real live demon. No man should be able to move with such injuries. He moved around as if nothing was wrong. The ground cracked with each punch. I am taking myself off this case. My career isn't that important." Tendo replies and hangs up. He sits back in his seat with a smile on his face. Gary flops down on his bed and rolls onto his back. "Guess tomorrow I should go for the badge. I don't want Ash to get to far ahead of me." Gary says to himself before drifting off to sleep. Ash and Jesse arrive at the hotspring. It wasn't a very large one but, not that small. "You go first. I'll wait till your done." Ash says and sits down behind a tree so he can't see the hot spring. Jesse looks at him and a warm smile crosses her lips. "You have never been in a hotspring alone with a woman before, have you?" Jesse says. Ash's face turns red and he looks away. "Not like this. Misty and I have been in a hotspring before but we had swimming suits. And we weren't alone for very long." Ash replies. Jesse grabs the bag from him and rummages through it. She pulls out a very large beach towel. "You stay here and get undressed then wrap a towel around your waist. I'll go over there and get undressed then wrap this one around me. That way we aren't totally naked." She puts the bag down and walks behind a large rock. A few minutes later Ash is getting into the hotspring. One of Jesse's legs pops out from behind the rock and Ash stares. She puts on a very short but very seductive show for him using just her legs. He is so red when she finally emerges from behind the rock that he can't speak. "Going from your reaction you really liked my show. James never did. He would just put a washcloth over his eyes and relax." She says sliding into the water. "Did Misty ever do anything like that?" She asks settling across from him. They both lean back and look up at the stars. "No. She was constantly mad at me for one thing or another. It was usually for something small but, she still got mad. Won't James be mad that we didn't invite him?" Ash says. "Not exactly enough room in here. Unless I sat on your lap?" She says and brushes her leg up his. He freezes up. "I don't think that would be a good idea. It could lead to other things and James would be very jealous." She says in a sultry voice. Pikachu hops into a small little puddle of the hotspring and sighs. Ash gulps and tries to scoot back but can't. Jesse laughs at the sight of his discomfort and stops rubbing his leg. They sit there in silence and look up at the stars together. Back in Tempest Shino is laying in bed with Karen. "Its nice to have you back. But I am curious about something." Karen says with her head on Shino's injured chest. "The tape?" He says and she nods. Shino sighs before saying "I said all that and I didn't mean a single word. It was so Larry couldn't get the satisfaction from knowing how I alone I did feel knowing nobody was going to help. I realize I could of brought my pokemon with me but I didn't to see if I can survive with out them. Its like a reality check so I don't let all the power go to my head and I do stupid things. It really hurt me to say those things knowing you would hear them. I am truly sorry for hurting you and making you worry about me. That was not my goal. I never meant to hurt you like that. Please forgive me." He says with the tears in his voice. Karen's eyes fill with tears and she kisses him. "Of course I do. I can't stay mad at you. But if you pull a stunt like that again I will kill you myself." She says while kissing him. James walks up to tent and looks inside. "Where did they go?" He says looking around the campsite. "Do you miss her?" Jesse asks. "I think so. We had dinner a couple days ago and I managed to piss her off so bad that she hasn't talk to me since." Ash says. "Well tell me what you guys were talking about and I might be able to tell you where you went wrong." Jesse says. Ash looks down from the stars and at her. He begins to tell her the conversation and she listens intently. "Wow she is actually listening to me. Something Misty never did." Ash says to himself as he continues the story. When he finishes she says "Your problem is so obvious. You love to talk about pokemon and the league championship. What does she like?" Ash shuts his mouth and is quiet for several minutes. "When was your last conversation with her that didn't piss her off?" She says. "Awhile ago. And now that you mention it I didn't talk about the league championship. I told her everything was going fine. Huh." Ash says. Both of them are quiet for several moments when something moving nearby startles them. "So this is where you two have been. I have been looking all around for you. And you two are in a hotspring together." James says very upset. "Big deal. Now go away. There isn't enough room for three people." Jesse says waving him off. After James leaves Ash says "You know this is the first real conversation we have ever had. Its kinda weird. I keep waiting for you to try and steal Pikachu." Ash and Jesse laugh. "Yeah. This is nice but weird because of our past." Jesse says scooting around to sit next to him. They spend the next couple hours staring up at the incredible star filled sky before getting out and heading for bed.

