Hm...
Is this one worried or constipated?
I think I'll delight you with another tale of Kelly. This one is from over a year ago. The end of the Spring Semester to be exact. The day before the last day Kelly was going to be around. I went up to hang out with everyone on that last day. And hang out we did. This was the first time I really consumed any alcohol. A very minute amount, but still, alcohol is alcohol. So anyway; We're watching movies, and shows, etc. She likes Invader Zim. ^^ so we watched that. AS the night goes on, the weather starts to deteriorate. I call up my Dad and tell him I'm going to be home late. He's fine with that. So I stay longer, and watch while everyone else plays drinking games. Rum and Dr. Pepper is horrible, by the way. The later it gets, the more I just want to stay, so I call my Dad up again and ask if I can stay over. He says okay. Imagine my delight, staying in a Girls Dorm. I was barely seventeen at the time if memory serves. Anyway, the night wears on, and people start to leave. Eventually we all decide to hit the sack, and I end up with a choice. I can sleep on the floor in Kelly's room, or I can share a bed with her. (Yeah, like it was really a choice)so I get in bed with Kelly, and she stays up to chat with a friend for a bit. I'm just sitting there, in her bed, waiting on them to finish so I can sleep. Finally they do. Kelly and I exchange a glance and a smile as she turns out the lights.
I woke up the next morning wondering where I was, and then realizing I was in fact in Heaven. It was bloody early though, and everyone else was out. I tried to go back to sleep, which eventually went through. A awoke again, still early. I killed time by reading the posters on the walls and stealing the occasional look at the sleeping face of Kelly. She's very cute when she's asleep. I fall asleep again, and awake to the sound of her alarm clock. She wakes up after about five minutes of it's beeping, whereas I couldn't decide whether I should turn it off or not. She looks at me, smiles, and tells me to hit the snooze. So I do. Repeat this two or three more times. She likes to sleep in. Finally, she wakes up and stays awake. She gives this glorious smile that warms the room, and makes me melt into a little puddle. We get dressed and all prepped and such, since her parents are coming to pick her up in a little while. I stand there awkwardly while she gets her final things ready, and I get up the nerve to leave. Finally, I start for the door. She gives me a very nice hug, and I say bye. Then I walk out of the room and down the flights of stairs out of the dorm. I walk out into the crisp, cool air, and get into my car. I can't help but be sad, because I won't see her for awhile. We exchange a few emails and IM conversations, but that's about it.
I really miss her. I really don't know why I'm indulging this stuff now. I'd pushed it aside all summer until recently someone I know brought her up, and said she had a gut feeling that we would be together. I've thought about her every day since. I'm not going to see her until January, since she's going on a Study abroad program to Japan. So I've got a bit of a road ahead before I even see her. Hopefully I can forget about her before then.
