   The Time Is Nearing!
Ever notice that you give someone advice and they're grateful for it but when you need advice you won't take your own? Like telling someone "Hey just tell your crush you like them! The worst that can happen is that they don't like you back" but if you are scared to talk to a person you like than you don't take your advice and just say it to them.

Well I started thinking about that and realized that I need to take my own advice and either shove it or use it. See my mom is famous for saying she wants to get all rich (she occasionally gambles, no she doesn't have a problem) but she hardly ever plays a game that pays big money. So I always tell her: "In order to win, you have to play." She of course ignores me hehehe.

Well to get slightly off topic, AX is nearing and I'm a lazy/slightly busy person so I have to get things done early or they may not get done. So I'm working on my final outfit and I was thinking 'I want to win a cosplay contest at a con, not just a local one' but I'm very worried about my abilities to sew and craft.

That's when my own advice bit me. I can't win unless I play. So that's what I'm going to do. I'm sick of always dreaming about what I could do and how it wouldn't take any work to get there. Because life doesn't play like that. I have to work hard to get where I want to be. I have to dedicate time and effort into my projects.

Overall I decided to enter the cosplay contests for upcoming cons and I'm going to put my heart into it! Even if I don't win, I want to feel like I accomplished something great. Besides I can handle losing, it's all about the fun of doing your best. ^_^ Peace out!
