I Ask (Why) ~ POEM BY Kisae-chan ^o^!
Here I am in my place,
where I should be.
Where I was before.
In that shadowy, cold, and dark place in your heart.
There is no sound,
or light.
Your heart turned to a clean slate,
on that very day.
But still,
I ask myself why and what,
what do they get out of breaking a girl's heart.
When she worked so hard to get there.
Tearing her down to shreds.
Whenever I watched you,
whenever I watched you out of the corner of my eye,
I knew something was wrong.
The way you looked at her,
the way you made her cry.
She waited for you,
day after day,
she believed all those lies you said.
And whatever happened to loving people as they are?
And not for just fancy clothes, jewelry, and wealth?
Whatever you did,
I saw her break down.
And tell me this,
what makes you so special,
when you've cheated on a girl,
or broken her heart,
giving her false hopes?
I ask all these questions out of my own curiosity,
because that girl in the story I told,
was me.
