The universe follows a greater law that is beyond our imagination.
To understand, disassemble, and reconstruct under this law…that is Alchemy.

Livin' in sin with a safety pin.
Bad news true believers. My moron of an uncle decided that it would be a great idea to re-install Windows on my computer. He also thought it would be a great idea not to back anything up. So, I won't be on to post for a while. You'll manage.

Oh, and Ben. Remember that fanfic I gave to you a while back? The Power Ranger one? Please tell me you still have that.

Please.

Ready, steady, give me good luck!
The Changeling
Category X - The
Changeling

Witty, amusing and a bit weird, you're welcomed
into most social groups, even though you don't
'fit in' perfectly .

What Type of Social Entity are You?
brought to you by Quizilla

That was one of the best quizzes I have taken. Well thought out questions with a good variety of answers, not just "LOLZ WHICZ FAVRIT COLOROR?!!1! READ, YELLOW, OR WTF I DONT LIKE COLORZ LOL!"

Anyway... This vastly unusual double post today is brought to you by the greatest anime series of all time, Full Metal Alchemist.

If you haven't heard about this amazing series, it centers around the Elric brothers, Edward and Alphonso. They are travelling the world to find the fabled "Philosipher's Stone." Why, you ask?

Well, due to an incident from when they were children, Ed lost his right arm and left leg. Al lost his entire body, and his soul was bonded to a suit of armor. They believe Philosipher's Stone will get them their lost body parts back.

The main protaganists are the "Homunculi," the first of whom we meet are Lust, Gluttoney, and Envy. Depending on how much you know about literature, you might be able to see how this goes.

This series is extremely philosophical. It also has some of the best characters I have ever seen, a wonderful sense of humor, and more twists and turns than a Minotaur's day care.

I recommend this to anyone and everyone.

If you are reading this post and I've already changed my avatar, whatever character I've chosen it from Alchemist. If I haven't changed it, be forewarned.

It had to be you...
Well, that was successful. Considering I was only expecting two questions. ^_^ It was from who I was expecting, though. And I was so sure that the people to ask me questions would be Sara and Ben, that for an entire day I thought Ben had said what Solo said. :/

Sara: To paraphrase a certain member of the Deegan family, "Only real men type in pink."

Solo Tremaine: 1.Mint chocolate chip. It was decent... it wasn't the best, but it wasn't the worst. Main thing was, I wanted to make a milkshake out of it. That's what I get for being lazy.

2. To be perfectly honest, I would probably not go anywhere special first. I'm not the most observant of people, and it would most likely be days before I figured out that I was invisible. After I figured out, I'd go to friend's houses and scare the living daylights out of them. ^_^

3. What's funny is I can't shake the feeling that you mean "how many pairs of shoes have you eaten?" 10 1/2.

4. No.

5. Hate it. I'm a Steak and Shake man, myself.

Ben (AND FROM NOW ON, ASK ON TIME!) >.<: 1. My daddy is Loki, and he is the Norse god of mischief.

2. Not the slightest idea. I hang my head in shame.

3.Lobo. Lobo, Lobo, a thousand times Lobo. Why? In his native language, his name means "one who eats your entrails and throroughly enjoys it." Is that not the coolest thing ever?

4.Depends. Are there pennies involve? If so, I'm screwed.

Open Mic Saturdays! (Extended through Sunday. *cough*)
In the never-ending struggle to make my blog better than everyone elses (and try to reclaim a spot in the top 100. Hell, I wouldn't mind being in the top 500 again ^_^), I have stolen anothers ideas and altered them just enough to avoid litigation.

What is this idea you ask? Standard Q&A session. You ask me something, I'll answer.

What makes my idea different, you ask? I won't be the only ones to answer, mwa ha ha! Each week, I will answer with a different "personna." Sometimes it may be me, sometimes it may be N-Hulk!

Every Saturday (hopefully) I will post which personna I will be answering questions as. Every Sunday, I will answer the accumulated questions. All both of them.

This week, it will just be me, the ever-lovin' blue-eyed Nerdsy*.

*Nerdsy is neither ever-lovin', nor is he blue-eyed.

I thought that they were angels, but much to my surprise. They climbed aboard their starship, and headed for the skies!
I got contacts this week. My new favorite hobby is to poke them while I'm wearing them. Expect me to post the entire story when this diversion goes wrong. Then, I'll sell the rights to Fox.

I keep telling you people that my life is extremely boring, and I have very little to write about. So, why do I keep updating? To keep the masses from rioting, of course! I'm the 513th most popular MyOtaku for a reason, you know.

