myOtaku.com: Nerdsy

3 part post? My life cannot be that interesting.
I hate my computer.

See, at school, when I'm working on the web page, I like to listen to the myOtaku Jukebox. So, naturally, I try to listen to it on my home computer. I figure it won't disconnect me, as I've listened to music on the internet before without it crashing.

It didn't.

What it did do was deny my computer the ability to load images. Everything, and I do mean everything that wasn't pure text came up as a little red "x".

Now, when surfing around myOtaku, this isn't so bad. All I really care for is the text anyway, and it made my pages load faster. The thing is, I only read a handful of myOtakus. Hell, SaraOtaku takes up more than half of my myOtaku reading time.

What I do with the majority of my time is read webcomics. (Read Real Life!) Now, you can imagine that images not loading puts a damper on that plan.

So, since my computer will crash if I even put my mouse anywhere near a music player, I've got to use the radio.

I just want to point out that Bohemian Rhapsody sucks if you're listening to it on a pair of headphones that only has one side working. I only heard 2 Galileos, and apparently everybody decided that they didn't want to let him go. *sigh*

EDIT: When I tried to post this, I quickly found out that I was no longer on the internet. This is strange, because I have no memory of signing off, or being disconnected.

Okay, I've been wanting to post about the C-kon for a while now.

It was fun. It wasn't worth the three and a half hour drive to get to it, but it was still fun. Because of a mixup, I didn't cosplay, even though Dougy was going to lend me a copy.

I saw an awesome necklace that was a copy of Tidus', which would have been uber-sweet, but I spendt all my money on Excel Saga DVD's. Fair trade, I guess. I probably could have borrowed money from Mom, but she decided that she wanted to eat at the hotel. Now, this was a Mariott. That means crappy food at high prices. I think we spent 50 dollars there. We could have eaten at a Dairy Queen and still had enough for the necklace.

I want to stop and say that I was stood within 3 feet of the guy behind MegaTokyo. You must now all worship me.

The only real let down of the evening was the fact that Sara decided not to come. Now, I'm not trying to make her feel guilty (so don't, Sara!), I completely understand why. It just would have been nice to hang around someone else besides my mom (as much as I love her, she was completely out of place).

Plus, they showed My Neighbor Totoro, and she missed it!

Anyway, it was a fun experience. In fact, we might end up going to a con in Texas in January, maybe I'll be able to meet Angel? I'd also like to meet Gin, but I'm not going to hold my breath. I wouldn't even be able to contact her to tell her I'd be in Texas.

I cleaned my room today. Let me tell you, I really need something to keep all my cables in order. I have six bloody consoles hooked up to that thing, a DVD player and satalite, and it gets a little messy.

It's such a pain hooking up my older consoles and satalite. They have this screw-on thing, which is almost impossible to get on or off. Add to that a broken satalite one, and you get one uncomfortable shock.

I realized how much better my stuff looks after it's been dusted. I thought everything I owned was gray, but now I realize that colors exist! Hoorah!