"What is the soft warm thing pressing into my back?" Ash asks himself. His upper body isn't covered by the sleeping bag. Ash is laying on his side with his back to Jesse. He looks down and sees an arm draped over him and his eyes widen. He turns his head slowly to look behind him. Jesse is curled up right against him pressing her ample chest into Ash's back. She moans slightly in her sleep and Ash's face turns bright red. He faces forward as his body reacts to the situation. "What is going on? Why am I having such perverted thoughts about Jesse?" He asks himself. Maurice shows up at the trailer just before 10 a.m. "So Shino escaped death's cold grip again, huh?" He says entering the trailer. "How did you know?" Gary asks while he is doing his morning exercises. "There is a bombed out diner down the street with blood all over the ceiling and walls." He replies. Diego gets dressed and gets out of the cot without waking Nurse Joy. "Judging from your worried expression. Akurei still has your family at some wonderful place." Diego says leaning against the cell wall and sliding down. Tendo nods. "I think my family wants him more then me." Tendo finally says. Diego chuckles as he says "They might but, I don't think that's his goal. You see, he isn't the family type. Sure he's good with kids but, that's because he had to help raise all of our siblings. I think he is sending you a message. And if you can understand it before its to late then you and your family will be much better off." "And what message is that?" Tendo asks. "That you will have to figure out on your own. I would do it soon. Before Shino leaves." Diego says. Tendo is quiet for a long while before he says "How did such a level headed guy like you get mixed up with trash like Shino?" A smile crosses Diego's lips. "I was in first grade when Shino was released from prison. He entered kindergarten. One day a big fight broke out between him and Maurice over who's macaroni picture was better. They were going at pretty fierce when my class was going to recess. Shino came flying through the wall followed by the teacher's desk. Shino smacked the desk away and I got hit by it. Back then I was a pure hellraiser. I jumped in on the fight and when it was over he had broken my left arm in several places and was standing there ready for more. From that moment he earned my respect. He isn't the cold-blooded killing machine everyone thinks he is. He doesn't flaunt his strength. He defends those close to him which isn't that many people." Diego says smiling. Tendo lays back on his cot and closes his eyes. "I see. I think I understand what you mean. Thanks." He says and drifts off back to sleep. Officer Jenny walks in a few minutes later and wakes up Tendo. "That body was indeed Larry and Jerry died last night. The hospital just called." She says and leaves. Tendo shakes his head and goes back to sleep. Shino limps into the trailer and Maurice laughs. "So Shinogami can be injured. How exactly did you pull off this miraculous survival?" Maurice asks. "Good to see you too. You know my secret to surviving." Shino replies and limps into the chamber. Gary stands there confused. "What's his secret to surviving?" He asks. Maurice laughs and says "His secret? That would be that little black marble ball. No one knows what it is exactly. We just know there is a powerful entity inside it." Jesse's head is now right against the back of Ash's head. Her breath is hitting his ear and neck. Ash is laying the stiff as a board and unsure of how to react. Suddenly Jesse's leg wraps around Ash's hip and Ash faints. When he comes around Jesse has rolled over and Ash sighs in relief. He rolls onto his back and stretches. Jesse rolls over and her arm drapes across his chest. "Mmm. Good morning." She says and looks up. She pulls back and sits up. "Sorry. I have a tendency to cuddle up to things in my sleep. Hope I didn't make you uncomfortable." She says and stretches her arms up above her head. The shirt she has on is one of Ash's so its a little to small and very tight. The shirt rides up as she stretches exposing the bottom of her chest. "Not at all." Ash says in a high pitched voice and blood flows from his nose. Jesse looks down at him and sees that he passed out. She pulls the shirt down and holds it in place. Ash wakes up a few minutes later and Jesse is back in her usual clothes. "Thanks for letting me sleep here. I haven't slept that good in a long time. (Ash sits up)" Jesse says and hugs him tightly. "It would of been rude to let a woman to sleep outside in the rain." Ash replies as he hugs her back. "Ahem." James says startling both of them. James looks terrible. He didn't sleep last night at all. "This is going to sound weird coming from me due to our history but, why don't we just spend the day here. That way James can get some proper sleep." Ash says. "That's sounds good to me." James says and lays down on the sunny boulder. If anyone reading this is wondering about the GPS thing on Ash's pokedex, he has completely forgotten about it. Its late afternoon and Tendo finally gets up. His stomach is feeling much better but the other ISF agents have taken the day off. Tendo drives over to Shino's truck and knocks on the door. "Agent Tendo?" Scizor says climbing out of the trailer. "Scizor. Is Shino around?" Tendo asks. "He's asleep." Scizor replies. "Tell him that I am taking a hiatus for awhile so I can take care of a few things." Tendo says and heads back to his car. "Take care of yourself." Scizor says. Ash is sitting on a log across from Jesse. "What happened to Meowth?" He asks. "He was killed in a battle." She replies.

