I don't care
You know the feeling you get, right before the day starts, you're lying in your bed, dozy, comfy, and warm, awake but not quite awake, sleeping but not quite sleeping, and everything seems perfect? There may be a small trickle of light coming in from the gaps in the blinds,a bird making some random noise that early in the morning... everything is tranquil and peaceful, and for just a few minutes God's in his heaven, and all's right with the world.

...Then it is shattered by the ringing of the fire alarm they use as a siren to wake up the boys in the morning. The dream/reality shatters and crumbles, and cold, hard reality slams you in the face like a freight train.

It happened to me this morning.

Boarding school is not a kind place. I almost felt like staying in my nice warm bed this morning, you know, to heck with what the housemaster says. It was so perfect, so perfect... and the fools had to go and ruin it all...
