Ash and Jesse are sitting at the Pokecenter glued to the news. Neither of them can believe what they are hearing or seeing. "I can't believe he would just turn himself in like that." Ash says. "This is Jeff Rousch reporting live from a forest preserve just outside Devil's Mind. This area is normally very peaceful and a spot where newbie trainers come to train but today was not the case. Hundreds of trainers have flocked to this spot to try and capture, yes I said capture, Shino's infamous pokemon, Scizor. (a large cloud of smoke starts billowing out of the trees.) As you can see he is putting up quite a fight. According to the locals a secret valley around here is said to be home to the metal bug pokemon. (It starts to rain) That's very odd there are no clouds in the sky. (he looks at his sleeve and sees that its blood falling) OH MY GOD!!! What the hell? (Scizor comes walking out of the now burning forest dragging something behind him.) Folks I would advise you to stay far away from this area at all costs." Jeff says before the front half of his body falls to the ground. Scizor grabs the camera and while filming himself kills the cameraman. "Attention all you pathetic trainers out there. If you wanna come after that's fine but be fore warned. This will happen to you and your pokemon. (pans down to a large pile of human and pokemon heads.) I am not joking. I don't care if you are a man, woman, or child. You will all meet the same fate. (pans back to his face.) I WANT TO BE LEFT THE HELL ALONE!!! You have been warned." Scizor says and drops the camera so it faces the remains of Jeff. Ash looks away from the TV and tries to calm his stomach. Jesse sits there absolutely stunned. "That was Shino's Scizor. I don't know if that was some sort of challenge or warning? Do you Diane?" The male anchorman says. "Not sure Tom. But if I were a trainer I would steer clear of that pokemon. Now on to sports." Diane says. Before the camera switches to the sports guy, Mewtwo steps out of the forest. Two trainers run towards him and a purple flash of light is seen before blood sprays the camera lens. A few days go by and the Scizor thing has died down. Trainers have stopped going after him and sightings of a strange purple cat have increased. Ash and Jesse left Current and head into a nearby cave that leads to the next town at the bottom of the large mountain. "I hate dark places like this." Jesse says scooting closer to Ash. "I talked to the locals they said there is no dangerous pokemon in the section where the main path is." Ash says as Pikachu collapses on the ground. Ash picks him up and he is passed out. Ash takes off running with Jesse right behind him. An hour later the arrive at the town. Nurse Joy greets them at the pokecenter and Ash hands her Pikachu. "He just collapsed." He says. Joy smiles and says "No need to worry. You just came from Current, right? (Ash nods) He needs some rest. You see Current is like a charger for electric pokemon. The electric pokemon get so much energy from just standing there that when they leave their body returns to normal. So in a couple hours he will be back to normal." Ash sighs in relief and says "Where is the gym?" "We don't have a gym here. The pokemon gym is a couple miles up the mountain. However the only path leading there has been shutdown due to the extremely dense fog." Nurse Joy says smiling. "That sucks. Guess we have no choice but to sit around and wait." Ash replies and heads for the couch. Jesse has already fallen asleep on a nearby chair. Around sunset Ash is awoken by Jesse. "Come on. I got us a room." Jesse says holding up a key. They walk down the hall to the room and Ash is sweating bullets. "I have never been invited to sleep in a girl's room before. What should I do?" Ash says to himself. Jesse gives him a smile and opens the door. Inside are two beds and Ash sighs in relief. "Why Ash were you thinking something perverted just now?" Jesse says teasingly. Ash's face turns even more red and she laughs. At the prison were Shino is being held three guards enter his cell. Shino is sitting on the ground with his back against the wall. "So, this is the Great and Powerful Shinogami?" One of them says. "He doesn't look all that powerful to me." Says the second one. The third one kicks Shino in the face and the back of his head hits the wall. Shino does nothing. The guards then began to kick him repeatedly till they were wore out. As they were leaving the first guard turns towards Shino and says "Just think. Everyday for the rest of your life we get to beat your ass." Shino sits back up and doesn't say a word. The cell door slams shut and Shino holds up the little black ball. "It appears that this will be a relaxing vacation." Shino says with a smile. The ball lights up for a second and then fades. The following morning Ash and Jesse are sitting down at a restaurant having breakfast when Jesse says "There are a hell of a lot of trainers here. More then usual." The waitress sets their bill down and says "Yup. The pass to the next badge has been closed for a couple weeks now and all the trainers have been stuck here." The waitress walks off. "Well I can hone my skills for awhile." Ash says grinning. Jesse rolls her eyes and sighs. For the next few days Ash does nothing but battle the trainers. He manages to actually send several home. On the fourth day Ash doesn't get up instead he stays in bed. Jesse wakes up around noon and sees him still sleeping. "Wow. I can't believe the runt actually gets tired of battling." She says wrapping her robe around her and quietly walking over to his bed. She looks down at him and smiles. Ash wakes up and looks straight into her eyes. He blinks a couple times and jumps making her chuckle. "Just calm down. You have never been around a woman before have you?" Jesse says. Ash quickly covers himself with his pillow and shakes his head. "No. Misty was the only girlfriend I have ever had." Ash replies. "Is that so?" Jesse says. "Do what you like today. Just be back here and dressed up by six sharp." She continues with a smile.