The entire front of the diner is destroyed as well as part of the buildings on either side. "What the hell was that?" Gary asks standing up. Larry's face goes ghostly white and he doesn't say a word. "You." Someone says from the street. Karen peeks around Scizor and sees Shino standing in the street. "Time to go." Scizor says picking up Karen and running back towards the semi. Gary follows closely behind. Shino walks towards the destroyed diner. Larry sits there shaking like a leaf. "You." He says and punches Larry in the face knocking him out of his wheelchair. Shino grabs the wheelchair and flings it into the street. "Now you wouldn't beat up someone in a wheelchair, would you?" Larry asks still shaking. Shino violently grabs him by the shoulder (a loud breaking sound echoes throughout the diner) and stands him up. Larry stands there completely shocked. "You should of made sure I was dead by disposing of my body. Now you get to die." Shino says and begins an extremely violent onslaught. When Shino is done a few hours later the walls and ceiling are covered are drenched in blood. It is even out into the street. Blood and bone fragments are dripping from the ceiling and landing all over everything. Shino is standing in the middle of the room. All of the tables are broken along with the chairs. Even the long counter is broken in a few places. Laying at Shino's feet is Larry's battered and broken lifeless corpse. Shino limps back to the semi and collapses at the trailer doors. Scizor opens the door and jumps out. After getting him inside and putting him in bed Shino opens his eyes. "Scizor. There is something I would like you to do. Mail a certain item to this address. Please." Shino says handing him a slip of paper. Scizor sprints off. Ash is sitting across from Jesse. His eyes keep peering into the darkness of her skirt. Jesse or James never noticed because they were to busy devouring their lunch. Pikachu is sitting down next to Ash also oblivious to his lustful gaze. Jesse inadvertently opens her legs a little wider and gives him a peek. Ash's nose starts to shoot blood and he falls backwards. "What the...?" Jesse and James say together. Ash sits up quickly and says "Uhh. Sorry burned my tongue." "On a peanut butter and jelly sandwich?" James says. "No. On my tea." Ash says trying not to look at Jesse. "But you are drinking bottled water?" Jesse says eyeing Ash suspiciously. Ash stares down at his meal and continues eating. After lunch is done Ash packs the remaining things he had out and puts out the fire. Then he and Pikachu start walking again. Scizor returns a few minutes later. "It delivered." Scizor says. "Alright you bastard! Tell me, how did you survive all this time?" Karen says through tear-filled eyes. The little black ball rolls onto his chest and the voice from inside it says "Allow me to explain. Shino here has a very special talent. He is able to shut down all or just individual body systems. In this case he shut down them all. Which gives the illusion that he his dead. Notice none of his wounds or broken bones have even begun to heal yet." "If he is this messed up how the hell was he able to walk?" Gary asks. "I helped him." The voice says from the little black ball. Karen shoves everyone out of the bunk and tends to Shino's wounds. Agent Tendo walks into his office to find a large box gift wrapped with a card. He grabs the card and reads it "Agent Tendo, I believe this was a key part of your investigation. Signed Shino." reads the card. Tendo pulls the lid off the box and backs up immediately. He hunches over and pukes. Once he regains himself he looks in the box. Larry's severely mangled corpse is inside. The body is so badly beaten that you can't tell what is what on him. His skull looks like a crushed pop can. "I need some help." Tendo says pulling out a small box. With another card. He opens the card and reads "I think he was your key witness against myself and Akurei. We both know Jerry is still in a coma and won't be waking up anytime soon. In the box attached to this card you will find a videotape. Grab some popcorn and snacks and enjoy the