I just thought I'd use this one for a change
Been awhile since I've posted something longer than a sentence. I've been busy with College and all that. Haven't even had time for M*A*S*H, or Buffy. Not too much time for sleep, either.
I'd tossed around the idea of living on campus long before the deadline was up. I wanted to, and still do. I think I'll miss out on alot. But, I recently had the opportunity to, even though I was way late. My Dad talked me out of it, or rather my Step-Mother did. I'd be saving something like Twenty grand by staying at home. I've been looking around for a new car recently, and the money I'd spend on room and board would cover it nicely. And here I get privacy, and some semblence of peace and quiet. We'll see what happens.
I met this incredible girl the first day of orientation. I arrived fashionably late to the meeting, meaning that there weren't many seats left. I perched myself on the arm of a chair while my Mom and Dad sat across from me. The people droned on until they had us introduce ourselves, and where we graduated High School from. Apparently I made an impression on this girl just by saying my name, major, and school. Later on when we were about to have lunch outside, we picked a choice spot in the shade. The girl and her mother asked if they could sit, because it was a choice spot. We agreed, and they sat. Introductions abounded, and the girl said she had told her mother I seemed like the only interesting person in the room. The room was full of people, by the way. ^^
Turns out, after about three days of non-stop revelation, that she likes nearly everything I do. She's a Black Belt at Tae Kwon Do, speaks Latin, loves reading, watching good movies, M*A*S*H, Anime, Fight Club, and is the smartest person I've probably ever met who is close to my age. She's got a bigger vocabulary than I do. I'm dumbfounded by that. Not only that, but I finally get to exercise mine around her. I can flaunt any words I want and I don't need to stop and explain anything. She's great. Anyway...hm. Seemed to have run out of steam there. I've got homework, and classes haven't even started yet. Tee-hee. Ah well, my schedule rocks hard core.
Oh, did I tell you I have letters in my right eye? I do. My eyes are a really bright icy blue, that usually catches people off-guard. The chick mentioned above was surprised when I took off my sunglasses. Anyway, I've got the letters RS right beneath my pupil, in my Iris. Strange, isn't it? It's by no stretch of the imagination either, they're pretty clearly RS. I think the R might be kinda backwards, but it's in a font that makes it hard to tell. ^^
