Ash and Jesse walk out of the Pokecenter around noon and head towards the gym. There was a line so they headed toward the cafe across the street. While they are eating Akurei pulls up a chair and sits down with them. "Good afternoon." He says. "What do you want?" Ash asks. "What's with the attitude?" Akurei replies. "Nothing. Just nervous about the Gym battle." Ash says. "Don't worry to much about it. Diego isn't that tough. (Jesse gets up and heads towards the ladies room) Now Ash, it seems you have done quite well. A beautiful girlfriend and working on your last badge." Akurei says. "What's your point?" Ash asks. "Be at the top of the mountain at ten o'clock tonight. And you had better come alone. I'll watch Jesse for you." Akurei says. "Keep your hands off her." Ash shoots back as Jesse walks back to the table. "What was that about?" Jesse asks. "He wants me to be on top of the mountain at ten o'clock tonight for some reason." Ash replies. "You should go and see what he wants. I am going to bed early tonight." Jesse says. Back in prison Shino is sitting in his cell trying to heal his broken bones. "Damn." He says finding another one. A guard walks in and says "The warden wants to see you. (Shino steps into the hall and the guard sees the wounds) Are you alright? What the hell happened to you?" "I'm fine. Just need to rest for a couple days and I will be back to normal. Did your kid like the autograph?" Shino replies walking down the hall. "Very much. Would you mind if I brought him in so he can meet you?" The guard asks. "That's fine. How about next week. My schedule is packed this week." Shino says with a grin. The guard laughs and knocks on the Warden's door. Shino walks in and sits down. Meanwhile Maurice is on his hands and knees groveling before Guadalupe. "How could you have such little trust in me or your brother? I realize psychics are complicated but there is no reason to think I would cheat on you." She says. "I am so sorry. I don't know what came over me. Please forgive me." Maurice begs. "I don't know. This is going to take some time. For now pack your bags and get out." She says turning her back on him. Maurice gets up and packs his bags. As he walks out the door he looks back at her. Ash and Jesse are standing in line when it starts snowing. "That is odd." Jesse says. "What is?" Ash replies. "There is snow all over the place and its snowing, yet we are out here in shorts and T-shirts." She says. "Yeah it is." Ash says looking around at the snow. A couple more hours go by and Ash is finally at the door. As he reaches for the handle he notices the "closed" sign. "You have got to be kidding me." Ash says. Jesse checks her watch. "Its six o'clock. Lets go sight seeing for a bit. At nine thirty they head back to the Pokecenter. "Well you have a date, so I am going to go to bed. Good night." She says and kisses him. Ash kisses her back and backs her against the wall. While they are kissing Akurei pulls up on his motorcycle. He revs the engine startling them. "Hope I didn't interrupt anything." He says. "Yes, please leave." Ash says. "Can't but I will be more then happy to finish where you left off." Akurei says. Ash glares at him and says "Not a chance. She was going to bed. And you are going to lead me to the top of that mountain." Ash climbs onto the back of the bike. They ride off. Shino on the other hand is getting his usual nightly beating from the night guards. They throw him back in his cell and he lays there laughing demonically. Ash reaches the summit and looks around. There is no one up there. The moon is so bright and big from this height that it is almost like daylight. Misty walks out from behind a boulder and says "Sorry to call you away like this but I wanted to talk to you alone." She says and walks towards him. "Misty? What did you want to talk about?" Ash says looking around. Akurei has gone back to the Pokecenter and picked Jesse up. Akurei puts Jesse on his back and runs up the side of the mountain. They hide behind another boulder and Jesse quietly listens and watches. Misty runs over and hugs Ash tightly. He finds himself unable to move and hugs her back. "Oh, Ash. I am so sorry for hurting you. I thought you were the problem in our relationship but I was the one to blame. I pushed and pushed and finally pushed you away. Now I am afraid that I have lost you completely. (Ash opens his mouth to say something but Misty puts her finger to his lips.) Let me finish. I didn't realize how much I actually cared for you till I saw you with Jesse at the canyon in Baseton. Before you say anything let me explain. I called and asked Akurei if had seen you around and he told me you where you were. I then had him follow you around till I got there and then followed you myself. When you kissed her my heart broke. And then the next morning I was waiting for you in the waiting room when you asked her out. My heart completely shattered. I dove behind the counter because I couldn't face you. You looked so happy. I haven't seen you smile like that since you asked me out. Then just a few days ago when I saw your picture in the paper about you and her staying in that fantasy hotel I just lost it. I came here immediately. Ash, I know I hurt you and I am honestly and truly sorry for that. Could you find it in your heart to forgive me and take me back?" Misty with tears streaming down her face. Jesse is sitting there nervously. "Shit. I just lost the best thing that has ever happened to me. What am I going to do now?" Jesse says to herself and starts sobbing. "Misty, I will admit that seeing you with James pissed me off beyond belief. I also know why you dumped me. It was because all I ever talked about, Jesse helped me figure that out. She has helped me a lot since I met her. As well as Shino and Karen. They all helped me become the person I am today. You helped more then anyone and I thank you for that. You were my first love and I will always love you but I am not in love with you. I love Jesse. (Jesse looks at him and smiles with tears of joy running down her face.) She has taught me so much in the last few weeks. As for the picture, nothing happened. That happened to be the only place with open rooms. Had I known earlier how you really felt about me then things may of turned out differently. Now if you'll excuse me I have to get back to Jesse." Ash says and kisses her cheek before turning to walk away. Akurei shoves Jesse out from behind the boulder and Ash sees her. She runs up to him and hugs him tightly. "Ash do you really mean it?" Jesse asks with tears still running down her cheeks. "Yes. I love you Jesse." Ash says hugging her back. Misty falls to her knees and starts sobbing uncontrollably. "I love you too, Ash." Jesse says and kisses him passionately. Akurei walks over to Misty and picks her up. "Come on. Lets go get you something to drink." Akurei says carrying her off.