movie. Your friend, Shino." Five ISF agents walk in and plug their noses. "What the hell is that stench?" One of them asks as another one pukes. "Our key witness. Take him to the coroner and see if he can make a positive identification." Tendo says looking at the video tape. Officer Jenny walks into Tendo's office and sees the body. She is completely unfazed by the smell. "Why do you have that in here?" She asks. "It is a gift from our dear friend Shino. He also sent us this. (holds up the videotape) I need a room with a VCR and TV." Tendo replies. Ash and Team Rocket are walking together now, through the forest. "I think we are lost." Ash says. "Why do you say that?" James asks. "Because this is where we had lunch. There are your food wrappers." Ash says pointing to the ashes from the fire pit. "Guess we'll make camp here then." Ash says putting his pack down. Pikachu jumps onto a near by tree stump and goes back to sleep. In an auditorium at the police station all the ISF agents and police are gathered. The lights dim and the large screen descends from the ceiling. The movie starts from when the explosion. With in only a few minutes quite a few agents and police are headed for the exit. Officer Jenny is sitting next to the projector eating popcorn completely unaffected by the gruesome sight on the screen. When it ends she is the only one left. She looks around as she rewinds the tape. Then watches it again. Tendo is coming out of the bathroom looking very pale. He heads for the jail cells so he can lay down. He lays down in a cell next to Diego's. "What the hell is wrong with you?" Diego asks. "I just saw the most horrific movie. Shino beat the life from Larry in such a way that horror directors would be jealous." Tendo says with his eyes closed. Officer Jenny walks in followed by Nurse Joy. A few of the other prisoners start whistling. "There he is." Jenny says pointing to Tendo. Nurse Joy checks Tendo's vitals and says "He will be fine. He just needs some rest. What happened?" Joy says. "We watched a movie. I was the only one who could stomach it." Jenny says. "Shino's movie? I would like to see it." Diego says getting off his cot. Jenny lets him out and the three of them go watch the movie. Just after sunset rain clouds move into the area. Ash is sitting his tent while Jesse and James sit across from him on a log. From Ash's angle he can see right up Jesse's skirt. He lays in his sleeping bag and pretends to sleep while he enjoys the view. Pikachu is sleeping snuggled up against Ash's backpack. The rain starts to fall softly and gradually gets heavier. James walks off to find some cover. Jesse starts to shiver and Ash gets up. He swallows hard and says "If you sit out there you'll get sick. I guess you can sleep in the tent." He opens his back and gives her a couple towels and a change of clothes. While she dries her hair Ash pulls out a couple blankets. Then covers his head with his sleeping bag so she can change in private. She gets under the blankets and says "I can't believe you would actually do this after all the times we have tried to steal Pikachu. Thanks." James comes back and looks for her. "What the hell?" He says looking in the tent. "Sorry James there is no room for you in here. You can use my rainsuit if you'd like." She says handing him a rainsuit. He puts it on and leans against a tree. The next morning Shino is still sleeping deeply and Karen is sleeping next to him with a big smile on her face. Gary is sleeping in the trailer while Scizor is sleeping on the roof of the trailer. Tendo is woken up by his new phone. He answers it. "Hey daddy. We are having so much fun that Mr. Akurei is letting us stay as long as we like." A young girl's voice says. "Is that so Katie? Where is mommy at?" Tendo asks. "Oh. Mr. Akurei and mommy are getting us some nummy food. They should be back soon. Well daddy I'll have mommy call you after lunch." Katie says and hangs up. Tendo's phone slips from his hand and hits the hard cement ground. He sits there silently for awhile. Diego looks over at him and doesn't say anything. Nurse Joy stirs next to Diego and stays asleep.

