Katamari do your best.
It has been a long time. I'm finding it a bit difficult to get myself back into the habbit of blogging.
Don't let the lack of proper updating fool you; I am, in fact, back, having finally had my home internet connection restored. I won't be able to pull the ungodly hours that I used too, but you just might catch me on AIM now and then.
Speaking of which, I have not had the chance to chat with anyone. I haven't seen Ben, A, or Sara, and while Shy has been on what seems like constantly, his handle always has a symbol of a cell phone next to it. Things I don't recognize make me nervous, and I can't help but shake the feeling that that symbol is one only I can see. I fear that if I indeed try to start a chat with him, I will find that someone has slipped iocaine powder into my drink. There is nothing I fear more than iocaine powder in my drink.
So I'm going to wait until either he talks to me or until I catch him without that symbol.
This weekend marks the first time that I have actually lanned at a LAN party. Sure, I've been to them before, but my computer lacks a network card and must therefore rely on the kindness of strangers.
This does not work. I hypothesise that it is because I lack southern charm.
Thankfully, we weren't playing an RTS. I have never gotten the hang of the RTS system, and I don't plan on trying in the middle of a multiplayer LAN.
I'm currently on the hunt for a job. When I say "on the hunt for a job," I actually mean that I am working up the courage to start to hunt for a job. I almost succeeded once, but than I freaked out and promptly left the building. I am indeed one to be pity. Or ridiculed.
I just finished Half-Blood Prince [I'm just wondering; when one only uses part of a book's title, is it necissary to use italics?] the other day. Wow. Of course, it is a Harry Potter book, it is expected to be good. That being said, it is far from my favorite. It is more enjoyable than Order of the Pheonix, but less enjoyable than Goblet of Fire. I can hardly wait for the next one.
And I have written a lot. My faulty internet connection is telling me that I shouldn't push my luck with this, so I'm going to continue catching up with my favorite webcomics.
That, and As Time Goes By is on. Squee!
Later, y'all.
