   My new pet bird...till tomorrow...

Well, I was on my walk last night, I walk about ten minutes and in the yard right next the sidewalk I see a bird trying to fly. I look closer and it's dragging itself acrossed the yard while trying to fly. I look closer, and apparently it has some kind of leg injury that won't let it stand up. I called my mom and she came by with a shoebox and we brought it home. It was starving, we looked up what kind of bird it was, it is a female Bullock's Oriole. They eat fruit sometimes, and we have a rasberry garden on the side of our house. She loves them(or she's so starved that she'll eat anything)

Yeah, I've had her since last night. She's sleeping right now, and we are going to see if the Ogden Nature center will take her in, if not...I don't know...I'd like to just keep her, I named her and everything, but I don't think you can just take in wild animals like that. That and I already have a parakeet, an anti-social one, who will rip the flesh of anyone who sticks their hand in the cage. This one trusts me, she'll let me hold her and feed her. I'm trying to teach her how to stand upright, but so far no progress. And if I let her lay on my shoulder she'll stay there, unless she tries flying away. I don't want to give her away, I tend to be a real softie when it comes to birds and and small animals, unless it's my crappy turtle that KyoKrazy thinks will attack her.

Anyway, last little other details. My dad is home now, and he'll be home for almost two months instead of five days!!! He goes on trips for bussiness in Alabama for thee weeks each time. I'm glad he's staying home for longer, possibly for my birthday! YAY! I will turn fifteen in 58 days!!!!! And then it will be one more year till I can get a job!!! I think I will volenter and the nature center. I can't wait! And my dad will be able to show me how to work the scanner! YAY FANART!!!!