Diego is sitting at a bar having a drink when several ISF agents burst in. They make their way over to Diego and slam him to the ground. He is handcuffed and lead out to an awaiting squad car. Gary has fallen asleep behind the semi. He is awaken by Scizor. "Come on." Scizor says holding the trailer door open. Karen is still inside the Chamber talking to what lives in there. Maurice and Gaudalupe have gone home. After another hour Karen finally comes out and goes straight for bed. The following morning Ash is sleeping next to a smoldering campfire with Pikachu sleeping on the other side. Two figures quietly creep up and grab Pikachu. Pikachu freaks out and electrocutes them. Ash jumps to his feet and shouts "Who are you?" The two figures are laying on the ground smoking and twitching. Ash walks over and recognizes them. "Well if it isn't Jesse and James. Haven't seen you two for awhile." Ash says. James rolls over and says "Yeah well we have bigger fish to fry." "So why are you trying to steal Pikachu?" Ash asks. "Old habits die hard." Jesse says standing up and dusting herself off. Ash's eyes travel down Jesse's body quickly. He shakes the thoughts from his head before saying "I know this is out of character for me but, do you know the way back to the road?" Jesse and James look at each other for a second. "That way." James says pointing. "Thank you." Ash says and starts to pack his gear. Jesse and James stand there trying to think of another way to grab Pikachu but forget all about it as Ash and Pikachu walk off leaving them there. "What was that all about? Why was I looking Jesse over like that?" Ash asks himself quietly. Diego is handcuffed to a table and Tendo is pacing back and forth in front of him angrily. "Why did you come and get me last night? Ever since I have been here you have down nothing but pace in front of me. Either get to the point or I am leaving." Diego says slightly irritated. "Where is the rest of your siblings?" Tendo asks finally. Diego thinks for a moment and says "Paul and Slash have returned to their gyms. Sparx stayed in Goldenrod to get a few things. Inferno went to Cinnabar Island to do some sight seeing. Aurora is also in Goldenrod doing some research on Shino. As for Akurei he said he was headed up to Ekruteak to visit the Eevee Sisters. As far as I know anyway. So tell why did you drag me in here?" Tendo punches the wall and storms out leaving Diego handcuffed to the table. Gary is rudely woken up by Scizor fighting Scyther and Kabutops. He leaves the trailer and heads for the bunk. He walks past Karen who is in a very deep and peaceful sleep. Gary sits down in the passenger seat and looks back at her. "What am I doing? I am no match for her. She isn't like the girls I normally go for. She is a lot stronger willed and more determined." Gary thinks to himself. He turns back to face out the window and drifts off in his his own thoughts. For a couple hours nobody says a word. Gary is lost in thought. Scizor is fighting. Karen is sleeping. Ash is walking aimlessly in the forest and being followed by Jesse and James. All the tranquillity is disrupted by Larry. He pounds on the door which makes Gary jump. He looks back and sees Karen is still sound asleep. Gary answers the door and steps outside. "Where is Karen?" Larry asks. "Still asleep. You can go wait at the diner down the street. I'll come and get you when she is ready to talk." Gary says and climbs back in the cab. Larry sits there for a second before rolling down to the diner. Scizor is standing at the rear of the trailer watching everything. He goes back inside and continues fighting. Gary slips back into his thoughts and stares out the windshield. Ash stumbles over another tree root and curses under his breath. Pikachu readjusts his sleeping position and falls back to sleep. "How long do you intend on following me?" Ash yells back to Team Rocket. "We are simply following the same path we used to come in. Its strictly a coincidence that you are on the same path." Jesse yells back. Ash's cheeks flush listening to Jesse's voice. "What the hell is this all about?" Ash says to himself feeling the heat from his face. He keeps his face forward so no one notices him blushing. Gary nearly jumps out of his skin as Karen touches his shoulder. "Sorry. Didn't mean to startle you." Karen says sitting down in the driver's seat. "It's alright. I was lost in my thoughts." Gary says. "I heard what you said to Larry. Thank you. That was sweet of you to let me sleep." Karen says. Gary blushes a little as he says "No problem. I have decided not to go after you any more. I have realized that you are beyond my grasp. So I will do as Shino asked and keep you safe." Gary says handing her the