BUSHIDO:

Gi - Rectitude - Uprightness as a consequence of being honorable and honest.

Yu - Courage - the ability to confront fear in the face of pain, danger, uncertainty or intimidation.

Jin - Benevolence - characterises the true goodness of the mind, the unbiased kindness and altruism.

Rei - Respect - unbiased consideration and regard for rights, values, beliefs and property.

Makoto - Honesty - the quality of being honest, is a value which can be defined in multiple ways. In the context of human communication, people are generally said to be honest when they tell the truth to the best of their knowledge and do not hide what they know or think. Apart from being truthful, honesty is also generally thought to involve abstaining from unfair behaviour, such as stealing or cheating on a test.

Meiyo - Honor - quite possibly the most important part of bushido, it is also the easiest to explain. It comprises the reputation, self-perception or moral identity of an individual or of a group.

Chugi - Loyalty - personal devotion and reverence.

Well im new here and all but if anyone here has an LJ then you can look me up on there as: samurai_cj or sabre_siege

other then that the only thing i can say is that i am a fan of almost all anime. Unfortunately though i dont enjoy much of the older anime but there are exceptions. I just think the storylines are not what they could be. and that is just an opinion and is subject to change lol.