So, in order to have some reason to update, I guess I'll talk about just how much I love City of Heroes. My Norse gods, this is a brilliant game.

It certainly isn't a secret that I love superheroes. I adore them. I I envelop myself in their mythology. Hell, I wrote my last report over the founder of the modern superhero, Stan Lee.

So, what game could attract me more than a game where I can be a superhero! Hot Shazzam, count me in! I know this has been said, but the character creation is simply awesome.

If anyone plays on either the Infinity or Triumph servers, look me up. I'm Nerdsy (duh) and the Lost Bishounen, respectively.

And we'll all float on...
Well, I finally updated here. Been a while, huh? That's what getting a life will do to ya.

Luckily, this time I actually have something to talk about! Yay!

It has been 7 months since I have posted at OB. 6 months since I visited (not including my visit yesterday). It just does not have the allure that it once had.

I may visit every now and then to read some of the RPGs. It is just that the people I once knew are gone... I doubt I could find more than a handful of membrs that could remember Voodookanaka, or KAMAKAZEE, or even kuja.

It doesn't bother me, however. I knew that my time at OB was eventually going to end. That ole' Cycle was going to get me sooner or later. And hey, I managed to meet my goal: I outlasted Will. Go me! ^_^

Anyways, I'll be fine and dandy, as long as I still have the friends I made.

The crank is turning.
Bleck, I wish they'd go back to the automatic color thing that they used to have. Typing out the html for deeppink is a pain.

Anyway, I hopped on the wagon and saw Spider-Man 2. Dear lord. It was no X-2, but it certainly rocked my socks. Doc Ock is my favorite Spider-Man villain, the actor who played him portrayed him perfectly. There were a few things I did not like about the movie. Too many women screaming, Parker wasn't nearly sarcastic enough, Kirsten Dunst did a horrible MJ, and the Green Goblin. God I hate the Green Goblin.

Anyway, yeah.

I wanted to sign up for Hero way back when, but the sign up scared me away. I was excited about the idea of a huge RPG centered around superheroes, but there was only on character I wanted to write. Having powers chosen for me would not exactly do well with the character, as he's pretty much my baby.

That and I decided I wouldn't want to muck up what is surely going to be an superb RPG.

But this is making me long for the days of Anime Stereotype High School. If we would turn that into a series of stories instead of an RPG, I would so be in. Hint hint.

And here you thought a profile redesign would mean more updates. Pshaw.
So, my life has been surprisingly busy, even with the summer upon me. I've been taking care of my aunt, who was recovering from surgery.

I got free meals out of it and saw some nice classic movies, which have solidified my fascination with the great Judy Garland. And trollies. Clang clang.

So, I went to the movies the other day. I must say, Dodgeball is a much better movie than I expected. It was very clever, had William Shatner, Chuck Norris, and Davie Hasselhoff.

I hope that that name is spelled right, or I might have a league of Germans stoning me for blasphemy.

Gaming, gaming, gaming, and just for a change of pace, knitting.

My gaming life has been growing increasingly more enjoyable. I've been beating games left and right.

Of all the next-gen games I have, I've beaten. Almost. I haven't beaten quite a few PS2 games, but I have such irregular access to a PS2 that it can't be helped.

I've beaten the last of my Gameboy games, so that left a huge hole in my daily routine. I need to pick up more.

I still have two X-Box games left to conquer. Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb and Shenmue2. The latter is a freaking awesome game, despite the insufferable lack of fighting. The former is decent.

I have recently made two incredible purchases involving video games.

The first is a throwback to just about everyone's childhood. I found a copy of Duck Hunt. And let me make this clear: this is not Duck Hunt coupled with Super Mario Brothers or Super Track Meet, this is Duck Hunt by itself. I found it in it's box, with an instruction booklet, and it only cost me a dollar. It was one of the greatest experiences of my life.

The second of these is even better. What could be better than Duck Hunt? Why, only the greatest "portable" system in the world. That's right, ladies and gentlemen, I have purchased a Virtua Boy. It was bloody awesome. It was so awesome, that the bag I was carrying it in ripped apart because it couldn't handle the awesome. This is my crowning achievement, boys and girls. I can die a happy man.

Random thoughts.

The local 80's station is changing it's format, but for this week they're playing TV show themes. The Underdog theme is playing now.

Sara, I'd recommend starting the Candyland RPG without me. I doubt I'll have enough time.

TTFN. Ta-ta for now.