note. Karen reads it and hugs him tightly. "Thank you again. You will find the right girl someday." She says and lets him go. Ash sits down around noon and makes a campfire. Team Rocket sit down a few yards away and their stomachs make a loud grumbling sound. Ash sighs as he gets his food out. "Would you like to eat something? I have more then enough to share." Ash says pulling out more food. In an instant later they are sitting around the fire with him. Ash's eyes quickly taking in Jesse's curves. "Why can't I stop doing that?" He says scolding himself. "Well I'll let you get ready. And I'll go get Larry." Gary says opening the passenger's door. "Don't get him yet. I'll let you know when I'm ready." Karen says disappearing into the back of the bunk. Scizor grabs Gary and leads him away. "You have done a very noble and honorable thing today. You have swallowed your pride and gave up on her. That was very tough for you I am sure. Time will heal it." Scizor says and thumps Gary's chest lightly. Gary walks off down the street. Inside the large building, Shino is laying motionless on the ground. The little black ball rolls up to Shino's body then it levitates into the air above the body. "So this is the fate of the great Shinogami. To die amongst these lowly mercenaries. That was a fate not even Celebi could of foreseen." A voice from within the little black ball says. Absolute silence. A medium sized spider crawls out of Shino's mouth and away from the body. The flys that have laid their eggs in Shino's gaping wounds fly off to another body. Even the maggots crawl out of the wounds. They are bloated on Shino's flesh and blood. The little ball bursts into dark purple flames and begins to drip on to Shino's body. The liquid is absorbed into the Shino's lifeless corpse. "Hope I wasn't too late." A voice from within the ball says. Karen is getting dressed as Scizor bursts in. "The ball is missing!" Scizor says and begins to search the room. "Ahem." Karen says standing there covering her bare chest with her shirt. "Sorry." Scizor says and quickly retreats back to the trailer. Agent Tendo walks back into the interrogation room where Diego has fallen asleep. "Wake up!" Tendo says slamming his fist down on the table. Diego sits up and yawns. "What is it now? Why are you holding me like this?" Diego asks. "I called the police stations in all the towns where you said you siblings were. All of them checked out. Except Akurei. He did visit the Eevee sisters for one night then was seen headed towards Blackthorn. Now tell me what has he done with my family?" Tendo says in a very pissed tone. "How should I know? I have been here all damn night. Or did you forget that? How do you know he even has them?" Diego snaps back. "Because they called me last night and said that they had won an all expense paid trip with Akurei from Gauntlet. Now tell me where the hell they are!" Tendo says punching Diego in the jaw. The handcuffs shatter along with the table causing Tendo to fall on his face. In a split second Diego's knee is on Tendo's throat and the room has turned to solid ice. "I have told you what I know. I told you where he was to the best of my knowledge. You have some delusion that I keep track of my siblings. I don't. What they do is there business. Not mine! I only keep tabs on Shino at the request of my sister. All you had to do was ask me to try and call him on his phone." Diego says angrily slamming Tendo's head on the ground. He pulls out his phone and calls Akurei while still pinning Tendo to the ground. "Is phone is off. That means he doesn't want to be bothered. I understand what you are going through but, you have nothing to worry about. Akurei won't harm your family. You have done nothing to upset him so your family won't be hurt." Diego says letting Tendo up. The ice melts and ISF agents burst in and tackle Diego. He is handcuffed and shackled. As they lead him out he turns to Tendo and says "Go take a couple days off. You look exhausted." Tendo sits back against the wall and covers his eyes. Gary walks back to the semi and sees Scizor standing outside the trailer. "She's ready. Lead the way." Scizor says as Karen steps out of the semi. The three of them head down to the diner. Larry has the entire diner emptied. "Welcome, my love. I take it you are ready to become my beloved wife." Larry says smiling. Karen sits down across from him with a look of total disgust on her face. "So tell me what is your answer? Just remember what is on the line here." He says pulling out another set of Polaroids. There is a long awkward silence. From out of nowhere the five large front windows shatter sending glass everywhere. Scizor jumps in front of Karen and Gary dives behind the counter.

