Welcome ot Maine.... for all you out-off-staters exploring the Vacationland!!
I got this from a friend on Trupoets. His name is Zach on there. I thought this was pretty funny and I wanted to share it. ^^

Maine Turnpike will hand out "Welcome to Vacationland" informational flyers to all vehicles entering the state bearing New Jersey, New York or Connecticut license plates. Here are the rules for visiting Maine:

1. That slope shouldered farm boy you are snickering at did more work before breakfast than you will do all week at the gym.

2. It's called a "gravel road." No matter how slowly you drive, you're going to get dust on your BMW. We have a four wheel drive because we need it. Now drive or get it out of the way.

3. We all started hunting and fishing when we were nine years old. Yeah, we saw Bambi. We got over it.

4. Any references to "corn fed" when talking about our women will get your butt kicked...by our women.

5. Pull your pants up, and turn your hat around. You look like an idiot.

6. If that cell phone rings while a bunch of mallards are making their final approach, we will shoot it. You might hope you don't have it up to your ear at the time!

7. No, there's no "Vegetarian Special" on the menu. Order steak. Order it rare. Order a two pound lobster and steamers. Or, if you still want vegetables, you can order the Chef's Salad and pick off the two pounds of ham and turkey.

8. Yeah, we have sweet tea. It comes in a glass with two packets of sugar and a long spoon.

9. You bring Coke into our houses, it better be brown, wet, and served over ice.

10. So you have a sixty-thousand dollar car. We're real impressed. We have quarter-million dollar skidders to pull logs out of the woods.

11. Let's get this straight. We have one stoplight in town. We stop when it's red. We may even stop when it's yellow. Hell, we may even stop when it is green if we see something interesting across the road.

12. Our women hunt, fish, and drive trucks because they want to. So, you say you're a feminist. Isn't that cute? By the way, Margaret Chase Smith, Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins have represented Maine in the U.S. Senate. How many women have represented your feminist-enlightened state?

13. Yeah, we eat lobster, scallops, clams and haddock, too. If you really want sushi and caviar, it's available at the bait shop.

14. They are pigs and they are cows. That's what they smell like. Get used to it. Don't like it? Interstate 95 & Maine Turnpike go two ways....get on the Southbound Lane!

15. "Opening day" refers to the first days of fishin' and deer season'. They are religious holidays. You can get breakfast at the church. At 3:00a.m.

16. So what if every person in every pickup waves? It's called being friendly. Understand the concept where you come from?

17. Yeah, we have golf courses. Don't hit in the water hazards. It spooks the fish.

18. Chowder is supposed to be white. Don't even think of asking for red chowder until you are somewhere safely south of White Plains.

19. All the boats in Maine point in the same direction because that's what harbor Masters are trained to do.

20. The farthest you got is Ogunquit? That isn't the real Maine. That's Northern Massachusetts.

21. Yeah, the paper mill emits a smell like rotting cabbage. Do you want it closed down? Bad odor means good people are working.

22. Bar Harbor, Camden and Kennebunkport are really tourist traps which no self-respecting real Mainer visits but we won't tell you that because we need your money.

23. The "Moose Crossing Next 14 Miles" signs on I-95 are no joke. Police concluded statistically you have a greater chance of getting killed in a car-moose collision than getting shot by a mugger in Manhattan.

24. Cars with Massachusetts license plates should be treated with great caution as everyone in Maine knows that Massholes can't drive properly.

25. Unless the word "Sucks" follows, the word "Yankees" should not appear on clothing worn within the northern province of Red Sox Nation.

I'm like really bored right now....
My weekend went pretty good. Spent some time in the great outdoors and with Nate. ^^ fun fun
We found a stream that ran along the road that we were camping on in the middle of nowheres and decided to trudge through that back to camp.. got lost... had to walk through bramble bushes to get out but it was all pretty fun. Heh.
I don't gots much to talk about today .... OH! My mom is back!! Which is pretty awesome... being that I missed her and I couldn't stand another day with my stepdad and little sister without her. And I miss her cooking... I had McDonalds and sandwhiches all weekend.. yay... *twitch*