The ferry reaches the other side around midnight but no one gets off they have fallen asleep so the captain of the ferry lets everyone sleep. As the sun rises the captain blows the horn and wakes everybody up. Ash gets up and picks Pikachu up who is still sleeping. In Tempest Maurice and Guadalupe have gone back to Maurice's place while Diego stays at the hotel. Karen is up and about cleaning the inside of the semi just trying to keep her mind busy. Scizor is also up and is removing the armor from the semi. Gary shows up and says "Need any help?" Scizor looks down at him from the roof. "Sure. Take those armor plates and carry them to the back of the trailer." Scizor replies pointing at the pile. Gary does as he is told. Larry is at his hotel room sleeping peacefully with a very big smile on his face. Clutched tightly in his hand are several Polaroids. Agent Tendo arrives in Tempest and all of his agents meet him there. Officer Jenny greets them and says "The third floor is all yours. My officers are out picking up the people you wanted. They should be back shortly." With in an hour all the officers returned. Each officer put their assigned person in an interrogation room. Tendo checks in on each one before going into a room. Karen looks up and says "What do you want?" "Rumor has it that Shino has been missing for a few days. Yet you haven't reported him missing. Now why is that?" Tendo says. Karen pulls out her phone and dials someone. As it rings she turns the speakerphone on. "Missing and Lost persons. This is Mary. How may I help you?" Mary says. "I would like to report my boyfriend Shino missing." Karen says. "Shino as in Shinogami?" Mary replies. "Yes ma'am." Karen says. Mary bursts into laughter and says "That is a good thing. Hopefully he is dead." Karen hangs up. "I see. Well I didn't you tell the local cops?" Tendo asks. "Because they have more important things to do. Besides he did something similar three years ago. I am not to worried." Karen says calmly. Tendo gets up and heads to the next room. Gary sits there fidgiting in his seat. "You look nervous Gary." Tendo says sitting down. "I'm fine. Just not used to being in a police station. That's all." Gary replies. "So where is Shino?" Tendo asks getting right to the point. "He walked off about four days ago and hasn't been back since then." Gary replies. "Anything else?" Tendo asks. "Nope." Gary says quickly. Tendo leaves and when he opens the next door he can see his breath. He checks the thermostat and sees that it is set at eighty. Diego is sitting there calm and collected. "Hope you don't mind but it was too hot in here so I cooled it down some." Diego says smiling. "Sure whatever makes you comfortable. Now tell me where Shino is at." Tendo says with a shiver. Diego takes in a deep breath and leans back thinking. After several minutes he finally says "From what I have gathered he gave all his possesions to Karen and then walked off. There are rumors that he is dead and other rumors say he is in the Japan somewhere. Neither of which can be verified." Tendo is sitting there shivering and says "Is that all you know?" Diego is quiet for several more minutes just to enjoy watching Tendo suffer. Tendo's phone beeps and he looks at it to see the battery die. "Yes that is all I know. That is what all of us know. You can question us all day long and that's all you will get." Diego says. "Very well. I will let all of you go if you just let the heat come back on." Tendo says. Diego, Karen, Maurice, Guadalupe, Gary, and Scizor all walk out of the police station and head back to their previous activities. Ash has found himself hopelessly lost in a dense forest. "Damn it! How did I get lost so easily?" Ash says sitting down on a log. Pikachu wanders around staying in sight of Ash at all times. "See anything?" Ash asks. Pikachu walks over and shakes his head. "Well we will make camp here tonight. Then head out tomorrow morning." Ash says full of hope. Larry wheels himself up to the semi and knocks on the door. Scizor opens it and closes it right away. A few moments later Karen comes out. "I have come for your answer." He says. "Like I told you yesterday. I will give it when I am good and ready. Until then you are to leave me alone." Karen says turning to go back inside the semi. "Ahem. These may interest you. I took them myself." Larry says handing her the Polaroids. Karen takes them and looks at them. She falls to her knees and her jaw drops. Scizor steps out and looks over her shoulder. His eyes widen and his claws clamp shut. A demonic laugh comes from the trailer. Larry backs up as he says "What the hell was that?" "That would be one of Shino's top two pokemon." Scizor says. Once Larry calms himself, he says "Do you believe me now? I told you he was dead and I have the body. If you want the body to have a proper burial then you know what you must do. I will come back in the morning for your answer. If you tell me no then his body will be touring the country as some sideshow exhibit. Sleep well my beautiful angel." Larry rolls off with a huge smile on his face. Maurice and Gaudalupe pass him and see the large smile on his face. Karen has collapsed on the ground and is sobbing uncontrolably. Scizor picks her up and carries her inside. "I don't want to believe this. I refuse to believe this. Its not true. It can't be true." Karen says over and over while still sobbing. Scizor shows Maurice and Guadalupe the pictures and Guadalupe starts to cry. "So what is the plan?" Maurice says handing the photos back. Scizor shrugs and says "I'll show Him and see what he decides." Scizor walks back towards the Chamber and goes inside. He returns a little while later and whispers something to Karen. She stops crying and tries to regain her composure. She follows Scizor back to the Chamber and she goes inside. Gary is sitting on the ground leaning against the back of the trailer plotting. Tendo is at the police station finally warmed up when his phone goes off. His eyes widen and his face turns bright red. He slams his phone to the ground shattering it. All the agents stop what they are doing and look at him. "Somebody go bring Diego back in for some more questioning. NOW!!!" Tendo says through gritted teeth.