   MUUUUUUDDDDDDD!!!!!!
Sry... I'm really hyper. Me and Nate just got back from fourwheeling pretty much all day with christy and stacy. But they quit halfway through. It was awesome. I have a 350 Arti Cat manual foot shift... and the one that he's been ridin is a 400 Arti Cat auto... AND MINE KICKED HIS ASRE!!!MWAH HAHAHAHAHA.... sry. The 400 is only faster on straightaways cause I have to shift but throught the trails I lose his sorry butt. It's so great. So he thought that he could ride mine and not get stuck. (Cause I can) So he goes through the deepest part in 2 wheeldrive like a told him to (cause I wanted him to get stuck and unstuck himslef...) And he got stuck like planned... but then stupid couldn't get it out. So I had to tredge through the friggin mud to help him... well he had one side in the air and the other one completely under the mud... I couldn't even get it out. So my poor fourwheeler is sitting in the mud swamo thing right now til tomorrow when theres some light so I can see.
Oh well it was fun. ^^
My mom is leaving for her trip tomorrow at like 5 in the morning... but thats okay.. mom needs the vacation.
I'm gonna jet now... so... LATER EVERYONE!!!

   Red... Red... and oh look more red
hehe the title refers to my current theme...
At the moment I'm enjoying a nice bowl of pork ramen... good stuff ya know... and Checking on my sites.
I love MyO... It's so much funner than most of the sites out there.
Well the puppy is good... she had little needle teeth and likes to chew on me... aren't I lucky. But she is so cute and she gets along great with her brother. My dad decided we aren't going to train her in oriental... oh well.
How was everyones weekend?
I went to my dads and swam a lot... and then disc golfed. Fun fun... ^^

^^ I got the puppy!
Her name it Lotti. Its german. My dad picked it out and I think its very cute.
Anyways... I really need help.
I need the oriental words for the common dog commands. My father would like to train her in a different langauge so when ppl come to our house she wont listen to them, only to us.

   ^^ OMG This is sooo great!!
Okay... My brother left this morning around 4:30 hehehe and It's been pretty peaceful aside the fact that I had to listen to my sister all day.
We went to My nan. and pups. and saw they're new puppy... its soo adorable, his name's Rhowdi (sounds like rowdy)and it fits... until he gets tired then he just conks out. It's wicked cute.
And that brings me to my other awesome news!!
I'm getting a puppy tomorrow!! It's going to be a little girl pup... German Shepard from the same mother of Rhowdi... I wanna name her Roxi but my mom says my dad gets to name her. Which stinks cause I wanna. Oh well. And they bought her a aweful pink collar/leash set... s=which sucks cause I hate pink but mom says shes a girl and pinks a girl color, I tried to convince her that so was blue but she refused... I hate Pink. AH! I HATE PINK!! *throws random pink item* GRAHHHH!!
Okay.. I'm okay. *twitch* ... Pink... *twitch*
Hehe.

   Hey all.
Hows everyone doin... hopefully better than I am.
I hate to sound mean but I can't wait... only 3 more days.
3 more painful... agonizing days 'til my step brother. He used to be really nice. And great. But now, his mother has him brainwashed and he's a punk. I'm just sick of him.
On a more positive note, I got a MySpace... I still think MyOtaku is a lot better. hehe.
Well I don't have much to say tonight... so I'll be back soon.

   Meh....
Thats How I feel right now.. Meh.
I have no friends over... and my brother is slinking around making queer noises... my little sis is down stairs with my mom and dad in mom's craft room... and here I am.. sittin here.. I was reading Shakespeare... yea I'm 14 and I'm readin Shakespeare, over my summer vacation not forced either.And worse yet I understand a lot of it. (Hamlet)
I need help, mental that is, I guess.
Today I got to go to ACMoore and spend my money on scraping stuff.. but still had some leftover for a run to the bookstore.. Hehehe.. I got to new Manga's (Her Majesty's Dog 3 and KamaKaze 1) so I was all happy. And then we went out to eat at Old Country buffet.. which I pretty much go for the Mac and Cheese and desserts.. they have the best apple stuff... heh. Then I went to the Library and got Shakespeare and a few other books. Yes I'm crazy, I write and read all summer. But that only in my spare time. I fourwheel most of the summer. And swim... swimming is fun and I try to swim atleast 1-2 times a week with the exception of some days. Fun fun. Or I'm playin Video Games.. I like those. Ratchet and Clank is the best. Even if it's not as cool as other games, I just don't have the friggin 50 bucks to buy a new anime VG every month, cause I find those ones to easy. No offense to ppl that like them.
Well.. I'm gonna go on Gaia and see if I have a PM or anything on there.. and then to trupoets. Like I always do. Later ppl.
